CRM software keeps a record of your business relationships: who your prospects and customers are, what you told them, where each deal stands and what the next action should be. This ranking compares ten CRMs, from the suites of the major vendors to tools built for small teams. Each profile describes the software, who it serves, its strengths and its limitations, with the price published in euros when there is one.

The 10 best CRM software in 2027

  1. Salesforce: companies of every size that want to bring sales, customer service and marketing together, with AI agents.
  2. HubSpot: teams that want to start with free tools, then add marketing and customer service on the same platform.
  3. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales: sales teams that want help from Copilot and interoperability with Microsoft 365.
  4. Pipedrive: sales teams that want a CRM organized around the sales pipeline.
  5. Sellsy: micro-businesses and SMEs that want CRM, e-invoicing and cash management in a single French tool.
  6. folk: teams that want to capture contacts from LinkedIn and track their deals without leaving that site.
  7. Vtiger: companies that want sales, marketing and support in one CRM, with a free edition.
  8. Attio: technical teams that want a programmable CRM, with an API, an SDK and an MCP server.
  9. Zoho CRM: companies that want a customizable CRM, free for up to 3 users.
  10. Freshsales: startups and SMEs that want a sales CRM with the Freddy AI assistant.

Why does the choice of a CRM matter so much in 2027?

Small businesses are far less equipped than large ones. According to figures published by Eurostat on May 20, 2026, 25% of small businesses in the European Union used CRM software in 2025, compared with 65% of large ones, a gap of 41 points. Across all size classes, slightly more than half of EU businesses (53%) used specialized management software: an ERP (enterprise resource planning suite), a CRM or a BI tool (data analysis).

A CRM is also a database of personal data. The framework published by the CNIL, France's data protection authority, on managing commercial activities suggests keeping the data of a prospect who is not a customer for three years from collection or from the last contact initiated by that person, such as a request for documentation or a click on a link. The CNIL specifies that simply opening an email should not count as contact. Customer data used for prospecting can be kept for the length of the business relationship, then for three years after it ends.

Your CRM should therefore date the last exchange with each contact and let you sort, archive or delete old records.

How did we rank these tools?

In October 2026, we read the homepage, the features page and the pricing page of each vendor. No paid testing, no partnerships: the ranking relies only on what vendors publish. Our four criteria, in order of importance:

1. Contact and pipeline management. Contact and company records, history of exchanges, customizable sales stages, tasks and reminders.

2. Automation and AI that serve the salesperson. Follow-up sequences, lead assignment and scoring, meeting summaries, sales forecasts.

3. A clear entry offer. A free plan or a trial with no credit card, published prices and readable caps move a tool up the list.

4. Fit with team size, and openness. Who each vendor targets, from the freelancer to the large account, and how much room it leaves for integrations and the API.

What we set aside: we did not take into account the customer counts, ratings or awards that vendors display, because there is no way to verify them from the outside.

The 10 best CRM software: the profiles

1. Salesforce

Salesforce brings sales, customer service, marketing and commerce together on one platform, with AI agents that work alongside your teams. The site highlights Agentforce to build and run these agents, Slack for collaboration, Tableau for analytics and Data 360 to unify your data.

For small businesses, the vendor offers two suites. Starter Suite covers accounts, contacts, leads and opportunities, Gmail or Outlook integration, lead assignment and customizable reports. Pro Suite adds quote creation, sales forecasting, more customization and automation, and access to AppExchange, the marketplace of apps and agents that extend Salesforce.

Best for: companies of every size that want to connect sales, customer service and marketing and hand part of the work to AI agents.

Strengths: a 30-day free trial, with no installation and no credit card; a free Slack workspace, connected to the CRM, from Starter Suite; more than 16 Agentforce solutions tailored to each industry.

Limitations: the amounts shown are starting prices, and transaction fees apply; Pro Suite requires annual billing and a subscription; Premier support is an add-on.

Pricing: Starter Suite from €25 per user per month (monthly or annual billing), Pro Suite from €100 per user per month (annual billing), VAT treatment not stated. Price checked on October 10, 2026.

2. HubSpot

HubSpot is a customer platform on which marketing, sales and customer service share the same data. It is made up of several "Hubs": Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, Service Hub, Content Hub, Data Hub, Revenue Hub for quotes, payments and subscriptions, Smart CRM to bring customer data together, and Agent Hub for AI agents.

On the sales side, Sales Hub covers the pipeline, email tracking (an alert when a prospect opens or clicks), lead scoring, follow-up sequences, meeting scheduling and sales forecasting. The Breeze assistant brings AI-based help across all of HubSpot, and AI agents handle prospecting or customer support.

Best for: from the freelancer to the large enterprise, teams that want to begin with free tools, then add marketing and customer service without switching software.

Strengths: a free offer with no credit card, with a unified view of contacts and management of companies and deals; more than 2,000 apps to connect; connection to Gmail, Outlook or Microsoft Exchange.

Limitations: the free offer is limited to 2 users and Starter to 10; the Starter price is a limited-time discount; advanced automations and AI-powered quotes come with Pro. AI agents consume HubSpot Credits, included depending on the plan (5,000 per month on Starter).

Pricing: free tools: €0 per month. Starter: €7 per seat per month, a price cut by 65% for a limited time. Pro: €90 per seat per month. Enterprise: €175 per seat per month. VAT treatment not stated. Price checked on October 10, 2026.

3. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales is the sales CRM of the Dynamics 365 range, which Microsoft describes as an agentic CRM solution. You query Microsoft Copilot in natural language to review your sales tasks and how the pipeline is moving. The software offers AI-based scoring models to qualify opportunities, opportunity summaries and meeting preparation notes.

Copilot also drafts emails and call summaries, with key sales indicators and suggested tasks. Prebuilt agents (qualification, opportunities, research, closing sales) run on Copilot credits, and you can build your own with Copilot Studio.

Best for: sales teams that want to track their pipeline, qualify their prospects and close their deals with help from Copilot, connected to Microsoft 365.

Strengths: interoperability with Microsoft 365 from the Professional offer; Copilot features in Outlook and in Microsoft Teams; a Microsoft Relationship Sales offer that combines Sales Enterprise and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Limitations: the agents require Copilot credits, and an Azure subscription is needed to use them; the Premium offer includes 1,000 Copilot credits per user per month, and extra credits are paid as you go or in advance; Microsoft Relationship Sales requires a minimum of 10 users and its price is on request.

Pricing: free trial version. Sales Professional at €56.30 excl. VAT per user per month, Sales Enterprise at €91.00 excl. VAT, Sales Premium at €130.00 excl. VAT, paid annually; Microsoft Relationship Sales on quote. Price checked on October 10, 2026.

4. Pipedrive

Pipedrive organizes selling around the pipeline: it lets you track your deals stage by stage, manage your leads and automate your sales process.

Its meeting tool, Nova, prepares a briefing before each call, records and transcribes the conversation, then suggests CRM updates you approve in one click; it is included in all plans. The AI also generates reports from a simple prompt, drafts and summarizes emails, and recommends the deals to focus on.

Best for: sales teams that want a visual pipeline and automated follow-ups.

Strengths: a 14-day free trial with no credit card; more than 500 integrations, including Google, Quickbooks, Slack and Zapier; Nova included at no extra cost in all plans.

Limitations: the site mentions no free plan, only a trial; email sequences require the Growth plan, custom scoring and e-signatures the Premium plan; several features (campaigns, website visitors, documents) are paid add-ons.

Pricing: Lite at €14, Growth at €39, Premium at €59 and Ultimate at €79 per seat per month billed annually, excl. VAT. Add-ons from €13.33 (Campaigns), €16 (Projects), €32.50 (LeadBooster, Smart Docs) and €41 (Web Visitors). Price checked on October 10, 2026.

5. Sellsy

Sellsy combines e-invoicing, CRM and payments in a single tool. Its suite has four modules: Sales (contacts, quotes, e-signature, opportunities), Invoicing (invoices, purchase orders, purchases, pre-accounting, automatic reminders, online payment), Cash Management and Marketing (landing pages, email and SMS campaigns, marketing automation, lead scoring).

On the CRM side, Sellsy enriches your records with legal and financial information from the SIRENE database (France's official business register), tracks when your quotes are read and syncs your mailbox. It is a Plateforme Agréée (a platform approved by the French tax authorities) for sending and receiving e-invoices. The solution is designed, developed, operated and hosted in France, and Sellsy is part of the TeamSystem group.

Best for: micro-businesses, SMEs and mid-sized companies that want to follow the whole sales cycle, from the first opportunity to payment, without jumping from one tool to another.

Strengths: CRM and e-invoicing in the same subscription, with no extra cost for compliance; credits for emails, SMS, signatures and postal mailings included every year; a 15-day free trial with no credit card.

Limitations: the subscription requires a minimum of 2 users and a 12-month commitment; the first plan caps pipelines at 2 and custom fields at 10; phone support starts with the second plan.

Pricing: for the Sales & Invoicing offer paid annually, Standard at €49 excl. VAT per user per month, Evolution at €89 excl. VAT and Elite at €119 excl. VAT. A "Réforme Facturation Électronique" offer (named after France's e-invoicing reform), valid until October 31, 2026 for the first year, brings them down to €39, €59 and €99 excl. VAT. 12-month commitment. Price checked on October 10, 2026.

Its Chrome extension, folkX, captures contacts from LinkedIn, Sales Navigator and other social networks, one by one or in lists. It finds missing email addresses, suggests your message templates in LinkedIn and Gmail, and lets you add reminders, notes and contacts to the pipeline without leaving LinkedIn. folk also offers MCP access, an API and integrations with Zapier and Make.

Best for: teams that want to capture their contacts from LinkedIn and social networks, then track their deals in a shared pipeline.

Strengths: the folkX extension to work directly from LinkedIn; a two-week free trial with no credit card; per-member pricing prorated when you add or remove someone.

Limitations: email sequences, dashboards and API access require the Premium plan; payment is by credit card only; the account is locked at the end of the trial if you do not move to a paid plan.

Pricing: Standard at €22 per member per month billed annually (€259 per year), €27 monthly; Premium at €43 annually (€518 per year), €54 monthly; Enterprise from €67 annually (€804 per year), €83 monthly. VAT treatment not stated. Price checked on October 10, 2026.

7. Vtiger

Vtiger aligns your marketing, sales and support teams around unified customer data, thanks to its "One View". The CRM handles leads and contacts, playbooks (a series of tasks to carry out at each sales stage), pipelines, forecasts and quotas, quotes, booking pages and a shared inbox.

It also includes a help desk (tickets, customer portal, knowledge base, live chat), marketing automation and AI features: Calculus recommends next actions based on conversation analysis, a chatbot answers customers, and an AI agent builder automates tasks.

Best for: startups as well as international companies that want sales, marketing and support in one tool, starting with a free edition.

Strengths: the free Un Pilote edition, for up to 10 users and 3,000 records; "single application" licenses for people who use only one module, to optimize spending; Android and iOS mobile apps with a business card scanner.

Limitations: the free edition caps campaigns at 1,000 emails per month; the generative and predictive AI designers and the voice assistant integration are reserved for the Une IA edition; local taxes are added to the prices shown.

Pricing: free Un Pilote edition and a 15-day free trial with no credit card. The French-language pricing page shows its prices in dollars: from 12 dollars (Une Croissance) to 50 dollars (Une IA) per standard user per month billed annually, with Un Professionnel at 30 dollars and Une Entreprise at 42 dollars; up to 34% savings on annual versus monthly billing, local taxes extra. Price checked on October 10, 2026.

8. Attio

Attio defines itself as the CRM that builds pipeline, moves deals forward and grows accounts continuously. Agents prospect and reach out to buyers, each new lead is enriched, scored and routed to the right salesperson, and you put your questions about forecasts or performance directly to "Ask Attio".

Attio also targets developers: a REST API, an SDK (software development kit) to build apps in TypeScript and React inside the CRM, and an MCP server to connect Attio to AI assistants and coding agents. It also syncs your email and calendar, enriches records and offers workflows, sequences and call analysis.

Best for: sales teams that want to build their own CRM with custom objects, and technical teams that want to connect it to their tools and their AI agents.

Strengths: a free plan for up to 3 seats; a 14-day trial of the Pro plan; the API, webhooks, SDK and MCP server offered on the site.

Limitations: the site has no French version; seats are capped at 3 on Free and 10 on Plus; each plan includes a quota of credits per seat and per workspace, and extra credits are paid.

Pricing: Free plan at no cost, Plus and Pro plans billed per user per month (20% savings on annual billing), Enterprise on quote. The amounts are published in euros on the site, in English.

What should you check before choosing?

1. The real price for your whole team. The CRMs in this ranking charge per user per month. Multiply by the number of salespeople, then add the minimums (2 users at Sellsy, 10 for Microsoft Relationship Sales), the add-ons and the AI credits.

2. The caps of the entry plans. A free or low-cost plan often limits the number of users, records, pipelines, emails sent or AI credits. Look at the limits of the plan you will need a year from now.

3. Sync with your email and calendar. During the trial, test the connection to Gmail or Outlook, the automatic logging of exchanges and the mobile app.

4. The integrations you depend on. Invoicing, telephony, LinkedIn, website forms: check that your tools connect, natively, through Zapier or Make, or through the API.

5. Compliance and exporting your data. Ask where the data is hosted, how the CRM helps you apply your retention periods and how to get back contacts, history and pipelines if you change tools.

Where does this ranking stop?

Our sources are the vendors' websites. Their homepages, features pages and pricing pages were read in October 2026, without opening a paid account or importing real contacts. On a few sites, this reading did not cover every page or found no price in euros; the profile is then limited to the information we could read.

It covers contact and pipeline management. Tools centered on invoicing, email marketing or marketing automation belong to other rankings. If you are looking for a provider to run your campaigns instead, see our ranking of the best email marketing agencies in France or our ranking of the best marketing automation agencies.

Offers change quickly. Limited-time promotions, AI credits, new plans: the prices in this ranking date from when they were checked, and this page will be revised.

Your context comes before the rank. Start from the Best for line and the caps of each plan, then test two or three tools during their free trial.

How do you fill your CRM with prospects who found you?

A CRM organizes what happens once a prospect has gotten in touch with you: their record, their exchanges, the deal in progress and the next follow-up. That is the job of the ten tools in this ranking. The step before it is still yours to handle: making sure a buyer looking for a company like yours finds it on Google and in the answers of AIs like ChatGPT. Our list of the 50 best channels for customer acquisition in 2026 lists the other sources of prospects.

Sorank automates that work. It gauges how visible you are in AI assistants, finds your keywords, then drafts and posts sourced articles built for AI, each one tied to your other pages with internal links. Prompt by prompt, it also follows the AI answers in which you are mentioned. Everything is detailed on the page of Sorank's GEO software.

Conclusion

Three profiles, three choices. HubSpot if you are getting started and want a free CRM for two people, with the option to add marketing and customer service later; Pipedrive if your sales team wants a clear pipeline, automated follow-ups and meetings prepared by Nova; Sellsy if you are a French micro-business or SME and want to track your sales all the way to the e-invoice in the same tool.

If you want to bring sales, customer service and marketing together with AI agents, look at Salesforce; if your teams work in Outlook and Teams, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales brings Copilot into them. In every case, calculate the price for the whole team and take advantage of the free trials before you commit.
