Our ranking of the 10 best freelance link building consultants in France in 2027, checked one by one, with published link prices, method and limits.

In short
Guillaume Girod is the most complete profile among the best link building consultants in France for a site competing on difficult queries: he personally handles the link profile audit, the anchors, the buying and the indexing follow-up, names clients such as LCL, HelloAsso and Sony Music, and shows a Malt rating of 5 out of 5 across 34 engagements. Fabien Raquidel is a better fit if you want to know the price of a link before the first call, Laurent Bousquet for a brand looking for press relations and partnerships rather than bought links, and Rémi Brandini for a team that wants to learn to run its own campaigns. The right choice depends first on your sector, your link budget and what your team already knows how to do.

Choosing among the best link building consultants in France means handing a single person the riskiest part of SEO: the links pointing to your site. That same consultant chooses the sites, negotiates the publications, balances the anchors and checks that each link stays online. The subject calls for caution: Google's spam policies list buying or selling links intended to influence rankings among spam practices, unless they carry an attribute such as rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow". This ranking brings together ten independent consultants who do this work, checked one by one, and says for each which type of site they suit and what level of risk they accept.
An independent link building consultant is both the person who sells you the engagement and the person who chooses your links. The audit of your profile, the list of selected sites, the anchors and the monthly report all go through the same person, with no project manager or writer you will never meet.
This format has three advantages: you know who chose each site, management fees are often lower than at an agency, and the consultant keeps the history of your link profile in mind from one month to the next. It also has two limits: one person cannot prospect hundreds of publishers a month, and their absences slow the campaign down. Several consultants on this list own sites, a blog network or a link-selling platform: this is a strength for access to placements, and a conflict of interest to raise clearly on the first call.
If you are aiming for several dozen links a month, in several languages or for several sites, or if you need press relations at scale, an agency team is often a better fit. Our ranking of the 10 best link building agencies in France (2027) covers that case.
Five criteria, in this order, applied only to what each consultant publishes on their own site and in public sources. Every site on this list was reviewed on 16 October 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days.
1. Link building is a core specialty. Consultants who describe how they select sites, manage anchors and monitor links come before those who list link building among ten services without going into detail.
2. Proof you can check yourself. Named clients, reviews published on a third-party platform (Google, Malt), training courses, podcasts or talks at industry events count for more than a number of links shown without a source.
3. An offer you can read before the first call. A price per link, a management fee, a day rate or at least a clear description of what the campaign includes, and of what is billed on top.
4. Fit with a type of client. We kept very different profiles (brands, online retailers, local SMEs, SEO professionals who buy links for their clients) and said which ones.
5. Real, independent activity. A live website, the person's name displayed, engagements carried out by the consultant personally or by a micro-business. A consultant who runs the SEO department of an agency, or who relies on the team of the agency they co-founded, was left out of this ranking.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not repeat the numbers of links placed, the link budgets managed or the traffic gains published by the consultants, because there is no way to verify them from outside. Rankings of consultants published by a consultant on their own site did not count as proof. We did not buy any links or audit any client's link profile.
Guillaume Girod is a freelance SEO consultant. He started in SEO at the end of 2017, worked in particular at Sohoros in Lyon, where he describes large-budget link building, then at NOIISE, and has been a full-time independent since November 2024, with no subcontracting. His page dedicated to link building details a six-step method: an audit of the existing link profile, an analysis of competitors' links, an anchor strategy, acquisition adapted to the sector (editorial purchases, outreach, link insertions, external content), monitoring of the indexing of the pages that carry the links, then monthly reporting. He writes that he has worked on topics closely watched by Google (sports betting, finance, crypto) and has operated private blog networks, which allows him to assess an existing PBN. He names brands he has worked on over his career: Columbia, Mobalpa, LCL, SoCoo'c, HelloAsso and Sony Music. His site shows a Malt rating of 5 out of 5 across 34 engagements. He prepares a tailored quote.
Best for: online retailers and brands targeting competitive queries that want a manager who ties each link to a specific page and anchor. His full-time independence is recent: ask on the first call how many campaigns he runs in parallel.

Fabien Raquidel is an SEO consultant in the Greater Paris area and has practised SEO since 2009. He founded VIP Agence in 2014, then in 2018 co-founded Vipseo with Patrice Ambrogio, a platform that sells sponsored articles on selected sites. He states that he now works alone and keeps this platform clearly separate from his consulting work. He publishes his prices: €100 to €400 per editorial link depending on the site, a full audit from around €1,200 and support from €800 to €3,000 a month, with no six- or twelve-month commitment. He chooses each site in a campaign himself by looking at the traffic curve, the topic and the history of the domain, reads several recent articles before buying, then checks the publication, the placement and the attribute of each link. He teaches in the SEO High Level and Ecommerce Level Up programmes, and has put free tools online at crawl-ia.com, including a backlink analyser built on Common Crawl data.
Best for: SMEs that want a price per link known in advance and a report that lists each link with its URL. He has seen the link market from the seller's side: ask whether the sites offered come from the Vipseo catalogue or elsewhere.

Laurent Bousquet is an independent SEO and GEO consultant and has worked in SEO since 2005, after five years of web marketing at Pierre & Vacances. He spent six years in the digital department of LDLC, then was a consultant at @position and iProspect, Head of SEO at Darwin and Head of GEO and SEO at Ad's up Consulting, before setting up as an independent in 2025. His « Netlinking & RP digitales » offer (link building and digital PR) starts with an audit of your link profile against three to five competitors, delivered in one to two weeks, then an acquisition plan with a budget per link and a timeline. It relies on digital press relations, partnerships drawn from your ecosystem (suppliers, associations, events) and presence on the sources that AI assistants cite. He says he favours editorial links and lasting partnerships. His home page quotes sites he has worked on such as ldlc.com, maty.com, ada.fr and cartedevoeux.com. He does not publish prices: the first 30-minute conversation is free.
Best for: established brands and online retailers that want to earn mentions in their sector's media, useful for Google as well as for AI assistants, rather than piling up sponsored articles. His independent activity is recent and his offer covers many topics besides links: check how much time he will devote to yours.

Rémi Brandini is an independent SEO and Google Ads consultant in Toulouse and announces 16 years of experience, including roles as SEO and Google Ads manager and team management at a website publisher. He is a Qualiopi-certified trainer and offers a one-day (7-hour) link building course, one-to-one, in person in Toulouse or remotely, for €900, which can be funded through an OPCO (a French training-funding body). The programme covers how to assess a link, analysing competitors' links, organising a campaign, link sources (press relations, directories, forums, sponsored articles, 404 pages to reclaim, link marketplaces) and tracking return on investment, with workshops run on the trainee's own site. He names clients such as April, Michelin, URGO, Ladurée, Clé Vacances and Aéroports de Toulouse. His site shows a Malt rating of 5 out of 5 across 83 engagements.
Best for: online retailers, marketing managers and consultants who want to bring their link building in-house and learn to judge a link themselves. If you want to delegate the buying and monitoring of links entirely, other profiles on this list are a better fit.

Clément Couderc is a freelance SEO consultant in Bordeaux, with more than nine years of announced experience, including a manager role at the Eskimoz agency, where he trained consultants. Link building campaigns are part of his services alongside audits and ongoing support: his off-site audit delivers a file of referring domains to target, and his monthly support includes a link tracking file. He publishes his day rate, €700 excl. VAT, and a budget example for a small site (€2,100 excl. VAT for the audits, then €700 excl. VAT a month), specifying that link building is billed separately. He shows client logos such as Maisons du Monde, Randstad and Tohapi, and two named testimonials, including one from the marketing director of Ignition Program.
Best for: SMEs and start-ups that want a link campaign built into full SEO support, with a method inherited from a large agency. The cost of the links is not stated on his site: ask for a detailed budget before signing.

Aurélien Hadoux is a freelance SEO consultant in Paris and announces more than five years of client work. He also builds websites and visual identities. His link building consultant page is one of the clearest on this list about prices: a link profile audit from €500 excl. VAT (three competitors analysed, acquisition plan, disavow recommendations, report within ten days), monthly support from €800 excl. VAT with two to five links a month and a three-month minimum, link budget on top, and a one-off campaign from €1,000 excl. VAT. He says he uses only methods he describes as white hat (guest posts, insertions into existing content, digital press relations), with no PBNs or link farms, and works with Ahrefs, Semrush and Majestic. His site shows a Google rating of 5 out of 5 without giving the number of reviews, and testimonials signed with a first name only.
Best for: freelancers, start-ups and small online retailers that want clear prices and a cautious approach. His FAQ quotes a lower monthly price than his offer: get the amount confirmed in writing, and ask for references you can contact.

Axel Guyennot founded NinjaLinking, a service specialising in links placed on enthusiast forums, a brand he registered with the INPI (the French intellectual property office) in April 2024 and now presents under the name Linkontext. He works for advertisers as well as for link resellers and agencies, which can order through an API. His site publishes testimonials signed with a first name and an organisation, including several SEO consultants and site publishers well known in the trade. His appearances are public and dated: two episodes of the MVP podcast, in 2024 and 2026, interviews on SEO YouTube channels and a talk at LearnyHouse in September 2025. He also offers appointments for SEO advice, and matches a competitor's price on a first order, on presentation of an invoice.
Best for: consultants, agencies and publishers that already have a link strategy and want to add forum links to their profile. He sells one specific type of link, without managing your whole strategy: if you are starting from scratch, begin with a consultant higher up this list.

Matthieu Texier has been a freelance SEO and SEA consultant in Rennes since 2020. His link building page describes an audit of the link profile compared with three to five competitors, a strategy that sets the monthly volume, the types of sites, the anchor distribution and the priority pages, then acquisition through guest posts, digital press relations and editorial insertions. He rules out PBNs, worthless directories and mass link exchanges, and his monthly report lists each link with the source URL, the target page, the anchor and its metrics. He publishes a starting price: a monthly campaign from €400 excl. VAT, link budget on top. He names his clients, mostly very small businesses and independents such as Les Jours de l'Encre, Bizoùh and Breizh Rénov 29, with signed testimonials, but no reviews on a third-party platform.
Best for: very small businesses and shops, especially around Rennes, that are starting link building on a small budget and want clear reporting. For a national e-commerce site on highly contested queries, his published references remain modest.

Guillaume Guersan has been a freelance digital marketer since 2013 and lives in Rouen. He offers SEO, Google Ads, Meta advertising and training, with a published day rate of €500. His link building offer includes three types of campaign: sponsored articles, volume links organised in a pyramid and PBN creation. He owns his own network of general and specialised blogs (travel and tourism, technology and IT), and publishes an indicative price: around €100 excl. VAT per article, down to €50 excl. VAT depending on volume. His site shows a rating of 4.9 out of 5 across more than 10,000 reviews without naming the platform; his about page mentions ComeUp, Fiverr, Udemy and Malt.
Best for: site publishers, affiliates and small budgets that accept more aggressive techniques and want a low price per article. Pyramid links and PBNs are among the practices Google can penalise: ask which sites he owns and keep that share of your profile limited.

Cyril Jouault is a freelance SEO webmaster in Caen and works mainly on WordPress, for businesses in the Calvados and Manche departments. Alongside website creation, which remains the largest part of his portfolio, he devotes entire pages to link building (platforms, guest posts, press relations, link buying, ninjalinking) and to PBN creation, and publishes a comparison of link building platforms. He shows client logos such as France Alzheimer, Yalacta, Clé Vacances, Alfie Formation and Shine, and signed Google reviews. He publishes neither prices nor the date he started his business.
Best for: SMEs in Normandy that want a single contact for their site, their SEO and their first links. For an ambitious link strategy on a national market, the profiles ranked higher are more specialised.

Five points to raise on the first call, whoever the consultant is.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It is based on public information. We read what each consultant publishes and checked that each site was live on 16 October 2026. We did not buy any links, audit any client's link profile or confirm any result. A discreet consultant who obtains excellent links will be underrated here. Several well-known names in French link building are not included because they work within an agency: our ranking of the best link building agencies in France covers them.
It does not know your sector. The right consultant for a consumer brand seeking press coverage is rarely the right one for an affiliate site in a contested niche. The Best for lines matter more than the rank number.
It ages. Link prices, offers and consultants' availability change quickly. Check on the consultant's site before you sign.
A link building consultant judges sites: they spot a domain that has changed hands and changed topic, negotiate with a publisher, turn down a link that is too good to be true and decide which page deserves to be pushed. These decisions require experience and relationships. Links only have value if they point to pages worth citing, and producing those pages is often what is missing.
That is what Sorank automates: after an audit of your site, the platform finds your keywords, writes and publishes articles optimised for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Many companies combine the two: the consultant to obtain quality links, the software to publish every week the content those links point to.
The best link building consultant is the one whose risk level and budget match yours. For a brand or an e-commerce site on competitive queries, Guillaume Girod offers the most complete method. To know the price of a link before talking, Fabien Raquidel is the most transparent. For press coverage and partnerships, Laurent Bousquet. To learn to run your campaigns yourself, Rémi Brandini. And to publish every week the content that gives your links weight with Google and AI assistants, discover Sorank.
The prices published by the consultants in this ranking separate two items. Management fees start at €400 excl. VAT a month with Matthieu Texier and €800 excl. VAT a month with Aurélien Hadoux, who also charges for a link profile audit from €500 excl. VAT. The link itself comes on top: €100 to €400 per editorial link with Fabien Raquidel, around €100 excl. VAT per article on Guillaume Guersan's blog network. Rémi Brandini teaches link building in one day for €900. The other consultants prepare a quote.
A consultant suits you when you want to know who chooses each site, keep a single point of contact and follow a few well-placed links each month. An agency becomes a better fit when you are aiming for dozens of links a month, several languages or several sites, or press relations at scale, with a prospecting team that does not depend on a single person.
Ask for an anonymised example report that lists each link with its source page, target page, anchor and date, then check that the sites offered get real traffic. Ask whether they own sites, a blog network or a platform whose placements they sell. Be wary of any ranking guarantee: Google's policies classify links bought to influence rankings as spam when they do not carry an attribute such as rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow".
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU
