Our ranking of the 10 best web design agencies in Athens in 2026, based only on public information, with sources, method and limits stated.

On this page
In short
Digital Footprint, CMD Digital Agency and E SmartChoice publish a starting price on their homepage, from €500, €300 + VAT and €299. Digitalbox and 9AM Labs specialise in WordPress and both give an Athens base. GNC Web and eproductions present long histories, since 2010 and 1997 as they state. Artware targets B2B companies with premium design, DigitalUp pairs its sites with Google advertising, and Dezitech works from Athens and Thessaloniki. The deciding criterion is not the price shown on the homepage. It is whether the agency tells you what that price includes, who owns the domain and the admin access, and who writes the content.

Choosing among the web design agencies in Athens means choosing a supplier for a site that visitors will judge in a few seconds. Greek businesses are already online in large numbers: according to ELSTAT's ICT survey for 2025, published on 17 December 2025 and reported by dnews.gr, 98.7% of the 47849 enterprises surveyed had an internet connection, and 12347 of them, or 25.8%, received orders through websites, apps or EDI systems. A company website is no longer a brochure, it is where a sale is made or lost.
Buyers in Athens often want to sit across a table from the people who will build their site, to agree on the brand, the copy and the price in person. Several agencies in this ranking say they also work across Greece, so the local base is a question to ask on the first call, not an assumption to make on the homepage.
The market is not small. In 2025, online sales in Greece reached 36.1 billion euros, according to EL.STAT as reported by To Vima on 9 January 2026. For a business in Athens, that means its site has three jobs at once: sell in Greek, be found by Greek searchers, and reassure a buyer who compares several suppliers before the first call. An agency that understands Greek copy and Greek search is worth comparing, but only if its own site proves it.
Four fears come up again and again in this category. Each one can be checked on the agency's own site and in a first conversation.
1. Paying a starting price that does not cover what they need. A low entry price is attractive, but it may leave out the copy, the domain, the hosting, the e-shop features or the revisions. CMD Digital Agency states its prices before VAT, so check whether VAT is added, and what the price includes beyond the page itself.
2. Losing control of the domain and of the admin access. A site that only the agency can change is a fragile asset. CMD Digital Agency says on its homepage that the domain and the access codes stay with the client. Ask every agency to confirm this in writing before you sign.
3. Waiting weeks for a site that was promised in days. The delivery promises in this list range from less than 24 hours (E SmartChoice) to 10 to 15 days (Digital Footprint) and 5 to 15 working days (CMD Digital Agency). A promise on a homepage is a claim, not a contract. Ask for the steps and the dates in writing.
4. A site that looks good but neither gets found nor brings customers. A brochure site with no search work and no content will not sell, whether the visitor arrives from Google or from an AI assistant. Ask who writes the text and who measures the results.
Four criteria, fixed before we checked which agencies would meet them, and applied only to what each agency publishes about itself on its own site. The homepage text of every agency on this list was reviewed in November 2026, and this page should be reviewed every 90 days, because prices and delivery promises in this market change quickly.
1. Web creation as the core business. Agencies that present website design, development and e-shops as their main service come before those that list them among many other services.
2. An Athens presence stated on their own site. An address, an office or a team in Athens. Agencies that show no presence in Athens are not in this ranking.
3. Proof published on the site. Named clients, a portfolio, or projects presented with their results.
4. A readable offer. A starting price, or a working method presented in steps.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not reuse the review counts, ratings or awards displayed on these sites, because most of them cannot be checked from the outside. We did not audit any site, read any contract or verify a single result. Phrases such as "award-winning", "certified" or "partner" below are what each agency says about itself.

Digital Footprint presents itself as a web development studio in Athens that designs and builds custom websites and e-shops. Its homepage gives a starting price of €500 and a delivery time of 10 to 15 days, and it says it has 50+ projects, with a portfolio of websites and e-shops. It works with Next.js, WordPress or custom solutions, with a stated focus on UX and speed.
Best for: small and mid-sized businesses that want a showcase site or an e-shop with a fixed starting price. The homepage does not say what the €500 covers, so ask for a written list before you sign.

CMD Digital Agency presents itself as a website builder in Athens that works with businesses across Greece. Its homepage publishes starting prices of €300 + VAT for WordPress websites and €150 + VAT for static ones, with the copy written for the client at no extra charge and a delivery of 5 to 15 working days. It names clients such as Hotel Collection and Calypso Sunset Villas, and says the domain and the access codes stay with the client.
Best for: businesses that want a WordPress site with the copy written for them and a clear price before the first meeting. Its references include hotels and property businesses, so ask what it has done for your sector.

Digitalbox describes itself as a WordPress agency headquartered in Athens, with more than 20 years of experience. It designs, builds, maintains and improves WordPress websites and e-shops. Its homepage names projects such as ARB Base Rack and Intuizoon, and includes a customer testimonial. No price is shown.
Best for: companies that want a WordPress site and a partner for maintenance and support over time. Ask for a quote on a defined scope, since the homepage shows no price.

9AM Labs publishes an address on Panormou, in Athens, and presents custom WordPress websites, web design and development, and digital scoping with requirements mapping. Its homepage shows a portfolio grouped by sector, including architects, construction, food and beverage, energy, technology and medical businesses.
Best for: companies in architecture, construction, energy or medical services that want a custom WordPress site and a requirements phase before the build. The homepage publishes no prices and no delivery times.

GNC Web presents itself as a website and e-shop builder based in Athens, working for businesses across Greece since 2010. It says it is a WordPress and WooCommerce expert and a registered Shopify Partner for Greece, and it presents a digital marketing offer alongside its builds. The homepage does not publish prices.
Best for: businesses that want a WooCommerce or Shopify e-shop from a supplier with a long track record in Greece. Ask for recent references you can check yourself, since the visible homepage text does not name the projects in detail.

Artware describes itself as a premium digital agency with offices in Athens and Kavala, specialised in B2B websites, B2B e-shops, branding and content. It calls itself award-winning and says it combines design thinking with custom WordPress work and a focus on SEO. Its homepage invites visitors to see its projects and book a meeting, and it publishes no prices.
Best for: B2B companies that want a premium site and a sharp brand positioning, with a budget to match. Because it publishes no price, ask for a range early in the conversation.

eproductions presents itself as an Athens-based digital agency since 1997, covering custom websites, WordPress, e-commerce, SEO, GEO and social media under one team. Its homepage names projects including Mousegraphics, Travelgems and Winery Monsieur Nicolas, and publishes no prices.
Best for: businesses that want the website, the search work and the social media from one supplier. Ask who writes the content and who approves it, since the homepage covers many services at once.

DigitalUp presents itself as an Athens agency that creates and promotes e-shops and websites, and says it is a certified Google Partner. Its homepage names clients including Body Shop, DHL and TotalEnergies, and sets out its work in four steps: design, implement, target and optimise. It publishes no prices.
Best for: e-shops that need the store and the Google advertising built together. Check the Google Partner claim in Google's partner directory before you sign, since it is the agency's own statement.

E SmartChoice presents itself as a builder of websites in Athens, alongside e-shops, custom software, AI systems and mobile apps. Its homepage promises a website in less than 24 hours and a starting price of €299 with no monthly subscription. It states three principles: speed, quality and results.
Best for: small businesses that need a simple site quickly and at a fixed price. Ask what the 24 hours include, such as the content, the domain and the hosting, and what the recurring costs are after launch.

Dezitech presents itself as a web and media agency present in Athens and Thessaloniki. It says it is specialised in WordPress and that websites and e-shops are its core service, alongside Google Ads and social media promotion. Its visible homepage text names no client and publishes no prices.
Best for: businesses in Athens or Thessaloniki that want a WordPress site with Google Ads and social media handled by one team. Ask for references before deciding, since the visible homepage text names none.
The criteria below were chosen before we checked who meets them, and each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own site. When an agency does not publish a piece of information, the cell says so rather than guessing.

Read the "Not published" cells as a lack of public information, not a lack of skill. Several of these agencies probably serve more kinds of clients than their homepage shows, and the honest way to find out is to ask them directly.
Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any homepage, and each one matches one of the fears above.
1. What exactly does the price include, and is VAT added? Ask for a written quote that lists the pages or products, the copy, the domain, the hosting, the number of revisions and the support after launch. A starting price is usually the lowest version of the offer.
2. Who owns the domain, the hosting account and the admin access? The answer should be the client, with the access handed over in writing. CMD Digital Agency states this on its homepage, so ask the other agencies to confirm it as well.
3. Who writes the content, and what will be measured? Agree on one or two indicators you already track, such as contact requests or online orders, and record their level on the day the project starts. Without that starting point, no report can show whether the site worked.
Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not useful.
It is built only on public information. We read what each agency publishes about itself and checked that the homepages were online. We did not visit any office, audit any site, see a contract or verify a single result. An agency that communicates little and delivers well will be underrated here.
It cannot know your context. The agency that suits a showcase site for a local clinic is rarely the one that suits a multilingual e-shop. The Best for lines matter more than the order of the list.
It ages. Prices, offers and delivery promises change, and agencies appear, grow or close quickly. This page should be reviewed every 90 days, and the reading date is stated in the method.
This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software wherever a site has to fit a real business: understanding what the owner sells, sitting with the team to write the copy, choosing the local references that will reassure a Greek buyer, and knowing when a page should be simpler. None of that is automated today, and anyone who claims otherwise is selling you something. For a guide to launching and running an SEO or GEO agency, see our agency guide.
What no website agency solves on its own is being found after launch. Search engines and AI assistants read articles, guides and comparison pages as well as homepages, and a company that is well designed but absent from those sources stays hard to recommend. That is what Sorank works on. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site, and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.
If you want a single recommendation: Digital Footprint or E SmartChoice for a fixed-price site delivered quickly, CMD Digital Agency for a WordPress site with written copy and a clear price, DigitalUp if the e-shop must be paired with Google advertising, and Artware if you sell to other businesses and want a premium brand.
And ask what the price includes and who owns the domain before you ask what the agency can deliver. The sites that last are built on a clear scope, accounts that belong to the client and content your team has approved. To place your website among the other channels that bring clients, see the 50 best customer acquisition channels in 2026.
The market has more agencies than this top 10. These nine also say they are based in Athens or have a team there, and they are worth a place in a second round of quotes.

This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
It varies. Digital Footprint starts at €500, CMD Digital Agency at €300 + VAT for WordPress, and E SmartChoice at €299 with no monthly subscription. Ask each agency for a written quote that lists what is included, such as the domain, the hosting and the revisions.
The client should own both. CMD Digital Agency says on its homepage that the domain and the access codes stay with the client. Ask every agency to confirm it in writing before you sign.
Agree on one or two indicators you already track, such as contact requests or online orders, and record their level on the day the project starts. Without that starting point, no report can show the effect of the site.
