The 10 best social media content creators in France to follow in 2027: podcasts, newsletters, LinkedIn and Instagram accounts, compared by format and level.

In short
Thibault Tourvieille de Labrouhe is the best overall choice among the best social media content creators in France: he co-hosts Le Super Daily, a podcast on social media news that has passed 1500 episodes and still released several episodes a week in October 2026. Isabelle Mathieu is the alternative: she has run the blog Emarketinglicious since 2010 and sends a weekly Social Media & IA newsletter that covers each platform with a trainer's approach. Hannah Medioni and Laurent François suit readers who prefer one newsletter every Tuesday, the first for the latest news turned into strategy, the second for a deeper look at algorithms and Internet culture. Nina Gambin is the better fit for anyone who wants concrete Instagram advice, and Yacine Kaïs for people who want to become freelance community managers. The right creator depends first on your level and on the format you actually read, watch or listen to.

Following the best social media content creators in France is the cheapest way to keep up with platforms that change their features, formats and rules every week. Social networks are also where a large part of the French public now gets its news: according to the second edition of the Arcom study Les Français et l'information, published on 29 January 2026, 4 in 10 French people get news every day on social networks, from a representative sample of 3377 people aged 15 and over. This ranking brings together ten French-speaking creators who publish about social media and community management, checked one by one, and says for each which reader and which level they suit.
Creators have become a real way to get informed, not only to be entertained. In its Digital News Report 2026, published on 16 June 2026, the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism finds that 30% of people across the markets it surveys now say social media and video networks are their main source of news, and that 46% get some news from creators of any type, while only 3% rely solely on creators, according to the executive summary of the Reuters Institute Digital News Report 2026.
That influence comes with a caveat. In a study of 500 popular news influencers published on 18 November 2024, the Pew Research Center found that 77% have no affiliation or background with a news organization, while 21% of U.S. adults say they regularly get news from news influencers on social media, according to Pew Research Center's report America's News Influencers. In other words, a creator is worth following when you can see how they work and what they sell, and works best as a complement to the platforms' own announcements, not as a replacement.
Four reasons, from the point of view of someone who wants to learn social media and keep up with it.
Several creators on this list, such as Thibault Tourvieille de Labrouhe, Antoine Périgne and Frédéric Foschiani, also run social media agencies. If what you need is a team to manage your accounts rather than content to learn from, our ranking of the best social media agencies in France covers that case.
Four criteria, fixed before looking at who would come out on top, and applied only to what each creator publishes on their own pages and accounts. Every account on this list was reviewed on 22 October 2026.
1. Regularity. Dated content in 2026, and a rhythm you can count on: a weekly newsletter or podcast counts for more than a burst of posts followed by months of silence.
2. Depth and accuracy. Analysis and examples count for more than opinions. A creator who explains why a format works, or what a platform change means, comes before one who only announces it.
3. Teaching. Content that a reader at a given level can apply, with a clear audience: beginners, future community managers, social media managers, entrepreneurs, marketing teams.
4. Independence. Content that teaches something even if you never buy anything from the creator. Selling a service is fine; a feed that only promotes an offer is not.
What I deliberately did not do: I did not estimate any audience. When a creator does not publish a follower or subscriber count, the table says « Not published ». I did not keep in the top 10 any account known to be inactive, and when a platform such as LinkedIn could not be read without an account, the entry says so. I did not include publishers of competing SEO software. And I did not count likes or views, which say little about what you will learn.
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as someone who follows these creators every week, not a paid placement. I am Thibault Besson-Magdelain, founder of Sorank, and no creator on this page paid to appear in it.
Thibault Tourvieille de Labrouhe co-hosts Le Super Daily with Adjan and Camille, a podcast on social media news and strategy. It is the most regular source on this list: episode 1509 came out on 19 October 2026, and episodes were released on 14, 16, 19 and 21 October 2026, several times a week. The podcast is also published on YouTube, and a newsletter goes out every two weeks. The podcast's audience is not published; the YouTube channel has 1.73k subscribers. He is the co-founder of the agency Supernatifs, whose Instagram account has 10.0k followers and LinkedIn page 9.335k.
Best for: community managers, social media managers and brands that want to keep up with the news of every platform while commuting. Long audio episodes take time: readers who want a five-minute summary will prefer a newsletter from this list.

Isabelle Mathieu has been a social media consultant and trainer since 2010 and publishes the blog Emarketinglicious, one of the French references on social media marketing, along with a weekly Social Media & IA newsletter. Her blog is active, with recent articles on generative AI and on employees who become creators, and her content covers LinkedIn employee advocacy in depth. What sets her apart is her breadth: she offers training for each platform, from LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok to Facebook, YouTube, X and Pinterest. Her published audience is 40.0k on X, 12.854k on Facebook and 1.105k on Instagram; the newsletter's audience is not published. She sells consulting, programmes and training.
Best for: marketing, communication and HR teams that want a structured view of every platform and of generative AI, in writing. Readers who want quick daily news will find the pace of a blog slower than a podcast.

Isabelle Cougnaud publishes practical advice on LinkedIn and Instagram strategy for getting known, finding clients and recruiting, mainly on LinkedIn and in her newsletter FOCUS. She also has a YouTube channel and offers free masterclasses on Instagram and LinkedIn. She is a columnist on BFM Business, which gives her a rare ability to explain social media to people who are not specialists. Her published audience is 40.0k on LinkedIn and 15.2k on X. Her publishing rhythm is not published. She works as a consultant, trainer and speaker on social media strategy.
Best for: entrepreneurs, independents and small businesses that want to use LinkedIn and Instagram to sell and recruit. Social media professionals looking for platform news will find the content more introductory.

Nina Gambin is an Instagram coach who publishes, under the name @callmevoyou, concrete advice on Reels, stories, carousels and hooks. She also releases her podcast Coupé au montage every week; it reached episode 96 in mid-October 2026 and is rated 5/5 from 42 ratings. Her published audience is the largest in this top 10 on a single platform: 105.0k on Instagram, plus 11.2k on Threads. She runs a community on Skool and works as an Instagram coach.
Best for: creators, freelance community managers and small brands that want to improve their Instagram content format by format. Her angle stays on Instagram: for LinkedIn or for strategy across platforms, look elsewhere on this list.
Hannah Medioni sends HOT SHOT every Tuesday, a Substack newsletter that decodes the latest social media news for people who do not have time to chase it, and turns it into strategy. She also shares her analysis on LinkedIn. The newsletter is recent, launched about eight months before this review, but its weekly rhythm makes it one of the most reliable written news sources on this list. Its number of subscribers is not published; her Instagram account has 1.476k followers.
Best for: social media managers who want one short weekly read to stay up to date. The newsletter is young: readers who want a long archive or deep analysis will also follow Laurent François or Isabelle Mathieu.

Antoine Périgne publishes on LinkedIn about community management and LinkedIn itself, and runs the Apéro CM community for community managers. He is regularly cited in lists of LinkedIn accounts to follow for community management. He also created PerfectPost, a free tool for LinkedIn posts. His published audience is 52.0k on LinkedIn. His 2026 posting rhythm could not be checked, as LinkedIn cannot be read without an account. He is the founder of the agency Social Media Family.
Best for: community managers who want to follow their trade on LinkedIn and meet peers. His posts are a feed rather than a course: pair them with a newsletter or a blog from this list.

Frédéric Foschiani designs and hosts #QSNTALKS, a podcast on social media, e-reputation and AI. It has 97 episodes, the latest released on 7 October 2026, at a pace of about one episode a month in 2026 (May, June, July, August and October). What sets him apart is the angle: his recent episodes connect LinkedIn, e-reputation and visibility in AI assistants, a topic that matters to any brand watching what AI assistants say about it. The podcast's audience is not published. He is the founder of the agency QSN-DigiTal.
Best for: marketing managers and business owners who care about their brand's reputation online, including in AI assistants. A monthly rhythm makes it a complement, not a news source.

Yacine Kaïs publishes on TikTok and Instagram advice for becoming a freelance community manager, finding clients and using TikTok and Instagram, completed by a blog of guides on the trade. He also brings together a Facebook group of more than 6000 freelance community managers. His published audience is 85.5k on TikTok, 13.0k and 11.0k on his two Instagram accounts and 3.63k on YouTube. The dates of his latest posts could not be checked during this review. He is the creator of the Devenir CM programme, which trains future community managers.
Best for: career changers and beginners who want to become freelance community managers and prefer short videos. Experienced social media managers will find the content too introductory.

Laurent François sends En Vivance every Tuesday evening, a Substack newsletter that analyses the impact of algorithms, social networks and Internet culture on society. It is the most in-depth reading on this list: rather than tips, it helps you understand why platforms evolve the way they do. The newsletter displays more than 2000 subscribers; he also has 10.0k followers on Instagram and 4.08k on X.
Best for: strategists, social media managers and curious readers who want to step back from day-to-day tactics. Beginners looking for ready-to-apply advice should start with another creator on this list.

Jonathan Chan publishes on LinkedIn and X about B2B marketing, social media, influence and AI tools. He has one of the largest published audiences on this list, spread over two networks: 64.0k on LinkedIn and 62.3k on X, plus 5.1k on Threads. He ranks in the top 3 of Favikon's list of social media marketing influencers in France. His 2026 posting rhythm could not be checked, as LinkedIn cannot be read without an account.
Best for: B2B marketers who want to follow social media, influence and marketing tools in short posts. Readers who want structured lessons will find more depth in a newsletter or a blog.

Three habits that make the difference between scrolling and learning.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It is based on public information. I read what each creator publishes and checked their accounts on 22 October 2026. Some platforms, such as LinkedIn, Instagram or TikTok, could not always be read without an account, so some rhythms are marked « Not published ». A creator who publishes very well but quietly will be underrated here.
It reflects one reader's opinion. The criteria were fixed in advance, but the weight given to regularity, depth or teaching is a personal choice. Another social media professional would rank some creators differently, and that is healthy.
It ages. Creators change rhythm, stop a newsletter or move to another platform. Check that the account is still active before you subscribe.
A creator explains what changes on the platforms and how to think about it. They do not know your site, your keywords or your competitors, and they will not write and publish your content every week. And while social networks bring attention, the people who discover you there often go on to search for you on Google or ask an AI assistant about you.
That is what Sorank automates: after an audit of your site, the software finds your keywords, writes and publishes articles optimised for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. To see it on your own site, book a call. Many readers combine the two: creators to understand, software to apply.
The best social media creator is the one who speaks to your level, in a format you will actually keep up with. For daily news in audio, Thibault Tourvieille de Labrouhe and Le Super Daily. For a structured view of every platform, Isabelle Mathieu. For one short read every Tuesday, Hannah Medioni, with Laurent François for a deeper analysis of algorithms. For Instagram formats, Nina Gambin. For LinkedIn as an entrepreneur, Isabelle Cougnaud. To become a freelance community manager, Yacine Kaïs. And if you also want to follow how brands become visible on Google and in AI assistants, our GEO and SEO newsletter covers that side every week.
