In short
Local Web is the first choice for a Brussels business that wants a dedicated SEO and GEO team, a Brussels landline number and a free quote before signing. HARGILE is the one to consider if you want SEO work combined with a daily check of what AI assistants say about your brand, and a monthly report. Romain De Ville suits a company that wants one senior consultant who does the work personally, in French, Dutch or English. SEO Brussels is the most direct starting point, since its homepage offers a free SEO audit within 24 hours. The right choice depends on whether you want a team or one person, and on how much search matters next to your website.

Choosing among the SEO consultants in Brussels means deciding who will work on your visibility in a city where most businesses are already online. According to the Brussels Institute for Statistics and Analysis (IBSA), as reported by BX1 on 2 September 2025, nearly nine out of ten companies in Brussels already reach the basic level of digital intensity set by the European Commission. The question is therefore no longer who has a website, but who can turn it into visibility on Google and in AI assistants. This ranking covers ten agencies and consultants that show a Brussels link on their own site: an address, a 02 phone number, an office, a team based in Brussels, or Brussels in their name.
Local search is a matter of place. A Brussels agency works in the same language, time zone and business environment as you, and it can meet you in person when a project needs it. That matters in a city where French and Dutch are both official languages and where many companies also work in English.
The market is also more digital than it looks. According to the same IBSA study, 86% of Brussels SMEs already reach the basic level of digital intensity. An agency is therefore rarely selling a first website to a company that has none. It is competing for the next step, which is visibility on search engines and in the answers of AI assistants.
Four concerns come back when a company in Brussels looks for an SEO partner. They are the questions to keep in mind while you read the profiles below.
We fixed four criteria before looking at which agencies came out on top. We applied them only to what each agency publishes on its own site. The review date is 6 November 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not check claims from outside, and we did not repeat the client counts or the traffic figures published by agencies as facts. Where a figure appears only in an agency's own words, the profile presents it as its claim. We did not rank any agency that shows no Brussels link at all.

Local Web presents itself as an SEO and GEO agency in Brussels, with a Brussels landline number on its homepage and a team that says it is certified by Google. It says its SEO work dates from 2017 and that it has followed more than 160 clients. The process it describes begins with an audit, and a free quote is offered.
Best for: Brussels businesses that want a dedicated SEO and GEO team with a free quote before any commitment. The site publishes no price, so ask for a written quote and for the names of the people who will work on the account.

MentionBox presents itself as an SEO agency based in Brussels whose core offer is search optimisation. Its homepage lists seven services: Google SEO, GEO (SEO for AI assistants), social SEO, marketplace SEO, tracking SEO, ASO (app store optimisation) and SEO training. It presents itself as a partner for being mentioned by the AI assistant your customers prefer.
Best for: companies that want their SEO to reach beyond Google, to AI assistants, marketplaces and social networks. A seven-service offer is broad, so ask which ones the agency runs itself and which it subcontracts.

HARGILE describes itself as a GEO and SEO agency in Brussels. Its homepage says it optimises the client's website and checks every day what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity say about the brand. Its process runs in three steps: set-up, corrections and a monthly report. It names four target groups: e-commerce brands, B2B software publishers, teams that already use an AI-monitoring tool, and independent SMEs.
Best for: e-commerce brands and B2B software companies that want to know how AI assistants present them and to correct it every month. The daily checks are HARGILE's own description of its method, so before signing, ask to see a sample report and the list of questions it tracks.

Romain De Ville works as an independent consultant in SEO, GEO and content strategy from Brussels, and says the consultant has more than ten years of experience. The homepage states that clients speak to the person who does the work, and that the consultant works in French, Dutch and English. It offers a 20-minute call and a monthly SEO follow-up, along with a quantified diagnosis of the site.
Best for: companies and institutions that want one senior consultant, reachable in French, Dutch or English, for SEO, GEO and content work. One person also means one point of absence, so ask who covers the account when the consultant is away.

SIBSEO presents itself as a digital agency in Brussels that supports businesses across Belgium. Its first services are SEO, GEO consulting and website creation, with advertising and communication also listed. Its homepage starts with a diagnosis, then offers a choice between a one-off review, ongoing support and a new site.
Best for: companies that want SEO, GEO and a website redesign handled together, with a diagnosis before any work starts. The text we read publishes neither a price nor the names of the consultants, so ask who runs the SEO work day to day.

Laureline Jozic presents a freelance copywriter who works on web texts and on SEO and GEO copywriting. The site says the copywriter has lived in Brussels since the age of 18, and the title names Brussels, but the text we read gives no full address. It lists web copywriting, SEO and GEO copywriting and social media writing, shows a few web and SEO copywriting projects and a client section, and its main call to action is a contact button rather than a free audit.
Best for: businesses that need web pages and search texts written by one freelance copywriter rather than a full agency. The text we read shows no price and no free audit, so ask for a written quote and for samples of pages written for search.

Absolute Référencement Bruxelles says it has been active for more than 25 years as a digital strategy consultancy. It offers SEO, GEO and AI-oriented referencing, paid search on Google Ads and Bing Ads, website creation and netlinking. Brussels appears in its name, but the text we read gives no full Brussels address, so confirm the office on its contact page before you sign.
Best for: businesses that want SEO, Google Ads and a website handled by one long-established agency. Its breadth is the main point to test: ask which person handles the SEO side.

SEO Brussels presents itself as an SEO agency for Brussels. Its homepage offers a free SEO audit within 24 hours, followed by a plan to improve rankings, and it displays a 4.9 rating. It also claims more than 50 companies in Brussels and a 130% increase in organic traffic. These are its own figures, and we did not verify them.
Best for: Brussels businesses that want a free audit before committing to a provider. Its homepage focuses on SEO, so ask whether AI visibility is part of the scope.

Push Digi is a web agency based in Brussels that serves small and mid-sized businesses and independents across Belgium. It links website creation with SEO: its homepage says each project is designed for natural referencing from the start. It publishes a rating of 5.0 across 92 Google reviews, and it promises a free quote within 24 working hours.
Best for: small businesses and independents that need a new site built to be found on Google, with a quote within 24 working hours. Website creation comes first in its offer, so check how much SEO work is included once the site is live.

Bluetime presents itself as a web agency in Brussels that is active across Belgium. It lists website creation, SEO and paid campaigns, says it is a Google Partner, and displays a 4.5 rating on Google based on more than 40 reviews. It also claims more than 25 years of digital experience.
Best for: Belgian companies that want a web agency offering SEO and paid search, and that accept a Brussels base serving the whole country. SEO sits next to web creation and advertising, so ask who leads the search work.

Three points to raise on the first call, whichever agency you choose.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It rests on public text. We read what each agency publishes, and we did not audit any site or confirm any result. An agency that communicates little and delivers well will be underrated here.
It does not know your budget or your sector. An agency built for a national brand is rarely the right one for a small local business, and the other way round. The Best for lines matter more than the rank number.
It ages. Prices, offers and team members change. Check each agency's site before you sign, because the text used here was read for this review.
A good SEO agency makes judgement calls: which pages to rewrite first, which technical problem can wait, and when a competitor's position can realistically be challenged. It answers for results in a meeting and adjusts its approach when Google or the AI assistants change theirs. Software can run checks and surface opportunities, but the decision stays with a person who knows your business.
That is where Sorank sits. Sorank is software, not an agency: after an audit of your site, the platform finds your keywords, writes and publishes articles optimised for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. A business can use a tool like this alongside an agency. Discover sorank.com, or book a call with the team at https://www.sorank.com/call.
The best SEO consultant in Brussels is the one whose way of working matches yours. For a business that wants a dedicated team and a free quote, Local Web comes first. For SEO that also covers how AI assistants present your brand, HARGILE and MentionBox are the most explicit about it. For one senior person who works in French, Dutch or English, Romain De Ville. For a free audit before any commitment, SEO Brussels. This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Ask for names and for the share of time each person gives to your account, not only the name of the person who sells the engagement.
Ask who holds access to your analytics, your Search Console and your website, and what happens to the content and the data if you stop.
Ask which AI assistants and which questions will be tracked, and ask for a sample report before you sign.
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU
