Which French e-commerce creators should you follow? Podcasts, YouTube channels and newsletters ranked by regularity, depth and teaching, checked one by one.

In short
Laurent Kretz is the best overall choice among the best e-commerce content creators in France: his podcast Le Panier has 535 episodes of interviews with the founders of French online brands, rated 4.9/5 on 379 Apple Podcasts reviews, and he was still publishing in October 2026, including episodes on commerce facing AI. Adrien Naeem is the alternative: with Laetitia Lamari he hosts Le Café de l'e-commerce, a news review of e-commerce and retail that has reached 280 episodes and comes out about every two weeks. Louis ST suits Shopify merchants who learn by watching tutorials, Germain Tenthorey PrestaShop merchants, and Danilo Duchesnes brands that grow through Meta advertising. The right creator depends first on your platform, your level and the format you actually listen to or watch.

Following the best e-commerce content creators in France is the cheapest way to keep up with a market that keeps growing and changing. French shoppers spent 196.4 billion euros online in 2025, up 7% in a year, across 3.2 billion transactions, according to the annual e-commerce report published by Fevad, the French e-commerce federation, on 11 February 2026. Behind that figure, platforms, ad formats and now AI assistants change every month. This ranking brings together ten French-speaking creators who publish about e-commerce, checked one by one, and says for each which merchant and which level they suit.
The tools merchants rely on change at the pace of companies that are themselves growing fast. Shopify reported 34% revenue growth in the second quarter of 2026 and more than 30% growth in gross merchandise volume, according to Shopify's press release on its second quarter 2026 results, published on 5 August 2026. Each quarter brings new features, new apps and new ways of selling, from checkout changes to AI agents that shop on behalf of the buyer.
The way people keep informed is changing just as fast. In its Digital News Report 2026, published on 16 June 2026, the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism finds that social media and video networks are, for the first time, the most widely used way of accessing online news (54% of respondents, against 51% for news sites and apps), and that 27% of respondents globally get some news from individual creators, while only 3% rely solely on them, according to the executive summary of the Digital News Report 2026 by Jim Egan. A creator works best as a complement to primary sources, not as a replacement.
Four reasons, from the point of view of a merchant who wants to learn and keep up.
Several creators on this list, such as Danilo Duchesnes and Thomas Jossomme, also run agencies. If what you need is a team to work on your shop rather than content to learn from, our ranking of the best e-commerce agencies in France covers that case.
Four criteria, fixed before looking at who would come out on top, and applied only to what each creator publishes on their own pages and accounts. Every account on this list was reviewed on 22 October 2026.
1. Regularity. Dated content in 2026, and a rhythm you can count on: a weekly podcast counts for more than a burst of videos followed by months of silence.
2. Depth and accuracy. Real cases, named guests and concrete methods count for more than promises of quick revenue. A creator who shows how a result was reached comes before one who only states it.
3. Teaching. Content that a merchant at a given level can apply, with a clear audience: beginners, Shopify or PrestaShop merchants, D2C brands, retail decision makers.
4. Independence. Content that teaches something even if you never buy anything from the creator. Selling a service is fine; a feed that only promotes an offer is not.
What I deliberately did not do: I did not estimate any audience. When a creator does not publish a follower or subscriber count, the table says « Not published ». I did not keep any creator without public activity in 2026 in the top 10. I did not include brand accounts of publishers of competing SEO software. And I did not count views or likes, which say little about what you will learn.
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as someone who follows these creators every week, not a paid placement. I am Thibault Besson-Magdelain, founder of Sorank, and no creator on this page paid to appear in it.
Laurent Kretz hosts Le Panier, the reference podcast of French e-commerce, where he interviews the founders and managers of French online brands and shops about their strategy, their acquisition and their logistics. The podcast has 535 episodes and a rating of 4.9/5 on 379 Apple Podcasts reviews. He was still publishing during this review, with episodes released six days before it, including special episodes recorded in Biarritz in 2026 and a series on commerce facing AI. He also writes a newsletter on Substack and posts on LinkedIn, where his published audience is 16.0k; the podcast audience is not published.
Best for: founders and e-commerce managers at every level who want concrete feedback from people who have built online brands, and who listen while commuting. Interviews tell you what worked for one brand: they are not step-by-step tutorials.

Adrien Naeem co-hosts with Laetitia Lamari Le Café de l'e-commerce, a review of e-commerce and retail news published as a podcast and as video. The show has reached 280 episodes, is rated 4.9/5 on 161 Apple ratings and comes out about every two weeks. The latest episode, released four days before this review, covered YouTube Shopping, Shopify and AI agents, and recent topics include Amazon and agentic commerce. His published audience is 4.77k subscribers on YouTube and 1057 followers on TikTok for the show; the podcast audience is not published.
Best for: merchants and e-commerce teams who want one regular, digestible news review of the sector. It is a news format: for hands-on tutorials on a given platform, look further down this list.

Germain Tenthorey is the founder of Webbax and publishes YouTube videos for PrestaShop merchants: SEO, updates, backlinks, AI and shop statistics. His rhythm is monthly, with videos on 25 June, 16 July, 27 August, 24 September and 15 October 2026, on topics such as PrestaShop SEO, blocking AI bots and analysing shop statistics with Claude. His channel is one of the few regular French-language sources on PrestaShop, and it often deals with visibility in Google and in AI assistants. His published audience is 11.6k subscribers on YouTube. Through Webbax, he also sells e-commerce services.
Best for: PrestaShop merchants and the people who maintain their shops, from intermediate level. Shopify or WooCommerce merchants will find little that applies directly, and one video a month is a slow pace for news.

Charles Mesnildrey is behind the E-commerce Nation podcast, which decodes e-commerce news (Shopify, Amazon, TikTok, ChatGPT) and gives a voice to people working in the sector. It is one of the most frequent audio sources in French: episodes came out on 8 and 14 October 2026, then three days and 20 hours before this review, so several a week, on topics such as YouTube Shopping, Shopify, Amazon and agentic commerce. The podcast is rated 4.5/5 on 12 Apple reviews. Its audience is not published.
Best for: merchants who want frequent, short news updates in audio. The volume is high, so pick the episodes that match your platform rather than trying to listen to all of them.

Danilo Duchesnes hosts Le Rendez-vous E-commerce, a podcast on Meta advertising, UGC and acquisition for D2C brands, published once or twice a week: episodes came out on 11 and 15 October 2026, then four days and five hours before this review. It is rated 4.9/5 on 117 Apple ratings. He shares concrete cases from his agency and from guests in the sector. He also writes a newsletter on Substack, with a published audience of 6.6k; the podcast audience is not published. He is the founder of the agency DHS Digital, which sells its services to e-commerce brands.
Best for: D2C brands that fund their growth with paid social and want to understand creatives and acquisition. The angle is advertising: SEO, logistics or platform choice are not the core of the show.

Louis ST publishes every week on his YouTube channel Shopify OS: Shopify tutorials, app tests and strategies for Black Friday. With 52.8k subscribers and 300 videos, it is one of the most followed and most regular French-language channels dedicated only to Shopify; his latest videos came out three days, ten days, two weeks and three weeks before this review. His full name is not displayed. He is a Shopify trainer and sells training through ShopiOS, including a community on Skool.
Best for: beginners and intermediate Shopify merchants who learn by watching someone set up a shop step by step. The channel stays on Shopify: merchants on other platforms will have to look elsewhere, and part of the content leads to the paid training.

Christophe Vidal is an e-commerce SEO consultant specialised in PrestaShop. Every week he co-hosts with Thomas Rayrat the video podcast Contrib., on e-commerce, AI and search engines: episodes came out on 1, 8 and 15 October 2026, and again three hours before this review, on Universal Cart, Amazon and Shopify. The podcast is rated 5/5 on 6 ratings. He links SEO, e-commerce platforms and AI, a rare angle in French. His published audience is 301 subscribers on the Contrib. YouTube channel and 1.88k on his personal channel, which has been little active for three years. He sells SEO consulting, and presents himself as an ambassador of an SEO software brand, which is worth keeping in mind.
Best for: intermediate merchants and e-commerce marketers who want to understand how search and AI are changing the way products are found. The show also covers tech and business more broadly, so not every episode is about e-commerce.

Nath Debaque is a YouTuber who shows his methods for dropshipping, finding winning products and running e-commerce with AI: product research with AI, AliExpress, preparing the fourth quarter. His channel has 70.4k subscribers and 483 videos, the largest published audience in this top 10, and he posts one to two videos a month, the latest five days before this review. He also posts on Instagram (5.5k) and links to his site ecom-master.fr.
Best for: beginners who are launching a first shop and want to see a method applied. The tone focuses on revenue figures: compare the promised results with your own margins and test small before investing.

Cyril Artur du Plessis publishes two episodes a week of Les Digital Doers: a weekly press review of retail and e-commerce, and interviews with retail and e-commerce leaders. The podcast has 491 episodes and a rating of 4.7/5 on 57 ratings; episodes came out on 9 and 13 October 2026, then five and two days before this review. It works as a weekly watch on online and physical commerce. His published audience is 11.0k on LinkedIn; the podcast audience is not published.
Best for: retail and e-commerce managers in larger companies who want a weekly summary of the sector. Small Shopify merchants will find it more oriented towards retail strategy than towards running a shop.

Thomas Jossomme hosts Club Croissance, a podcast on the growth of e-commerce brands: Meta and Google Ads, TikTok Shop and CRO, with e-commerce managers from brands. Episodes come out roughly every week, with breaks: 3, 10 and 17 September, then 13 October 2026. The podcast is rated 5/5 on 5 reviews, and the episodes detail methods that have been applied. His published audience is 9.8k on LinkedIn and 1.42k on the agency's YouTube channel; the podcast audience is not published. He is the founder of the agency xplr, which works for e-commerce brands.
Best for: e-commerce brands that already invest in advertising and want to improve how they measure and optimise it. The breaks in the schedule make it a complement rather than a main weekly source.

Three habits that make the difference between listening and learning.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It is based on public information. I read what each creator publishes and checked their accounts on 22 October 2026. Podcast platforms do not publish listener numbers, so most audiences in the table come from a secondary account. A creator who publishes very well but quietly will be underrated here.
It reflects one reader's opinion. The criteria were fixed in advance, but the weight given to regularity, depth or teaching is a personal choice. Another merchant would rank some creators differently, and that is healthy.
It ages. Creators change rhythm, pause a podcast or move to another platform. Check that the account is still active before you subscribe.
A creator explains what is changing in e-commerce, in advertising and in the way AI assistants recommend products, and how to think about it. They do not know your shop, your products or your competitors, and they will not write and publish your pages every week.
That is what Sorank automates: after an audit of your site, the software finds your keywords, writes and publishes articles optimised for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. To see it on your own shop, book a call. Many merchants combine the two: creators to understand, software to apply.
The best e-commerce creator is the one who speaks to your platform and your level, in a format you will actually keep up with. For real stories from the people who build online brands, Laurent Kretz. For a regular news review, Adrien Naeem, with Charles Mesnildrey if you want several episodes a week and Cyril Artur du Plessis for a retail angle. For Shopify tutorials, Louis ST; for PrestaShop, Germain Tenthorey. For paid acquisition, Danilo Duchesnes and Thomas Jossomme. For a first shop, Nath Debaque. And to keep up with search and AI visibility every week, subscribe to our GEO and SEO newsletter.

This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Laurent Kretz is the best overall choice: his podcast Le Panier has 535 episodes of interviews with the founders of French online brands, rated 4.9/5 on 379 Apple Podcasts reviews, and he was still publishing in October 2026. Adrien Naeem, co-host of Le Café de l'e-commerce, is the alternative for a news review every two weeks.
For Shopify, Louis ST publishes weekly tutorials and app tests on his YouTube channel Shopify OS (52.8k subscribers, 300 videos). For PrestaShop, Germain Tenthorey publishes a monthly video on his channel Webbax, often about SEO and visibility in AI assistants.
On four criteria fixed in advance: regularity, depth and accuracy, teaching and independence, applied to what each creator publishes on their own accounts, reviewed on 22 October 2026. No audience was estimated, no inactive account was kept in the top 10, and the ranking reflects the opinion of Thibault Besson-Magdelain, founder of Sorank, not a paid placement.
