The 10 best SEO agencies in Brussels, ranked on four buyer criteria, with what each agency publishes and three questions to ask before signing.

In short
Hargile is our first pick for brands that want both Google rankings and visibility in AI assistants, run as one plan and reported every month in French, Dutch or English. Flyeo builds its offer around AI visibility and publishes a four-step method. Local Web suits Brussels businesses that want a local SEO team, a free quote and an audit before any commitment. Clyde and Bonnie fits companies that want SEO, GEO and Google Ads run by one team under a published audit, strategy and execution method. MentionBox lists the widest set of SEO services, from Google to marketplaces and app stores. Oltre Digital is the specialist for law, accounting and architecture firms. Push Digi and Perel Web Studio fit companies rebuilding a site that has to rank from the day it goes live. SEO Brussels offers the clearest entry point, a free SEO audit it promises within 24 hours. Emmanuelle Wiesemes is a proximity option for businesses that want one contact for their website and their SEO. The deciding criterion is not the rating or the traffic an agency displays. It is whether the agency tells you plainly what it will do, who owns your accounts and how it will measure the work.

Choosing among the best SEO agencies in Brussels means choosing for a bilingual market in which a growing share of companies already use AI tools. According to the Belgian statistics office Statbel, as reported by La Libre on 2 December 2025, more than one Belgian company in three (34.5%) used at least one artificial intelligence technology in 2025. Statbel's 2025 survey on ICT use in enterprises gives the same result, as summarised by the Forum for the Future blog. Each agency below is judged on what it publishes about itself, not on the claims a directory repeats.
Local search is not one market. An agency that knows the city's businesses, directories and neighbourhoods can work with local judgement, rather than applying the same template everywhere.
Brussels adds a second layer. The city is officially bilingual, French and Dutch, and many of its companies also work in English. A page that ranks in French may not serve a Dutch-speaking buyer, and a monthly report in the wrong language is rarely read. That is why this ranking looks at whether each agency publishes its work in the languages its buyers use.
Four fears come up when a company in Brussels hires an SEO agency. Each one can be checked on the agency's own site before the first call.
1. Paying for a ranking nobody can deliver. An agency that promises a position is selling something it does not control. Ask which results it commits to instead: deliverables, dates and measures.
2. A bilingual city served in one language. If the site, the articles or the reports are only in English, a French- or Dutch-speaking buyer may not find what they need. Ask which languages the work is delivered in, not only which languages the homepage uses.
3. Reporting that counts visits, not clients. Impressions and traffic are easy to show and hard to tie to revenue. A Brussels company should expect reporting linked to calls, quote requests or sales, with a starting level recorded on day one.
4. An AI pitch that forgets the site. Several agencies on this list sell visibility in AI assistants, and that matters. An AI plan that does not improve the pages it relies on, however, is only half a plan. Ask which pages will change, and how the results will be checked in Google as well as in AI answers.
Four criteria, in this order, were fixed before we looked at which agency won them, and they are applied only to what each agency publishes about itself. Every homepage on this list was read in November 2026, and this page will be reviewed every three months, because the market and the AI assistants change quickly.
1. SEO as a named, detailed service. Search engine optimisation appears on the site as a service of its own, not as one line among ten.
2. A Brussels anchor the site displays. An address, an office, a team or a stated location in Brussels, shown on the agency's own site.
3. A bilingual market in practice. Contents, steps or reports published in French, Dutch or English, the languages Brussels buyers use.
4. A readable method and visible proof. Steps published on the site, a first audit or diagnosis offered, and clients or cases named or described.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not rank on review counts, star ratings or growth percentages. Where an agency displays one, we quote it as its own claim. We did not verify any result, audit any campaign, interview any client or check company registrations.

Hargile describes itself as a GEO and SEO agency in Brussels that helps companies get quoted by ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot and Google's own AI. Its homepage says it optimises the site itself and checks each day what the assistants say about the brand. The work is set out in three steps: set-up, corrections, then a monthly report. The site is published in French, Dutch and English and names four groups it works with: e-commerce brands, B2B software publishers, teams that already run an AI monitoring tool, and independent SMEs.
Best for: Brussels companies that want an SEO and AI visibility agency that does the site work itself and reports every month. Its homepage leads with AI assistants, so ask how classic Google rankings are reported next to them.

Flyeo calls itself a Brussels-based AI visibility agency for Belgian companies and European scale-ups. Its homepage says GEO and AEO are part of its core method rather than add-ons, and that it optimises for search, generative and answer results at once. Its method has four steps: audit and diagnosis, strategy and architecture, execution and optimisation, then measurement and iteration. It says it tracks AI citations, answer box ownership and organic traffic. The claim that it is the first SEO agency in Belgium with GEO built into its DNA is the agency's own.
Best for: companies that want an SEO plan designed around AI answers from the start, with a clear four-step method. Ask for a client whose position it has improved in both Google and AI answers, and check it before relying on the "first in Belgium" claim.

Local Web presents itself as an SEO and GEO agency in Brussels, and says it has been a specialist since 2017. It says its team is made of graduates certified by Google and that it follows more than 160 clients, figures it publishes as its own. Its page describes a personalised SEO process that starts with an audit, and it offers a free quote. The homepage shows a Brussels landline number.
Best for: Brussels SMEs that want a local SEO team they can call, with an audit before any contract. The client count and the Google certifications are the agency's own statements, so ask for the certificates and for two clients you can speak to.

Clyde and Bonnie is a communication agency whose address is listed at Cantersteen 12, 1000 Bruxelles. Its homepage covers SEO, GEO, Google Ads, social media and web, and describes a method in three phases: audit, strategy, execution. Its case study section presents work for clients in Brussels and abroad. The site says the agency has been operating since 2008 and works only with senior people, which are its own claims.
Best for: Brussels companies that want SEO, GEO and Google Ads run by one team under a published method. It calls itself a communication agency first, so ask how much of the team's time goes to SEO compared with advertising.

MentionBox, formerly Elocos, is an SEO agency based in Brussels. Its services list seven expertises: Google SEO, GEO (AI SEO), social SEO, marketplace SEO, tracking SEO, ASO and SEO training. Its homepage argues that customers now discover brands on social networks, ask AI assistants, compare on Google and buy on marketplaces, and it says it works on every one of those paths. The site also publishes its methodology.
Best for: brands that sell through marketplaces or social networks as well as through their own site. The list is wide, so ask which two expertises it would start with and why.

Oltre Digital is a Brussels-based agency that helps lawyers, accountants, architects and other professionals get found and recommended by AI assistants. It checks how ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google describe a firm, rewrites the pages those assistants read and monitors citations every month, in English, Italian and French. Its services also include SEO, web design, online advertising and digital strategy.
Best for: professional firms that want to be named in AI answers. Its client focus is professional services, so a shop or a software company will find that less of its method applies to it.

Push Digi is a web agency based in Brussels for SMEs, independents and shopkeepers in Belgium. It builds websites and handles SEO and Google Ads, and it says it designs each project with natural referencing (SEO) in mind. It promises a free quote within 24 working hours and reports a 5.0 rating from 92 Google reviews, which is its own figure.
Best for: small Brussels businesses and independents that need a new site built to be found, rather than an SEO service alone. Ask for the SEO deliverables to be written separately in the quote.

Perel Web Studio calls itself an AI-oriented web and digital marketing agency in Brussels. Its homepage names three client projects: Galant Architectes, Hercules Merchandise and Tulum.immo. Its services are sites and migration, visibility on Google and AI, AI agents and automation, e-commerce and web apps, and maintenance. It publishes a testimonial from a named client, Gilles Parmentier, and its page title pairs SEO with web development and e-commerce.
Best for: Brussels companies rebuilding a site that must rank once it is live, with named client work to look at. The site leads with development, so ask how much SEO work follows the launch and who reports on it.

SEO Brussels presents itself as an SEO agency for Brussels businesses, with a free SEO audit delivered within 24 hours and a plan to rank better and receive more calls. Its homepage gives figures that are its own: a 4.9 rating, more than 50 companies in Brussels and +130% organic traffic. Its service pages cover technical optimisation, localised content and off-site work, including local backlinks.
Best for: Brussels businesses that want a free audit and a local SEO plan before committing. The rating and the traffic figure are the agency's own, so ask for a read-only view of one client's analytics before you rely on them.

Emmanuelle Wiesemes is a digital agency at 1000 Bruxelles. Its services include website creation and design, natural referencing (SEO), SEO consulting, web copywriting, social networks and social media optimisation. Its homepage offers a first consultation free of charge and presents the agency as a local provider for businesses that do not have time to manage their web communication themselves.
Best for: small Brussels businesses that want one local contact for their website, their SEO and their social media. The site describes a proximity agency, so ask who will do the work and how many clients they carry at the same time.
The criteria below were chosen before we checked who wins them. Each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own site as read in November 2026. Where the site says nothing, the cell says "Not published" rather than guessing.
| Agency | Brussels anchor on the site | SEO as a named service | Languages the site uses | Entry point on the site |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hargile | Agency in Brussels (GEO and SEO) | Yes | French, Dutch, English | Audit request |
| Flyeo | Brussels-based | Yes | English | Free diagnosis |
| Local Web | Agency in Brussels (SEO and GEO) | Yes | French | Free quote |
| Clyde and Bonnie | Address at Cantersteen 12, Brussels | Yes | French | 20-minute call |
| MentionBox | Based in Brussels | Yes (seven expertises) | French | Not published |
| Oltre Digital | Brussels-based | Yes | English, Italian, French | Free AI Visibility Scan |
| Push Digi | Based in Brussels | Yes | French | Free quote within 24 working hours |
| Perel Web Studio | Brussels based | Yes, under "Visibility on Google and AI" | English | Free quote |
| SEO Brussels | SEO agency for Brussels businesses | Yes | French | Free SEO audit within 24 hours |
| Emmanuelle Wiesemes | Agency at 1000 Bruxelles | Yes | French | First consultation free |
Read the "Not published" cells as a lack of public information, not a lack of competence. Several of these agencies probably serve more kinds of clients than their homepage shows, and the honest way to find out is to ask them directly.
Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any case study, and each one matches a fear listed above.
1. Who owns your Google Business Profile, your Search Console and your analytics? The answer should be your company, with the agency as an editor or administrator. Local results depend on your profile, so a profile you cannot access is a risk you carry alone.
2. Will you guarantee a ranking or a number of AI answers? No agency controls its place on Google or the answers an AI assistant gives, so an agency that promises a position or a count of AI citations is selling what it does not control. Ask what it will commit to instead: deliverables, dates and measures.
3. Which indicator will you report to us, in which language, and against which starting point? Agree on one or two indicators you already track, such as calls, quote requests or sales, and record their level before the work starts. A report in a language your team does not read is a report nobody uses.
Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.
It is built only on public information. We read what each agency publishes and checked the sites in November 2026. We did not audit a campaign, verify a result, interview a client or check Belgian company registrations, so a Brussels address stated on a site is taken as stated. An agency that communicates little and works very well will be underrated here.
It cannot know your context. A Brussels shop that needs sales is rarely best served by the same partner as a B2B software company with a long sales cycle. The Best for lines matter more than the order.
It ages. Google's guidance, the AI assistants and the agencies themselves all change quickly. This page will be reviewed every three months, and the reading date is stated in the method.
This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software on everything that needs local judgement: knowing which Brussels sectors respond to which pages, deciding when the French and Dutch versions of a page should say different things, sensing when a campaign should be stopped and when it should be pushed, and explaining a result to a board. None of that is automatable today, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something. For a broader view of when hiring an agency makes more sense than running SEO in house, see our agency guide.
What no agency solves on its own is the quality of what your company publishes. Search engines and AI assistants read articles, guides and comparison pages as well as company websites, and a brand that is praised by a few agencies but absent from the rest of the web remains a fragile recommendation.
That is what Sorank works on. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.
If you want a single recommendation: Hargile if you want SEO and AI visibility run as one plan, in French, Dutch or English; Clyde and Bonnie if you want SEO and Google Ads from one team under a published method; Oltre Digital if you are a law, accounting or architecture firm; Perel Web Studio or Push Digi if you are rebuilding a site that has to rank from launch; and Local Web or Emmanuelle Wiesemes if you want a local team close to you, with a free quote or a free first consultation.
Then ask how the agency will work before asking what it promises. The SEO work that lasts is made of clear ownership, content your team approves and a baseline you measured on day one. To place SEO among the other channels that feed your pipeline, see the 50 best customer acquisition channels in 2026.

This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Ownership should sit with your company, with the agency as an editor or administrator. Ask for the list of accesses before the work starts.
Google says no one can guarantee a number one ranking, so an agency that promises a position or a count of AI citations is selling what it does not control. Ask what it will commit to instead: deliverables, dates and measures.
Agree on one or two indicators you already track, such as calls, quote requests or sales, and record their level before the work starts. A report in a language your team does not read is a report nobody uses.
