2. Purpose and Scope

This policy applies to:

1. Subscriptions to the Sorank platform, including the free trial and its conversion into a paid subscription.
2. The purchase of credits or additional features.
3. Any service delivered under a separate written quotation.

The Backlink Network is a free optional feature offered in addition to a subscription. It is not a paid item and falls outside the scope of any refund, as set out in Section 7. Stone Rank Kft. no longer sells backlinks, sponsored articles or media placements of any kind.

3. General Principles

All prices are displayed in EUR, exclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated. Payments for subscriptions are processed through Stripe, which uses TLS encryption and is PCI DSS compliant. Any refund request must follow the procedure described in Section 9.

4. Free Trial

4.1 No charge during the trial. The free trial lasts three (3) calendar days. A valid payment card is required to start it, but no amount is charged during the trial period.

4.2 Cancelling before the first charge. The Client may cancel at any moment during the trial from the Subscription section of the dashboard, in one step and without giving a reason, or by writing to support (at) sorank.com before the end of the third day. In either case the trial does not convert and no amount is charged. Nothing has to be refunded because nothing has been taken.

4.3 After conversion. If the trial is not cancelled, it converts automatically into the paid subscription of the plan selected and the card is charged for the first billing period at the price displayed at checkout. From that moment the rules of Sections 5 and 6 apply.

4.4 A charge you did not expect. If you were charged after a trial and believe you cancelled in time, write to support (at) sorank.com with the date of your cancellation. Where we cannot show that the information required by Section 6.4 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale was given to you before the order, we refund the charge in full.

5. Sorank Subscriptions

5.1 Monthly subscription. Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable, except where the ninety-day performance guarantee in Section 6 applies. Paid features and credits are activated immediately upon payment. By starting to use the platform the Client expressly acknowledges that the service constitutes digital content delivered immediately and, where the conditions of Section 9.2 of the Terms and Conditions of Sale are met, waives the statutory right of withdrawal for the service already provided.

5.2 Annual subscription. Annual subscriptions may be refunded within thirty days of purchase. The refundable amount equals the annual fee minus one month, which is considered used. After thirty days annual subscriptions are non-refundable, except where the ninety-day performance guarantee in Section 6 applies.

5.3 Credits and additional features. Any credit used is considered consumed and cannot be refunded. Promotional credits, complimentary access and Backlink Network credits are non-refundable and carry no monetary value.

6. Ninety-Day Performance Guarantee

6.1 The guarantee. Stone Rank Kft. is confident that Sorank produces measurable SEO results. If, after ninety days of active and continuous paid use of Sorank on a single website, that website shows no measurable improvement in its SEO data as defined in Section 6.2, Stone Rank Kft. refunds the subscription fees paid for that ninety-day period, subject to the eligibility conditions in Section 6.3. This guarantee is a voluntary commercial commitment offered in addition to any statutory rights the Client may have, and it does not limit the consumer rights described in Section 9.

6.2 How improvement is measured. SEO data improvement is measured objectively through the Client's Google Search Console account connected to Sorank, over the ninety-day period, for the pages published through Sorank. The website is considered to show improvement, and the guarantee therefore does not apply, if during the period at least one of the following occurs:

1. At least one page published through Sorank is indexed by Google.
2. The website records at least one impression in Google Search Console for content published through Sorank.

The guarantee applies only if both indexation and impressions remain at zero for Sorank-published content throughout the entire ninety-day period.

6.3 Eligibility conditions. The guarantee applies only if all of the following conditions are met for the full duration of the ninety-day period:

1. Active subscription. The Client has held an active, fully paid Sorank subscription for ninety consecutive days, with no pause, downgrade, cancellation, failed payment or chargeback. The period starts on the first paid day, after the free trial.
2. Content published. All content included in the subscription plan for each billing cycle has been generated through Sorank, published on the website via the connected content management system, and kept live for the entire period. Content must not be deleted, unpublished, set to "noindex" or substantially rewritten.
3. Search Console connected and verified. Google Search Console has been correctly set up, verified for the website and connected to Sorank for the entire period. The Client grants Stone Rank Kft. read access to the relevant Search Console data so that the claim can be verified. Without that verification the guarantee cannot be assessed.
4. Technically indexable website. The website has a valid XML sitemap submitted to Google; its content is accessible to search engine crawlers and is not a fully client-side rendered site that prevents crawling of the published pages; its robots.txt and page directives do not block indexing; and its pages return valid HTTP 200 responses and remain online throughout the period.
5. Domain in good standing. The domain is not subject to any Google manual action or penalty, has not been deindexed, is not a previously penalised, expired or spam domain, and hosts a genuine, lawful business website.
6. Single website. The guarantee is assessed per subscription and applies to one website only.
7. Claim window. The claim is submitted within thirty days after the end of the ninety-day period, and no later. One claim may be made per company.

6.4 What is refunded. If a claim is approved, Stone Rank Kft. refunds the subscription fees paid for the ninety-day period. The refund excludes any credits already consumed and any service ordered under a separate quotation. Backlinks obtained through the Backlink Network are a free optional extra and carry no monetary value, so they are neither refunded nor deducted, and the number obtained, including none, has no effect on the assessment of a claim. The refund is issued in accordance with Section 9.4.

6.5 Exclusions. The guarantee does not apply where any eligibility condition is not met, and in particular where the Client has not published, or has removed or altered, the Sorank content; where Search Console access for verification is not provided; where the website is technically unindexable on the Client's side, meaning the site is offline, blocked by robots.txt or meta directives, missing a sitemap, or fully client-side rendered; where the domain carries a Google penalty or has been deindexed or hacked; where a payment has failed or a chargeback has been filed; or where the information provided in support of the claim is inaccurate.

6.6 How to claim. The Client follows the procedure in Section 9 and, in addition, confirms that the eligibility conditions in Section 6.3 are met and grants the Search Console access required for verification.

7. Backlink Network

Backlinks obtained through the Backlink Network are a free optional extra offered in addition to the subscribed plan. They are not a paid deliverable, no part of the subscription price is allocated to them, and they are proposed only where a relevant match exists among participating Sorank customers. In certain industries no suitable match exists and the Client may receive no backlink at all. Links placed through the network run in one direction only and are never reciprocal; the network is not a link exchange.

Obtaining few backlinks or none at all does not entitle the Client to any refund, credit, price reduction or compensation, and is not a valid ground for a refund request under this policy or under the ninety-day performance guarantee in Section 6.

Stone Rank Kft. cannot guarantee rankings, traffic improvements or link longevity. The feature is off by default and is activated only where the Client gives a specific consent, as set out in Section 10 of the Terms of Use.

8. Services and Cancellation

8.1 Services under a quotation. A service delivered under a separate written quotation becomes non-refundable once the quotation has been validated by email and work has begun. If the Client cancels, all completed work and all costs incurred remain payable.

8.2 Cancelling a subscription. The Client may cancel at any time from the Sorank account. Cancellation stops auto-renewal for the next billing cycle. Amounts already paid are not refunded, except where the ninety-day performance guarantee in Section 6 applies, or where a statutory right of withdrawal applies under Section 9.

9. Refund Request Procedure and Consumer Rights

To request a refund, the Client contacts support (at) sorank.com and provides the invoice number, the purchase date and a clear explanation of the request.

Acknowledgment timeframe: within two business days. Processing timeframe: within seven business days. If a refund is approved, it is issued using the same payment method as the original purchase. No cash refunds or alternative payment methods are permitted.

9.1 Right of withdrawal. Under Articles 9 to 15 of Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers ordinarily benefit from a fourteen-day right of withdrawal when purchasing online.

9.2 Exception for digital content supplied immediately. In accordance with Article 16(m) of that Directive, this right does not apply to the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium, provided that all three of the following conditions are met:

1. The consumer has given prior express consent to the immediate performance of the service by ticking a dedicated, unpre-ticked box during the checkout process.
2. The consumer has acknowledged, in that same step, that such consent results in the loss of the right of withdrawal.
3. Stone Rank Kft. has sent the consumer a confirmation of that agreement by email following the purchase, on a durable medium.

9.3 Retention of the withdrawal right. If any of the above conditions has not been fulfilled, the consumer retains the right to withdraw within fourteen calendar days from the date of purchase, without giving any reason and without incurring any cost, by writing to support (at) sorank.com

9.4 Reimbursement. In the event of a valid withdrawal, Stone Rank Kft. reimburses the consumer within fourteen days using the same payment method originally used, unless the consumer expressly agrees otherwise.

9.5 Statutory guarantee. Nothing in this policy removes or restricts the legal guarantee of conformity of digital content and digital services owed to a consumer under Directive (EU) 2019/770, nor any other mandatory consumer right.

10. Payments, Failed Payments and Chargebacks

Access to the service may be suspended in case of failed payment or chargeback. Bank fees, investigation costs and reasonable administrative expenses linked to an unjustified chargeback may be invoiced to the Client. For business clients established in France, the statutory EUR 40 recovery fee applies, in addition to interest charged at the Hungarian Central Bank base rate plus 8% per year. This Section does not apply to consumers.

11. Special Cases

Billing errors. If caused by Stone Rank Kft., a correction, credit note or refund is issued.

Duplicate payments. Duplicate charges are refunded after verification.

Technical access issues. Occasional downtime does not qualify for a refund. A goodwill adjustment may be granted at the discretion of Stone Rank Kft.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This policy is governed by Hungarian law. Jurisdiction: the competent courts of Hungary.

Consumers. If the Client is a consumer, this policy does not deprive the Client of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the Client's country of residence, as provided by Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008. The Client may bring proceedings before the courts of that country, and may only be sued before those courts, in accordance with Articles 17 to 19 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012.
