Stone Rank Kft. does not sell, buy or broker backlinks, sponsored articles, guest posts or press placements, and does not operate a paid link marketplace. The Backlink Network described in Section 11 is a free feature that places one-directional contextual links between the sites of participating Sorank customers. It is not a link exchange and no link it places is reciprocal.
These Terms apply primarily to business customers. Individuals may subscribe, in which case the consumer provisions set out below apply in addition.
Client: any user purchasing a subscription or a service.
Platform: the Sorank software accessible online by subscription.
Credits: units consumed when using certain metered features.
Backlink Network: the free, optional feature described in Section 11 and in Section 10 of the Terms of Use, through which Sorank places one-directional, non-reciprocal contextual links between the sites of participating customers.
Services: any work delivered under a separate written quotation.
Creating an account is free and grants access to limited features. Access to paid features requires an active subscription or a free trial as set out in Section 6. The Client must provide accurate and up-to-date billing information, including a VAT number where applicable.
All prices displayed on the website and on the platform (app.sorank.com) are expressed in Euros, exclusive of tax.
Where applicable, Value Added Tax is added at the rate in force in the customer's country of residence or establishment at the time of purchase, in accordance with Council Implementing Regulation (EU) No 282/2011 as amended on the place of supply of electronically supplied services. The total amount including VAT, if any, is clearly displayed before payment confirmation.
For business customers established within the European Union and holding a valid VAT identification number, the reverse charge mechanism applies and no VAT is charged by Stone Rank Kft. For customers located outside the European Union, no VAT is charged.
Stone Rank Kft. may adjust pricing, features or subscription plans. Clients are informed by email with reasonable notice, and a Client who disagrees with a pricing update may cancel before the new prices take effect.
Subscription prices applicable at the time of purchase remain valid until renewal. Services are delivered on the basis of a written quotation accepted by email, which defines the schedule, deliverables and scope.
6.1 Duration and scope. New customers may start a free trial of three (3) calendar days giving full access to the features of the plan selected at sign-up. One trial per customer, per company and per website.
6.2 A payment card is required. Starting the trial requires a valid payment card, collected and stored by Stripe. No amount is charged during the trial.
6.3 Automatic conversion into a paid subscription. Unless the Client cancels before the end of the third day, the trial converts automatically into the paid subscription of the plan selected, and the card is charged for the first billing period at the price displayed at checkout before the order was confirmed. The subscription then renews automatically under Section 7.
6.4 Information given before the order. Before the Client confirms the start of the trial, the checkout page states the duration of the trial, the exact amount that will be charged at its end, the billing frequency, the fact that the subscription renews automatically and the way to cancel. The confirmation email sent when the trial starts repeats that information together with the date of the first charge.
6.5 Cancelling before the first charge. The Client may cancel at any moment during the trial, from the Subscription section of the dashboard, in one step and without giving a reason. Cancelling during the trial stops the conversion and no amount is charged. A cancellation request sent to support (at) sorank.com before the end of the third day is always honoured.
7.1 Subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Invoices are issued immediately after successful payment.
7.2 VAT rules. VAT is applied according to the Client's location and tax status:
All invoices are issued by Stone Rank Kft., Hungary.
Access is provided immediately upon subscription activation or upon the start of the free trial. Credits are deducted automatically when metered features are used.
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable. Annual subscriptions may be refunded within thirty days, covering unused months, the first month being considered consumed. The ninety-day performance guarantee set out in the Refund and Cancellation Policy applies in addition.
9.1 Right of withdrawal. Under Articles 9 to 15 of Directive 2011/83/EU, consumers ordinarily benefit from a fourteen-day right of withdrawal when purchasing online.
9.2 Exception for digital content supplied immediately. In accordance with Article 16(m) of that Directive, this right does not apply to the supply of digital content which is not supplied on a tangible medium, provided that all three of the following conditions are met:
9.3 Retention of the withdrawal right. If any of the above conditions has not been fulfilled, the consumer retains the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen calendar days from the date of purchase, without giving any reason and without incurring any cost, by writing to support (at) sorank.com
9.4 Reimbursement. In the event of a valid withdrawal, Stone Rank Kft. reimburses the consumer within fourteen days using the same payment method originally used, unless the consumer expressly agrees otherwise.
The Client agrees to provide accurate information, to use the platform in accordance with applicable laws, to refrain from reverse-engineering, altering or misusing it, and to cooperate where a service requires participation such as granting access, providing documents or issuing approvals.
The Backlink Network is a free optional feature of the subscription. It is not a deliverable, no part of the subscription price is allocated to it, and it is proposed only where relevant opportunities exist. It places contextual links in the published content of participating Sorank customers, on editorial relevance between the host content and the destination site.
It is not a link exchange. Each placement runs in one direction only. A site that links to the Client is not a site the Client links back to, no participating site is asked to link back in return for a link received, and Sorank does not arrange reciprocal, three-way or circular link arrangements.
It is disabled by default and is activated only where the Client gives a specific consent through a dedicated, unpre-ticked box in the account. The full terms of the feature, including the Client's warranty of authority over the site and the way search engines may treat the links, are set out in Section 10 of the Terms of Use and form an integral part of these Terms.
The Client acknowledges that availability depends on the participating sites at any given time and on the Client's industry, that in certain industries no suitable match exists and the Client may therefore receive no backlink at all, and that publication timelines, link permanence and indexation cannot be guaranteed.
Because the Backlink Network is a free addition and forms no part of the paid subscription, obtaining few backlinks or none at all does not entitle the Client to any refund, credit, price reduction or compensation, and is not a valid ground for a refund request under Section 9 or under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Stone Rank Kft. no longer sells backlinks, sponsored articles or media placements of any kind. Any offer of that nature made before the date of these Terms is discontinued.
The Sorank platform, its algorithms, database, software, design and all of its content are the exclusive property of Stone Rank Kft. The licence granted is non-exclusive, non-transferable, valid for the duration of the subscription and granted solely for the Client's internal use.
Sorank is the subject of European Union trade mark application No 019419475, filed with the EUIPO on 8 September 2026 in classes 9, 35 and 42.
Ownership of the content generated through the platform is governed by Section 9.4 of the Terms of Use.
SEO performance and visibility in AI systems depend on numerous external factors. Stone Rank Kft. offers no guarantee of results.
Stone Rank Kft. cannot be held liable for indirect damage, economic loss, data loss or reputational damage. Direct liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Client in the three (3) months preceding the incident.
These limitations do not apply in the event of wilful misconduct or gross negligence, in the event of death or personal injury, in the event of a breach of an essential obligation that deprives the contract of its substance, nor where the law applicable to a consumer prohibits them. Nothing in these Terms removes or restricts the statutory rights of a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity of digital content and digital services under Directive (EU) 2019/770.
Sorank aims for high availability but may undergo scheduled or unscheduled maintenance. Support is provided through the contact page and by email, with a target response within one business day. No uptime guarantee is provided unless specified in a separate agreement.
Stone Rank Kft. processes personal data necessary for account management, billing, customer support and platform usage analytics. Details are provided in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. The Client must comply with applicable data protection law, including the GDPR where applicable.
Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Failure to pay or a breach of these Terms may result in suspension or termination. For Services, termination conditions follow the quotation; completed work and expenses incurred remain payable.
Neither party is liable for failures caused by external, unforeseeable events, including major technical failures, cyberattacks, natural disasters, regulatory decisions and third-party outages.
Stone Rank Kft. may update these Terms. Material changes are communicated by email with reasonable notice, and continued use after that notice constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. Any dispute shall be resolved by the competent courts of Hungary, after an attempt at amicable resolution.
Consumers. If the Client is a consumer, these Terms do not deprive the Client of the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of the Client's country of residence, as provided by Article 6(2) of Regulation (EC) No 593/2008. The Client may bring proceedings before the courts of that country, and may only be sued before those courts, in accordance with Articles 17 to 19 of Regulation (EU) No 1215/2012.
