Our ranking of the 10 best podcast consultants in France in 2027, checked one by one, with references, published prices, ranking method and limits.

In short
Mélanie Hong is the most complete profile among the best podcast consultants in France for working on a podcast's strategy and earning revenue from it: a former head of customer relations at Ausha, she names clients such as Natixis and Doctolib and publishes the price of her flagship offer. Maud Calves is a better fit for a documentary podcast written by a journalist, Gaël Aymard for a B2B leader who wants their podcast to bring in business, and Jean-Louis Le Corvoisier for an organisation that wants an episode produced at a published price. The right choice depends first on what you expect: learning to produce yourself, delegating production, or making an existing podcast work harder.

Choosing among the best podcast consultants in France means handing your audio project to one person, or a duo, who designs, advises and often produces the work personally. The supply your podcast joins is huge: the French media regulator Arcom estimates the French-language catalogue at more than 10 million episodes and more than 100,000 series, according to its podcast observatory published in July 2025. Being heard in that volume takes a clear editorial line, clean sound and distribution planned from the start. This ranking brings together ten independent consultants and micro-studios, checked one by one, and says for each which project they suit.
An independent podcast consultant is both your point of contact and the person who does the work. Framing, writing, recording, editing or training all go through them, with no project manager between you and your episodes.
This format has three advantages: contact is direct, the budget is often lower than at an agency, and the person who advised you is the one holding the microphone or sitting at the mixing desk. It also has two limits: an independent rarely produces several ambitious series at the same time, and their absence stops production. Several profiles on this list rely on a network of voice actors, sound engineers or composers to address this.
If you want a fiction series with actors, several podcasts in parallel or a distribution campaign with paid media, an agency team is often a better fit. Our ranking of the best podcast agencies in France covers that case.
Five criteria, in this order, applied only to what each consultant publishes on their own site. Every site on this list was reviewed on 16 October 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days.
1. Podcasting is the core business. Profiles that present podcasting as their central activity come before those that list it among video, social media or general communication.
2. Proof you can check yourself. Named clients, signed testimonials, podcasts you can listen to, a Qualiopi certification or an award given by an external jury count for more than a listening figure shown without a source.
3. An offer you can read before the first call. A published price, named packages, training durations or a clear explanation of what is delivered.
4. Fit with a type of project. We kept profiles that serve different needs (strategy, documentary, training, studio, event podcasts) and said which ones.
5. Real, independent activity. A live website, the person's name displayed, an outfit of one to three people who carry out the work themselves. Agencies already featured in our ranking of podcast agencies, and outfits whose size we could not verify, were left out.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not repeat the listening figures, student numbers or project counts published by the consultants, because there is no way to verify them from outside. Rankings published by a consultant on their own site did not count as proof. We did not listen to or assess any client podcast.
Mélanie Hong is a podcast strategist under the Bonjour Podcast brand. An employment lawyer at the Paris Bar from 2013 to 2017, she trained in sound creation, produced several podcasts between 2018 and 2020, then ran customer relations at the hosting platform Ausha in 2020 and 2021 before devoting herself to her own business. Bonjour Podcast, created in 2019 as a training organisation, now offers consulting and production. She names clients: Natixis, Doctolib, Christie's France, the City of Poitiers and the Fondation Face. Her flagship offer is published with its price: the Podcast Signature Day, two live half-days followed by 30 days of remote follow-up, at €1,800 excl. VAT. She writes that she works with no more than three people a month, and produces only one to three corporate series a year, with a team she does not name. Her site publishes nine named testimonials from women podcasters.
Best for: women creators and experts who already have a podcast and want to clarify their positioning and earn revenue from it, and companies that want a corporate series guided by a strategist who knows the platforms from the inside. With three slots a month, expect to wait before starting.

Maud Calves is a radio journalist, trained at Radio France, who creates impact podcasts under the name Autochtone Studio. She has reported from Latin America, Eastern Europe and the Balkans, and her podcast Autochtone received the Prix du podcast de Strasbourg in 2024. She handles a project from field reporting through to distribution, trains individuals, companies and communication departments (a course eligible for OPCO funding, the French training funds) and also creates soundscapes for photo exhibitions. She names many clients and partners: Électriciens sans Frontières, Generali, Assurance Maladie (the French national health insurance) with the TBWA agency, René Furterer, the IUT de Bourges and the studio Madame Black Bow. Her site publishes named testimonials, including one from the co-founder of Madame Black Bow Productions. Her prices are not published: she offers a free 30-minute first conversation.
Best for: companies, foundations and institutions that want a documentary or reportage podcast, written by a journalist, on a social or advocacy topic. For a low-budget weekly interview format, a more production-oriented profile will do.

Gaël Aymard runs Podcast Mania, a sole proprietorship based in Trébeurden, in Côtes-d'Armor, and works between Brittany and Paris with Laura, whom the site presents by her first name only. His angle is precise: helping B2B leaders and entrepreneurs turn their podcast into a medium that brings them visibility, a network and sales opportunities. The offer is split into three clear steps: the Diagnostic Actif Média (a 45-minute call to understand why a podcast is not producing results), the Journée Architecte Podcast, then the Pilotage Actif Média over time. A free nine-question questionnaire lets you assess where you stand before the first call. The site publishes six named testimonials from podcasters, such as Enzo Colucci (Phénix) and Stéphane Paradis (Moments Gustave, in Montreal). His prices are not published.
Best for: B2B leaders, consultants and independents who have already launched a podcast and want it to serve their sales activity. If you are starting from scratch and mainly need a studio to record in, other profiles on this list are a better fit.

Carine Fillot founded Elson, a podcast training organisation and sound creation studio run by her company Hack the Radio, in Paris. Elson states that it has been teaching podcasting since 2018 and displays the Qualiopi certification, which French professional training funds require before they finance a course. The catalogue is published with durations: Sprint Podcast (28 hours, from beginner to autonomy), Slow Podcast (20 hours of advanced training), Sprint Podcast Entreprise (21 hours to design a podcast as a team), a documentary programme of up to 46 hours and workshops for young audiences. Carine Fillot is the lead trainer and produces her own audio documentaries, such as Nos chaînons invisibles, about adoption and the search for one's origins. She also runs Oreilles Curieuses, a listening committee that recommends French-language podcasts. Prices are not published; the site shows individual Google reviews.
Best for: communication teams and authors who want to learn to produce themselves, with a course that can be funded. If you want to delegate all of the production, this format will leave most of the work to you.

Jérémy Nabais and Xavier Seux founded Echoes Studio, a company (SAS) based in Pontault-Combault, in Seine-et-Marne, which presents itself as the studio that helps entrepreneurs launch a podcast that pays off. The offer combines a group programme (Podcasteurs-Entrepreneurs), a mentoring programme that includes 10 hours of one-to-one support, and tailored offers for companies. Echoes displays the Qualiopi certification for its training activities. The site shows the logos of FDJ, Intersport, IÉSEG and CEG under a line about organisations that launched their podcast with them, and presents podcasts it has supported such as Les experts comptables de demain and L'Écho des futurs, by Futuribles. Programme prices are not published and the site quotes no written testimonial.
Best for: entrepreneurs and independents who want a group framework to launch their podcast and connect it to their business, as well as schools and organisations that want to train a team. On the first call, ask how much one-to-one follow-up the chosen programme includes.

Marie Leynaud and Mathilde Police-Malnis run Deuxième écoute, a limited company (SARL) based in Brindas, near Lyon. Former classmates, they worked as journalists for local and then national media (Le Progrès, La Provence, TLM, the Marie Claire group, RCF, RTL, Gala) before moving into digital communication and media agencies. They position themselves between a production studio and a digital marketing agency: branded podcasts, event hosting and team training, with tracking of the results. Their references page shows the logos of local authorities and companies in the region and links to Saint-Priest, le podcast, distributed on Ausha. Their prices are not published.
Best for: local authorities, foundations and companies in Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes that want a branded podcast written by journalists, with attention paid to its distribution. Clients are not named in full: on the first call, ask for episodes you can listen to.

Jeane Clesse is an independent podcaster and environmental law specialist. In 2017, in Hong Kong, she launched Basilic, a podcast about ecological initiatives that has more than 200 episodes. She now supports independents and companies that want to launch a purpose-driven podcast, in two ways: Basilic Studio, a group programme with personalised mentoring, and Basilic Lab, a tailored creation offer for brands, which she delivers with a team of sound engineers. She also offers formats dedicated to heritage and to therapists. Her site shows the logos of Le Monde, Madame Figaro, Elle and Vanity Fair under a line about media that have covered her, but no named client. Prices are on quotation.
Best for: people running ecological or impact projects, and therapists or independents who want to learn to keep a podcast going over time with someone who has done it. The length of the group programme differs between pages of the site: have it confirmed before you sign up.

Jean-Louis Le Corvoisier works as a self-employed professional under the name L'Atelier du Podcast. A radio journalist for 20 years, he now heads Radio Neptune, where he produces and edits features and magazine programmes, and has trained professionals in media training and public speaking since 2009. He is the only one in this ranking to publish a price per episode, in three all-inclusive packages, excluding travel costs: Interview at €290 excl. VAT (up to 15 minutes), Story at €490 excl. VAT and Reportage at €690 excl. VAT (up to 10 minutes each), with recording, editing and custom sound branding. He has a radio studio equipped with six microphones and a mobile studio, and offers tailored training courses whose price is not published. His site cites no client and no testimonial.
Best for: associations, local authorities and SMEs that want an episode produced by a radio professional, at a price known in advance. The absence of published references means you should ask for episodes to listen to before ordering.

Bastien Nicolaï created Studio Podcast Montpellier after more than three years as a sound engineer and artistic director for audiobooks, working alongside voice actors. He supports companies, associations and local authorities from design to distribution, records in his studio with a sound engineer present, handles the mixing, and connects clients with voice actors, musicians and sound designers. He also offers audiobooks, testing and equipment rental, and teaches at a communication school whose name is not given. His site publishes three named testimonials, including those of Marine Aubonnet, creator of the podcast La Cohorte, and Paul Engel, creator of La France Baladeuse. Services are on quotation.
Best for: podcasters and organisations in Occitanie that want professional-quality sound and a studio to record in. For an advanced editorial or distribution strategy, add a profile ranked higher on this list.

Etienne Boutot designs and produces podcasts under the name Britz Productions, a sole proprietorship based in Brive, in Corrèze. A former web developer, he started podcasting in 2020. He produces two types of projects: branded podcasts, for which he draws on a network of voice actors, composers, sound engineers and radio hosts, and event podcasts (weddings, company parties, trade shows, retirements). He is a writer and coordinator for Podcast Magazine, co-hosts a show on the local radio station Bréniges FM and presents several productions, including Micro-Cravate, two seasons devoted to personal data protection and then to the dangers of the internet for children. He publishes neither prices nor testimonials.
Best for: companies and individuals in Corrèze and Limousin who want an event podcast or a first branded series with a contact close to home. The productions do not always say who commissioned them: ask for client contacts on the first call.

Four points to raise on the first call, whoever the consultant is.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It is based on public information. We read what each consultant publishes and checked that each site was live on 16 October 2026. We did not listen to any client podcast or confirm any result. A consultant who communicates little and produces very well will be underrated here.
It does not know your project. The right person for a documentary series about a foundation is rarely the right one to train an SME's communication team to record on its own. The Best for lines matter more than the rank number. If your project needs a full team, see our ranking of podcast agencies in France instead.
It ages. Independents' prices, offers and availability change quickly. Check on the consultant's site before you sign.
A podcast consultant chooses the angle of a series, prepares a guest, directs a voice and decides what stays in the edit. These decisions require an ear and a knowledge of your audience. Yet once an episode is published, it remains hard to find in Google and in AI assistants, which read text far more than they listen to audio.
That is the part Sorank takes care of: the platform finds the questions your audience is asking, writes and publishes articles optimised for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Several brands combine the two: the consultant for the podcast, the software so that the topics of your episodes are also found in writing.
The best podcast consultant is the one whose usual projects resemble yours. To work on a podcast's strategy and monetisation, Mélanie Hong offers the broadest experience and the most verifiable references. For an impact documentary, Maud Calves. For a B2B leader who wants sales results, Gaël Aymard. To learn to produce with a fundable course, Carine Fillot. And for an episode at a price known in advance, Jean-Louis Le Corvoisier is the most transparent.
The prices published by the consultants in this ranking range from €290 excl. VAT for a turnkey interview episode to €690 excl. VAT for a reportage episode, excluding travel costs. A strategy day with follow-up is published at €1,800 excl. VAT. Most of the other consultants prepare a quote based on the number of episodes, the format and the share of production they take on.
A consultant suits you when you want a single point of contact who designs and often produces the work personally, for one series at a time or to learn to produce in-house. An agency becomes a better fit for fiction with actors, several series in parallel or a distribution campaign with paid media, which require a full team.
Listen to at least two episodes they have produced for a client, ask for named clients you can contact and read the signed testimonials. For training you want funded through French professional training schemes, check the Qualiopi certification. Finally, insist that the podcast's hosting account and RSS feed are in your name from the first episode.
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU
