Ranking of the 10 best SEO consultants in Paris in 2026: 10 profiles with a Paris address, published offers, our method and the limits of this review.

On this page
In short
Drift Digital ranks first: a Paris agency in the 9th arrondissement that offers SEO, local SEO pages and web design, with a free performance audit and 43 reviews rated 5.0 shown on its site. Jonathan Cappe and Aymeric Maingé suit a company that wants a single senior freelancer for SEO, the first with 20 years of experience claimed and the second with a free audit within 48 hours. Webloom is the pick if you also buy Google Ads from the same firm, and METIX needs the most checking because its Paris address is a registered office. Whether you need a team or one person, and whether SEO is all you buy, should decide the choice more than the rank.

Choosing among the best SEO consultants in Paris means handing your search visibility to one person or a small team, not to a large agency with layers of account managers. The website is the asset SEO works on, and in France the share of small firms that have one is far from universal: in 2023, 65% of French firms with fewer than 50 employees had a website, against 76% across the European Union, according to Insee's publication "Entreprises de l'UE et outils numériques" (Insee Références, 14 October 2025). This page ranks the consultants and small agencies with a Paris address that a local business can hire directly, and says what each one publishes about itself.
A Paris business that hires an SEO consultant usually wants a contact who can meet in person, knows which districts and local searches matter, and can explain the work in French. A local address is a useful sign of that, but it is only a sign, and we treat it as one below.
The local economy gives the context. According to Insee's regional review "L'économie francilienne en 2025" (Insee Conjoncture Île-de-France no. 59, published 9 April 2026), salaried employment in Paris fell 0.3% between the end of 2024 and the end of 2025, a decline the review attributes in part to difficulties in information and communication, a sector where employment fell 2.3% across Île-de-France. This is context, not a verdict: it does not tell you which consultant is good, which is why the rest of this page relies on the four criteria below.
Four fears come up when a Paris business hires an SEO consultant, and each one shapes the criteria used in this ranking.
We fixed four criteria before looking at which firms would come first. Only firms whose own site shows an address, an office or a team in Paris were considered, from the top ten to the honorable mentions. National agencies with no Paris office were left out. Each site was read on 5 November 2026, and only what the firm publishes about itself was used.
1. SEO is the core business. Firms that present SEO as their main work come before those that list it among several services.
2. Proof you can check on the site. Named clients, published reviews, dated years of activity or a diploma count for more than a bare claim.
3. An offer you can read before the first call. A free audit, a published fee or a clear quote process.
4. A Paris address and an identifiable person or team. A registered office address counts, but the profile says so when it is the only Paris link.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not repeat results statistics that come without a source, such as average ROI figures or shares of online behaviour. We did not treat "leader" or "#1" claims as facts, and report them only as the firm's own words. We did not audit any site or verify any result.
Each profile gives the address shown on the site, what the firm says it does, and who it suits best.

Drift Digital is a digital marketing agency whose site gives its address as 2 rue Chaptal, in the 9th arrondissement. It presents website creation, natural referencing (SEO, including local SEO and location pages), paid referencing and what it calls AI referencing. It shows a 5.0 rating from 43 reviews and offers a free digital performance audit.
Best for: a small or mid-sized business that wants SEO and a website handled by one agency, with local SEO and location pages. SEO shares the homepage with web design and paid ads, so ask who runs the SEO work day to day and what it covers.
Jonathan Cappe presents himself as an SEO and GEO consultant and trainer, with an office address at 51 rue Notre-Dame de Nazareth in the 3rd arrondissement. He says he has 20 years of experience and calls himself a pioneer of GEO, the optimisation of visibility in AI assistants. His site claims 5/5 across more than 140 missions and more than 70 reviews rated 5/5, and lists clients such as Chanel, Accor and Puma. His method starts with a discovery video call, then a quote and launch.
Best for: companies that want a senior freelancer for technical SEO, semantics and backlinks, and that value training their own team. He is a one-person practice, and no fee appears on his site, so the quote comes after the first call.

AD-TechParis, run by Aymeric Maingé, is a freelance SEO consultant whose site gives an address at 3 rue de Picpus in the 12th arrondissement. He says he has practised SEO since 2013 and holds an Expert SEO licence from The Bridge (2021). His offer covers technical SEO for e-commerce, local SEO, netlinking, international SEO and GEO. The site announces a free SEO audit within 48 hours with no commitment, and claims 60% more organic traffic in 12 months on business pages, without naming the client.
Best for: small e-commerce sites and Paris businesses that want a freelancer for technical SEO with a fast, free first audit. He works in Paris, across Île-de-France and remotely. The traffic figure is the site's own claim with no client named, so ask for a reference you can contact.

Webloom describes itself as a premium SEO, GEO and Google Ads agency and gives its address as 128 rue La Boétie in the 8th arrondissement. The site says it has more than €31 million under Google Ads management and that its consultants are augmented by proprietary AI. It offers a free audit through an appointment and states that its fees are transparent for each need, SEO, GEO and SEA, but the text we captured gives no amounts.
Best for: businesses that buy SEO and Google Ads together and want one agency for both. Google Ads takes a large place next to SEO on the site, so ask which person leads the SEO work and what is budgeted for SEO on its own.

SEO Hackers is an SEO agency at 37 rue des Mathurins in the 8th arrondissement, and its own title calls it a "5-star SEO agency". Its services cover SEO audits, SEO strategy, e-commerce SEO, SEO for AI assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, netlinking, SEO training, migrations and redesigns, Google Discover and international SEO. The site names co-founder Mathieu Gheerbrant and has a case study section.
Best for: companies that want an SEO-only agency with a team behind the work, including migrations and e-commerce projects. No fee appears in the text we captured, so ask for a written scope and for the name of the person who carries it out.

OSCAR is a small SEO and GEO agency at 58 rue Greneta in the 2nd arrondissement. It says it was founded in 2018 and has a team of four. Its services run from natural referencing and AI referencing to local SEO, Google Ads, web writing, netlinking, landing pages and UX, and the site publishes case studies and SEO advice.
Best for: small businesses that want a small agency team and case studies to read before they call. No fee appears in the text we captured, so the first call should cover price and scope.

Sandra Doucet is a freelance SEO consultant and website creator, with an address at 200 rue de la Croix Nivert in the 15th arrondissement. She works on WordPress, Shopify and Wix sites and offers SEO audits, SEO copywriting and redesigns. Her site claims more than 8 years of experience and more than 450 projects, with a 5/5 Google rating, and it serves independents, craftsmen, small businesses and liberal professions in France and abroad. Her homepage invites visitors to estimate their budget.
Best for: independents and local businesses that want a website and its SEO handled by one person, starting with a budget step. The 5/5 rating is shown without a count of reviews, and the project count does not separate website work from SEO work, so ask for references.

Lucio Laria is a trilingual freelance SEO consultant with an address at 203 rue de Charenton in the 12th arrondissement. His focus includes international SEO and SaaS, and the services he lists cover audits, strategy, redesigns and migrations, technical SEO, content strategy, netlinking, local SEO and training. His homepage calls him "#1 de France", which is his own claim. He says he has four years of SEO consulting experience, 5/5 from more than 30 companies, and that 100% of his clients are satisfied with their results.
Best for: SaaS companies that need a trilingual freelancer focused on sales and return on investment, including in other markets. The "#1" and "100%" claims come without a source, and four years is the shortest stated experience in this top ten, so ask for named references.

Marie-Eline Chevance is a freelance SEO and GEO consultant with an address at 3 rue Darmesteter in the 13th arrondissement. Her site says she holds an MBA in digital marketing, works in French and in English, and offers remote missions across France. She describes her earlier experience in agencies, and her services include technical audits, keyword research, page optimisation and SEO writing training.
Best for: small businesses that want a freelancer who explains the work and can take English-language projects. The site gives few figures to check, so ask for references and examples before you decide.

METIX presents itself as a Paris SEO consultant with more than 10 years of experience and an "expert certified" label, but names no certification. Its site gives an address at 66 avenue des Champs-Élysées in the 8th arrondissement, which is a registered office (domiciliation), not necessarily a place where the work is done. It offers a full SEO audit, on-page optimisation, content strategy, quality netlinking, local SEO and reporting, and invites visitors to request a free audit. The homepage also prints statistics without a source, such as "+200% average ROI", which we do not repeat here.
Best for: small local businesses that want a one-to-one freelancer and a free audit before committing. Ask where the work is done, which certification is meant and who issued it, and check the reporting before you sign.

Three questions to put on the first call, whoever you choose.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It is based on public information. We read what each firm publishes and used only that. We did not audit any site or confirm any result, and a consultant who communicates little but delivers well will be underrated here.
It does not know your budget or your sector. The right consultant for a national e-commerce catalogue is rarely the right one for a tradesperson. The Best for lines matter more than the rank number.
It covers Paris addresses only, and it ages. Agencies in Levallois-Perret, Boulogne-Billancourt or Montreuil were left out, even though they may serve Paris clients, because their own sites show no Paris address. Reviews, offers and team sizes change, so check each site before you sign.
An agency or consultant makes judgement calls that a tool cannot: which pages to rewrite first, which links to refuse, and when a site redesign will cost rankings unless it is planned. That work needs someone who reads your business and answers for the result.
Sorank is software, not an agency. After an audit of your site, the platform finds your keywords, writes and publishes articles optimised for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. To talk it through, you can book a call at sorank.com/call.
The best SEO consultant in Paris is the one whose team size and service mix match your project. For a small business that wants one person who knows its site, Aymeric Maingé, with a free audit within 48 hours, and Sandra Doucet, who invites visitors to estimate their budget, are the simplest starting points. For SEO handled by a team, SEO Hackers and Drift Digital fit better, and for a company that also buys Google Ads, Webloom is the one to compare. Before you choose, put the three questions above to each of them in writing. For a wider view of how to choose a provider, read our agency guide.
These other Paris providers, noted during this review, are presented based on what they publish on their own site, without verification on our part.

This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Ask for the name of the person who runs the audit and the monthly work, and whether anyone else touches your pages or links. The consultant who sells the engagement should be the one who opens your site each week.
A Paris address on a website can be a registered office or a mail service. Ask whether the team works from it and whether you can meet in person before you sign.
Ask for a written scope, the deliverables, the reporting frequency and the notice period. Some profiles here offer a free audit, others only a discovery call, so the written quote may come after the first meeting.
