In short
Cavalcade tops our ranking of the best advertising agencies in Geneva for brands that want campaign ideas, with offices in Lausanne and Geneva and clients such as Swissquote, CGN and Swisscaution. Easy & Félix suits companies that want one independent team for brand strategy, media and design, Cinetic Creatives fits watch brands that need films as well as advertising, and Grand Imperial is a strong choice for organisations that want branding and mediaplanning from the same team. The deciding criterion is not how many awards an agency displays, it is whether it names its clients, shows its work and tells you how a project starts.

Choosing among the best advertising agencies in Geneva means choosing a partner for a city where a campaign is read in French and judged by local buyers who also see advertising from France and the rest of Switzerland. Swiss net advertising sales show the scale: according to the Stiftung Werbestatistik Schweiz, net advertising revenue recorded in Switzerland fell from 4142 million CHF in 2024 to 4089 million CHF in 2025, according to the foundation's overview, whose 2026 edition was released on 19 May 2026.
A Geneva campaign is read by people who compare it with what they see in France and in the rest of Switzerland, and who expect a tone that fits French-speaking Geneva. A local agency knows which institutions are sensitive, which claims need proof, and which team can run the work on the ground. A ranking of agencies that really work in the city therefore starts with an address, a team and named projects, not with reach claims.
The money at stake is large and shifting. In an article of 27 May 2025, Swiss public broadcaster SRF reported that US tech platforms earned between 1.9 and 2.4 billion francs from advertising in Switzerland, against about 2 billion for Swiss media including their own online advertising. SRF presents the platform figures as estimates, because those companies publish no Swiss advertising figures. For a Geneva brand, that means a local agency should be able to explain how it measures results on platforms it does not control.
Four fears come up again and again when a Geneva company hires an advertising agency. Each one can be checked on the agency's own site or in a first meeting.
1. Paying for a Geneva label without a Geneva team. Some agencies put a city in their name or title but run the work from elsewhere. Ask which people will work on your account, where they are based, and whether they have delivered campaigns in the city.
2. A campaign that does not speak to a Geneva audience. A message built for another market can miss the French-speaking tone, the local references and the institutions a Geneva buyer trusts. Ask for examples aimed at Geneva or at French-speaking Switzerland before you brief the team.
3. Being sold a senior team and handed a junior one. The people who pitch are not always the people who produce the work. Ask who will be on the account after the signature, and who will approve each file.
4. Claims that cannot be proven. Swiss unfair-competition rules apply to misleading advertising, and a campaign that promises results it cannot support exposes the brand, not only the agency. Ask who checks each claim before it goes live.
Four criteria, in this order, fixed before we checked which agencies meet them. They apply only to what each agency publishes about itself. Agencies with no Geneva address, office or team shown on their own site were excluded, even when well known.
1. Advertising or communication as the core business. Agencies that show campaigns, media planning or advertising come first. Pure web or SEO shops are not part of this ranking.
2. A Geneva address, office or team on the site. Cavalcade and Acanthis Communication work from two cities, and their Geneva link is shown on their own sites.
3. Named clients or a distinction on a campaign. Client names, case studies and awards that the agency attributes to a specific campaign count. Numbers an agency gives about itself, such as team size or follower counts, are reported as its own claim.
4. A readable offer. The site lists its services and a published way to start, such as a call, a form, a quote request or an invitation to send a brief.
The texts come from each agency's own website, as collected in November 2026. We plan to review this page every 90 days, because the Geneva market changes as agencies merge, move offices or close.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not rank by award counts, follower numbers or growth figures displayed on the sites, since none of them can be checked from the outside. We did not rank by team size, and we did not audit any campaign, speak to any client or verify a result.

Cavalcade describes itself as an advertising and communication agency in Lausanne and Geneva that makes unexpected campaigns. Its homepage lists project categories for film, print, digital and social media, and names Swissquote, CGN and Swisscaution among its clients. The text we read shows no booking form or quote request, so ask how to start.
Best for: brands that want campaign ideas across film, print and digital, with offices in both Lausanne and Geneva. Ask which of the two teams would run a Geneva project.

Easy & Félix calls itself an independent advertising agency in Geneva, with 30 people (its own figure). Its homepage covers brand strategy, media plans, design and packaging, editing, web and webmarketing, and names HI-MACS and Teisseire among its clients. It invites visitors to send a brief.
Best for: companies that want one independent team for strategy, media and creation. Because the agency covers many trades, ask who leads your project and how the work is split.

EtienneEtienne describes itself as a Geneva communication agency that designs 360 campaigns across print, digital, film and branding. Its homepage presents an influence campaign for free public transport in Geneva for Unireso, the 25th anniversary of Pedibus and a 360 campaign for workplace health for OCIRT. It also shows a nomination at the Meilleur de la Pub 2025 for the Unireso and Pedibus campaigns, a distinction the agency attributes to them.
Best for: public bodies, associations and non-profits that need a campaign with a public message. The site shows less work for private brands, so ask for examples if you are one.

Grand Imperial describes itself as a creative communication agency based in Geneva, specialised in branding, advertising, digital strategy and mediaplanning. Its services also include art direction, UX design, press relations and events. Its homepage names projects for the City of Geneva, the Geneva University Hospitals and the Caribana Festival.
Best for: Geneva organisations that want branding and a media plan from the same team, including public and health clients. The homepage shows project names without results, so ask for the case studies behind them.

Cinetic Creatives is a Geneva-based creative house where advertising, cinema and experience design come together. Its homepage lists projects for EBEL, MB&F, Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger-LeCoultre and MIDO, features video, and links to a contact page.
Best for: watch and luxury brands that want films and experiences as well as advertising. Ask early for the production process and a typical budget range, since the homepage shows no prices.

Agence Gardeners is a creative and digital communication agency with a Geneva office at La Praille (Carouge) and another in Annecy (Poisy). It describes itself as one of the largest teams of experts in branding, communication strategy, web and e-commerce, advertising and digital activation in the France and Switzerland area, which is its own claim. Its site has a projects page and an awards page.
Best for: clients in Geneva and Annecy who want branding, web and advertising from one agency. The awards page is the place to check the work behind the claim, and asking which projects the Geneva team led is a fair test.

Akesso Agency describes itself as a Geneva creative agency of ten specialists in marketing, strategy, photography, video and community management, all based in Geneva. Its homepage presents its work for the L'Odéon brasserie, whose social channels it took over and whose community it says grew from about 1000 to nearly 4500 followers, and for Coca-Cola. It offers a direct quote request and an FAQ.
Best for: Geneva businesses that want social media, photo, video and online advertising from one team, with a quote request on the homepage. The follower growth is the agency's own figure, so ask how it reports results.

Acanthis Communication describes itself as a communication, digital marketing and graphic design agency based in Nyon and Geneva. Its homepage lists projects for Léman Pass, Harley-Davidson, Cap sur la Praille, Genève Avenue and the Republic and Canton of Geneva, and covers advertising, branding, video and web development. The text we read shows no contact form or quote request, so ask how to start.
Best for: companies in Geneva and Nyon that want advertising, branding and web from one team, with several local clients named. Ask how the Nyon and Geneva teams share the work.

EcoVisuel is a communication agency that describes itself as expert in positive communication, helping clients express their social and environmental values. Its services include editorial design, visual identity, signage, advertising, press ads and social media. Its homepage names the Nairobi Convention (UNEP), the UN Office on Drugs and Crime and the Théâtre de l'Orangerie among its clients, and lists a phone number with the Geneva area code.
Best for: organisations with a social or environmental mission, including international bodies and cultural events, that want print and visual identity as well as digital. The homepage has a "start your project" button and a phone number.

Freshmilk is a digital agency in Geneva, active since 2019. It describes itself as one team of seven experts covering websites, branding, SEO, Google Ads and video, with more than 200 projects (its own figures). Its homepage names Richemont, Mandarin Oriental Geneva and Crédit Agricole, next bank Switzerland among its clients, and it has a contact link.
Best for: Geneva brands that want a digital campaign, a website and video from the same team. Freshmilk works mainly in digital, so if you need print or outdoor advertising, confirm that the team delivers it.
The criteria below were chosen before checking who wins them, and each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own site as of November 2026. When a site does not show a piece of information, the cell says so rather than guessing.

Read the "Not shown" cells as a gap on the homepage, not a lack of competence. Several of these agencies almost certainly serve more clients than their homepage shows, and the honest way to find out is to ask them directly.
Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any case study, and each one matches one of the fears above.
1. Who in the Geneva team will run the account day to day, and will they be the people who pitch? Ask for names, and for the number of accounts each person already manages. A team that cannot name its account lead before the signature is a warning sign.
2. Who approves each file, and how are claims checked before they go live? Ask to see the approval steps and one campaign that went through them. Claims about results, prices or comparisons need a source on file before publication.
3. Which result will be measured, and against what starting point? Agree before the start on one or two indicators you already track, such as enquiries, sales or branded searches, and record their level on day one. Without a baseline, no report can show whether the campaign worked.
Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.
It is built only on public information. We read what each agency publishes and checked that the sites were online in November 2026. We did not audit any campaign, interview any client or verify a result. An agency that communicates little and delivers well will be underrated here.
It cannot know your brief. A watch brand, a public health message and a restaurant launch need different teams, so the Best for lines matter more than the order.
It ages. Agencies in Geneva open, merge, move and close, and the Swiss market figures change from year to year. We plan to review this page every 90 days, as the method explains.
This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software on everything that requires understanding a city and its audience: knowing which local partners are credible, which message will land with French-speaking buyers, and when a campaign needs a human decision rather than another test. None of that is automatable today, and anyone who claims otherwise is selling you something.
Sorank works on the search and content side of the same question. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site, and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give about your category. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.
If you want a single recommendation: Cavalcade if you want campaign ideas across film, print and digital, Easy & Félix if you want one independent team for strategy, media and design, Cinetic Creatives if your brand needs films and experiences, and Akesso Agency if you want social media, photo and video from a Geneva team that takes quote requests on its homepage.
Before you ask what an agency promises, ask who will do the work and how it approves, reports and measures results. The Geneva agencies on this list that name their clients and their team are the ones to meet first. To compare agencies with other options before you choose, read our agency guide.
The Geneva market has more names than a top 10 can hold. Here are other agencies with a Geneva address, office or team shown on their own site.

This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Ask for names, and for the number of accounts each person already manages. A team that cannot name its account lead before the signature is a warning sign.
Ask to see the approval steps and one campaign that went through them. Claims about results, prices or comparisons need a source on file before publication.
Agree before the start on one or two indicators you already track, such as enquiries, sales or branded searches, and record their level on day one. Without a baseline, no report can show whether the campaign worked.
