In short
Funkkis tops our ranking of the best advertising agencies in Helsinki for small and mid-sized companies that need brand strategy, identity and advertising from one team. Don & Branco suits brands that want a visual identity, WordPress sites and paid social together, and 358 is the stronger pick when the brief starts from consumer insight, identity and packaging. Dirty Agency fits bold campaigns and guerrilla ideas, i2 fits launches that must run across several markets with a team in Helsinki and Tampere, Blink Helsinki fits growth marketing tied to leads and sales, and Evenrue fits Finnish companies that want paid search and social measured against sales, with an entry price published at 690 euros per month. The deciding criterion is not the client figure an agency shows. It is whether the agency tells you who will work on your account and how results will be measured.

Choosing among the best advertising agencies in Helsinki is harder than it looks, because many homepages in the city use the same vocabulary: creative, strategic, results-driven. Before comparing them, it helps to know the market they sell into. In 2025, media advertising in Finland reached 1261 million euros, down 0.7 percent from 2024, according to the Finnish news media association Uutismedian liitto, which publishes the monthly monitoring carried out by Kantar Media (Uutismediat, 30 January 2026).
This ranking covers agencies that state a Helsinki base on their own websites, read in November 2026. It does not measure campaign results, and it does not replace a conversation with the agencies that interest you.
A Helsinki agency is not automatically the right one, but a local base is a sensible place to start. A team in the city can meet you in person and plans for the Finnish audience from the first brief. Those are reasons to look locally first, not proof of quality, which is why the rest of this page is about what each agency shows.
The national figures explain why the choice matters. Media advertising fell 0.7 percent in 2025, so the question for a Helsinki company is how its budget is spent, not only how much it spends. Almost every company in Finland is already reachable online: according to Statistics Finland's survey of ICT use in companies, published on 27 November 2025, 98 percent of companies had a website and 88 percent used social media (Statistics Finland, 27 November 2025). Having channels is no longer the difference. What an agency does with them is. We did not find a Helsinki-only figure for advertising spend in the sources we checked, so the market figures on this page are national.
1. Advertising that is not clearly marked as advertising. Influencer posts are the sharpest case. The Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority (KKV) states that using the platform's own paid-content label is not enough if the label does not name the company being advertised, and that a company that commissions influencer marketing is always responsible for its marketing (KKV, influencer marketing guideline, updated in November 2025). Ask every agency how it discloses paid partnerships before you sign.
2. Results that cannot be checked. Homepages carry client counts, growth percentages and awards. We report the ones that appear on these sites as the agencies' own claims, and we did not verify them. A percentage without a starting point tells you little about what an agency will deliver for your business.
3. A campaign that wins a pitch but not the market. Bold ideas can look convincing in a presentation and fall flat with the audience you actually need. Ask to see work for a company of your size and in your sector, not only the most striking project on the homepage.
4. Losing control of the accounts and the files. Retainers, ad accounts opened in the agency's name and reports stored in its own tools can make a change of partner slow and expensive. Ask who owns the ad accounts, the creative files and the data before you sign.
Four criteria, in this order, fixed before we checked which agencies met them, and applied only to what each agency publishes about itself. Every homepage on this list was reread in November 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days.
1. An advertising, marketing or creative agency. The site must present the agency as an advertising, marketing or creative business. Web-only, production-only and design-only providers do not qualify.
2. Helsinki stated on the site. A Helsinki base, office or team must appear in the title, the description or the presentation, not only in the contact details. Where the city appears only in the name or the title, the fiche says so.
3. Clients or work named on the homepage. A list of generic figures is not enough. The homepage must name at least one client or project.
4. A readable offer. The services must be listed, and the site must describe a method, a price or both.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not repeat the client counts, staff numbers or growth percentages shown on these homepages as facts, we did not check a single campaign result, and we did not interview any client.

Funkkis presents itself as a Helsinki brand, marketing and advertising agency for small and mid-sized companies, with more than 25 years of experience and expertise in more than 100 industries, according to its homepage. Its services run from brand strategy (market analysis, brand survey, brand workshop, brand promise, brand guide) to graphic and digital design (brand identity, typography, color palette, logo). The homepage promises the same 360-degree service as large agency groups, delivered by a network of specialists chosen for each brief. The homepage shows a row of client logos, among them Finnair, Kone and Nokia, and names projects such as Vankkapuu and Jacquet Finland. It publishes no price.
Best for: small and mid-sized Finnish companies that want brand strategy, identity and advertising from one partner. Because the network changes with each brief, ask who will lead your account and who will do the work.

Halo (Halo Oy) has a title that places it in Helsinki: "Mainostoimisto Helsinki". Its homepage combines traditional advertising with results-driven digital marketing and shows a short case section naming Switzerland Cheese Marketing Nordics, Novatech, Tec7 and Viipurilainen Kotileipomo. It publishes no price and no method beyond that positioning, so the case names are the main evidence to test in a first call.
Best for: companies that want traditional advertising and digital campaigns handled by the same Helsinki team. Ask for a written method and an example of a finished campaign, since the homepage shows little of either.

Don & Branco describes itself as a brand agency and advertising agency in Helsinki. Its homepage offers distinctive brands, digital marketing and WordPress websites for the AI era. It names recent work such as Arctic Ravn, TCG Center Helsinki and Don & Branco Whiskey Quest, alongside articles dated 2025 and 2026. The homepage also hosts an AI assistant, AI-Virtanen, which the agency presents as able to analyze a brand from its website address in about a minute. Prices and method steps are not published.
Best for: brands that want an identity, a WordPress site and paid social from one team, and that are comfortable with AI tools in the process. Ask which parts of an AI analysis a person checks before it shapes your brief.

358 describes itself as a Helsinki-based creative agency that looks for what people actually care about and builds brand experiences they want to engage with. Its homepage lists recent work for Škoda in Finland (brand applications), a revitalization of the R-Kioski brand (design, packaging and marketing) and a customer-centric storytelling project for Vaasan Sähkö (insight, brand identity and experience design). Its services include insight, strategy, brand platforms, packaging and marketing. No price is published.
Best for: brands that need strategy, identity and packaging rooted in consumer insight, not only campaigns. It is less obviously suited to a buyer who wants short media buying, since the homepage stresses brand building.

Dirty Agency calls itself a Helsinki-based creative agency for brands that want to stand out, working on branding, campaigns, guerrilla marketing, design, culture and web. Its homepage presents work for Itis (a campaign with Nylon Beat), Kirkkonummi (a branding project), Harmonic (a guerrilla campaign for harmonic.ai), Radical Health, Toivola (a culture festival) and Helsinki Distilling Co. (an online space for a drinks brand). Its stated method is "human-to-human", the same approach for B2C and B2B. No price is published, and the homepage shows work without results.
Best for: brands that want bold campaigns and guerrilla ideas and are comfortable with a sharp tone. Ask how it measures campaign results, since the homepage shows the work but not the results.

Agency Leroy presents itself as a creative agency that combines design and technology to shape confident brands, with services listed as brand, digital and studio work. Helsinki appears in its title, "Agency Leroy | Design & Digital Solutions | Helsinki Creative Agency", but the text we read gives no street address. Its selected cases name Iittala, Framery, Ålandsbanken, Tactotek, Delfin and Krogerus. The Iittala case describes a decade of creative direction for a lifestyle icon. It publishes no price in the text we read.
Best for: companies that want brand strategy, design and digital work from one studio. Ask who on the team leads your brief, and ask for a written method, since the homepage shows cases and service descriptions rather than a method.

i2 calls itself a "human-sized" marketing agency in Helsinki and Tampere, strong in brand building, creative ideas and storytelling. Its homepage features Konecranes (a global launch built on one concept for all markets), Eltel (straightforward collaboration and communications support), Sagewell (a brand renewal), Norelco (a campaign in Sweden), Tampereen kaupunki (a city cycling campaign in Tampere) and Kopar. Helsinki and Tampere both appear in its title and contact line. It publishes no price and no method beyond its positioning.
Best for: brands launching or repositioning across several markets, and organizations that want a creative team outside the capital too. The work shown is largely B2B and public-sector, so ask for consumer examples if that is your audience.

Blink Helsinki describes itself as a creative and analytical growth marketing agency and an experienced HubSpot partner. Its name places it in Helsinki, and the text we read gives no street address. Its case headlines state the results it claims: a rise in leads for Nordtreat (headed "How to grow lead volume by 260 percent"), sales up 224 percent through a sales-process redesign for Sokos Hotels S-Card, a search ranking moved from position 80 to position 4 for ICEYE, a case headed "How to grow sales by 50 percent in three months" for Bolt, and webinar attendance up 388 percent for Machine Tool. These are the agency's own figures, which we did not verify.
Best for: B2B and growth-stage companies that want marketing tied to a measured funnel of leads and sales. Ask for the starting point of each case before you compare it with another agency's figures.

Evenrue Markkinointi is a Helsinki digital marketing agency and Google Partner. It runs Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and SEO and tracks them through to sales, for small and mid-sized companies across Finland. In the homepage text we read, it is the only agency in this ranking that publishes an entry price: services from 690 euros per month, in three packages called Performance Lite, Performance and Growth. Its homepage reports a 10-fold sales increase between Q1 and Q4 2025 for the online store Varaosa.fi, a 260 percent rise in quote requests for the property services company Rooffin.fi, and a 5/5 rating from Google reviews. These are its own figures.
Best for: Finnish small and mid-sized companies that want paid search and social ads judged against sales or quote requests, with a published starting price. The packages are named but only partly described, so ask what each one includes.

Digiteam (Digiteam Oy) is a digital marketing agency in Helsinki, which says its expertise comes from more than 50 years of digital marketing experience. Its homepage lists search marketing, social media, content marketing, media advertising, GEO optimization and AI marketing, alongside websites, e-commerce sites, campaign pages, newsletters and lead tools. A testimonial puts the yearly value of the leads and sales generated for Kattokeskus through digital marketing in the millions of euros. How it reports results is not described, and no price is published.
Best for: small and mid-sized companies that want websites, e-commerce and paid media from one supplier. GEO and AI services are listed but not described in detail, so ask for an example before buying them.
The criteria below were chosen before checking who meets them, and each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own site as of November 2026. Where a site says nothing on a point, the cell says so.

Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any homepage, and each one answers one of the fears above.
1. Who will work on your account, and is that team named in the proposal? Several agencies describe networks, product-owner models or flexible teams. Ask for names and roles, and for the person who will answer your calls.
2. How are paid partnerships and influencer posts disclosed? The label should name your company, not rely on a platform tool alone, which is what the Finnish consumer authority's guideline sets out.
3. Which result will be measured, and against what starting point? Agree before the start on one or two indicators you already track, such as sales, quote requests or branded search, and record their level on day one. Without a baseline, no report can show whether the work paid off.
Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.
It is built only on public information. We read what each agency publishes on its homepage and checked the sites in November 2026. We did not audit campaigns, read the work in depth, interview clients or verify a single result. An agency that communicates little and delivers well will be underrated here.
It cannot know your context. The right partner for a retailer with a seasonal budget is rarely the right one for a software company with a long sales cycle. The "Best for" lines above matter more than the order.
It ages. Agencies change their homepages, their clients and their teams, and the national figures cited here come from publications dated 2025 and 2026. This page is reviewed every 90 days, and the reading date is stated in the method.
This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software on everything that depends on understanding one client, choosing the right moment to speak, and writing for a specific audience. Knowing when a brand should be bold and when it should be quiet, reading how a local audience reacts to a campaign, and turning a vague brief into an idea a client can approve: none of that is automatable today, and anyone who says otherwise is selling you something. For the agency side of the business, see our agency guide, written for consultants and agencies that sell SEO and GEO services.
What no single campaign solves is the content that answers buyers when they ask an AI assistant. Assistants draw on articles, guides and comparison pages as well as on campaigns, and a brand that is well known in Helsinki but absent from those sources remains a fragile recommendation.
That is what Sorank works on. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site, and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.
If you want a single recommendation: Funkkis for a small or mid-sized company that needs brand strategy and advertising from one team, Don & Branco for a brand that wants identity, WordPress and paid social together, i2 for launches across several markets, and Evenrue for a Finnish company that wants paid search and social judged against sales.
And ask how an agency will work before you ask what it promises. The partnerships that last have a named team, a clear disclosure method and an agreed starting point for results. To place agency spending among the other channels that feed your pipeline, see the 50 best customer acquisition channels in 2026.
Two other agencies with a Helsinki base came up in our review. Both are design or web shops that fit the criteria above only in part, so we keep them here for transparency, without ranking them. Two other Helsinki companies, a video production house and a marketing staffing firm, do not meet our advertising-agency criteria and are not ranked.
| Agency | Site | What they publish about themselves |
|---|---|---|
| Barabra | barabra.fi | Helsinki digital agency for websites and marketing communications, naming Intersport and ARCO Architecture Company among its work |
| Brosmark | brosmark.com | Creative agency for visual communication, graphic design and identity, with film key art and posters in its portfolio |
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
We applied four criteria fixed in advance: an advertising, marketing or creative agency; a Helsinki base stated on its own site; clients or work named on the homepage; and a readable offer. Only what each agency publishes about itself was used.
In the homepage text we read, only Evenrue publishes an entry price, 690 euros per month. The other nine do not publish prices.
Ask who will work on your account, how paid partnerships and influencer posts are disclosed, and which result will be measured against which starting point.
