Our ranking of the 10 best advertising agencies in Zagreb in 2026, built on public homepage information, with sources, method and limits stated.

In short
Akterpublic tops our ranking of the best advertising agencies in Zagreb for brands that want a full-service team with a long local record and named clients. GoTraffic is our pick for paid search and social campaigns judged on inquiries and orders, Inventa for buying media at scale, and DigiAdria for Google and Meta ads combined with SEO. Aplitap is the choice when a website has to come first. The deciding criterion is not the number of years a site claims. It is whether the agency names its clients, shows a Zagreb address or team, and tells you who runs the account day to day.

Choosing among the best advertising agencies in Zagreb is harder than it looks, because online is now a large and fast-growing share of advertising and many firms that call themselves advertising agencies are, in practice, digital marketing shops. According to the mmb media agency figures reported by Lider Media on 26 July 2026, total media investment in Croatia reached 426.9 million euros in 2025.
Online is now bigger than television. In the same Lider Media report, television received 153 million euros in mmb's figures, while online received 190.9 million euros according to IAB Croatia's Online Media AdEx research. The online part rests on IAB Croatia's estimate, reported by Media Marketing on 17 April 2026, which puts growth at nearly 23 percent on the year before. The same IAB series gave 155.3 million euros for online advertising in 2024, a rise of 16.4 percent, as Tportal reported on 29 May 2025.
These figures are national. Most agencies in this ranking are based in Zagreb, but we found no verified figure for the city alone, so we do not invent one. What a Zagreb location gives a Croatian advertiser is practical: a team that can attend a meeting in person, copy written for Croatian readers, and buyers who know the local media and retail calendar. Those are the points we checked on each homepage.
Four fears come up again and again, and each one can be checked before signing.
1. Paying for campaigns nobody can trace. Google and Meta budgets are easy to spend and hard to read when conversion tracking was never set up. DigiAdria's homepage lists "bad campaigns and wasted budget" among the problems it says it solves, which shows the risk is familiar in this market. Ask how conversions are tracked before any money is spent.
2. An agency that is local in name only. Several firms here show Zagreb in their name or title without a street address in the text we read. A city name is not a team you can meet, so ask who will attend your meetings and where they work.
3. Creative that does not sound Croatian. A campaign for a Croatian audience needs the local language, local references and local timing. Ask who writes and checks the copy, and whether a Croatian speaker signs it off before it goes live.
4. Losing the accounts and the history. If an agency opens the ad accounts in its own name and keeps the access, switching later can cost you the data that shows what works. Ask who owns the accounts, the tracking tags and the audiences before you sign.
Four criteria, applied only to what each agency publishes on its own site. The homepages were reread in November 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days.
1. Advertising work on the site. Creation, paid campaigns or media buying announced in the agency's own words.
2. Named proof. Clients, projects or awards named on the site. A count of clients counts for less than a name.
3. A Zagreb presence stated on the site. A street address, an office or a team in the city. McCann Zagreb, Izone and Kala Presence show Zagreb without a street address in the text we read. They stay in the ranking because the site presents them as a Zagreb team, and their entries say so. This third criterion was widened after a first reading of the homepages, so it now accepts a Zagreb team or name when no address is published.
4. A stated track record. The years of activity the site publishes.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not reuse the "#1" claims, the client counts or the revenue figures as facts, since none of them can be checked from outside. We did not count awards that the sites do not name, and we did not reward a confident tone.

Akterpublic is a Zagreb agency whose homepage states that its headquarters are in the city. It describes itself as a full-service agency and gives its age in two ways: a quarter of a century in its description, 30 years in its text. Its homepage names Hisense (Hisense Cup 2025), Sinclair (20 years of the Sinclair brand in Croatia) and Gorenje (75 years), and refers to over 250 collaborations with domestic and foreign clients.
Best for: brands that want a full-service Zagreb agency with a long track record. The homepage names three clients but says little about the work, so ask for the case behind each one.

GoTraffic is a performance marketing agency from Zagreb, specialized in Google Ads, Meta Ads and SEO, with TikTok and advanced conversion tracking also listed. It states that it has been a Google Premier Partner since 2024, with 12+ years of experience and 300+ projects, and it names one case: a digital system built with Centar Zlata to support the growth of an industry leader.
Best for: companies that want paid search and social campaigns judged on inquiries and orders rather than clicks. Ask how it reports results, since the site shows only one named case.

McCann Zagreb is the Zagreb page of the McCann name. Its visible content is mostly news: a Kaufland selection published in July 2024 and a bronze Effie mentioned in a 2023 item. The text we read gives no street address, founding date or list of services, so Zagreb appears here through the name alone.
Best for: brands that want a creative campaign team with awards on record. Ask who would run the account day to day, because the site says little about its process.

Izone presents itself as a multidisciplinary advertising agency in Zagreb, whose team works as one to combine communication concepts and digital solutions. Its one named case study is Frondi, a limited edition packaging and launch campaign that addresses preventive check-ups for breast and prostate cancer. Its title names Zagreb, but the text we read gives no street address, founding date or client list.
Best for: brands that want one team to design a communication concept and build the digital side. With one published case, ask for a second reference from a similar brand before deciding.

Inventa is a strategic marketing agency from Zagreb that plans and buys media for business results, covering TV, digital, out-of-home, radio and print, with creative and influencer work alongside. Its homepage states more than 25 years of experience, more than 20 million euros in annual revenue and 15+ long-term clients in automotive, retail, yachting, FMCG and tech. It names sectors rather than individual clients in the text we read.
Best for: advertisers that buy media at scale and want strategy, buying and measurement in one team. Its media focus is clearer than its creative offer.
JAVV Digital is a Zagreb agency that runs Google and Meta campaigns and lists ChatGPT advertising as a new service. It describes its team as an official Google Partner certified team for Google Ads, and claims more than 400 successful Google and Meta campaigns, without naming any. Its homepage also presents its own analytics software as part of the offer.
Best for: advertisers that want campaigns run with a reporting dashboard of the agency's own design. Because the software is its own, ask how you would take your data and history with you if you left.

DigiAdria is a digital agency from Zagreb offering Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEO, websites, AI automation and training. Its homepage names its founder, Marko Krišto, and shows a Google Ads Shopping example for a webshop, with results the agency presents as its own. It offers a free analysis that it says returns three concrete recommendations, with no obligation.
Best for: webshops and service companies that want more qualified inquiries and a wider digital service. Training and digital products are a second activity for this agency, so ask who will run the campaigns day to day.

Aplitap is a digital studio in Zagreb with a published address at Ilica 310. Its main services are websites, web shops and SEO, and Google and Meta advertising appears as one service among several. Its homepage invites visitors to ask for a free offer and names no client in the text we read.
Best for: companies that need a website and search visibility first, with paid advertising added later. Advertising is not its core, so compare its ad work with a dedicated paid media agency.

Digital Matrix presents itself as a digital marketing agency from Zagreb, offering Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram Ads, social media, SEO and web design. Its homepage states 10+ years of experience and 100+ satisfied clients, and offers a free consultation. The text we read names no client and gives no street address.
Best for: businesses that want paid ads, social media and web design from one provider. Its proof is a client count rather than named cases, so ask for examples from businesses like yours.

Kala Presence is a digital agency whose title names Zagreb. It offers web design, SEO, social media and PPC advertising through Google Ads and Facebook Ads, and says that 100+ clients trust it. Its title also calls it "#1", a claim we did not reuse, and the text we read names no client.
Best for: companies that want a website, SEO and paid ads from a single provider, with the individual service its homepage promises. Ask for named references, since the site shows none.
The four criteria are applied as described above, and each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own site as of November 2026. Where a site does not say something, the cell says so rather than guessing.
| Agency | Zagreb presence stated on the site | Years stated | Named proof | Published entry point |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any case study, and each one answers one of the fears above.
1. Who owns the ad accounts, and who keeps the access? The answer should be clear: accounts opened in your name, with the agency given access. Accounts the agency owns can leave with it if you switch.
2. Who writes and approves the Croatian copy, and how fast? Ask for a sample of Croatian copy and the approval steps. Copy written in another language and translated later often reads stiffly to a Croatian buyer, and a slow approval loop can leave a campaign out of date before it runs.
3. Which result will be measured, and against what starting point? Agree on one or two indicators you already track, such as inquiries, orders or branded searches, and record their level before the first campaign. Without that baseline, no report can show whether the work paid off.
Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.
It is built only on public homepage text. We read what each agency publishes and checked the sites in November 2026. We did not audit any campaign, interview any client or verify a single result. An agency that communicates little and works well will be underrated here.
Zagreb is only as visible as the sites make it. Three entries show the city through the name alone, and an agency based in Zagreb that does not say so on its site cannot appear here, however good its work. None of the ten publishes its prices.
The market figures are national. The totals above cover Croatia, and the online series comes from IAB Croatia's own estimates, which may not match other measurements. Use them to understand the shift toward online, not as a Zagreb-only benchmark.
This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software on what needs a room and a relationship: knowing how Croatian retailers and media buyers work, reading a brief written in Croatian, deciding when a campaign should pause, and answering for the result in a meeting. None of that is automatable today, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something. For a broader view of when hiring an agency makes more sense than running a channel in house, see our agency guide.
What no ad campaign solves alone is what is said about your brand outside paid media. AI assistants and search engines draw on articles, reviews and comparison pages, so a brand that is well advertised in Zagreb but absent from the rest of the web remains a fragile recommendation.
Sorank works on that part. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site, and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.
If you want a single recommendation: Akterpublic for a long-established Zagreb full-service agency with named clients, GoTraffic if you need paid search and social campaigns judged on inquiries and orders, Inventa if you buy media at scale, DigiAdria or Digital Matrix for Google and Meta ads with SEO from one provider, and Aplitap if a website has to come first.
And ask who will do the work before asking what it promises. A Zagreb agency worth hiring can name its clients, show where its team sits and explain how it reports. To place advertising among the other channels that feed your pipeline, see the 50 best customer acquisition channels in 2026.
Two more agencies with a Zagreb address or name on their sites, placed outside the top 10. Narativ is mainly a PR agency, which is why it sits here rather than in the ranking.
| Agency | Site | What they publish about themselves |
|---|---|---|
| Narativ | narativ.agency | PR and digital marketing agency from Zagreb, offering crisis communication, media relations, ads and content, with two 2025 Grand PRix awards named on its homepage |
| Media Polis | mediapolis.hr | Marketing and communications agency with an office at Ul. grada Vukovara 284, Zagreb; its homepage also shows an EU-funded project from 2019 to 2020 to strengthen its market position |
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
The answer should be clear: accounts opened in your name, with the agency given access. Accounts the agency owns can leave with it if you switch.
Ask for a sample of Croatian copy and the approval steps. Copy written in another language and translated later often reads stiffly to a Croatian buyer, and a slow approval loop can leave a campaign out of date before it runs.
Agree on one or two indicators you already track, such as inquiries, orders or branded searches, and record their level before the first campaign. Without that baseline, no report can show whether the work paid off.
