Our ranking of the 10 best SEO agencies in Athens in 2026, based on public homepage information, with sources, method and limits stated.

In short
IT DEV tops our ranking for Athens businesses that want local search, SEO and a website handled together. DevSeg suits teams that need WordPress or WooCommerce sites built and found in Greek and in English. Bluemind Strategic Digital Agency combines SEO with AI visibility, and CNCTECH Digital Agency fits businesses that want SEO next to AI and app work from one team. The ranking used four criteria set before we looked at who wins them: SEO among the stated services, an Athens presence declared on the site, named clients or projects, and a readable offer. The question to ask any agency on this list is simple: what exactly will you do each month, and how will you show it?

Choosing among the best SEO agencies in Athens means choosing a partner for a market where more and more purchases start with a search. According to ELSTAT's 2025 survey, reported by dnews.gr on 17 December 2025, 12347 of 47849 Greek enterprises with ten or more employees (25.8%) received orders through a website, a specialised app or an electronic data exchange system between 1 January and 15 September 2025. Those are businesses that already sell online, and they all need someone who understands search.
Athens buyers judge a provider by what they can check locally, and local search rewards businesses that show clearly where they are and who they serve. In December 2023, To Vima reported on ELSTAT's survey that approximately one in five Greek businesses receive online orders. Whichever reading you use, online ordering is now a normal channel for Greek firms, and the agencies below all sell visibility inside it.
A local agency is not automatically a better agency. What it does give you is a team you can meet, a stated Athens base to check, and a reason to ask how it handles Greek-language search, which is where Athens buyers start. That is why every agency in this ranking had to state an Athens presence on its own site.
Four fears come up when Athens businesses compare SEO agencies, and each one is about paying for something they cannot check.
1. Paying for a promised first place. Several homepages in this market use wording such as "Position one" or "No1". Those are the agencies' own claims. No one controls Google's ranking, so a guarantee should make you ask exactly what the contract covers.
2. Paying for a site nobody can find. A fast, attractive site that is not built for search earns no visits. Ask who handles the technical side, meaning speed, indexing and structure, before the design is approved.
3. Getting Greek copy that reads like a translation. Many agencies here build sites in Greek and English. A bilingual site needs natural Greek, or the buyers who search in Greek will leave without contacting you.
4. Neglecting the local listing. Google Business Profile and local results are where many Athens buyers choose a provider. Ask whether the agency manages that profile as well as the website.
Four criteria, in this order, applied only to what each agency publishes about itself. The texts used here come from each agency's homepage, and this page was prepared in November 2026. It is scheduled for review every 90 days, because agencies in this market appear, change their offers and disappear.
1. SEO among the stated services. SEO, local SEO or AI SEO (GEO) must appear in the agency's own list of services.
2. An Athens presence stated on the site. A headquarters, address, office or team in Athens. Agencies with no Athens office on their own site were left out, even when they serve Athens clients.
3. Named clients or projects. Clients, case studies or testimonials that the site itself publishes.
4. A readable offer. Services listed, with a stated positioning or method.
What we deliberately did not do: we kept the scope to Athens and did not widen the search to the rest of Attica or to Greece. We did not verify the view counts, growth percentages or award counts displayed on these sites. Where we quote one, we say it is the agency's own claim and that we did not check it. Where the homepage text we collected says nothing about a point, the table says "Not published" rather than guessing.

IT DEV describes itself as a digital marketing agency with its headquarters in Athens and a team with more than 10 years of experience. Its services include Local SEO (Google Business Profile, local searches and the Local Pack), SEO, Google Ads, website development, social media marketing and AI Visibility. Its homepage names case studies such as Epipla24, Elektrostore24 and Solid Factory, and says it works with businesses across Greece and Europe.
Best for: Athens service businesses that want local search, SEO and a website handled together. Because it says it works across Greece and Europe, ask how it divides its local work from its national work.

DevSeg presents itself as a web development and SEO agency based in Athens, Greece. It develops and promotes WordPress sites, WooCommerce stores and custom web apps, and says it gets them found on Google in Greek and in English. Its homepage lists clients such as Katanias Shoes, Pelasgian Studies, Lago Paradiso and PFZ Law Firm, and mentions EN and ΕΛ bilingual builds and support by phone 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Best for: Businesses that want a WordPress or WooCommerce site and its search work in both Greek and English. Ask who writes the Greek copy and who maintains the site after launch.

iMBnet Digital Marketing Agency calls itself a 360° digital marketing agency in Athens, active since 2013. Its services include SEO, Google Ads, social media, web development, Shopify development and email marketing. Its homepage lists e-shop and performance projects, cites a +175% online growth case (the agency's own claim, which we did not check), and shows Dime Awards for 2023, 2025 and 2026, which it presents as its own.
Best for: E-shop owners and brands that want SEO combined with Google Ads and Shopify work. The awards are listed on its own site, so ask for the case studies behind them.

Bluemind Strategic Digital Agency describes itself as an Athens agency active since 2017, building websites and e-shops and offering SEO, AI SEO, Google Ads and e-commerce SEO. It lists AI Visibility (AEO and GEO) as a main service. Its homepage cites one case, a hotel in Attica with +32% direct bookings in four months, without naming the client; this is the agency's own claim, which we did not check.
Best for: Hotels and e-shops that want SEO, AI visibility and Google Ads from one team. With only one unnamed case on the homepage, ask for references you can check.

eproductions describes itself as an Athens-based digital agency since 1997. It covers strategy, content, web development, custom WordPress, e-commerce, social media, SEO and GEO / AI search under one team. Its homepage lists projects including Mousegraphics, Travelgems, RKTKTS and Winery Monsieur Nicolas.
Best for: Companies that want one long-standing Athens team for web, SEO and social media. SEO appears next to web work, so ask what is specific to search in the proposal.

Findigital uses "Digital Marketing & SEO Agency Αθήνα" as its page title, which names Athens in Greek and says it serves businesses across Greece. Its services are websites, e-shops, SEO, AI SEO (GEO), Google Ads, social media, email marketing and AiVisibility. It describes its team as certified professionals. Its homepage names no client in the text we collected.
Best for: Small and medium businesses that want a website or e-shop with Google Ads and SEO in one package. Ask for examples of clients before the first call.

Digital4U calls itself a 360° digital marketing agency in Athens and Thessaloniki, offering SEO, digital marketing, design and development. Its homepage says more than 350 retail and wholesale e-shops and 220 corporate websites are live, and it publishes testimonials attributed to named clients.
Best for: Retailers and companies that want an e-shop or corporate site built and then promoted, with offices in two cities. Ask how SEO results are measured, since the homepage reports sites and accounts rather than rankings.

DMSS Digital Marketing Agency uses "Digital Marketing Agency Athens" in its page title and lists website creation, digital copywriting, SEO, performance marketing, Google marketing and social media among its services. Its homepage calls it "No1 Digital Marketing Agency" and states that Google Reviews includes it among the best digital marketing companies in Europe. Both are the agency's own statements.
Best for: Businesses that want SEO, copywriting and Google marketing in Greek. Ask for the source behind the "No1" and Google Reviews claims before relying on them.

Lavender Giraffe describes itself as a creative web design agency in Athens, serving the UK and EU. It offers web design and development on WordPress, Webflow and Framer, and presents its approach as "Search Everywhere Optimization", covering Google, AI tools and maps. Its homepage links to case studies and offers a strategy call.
Best for: Established businesses with an English-speaking market in the UK or EU that want a website and strategic SEO. Its stated market is the UK and EU, so check how it handles Greek-language search.

CNCTECH Digital Agency describes itself as a digital agency with its headquarters in Athens since 2011. It offers websites and e-shops, AI solutions, iOS and Android apps, AI and digital marketing, social media, SEO and AI SEO for Google and ChatGPT, branding, and growth and CRM work. It says it is a Google Partner and offers a free check on request.
Best for: Companies that want web, AI tools and SEO from one team. The range of services is wide, so ask who leads the SEO work and how it is reported.

Read the "Not published" cells as a lack of public information on the homepage text we collected, not a lack of competence. Several of these agencies almost certainly serve more types of clients than their homepage shows, and the honest way to find out is to ask them directly.
Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any case study, and each one matches one of the fears above.
1. Which SEO tasks are in the monthly fee, and which are billed separately? Ask for the list: technical audit, keyword research, content writing, Google Business Profile management and reporting. Several agencies here list SEO next to web design and Google Ads, so the boundary between them should be written down before you sign.
2. Who writes the content, and who approves it before it goes live? Ask whether the copy is written by people, whether the Greek and English versions are written separately, and who signs off before publication. A page that nobody at your company has read can do lasting damage.
3. Which result will be measured, and against what starting point? Agree on one or two measures you already track, such as organic visits, or calls and enquiries that come from Google, and record their level on day one. Without a baseline, no report can show whether the work helped.
Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.
It is built only on public information. We read what each agency publishes and did not audit any campaign, read the results they report, interview any client or verify a single figure. An agency that communicates little and works very well will be underrated here.
It covers Athens addresses only. An agency based in another city is excluded even when it serves Athens clients. The list is therefore a shortlist of Athens providers, not a verdict on who serves the Athens market best.
It ages. Google changes its rules and search features, and agencies in this market appear, pivot and disappear quickly. This page is reviewed every 90 days.
This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software on everything that requires knowing a local market, choosing the right moment to speak and writing like a person rather than a brand. Knowing which Athens neighbourhoods, sectors or Greek phrases matter to a business, deciding when a page needs a rewrite and when it does not, and understanding a client's sector well enough to ask the right questions: none of that is automatable today, and anyone who claims otherwise is selling you something. For a broader view of when hiring an agency makes more sense than running SEO in house, see our agency guide.
What no SEO agency solves on its own is a site that nobody updates. Search engines and AI assistants also draw on articles, guides and comparison pages, and a business that is well listed in Athens but absent from the rest of the web remains a fragile recommendation.
That is what Sorank works on. Sorank is software, not an agency, so for an Athens business it can carry the monthly production work, but the local knowledge described above still has to come from people who know the Athens market: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. That last part is not decoration: without it, you cannot tell whether the content reaches the answers buyers read. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.
If you want a single recommendation: IT DEV if you run a service business in Athens and want local search, SEO and a website handled together; DevSeg if you need a WordPress or WooCommerce site found in Greek and in English; Bluemind Strategic Digital Agency if you run a hotel or an e-shop and want SEO with AI visibility; and CNCTECH Digital Agency if you want SEO next to AI and app work from one team.
And ask how the agency works before asking what it promises. SEO that lasts in Athens rests on a clear list of tasks, content your team has approved and a baseline agreed before the start. This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.

Ask whether the copy is written by people, whether the Greek and English versions are written separately, and who signs off before publication. A page that nobody at your company has read can do lasting damage.
