Choosing among the SEO consultants in Toronto means entrusting your search visibility to one person or a very small firm, rather than to a large agency team. The person who sells you the engagement is usually the one who will work on your site and your Google listing, so the choice matters. This ranking reads ten consultants and agencies one by one and says, for each, which kind of business they suit.
A consultant based in Toronto can meet you in person, see your premises if you have them, and check the local results your customers see when they search. For a service business, the Google Business Profile, the reviews and the local pages all depend on facts that someone has to verify on the ground, and a local person can do that quickly.
Toronto is also a large market for local search. The City of Toronto's Employment Survey counted 74560 establishments in 2025, a net increase of 1380 or 1.9 per cent, according to the city's Employment Survey page. The full 2025 results are in the City Planning Employment Survey bulletin, revised in December 2025. Each of those establishments is a possible client for a local SEO consultant, and many of them are competitors in the same search results.
A Toronto presence is also something you can check: it should appear on the consultant's own site, on their Google Business Profile, and during the first call. This ranking keeps only the firms and consultants whose own site shows a Toronto address, office or team, or who state that they are based in Toronto.
1. A Toronto name with nobody in Toronto. Some firms put a city in their name and run the work from somewhere else. Ask who will attend your meetings and where that person is based.
2. Losing the Google listing when the contract ends. The Google Business Profile, the Search Console property and the analytics account should be in your name. If they are not, leaving the provider can take your local visibility with it.
3. A generalist that treats SEO as one service among many. A firm that also sells social media, web design and apps can do good SEO work, but ask who spends the hours on your keywords, pages and reviews every month.
4. Paying for AI visibility you cannot measure. Many providers now promise that AI assistants will name your business. Ask which questions they track, how often they check, and what report you will receive.
We fixed four criteria before looking at which consultants rank first, and applied them only to what each one publishes on their own site. Every site on this list was reviewed on 5 November 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days.
1. SEO is the main service. Firms that present SEO as their core business come before those that list it among other services.
2. A Toronto presence the site shows. A Toronto address, office or team stated on the firm's own site, or a consultant who states that they are based in Toronto. Firms without one were left out, even when they serve Toronto clients.
3. Proof you can check outside the site. A Google Partner badge, a certification you can verify, Google reviews, or press features you can find on the outlet's own site count for more than a claim with no source.
4. An offer you can read before the first call. A free call, a free audit, a free strategy session or a published price.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not verify client counts, budgets or results. Where a firm publishes its own figures, we report them as its own claims, unverified. When a site gives two different figures, for example two different numbers of years of experience, we quote neither. We did not visit any office, did not check any Google Business Profile, and did not audit any account.

Emanuel P is an SEO consultant from Toronto with more than ten years of experience helping small and medium-sized businesses grow their organic traffic. His site says he holds six active Google Skillshop certifications, and you can verify them on Skillshop, which is the most checkable proof on this list. The site offers a 15-minute consultation and an SEO audit; the homepage text we read does not say whether the audit is free.
Best for: small and medium-sized businesses in Toronto that want a verifiable certification and a short first call before any commitment. The text we read on his homepage shows no price, so ask for a written quote and for the name of the person who will do the day-to-day work.

Digital Ducats is a local SEO agency for home service businesses across the United States and Canada, and its site says its headquarters are in Toronto. It says it works on Google Maps, Local Service Ads, SEO and AI search for plumbers, electricians, HVAC companies and roofers, and it shows 5.0 from 16 Google reviews. The site also lists a 2021 Clutch recognition and a 2022 listing from The Business Research Company, both presented by the agency itself.
Best for: home service businesses that want to appear in the Google Maps results and receive calls from them. The site's example is a roofer in Whitby, Ontario, so ask for the same kind of report on your own area before you commit.

Logik Digital calls itself Toronto's AI SEO agency. Its site says it has 15 years of proven search expertise and offers SEO, GEO and AEO work, web design, content and Google Business Profile optimization. It offers a free strategy call, and the text we read shows no review count and no certification.
Best for: Toronto businesses that want Google rankings, AI assistant visibility and their Google Business Profile handled together. The site does not explain how it measures AI visibility, so ask for the method and for an example report.
Cadiente Digital is a Toronto-based SEO agency that sells SEO, Google Ads and web design, including redesigns, from one brand. Its site offers a free SEO audit, local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization, and it presents more than 50 keywords ranked on page one and a 400 per cent average lead growth for clients. These are the agency's own figures, and the site does not show the work behind them.
Best for: businesses that want SEO, Google Ads and a new website from a single provider. Ask for the case behind the 400 per cent figure and for a sample monthly report before you sign.

Ahmet Kul is a freelance SEO consultant in Toronto. The site says Ahmet Kul has helped Fortune 500 companies and small and mid-sized businesses generate more traffic and leads, and it offers a complimentary strategy session before any engagement. It also lists teaching at BrainStation and a photo with Lily Ray at MOZCON 2023. The site gives two different numbers of years of experience, so we do not quote either.
Best for: businesses that want to work with one individual consultant and a free strategy session before deciding. The site does not publish a price, so ask for a written proposal.

Marc Nashaat is a Toronto-based SEO, SEM and AI consultant for enterprise and mid-market companies. His site shows a Google Partner badge, says he has more than 15 years of experience and an average client tenure of six years, and lists case studies on organic revenue and conversions. It also lists press features in CBC, Forbes and CIO, which you can check on those outlets' own sites.
Best for: mid-market and enterprise companies that measure SEO in pipeline and want a senior consultant who works alongside their own marketers and engineers. The site positions him for mid-market and enterprise clients, so a very small budget may not fit.

The site presents Blake Mitchell as a research and testing based SEO and GEO consultant in Toronto, Ontario. His site lists technical site audits covering server log analysis, keyword cannibalization, backlink audits, schema and site speed, and SEO and AI strategy roadmaps with each action prioritized. Its homepage calls him Toronto's top SEO consultant, which is the consultant's own claim, and it shows no price.
Best for: businesses with a technical problem, such as slow pages or traffic that fell after a site change, that need a diagnosis and a roadmap before paying for work. Ask for the scope of the audit and a price in writing first.

Kuona is a bilingual SEO agency based in Toronto that serves small and medium-sized businesses. Its site lists SEO optimization to improve rankings for target keywords, content marketing built on the SEO strategy, and online marketing with social media and paid search. Its bilingual service in English and French is the most distinctive point of its homepage.
Best for: small and medium-sized businesses in Toronto that need SEO in English and French, or that serve French-speaking customers. The homepage text we read shows no price and no review count, so ask for both.

Delta Growth describes itself as a Toronto-based SEO, PPC and GEO company. Its site says it focuses on revenue and not on creative or branding, and it covers SEO, paid search, social ads, conversion rate optimization, marketing automation and analytics. It states that every client gets access to its project management system and to an always up-to-date reporting dashboard for each channel, which is a practical way to check the work.
Best for: companies that want SEO and paid search judged on leads and revenue, with dashboard access, and that do not need design or branding. Ask for a sample dashboard before you sign.

Bhagyesh Patel is an ecommerce SEO specialist who states a Toronto base. His portfolio is built around online stores and content sites, including a Shopify project for a Belgian beer store that the site describes as the largest of its kind in the USA. He says he helped triple sales of one product line and ran an SEO turnaround for a business facing a 60 per cent year-on-year sales decline. These are his own claims, which we have not verified.
Best for: online stores that need product page SEO, a platform migration or workflow automation. His portfolio is mostly e-commerce and content, so a local service business should check whether he has worked with businesses like theirs.

Three questions to put to every provider before you sign.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It is based on public information. We read what each firm publishes about itself on 5 November 2026. We did not audit any account or confirm any result. A firm that says little and delivers well will be underrated here.
It does not know your sector or your budget. A consultant who suits a home service business, where calls come from Google Maps, is rarely the right one for an online store. The Best for lines matter more than the rank number.
It ages. Certifications are renewed, offers change and sites are rebuilt. Check each site, and its Toronto address, before you sign.
An agency makes judgment calls: which pages to rewrite first, how to respond to a review problem, when to change the offer. A Toronto consultant can also sit down with your team, look at your premises and answer for the result in person.
Disclosure: Sorank publishes this ranking. Software does the repetitive work well. Sorank is software, not an agency: after an audit of your site, it finds keywords, writes and publishes articles for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Pricing starts at US$49 a month billed yearly (US$99 billed monthly), with a 3-day free trial. To talk to the team, book a call on the Sorank call page.
The best SEO consultant in Toronto is the one whose usual client looks like you. For a small service business that wants a checkable certification and a 15-minute consultation, Emanuel P comes first. For a home service business that wants calls from Google Maps, Digital Ducats is the one to check. For SEO in English and French, Kuona. For mid-market or enterprise SEO, Marc Nashaat. For a technical problem that needs a diagnosis first, Blake Mitchell. Before you write your brief, use the three questions above; if you run an agency, the Sorank agency guide is written for agency owners.
These other Toronto providers, noted during this review, are presented based on what they publish on their own site, without verification on our part.

This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
It should be in your name, with you as owner or manager. Ask for this on day one, so you keep your local visibility if the contract ends.
Ask for the name of the person who will work on your account and check their Toronto presence on the agency's own site. Ask whether meetings can be held in person in Toronto or by video.
Ask for a written list of deliverables, such as keyword research, content, technical fixes and monthly reporting, and for the notice period needed to end the contract.
