Our ranking of the 10 best freelance GEO consultants in France in 2027, checked one by one, with published prices, method and limits.

Choosing among the best GEO consultants in France means handing one person the question that has worried many business owners for two years: what do ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or Google's AI Overviews answer when a customer looks for a provider like you? GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) is the work that makes a brand quotable by these AI assistants. Google states in its official documentation on AI features that there are no additional requirements and no special optimization needed to appear in AI Overviews and AI Mode, and that SEO best practices still apply. A good GEO consultant therefore starts from SEO, then works on what gets a brand cited: a clear identity, content that answers questions directly, mentions on third-party sources and regular measurement. This ranking brings together ten independent consultants, checked one by one, and says for each which type of business they suit.
An independent GEO consultant is both your contact and the person who does the work. The AI visibility audit, the choice of questions to track, the rewriting of pages and the reporting all go through the same person, with no project manager between you and the work.
This format has three advantages for a small or mid-sized business: direct contact, fees that are often lower than an agency's, and a consultant who knows your market in detail. It also has two limits: one person produces less content than a team, and their absences show in the tracking. The term GEO itself is recent: it comes from a research paper published at the end of 2023, so the practice under this name is less than three years old. The experience that counts is still SEO experience.
If you need to produce dozens of pieces of content a month, cover several countries or run press relations at the same time, an agency team is often a better fit. Our ranking of the best GEO agencies in France covers that case.
Five criteria, in this order, applied only to what each consultant publishes on their own website. Every site on this list was reviewed on October 14, 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days.
1. GEO is a dedicated offer. A page, a method and a measurement specific to GEO come before a word added to an existing SEO offer.
2. Proof you can check yourself. There is no official directory of GEO consultants, unlike Google Partners for advertising. Reviews published on a third-party platform, named clients and dated public appearances therefore count for more than a figure displayed without a source.
3. An offer you can read before the first call. A published starting price, a free audit or a precisely described support format.
4. An explained measurement. The consultant says which AI assistants they query, with which questions and how often. Without this measurement, nobody can tell whether the work changed anything.
5. A real independent business. Website online, the person's name displayed, work carried out alone. Agencies and consultants employed by an agency were left out, even when they are well known.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not reuse any figures published by the consultants (revenue increases, share of voice, numbers of clients), because nothing allows them to be checked from the outside. We did not rank consultants by their own presence in ChatGPT: answers vary from one day to the next, and several consultants publish rankings in which they place themselves. Sorank publishes GEO software: this ranking only covers consultants, and Sorank is not in it.
Julien Gourdon has been an independent SEO and GEO consultant since 2023, based in La Celle-Saint-Cloud, in the Yvelines, and works remotely for clients across France. He was a senior SEO consultant at Novalem, part of the Havas group, from 2017 to 2022, then SEO lead at Resoneo. He presents himself as a GEO pioneer since 2024 and publishes a barometer of GEO consultants' visibility in ChatGPT, with its protocol and archived answers; he comes out on top, which you should read knowing that he is its author. He names Canal+, CAFPI, GrandVision and E.Leclerc among his clients, received a SEMY Award in 2022 with the Havas Market team and was interviewed by L'Express in October 2025. His coaching prices are published: €100 excl. VAT for a one-hour session, €400 excl. VAT for a four-session program, and a scoping engagement from €1,500 excl. VAT for a team that wants to build its own tooling.
Best for: brands and marketing teams that want to understand and measure their presence in ChatGPT, then learn to improve it themselves. His website publishes only one client review, which gives little insight into the working relationship.

Florian Zorgnotti has been a freelance SEO consultant in Nice since 2016 and turned toward visibility in AI assistants in 2024. He is a co-founder of Cockpyt AI, a tool that tracks citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, on which his audits are based. His prices are published and dated September 23, 2026: a free SEO and AI report within 48 hours, an AI visibility audit from €1,200 excl. VAT and ongoing SEO and AI management from €1,500 excl. VAT a month. He works mainly for small businesses, mid-sized companies and solopreneurs in health, services and e-commerce, with a WordPress specialty. His website shows 32 reviews rated 5 out of 5.
Best for: small and mid-sized businesses, especially on WordPress or in e-commerce, that want month-by-month figures on their citations. Since the measurement tool is his own, ask to see the tracked questions and the raw answers, not only the scores.

David Corroy has been doing SEO since 2004. He founded the media outlet Phonandroid in 2010, sold to Groupe Figaro in 2022, then ran technology and traffic for Tom's Guide, Tom's Hardware France and TechRadar France at Galaxie Media from 2019 to 2025. He is now an independent SEO and GEO consultant in Valenciennes; his legal notice states that his business is in the process of registration. He works with a four-step method and publishes measurements of AI visibility by profession, including two editions in Lille in September 2026 (accountants and lawyers, 90 AI answers each). His prices are published: an SEO and GEO diagnostic at €390 excl. VAT, ongoing support at €490 excl. VAT a month with no minimum term, and a consulting day at €500 to €700.
Best for: mid-sized businesses, accounting or law firms and content publishers that want a low entry price and a consultant who proved himself on his own websites. His business under his own name is recent and his website publishes no review count: ask for references.

Yoann Génier is an independent SEO and GEO consultant in Chambéry, in Savoie, and has worked in digital marketing since 2010. He has included GEO in all his SEO services since 2023 and says he has trained more than 5,000 people in search optimization. His prices are published: a full SEO and GEO audit from €990, monthly GEO and SEO support from €300 a month and one-off advice at €75 an hour. He works for startups, mid-sized businesses, freelancers and ski resorts, in France and in Switzerland, including Geneva. His website shows 31 Google reviews rated 5 out of 5.
Best for: small businesses, mid-sized companies and startups that want to start with a small monthly budget and a well-rated consultant. The entry plans have a limited scope: check what the GEO tracking includes before signing.

Clément Pessaux is an independent SEO consultant in Marseille, specializing in Google Discover and media. He is a member of The Black Room, a collective of four senior SEO experts, and created Brand Monitor, a dashboard that measures what AI assistants say about a brand, as well as GNewsAlyzer, a tool for analyzing Google News and Discover. His GEO consultant page details his method and publishes price ranges: a full GEO audit from €3,000 to €25,000 excl. VAT depending on scope (from €5,000 excl. VAT for one market and the main AI assistants), monthly tracking from €1,500 to €4,000 excl. VAT, a consulting day at €1,000 excl. VAT and an hour of coaching at €200 excl. VAT.
Best for: media outlets, publishers and brands with content and technical teams able to apply an action plan. These are the highest prices on this list, and his website publishes neither client reviews nor a legal form.

Stéphanie Barge is a local SEO and local GEO consultant near Cannes, a business owner since 2004 and a registered trainer. Her local GEO audit examines how Google, Bing and assistants such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity present a business in a local search: Google Business Profile, Bing Places and Apple Maps listings, reviews, directories and AI answers. She states that a full audit of one location generally costs €1,000 to €1,500 excl. VAT. She led a workshop on search optimization in the age of generative AI at the World AI Cannes Festival in February 2026, and also creates Wikidata entries and Wikipedia pages.
Best for: shops, hotels, restaurants and service businesses whose customers look for a provider near them. Her reviews page gathers testimonials without a total or an overall rating.

Philippe Donnart is an SEO and GEO consultant near Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, working under the name Seonaute. His Radar GEO asks ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini the real questions of a market, records who is cited and what is said about the business, then gives a citation score per AI assistant. The entry point is published: the Radar GEO Éclair, 10 questions on 2 AI assistants with a verdict within 24 hours, costs €49, deducted if you go on to a full Radar, whose price is not displayed. He also offers a Google listing radar, a competitor radar and a technical audit. He names Alpilles Voyages and Esprit Provence among his current projects, and shows 4 Google reviews rated 5 out of 5.
Best for: small businesses and tourism players in Provence that want to know, for a small amount, whether AI assistants cite them before committing a larger budget. The small number of published reviews still gives little insight.

Indiana Aflalo is an independent consultant in Nice, under the trade name IndHack, with more than seven years of experience, first in an agency and then on her own. She states that she won first place in the GreenRed France GEO contest in April 2026, a competition for visibility in AI assistants; this result is published only on her own website. She documented her method in a 2026 GEO white paper and offers a free AI visibility checker online. She also builds custom AI tools and trains teams in AI. Her prices are not published: she offers a free audit followed by a quote.
Best for: mid-sized businesses on the French Riviera that want to work on their visibility in AI assistants and, with the same person, bring AI into their internal tools. The lack of published prices and named clients means checking everything at the first meeting.

Thomas Huyghe is an SEO and AI consultant in Marcq-en-Barœul, near Lille, and has supported freelancers, craftspeople and small businesses in the Hauts-de-France region since 2009. He includes GEO in each of his SEO projects and publishes his prices: an SEO audit from €500 and monthly SEO and GEO support from €800 a month. He is a registered training provider, Qualiopi-certified since October 21, 2025 for his training activities, and offers SEO and GEO courses that can be funded by an OPCO, a French training fund.
Best for: small and mid-sized businesses in Hauts-de-France that want a consultant they can meet in person and to train their team with possible funding. GEO is only one part of his offer, which also covers automation and website building.

Louis Descamps has been a freelance SEO consultant in Lille since 2022. His GEO consultant page describes an AI visibility audit, question tests on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Claude, and work on structured data. He publishes his day rate, €400 a day, and puts monthly support at €500 to €1,500. His website shows 13 Google reviews rated 5 out of 5. His GEO page also contains a ranking of GEO consultants in which he places himself first.
Best for: small and mid-sized businesses in the Lille metropolitan area that want a day rate known in advance and an available consultant. He is the most recent profile on this list.

Four points to raise on the first call, whatever the consultant.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It relies on public information. We read what each consultant publishes and checked that each website was online on October 14, 2026. We did not audit any engagement or confirm any result. GEO contests are known only through their winners' websites. A consultant who communicates little and delivers very well will be underrated here.
It does not know your business. The right consultant for a national media outlet is rarely the right one for a hotel or a local firm. The Best for lines matter more than the number in the ranking.
It ages. GEO changes fast, and so do offers and prices. Check on the consultant's website before signing.
A consultant makes decisions: which of your customers' questions to target first, which pages to rewrite, which third-party sources to pursue. Daily measurement and regular content production, on the other hand, repeat every week and lend themselves well to software.
That is what Sorank automates: after an audit of your website, the platform finds your keywords, writes and publishes articles optimized for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Many companies combine the two: the consultant for strategy and decisions, the software for day-to-day measurement and production.
The best GEO consultant is the one whose usual clients look like your business. For a brand that wants to measure its presence in ChatGPT and build its team's skills, Julien Gourdon. For a small or mid-sized business that wants a published price and verifiable reviews, Florian Zorgnotti and Yoann Génier. For a professional firm or a publisher with a small budget, David Corroy. For a media outlet, Clément Pessaux. For a local business, Stéphanie Barge. And to track your citations in AI assistants without waiting for the next report, discover Sorank.
The prices published by the consultants in this ranking range from €49 for a first citation test to €25,000 excl. VAT for a full GEO audit covering several markets. For a mid-sized business, an audit usually costs between €390 and €1,500 excl. VAT, and monthly support between €300 and €1,500 excl. VAT. Published consulting days range from €400 to €1,000.
A consultant suits you when you want a single point of contact who personally measures and improves your presence in AI assistants, often for a few hundred euros a month. An agency becomes a better fit when you need to produce a lot of content, cover several countries or run press relations at the same time.
No. AI answers vary with the question, the model and the day, and no AI assistant publishes a rule for being cited. A serious consultant commits to a method and a measurement, not to a position. Google itself states that no special optimization is needed for its AI Overviews: SEO fundamentals remain the foundation.
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU
