The 10 best advertising agencies in Bangkok

In short

CJ WORX ranks first for brands that want creative film and social work from a Bangkok agency with named campaigns. Convert Cake suits brands that want paid media judged on results, and Hakuhodo International Thailand brings a large Japanese network behind Thai work. Grey Thailand and McCann Worldgroup Thailand offer network creative from their Bangkok offices, and Cheil Thailand adds brand experience and retail. dotMATTERS pairs creative work with a data-led method, Choojai & Friends makes films for brands such as Rexona and Cornetto, Marketyze works on a fixed monthly fee after a short trial, and MCIX Thailand focuses on social content. The deciding criterion is not a count of awards. It is whether the agency shows a Bangkok office, names the work it made and explains how it works.

Quick quiz

Agency, freelancer or in-house: who should run this for you?

Question 1 of 425%
What monthly budget do you have for this?

Choosing among the advertising agencies in Bangkok means comparing firms built for Thai audiences with firms built to run regional campaigns. Online reach is already wide: Thailand's National Statistical Office, in its Statistical Yearbook 2025, reports that 59.2 million people aged 6 and over used the internet in 2024, up from 58.1 million in 2023. Each agency on this list says it runs creative or paid campaigns, so the real choice depends on what each one can show.

Why does a local agency matter in Bangkok, and why does a top 10 help?

A Bangkok campaign has to work in Thai, often alongside English, on the platforms Thai people actually use, and a local team knows how to plan for that. Several agencies in this ranking list LINE among their channels, next to Meta, Google and TikTok. An agency based elsewhere may know the region without knowing the Thai shopper. That is why this ranking applies one filter first: only agencies whose own site shows an address, an office or a team in Bangkok can appear.

The market is also moving. The Nation reported on 20 November 2025 that Thailand's advertising market was expected to end the year down 1.63%, a figure given by the Media Agency Association of Thailand, while digital media kept growing across all platforms. When the total market shrinks, every baht has to show a result, which is a good reason to ask for a measured plan before signing.

What are buyers actually afraid of when they hire a Bangkok agency?

Four fears come up again and again, and each one can be checked before signing.

1. Not knowing who owns the ad accounts. Meta, Google and TikTok campaigns run through accounts, a tracking pixel and audience lists. If the agency sets them up in its own name, the brand can lose its history when the contract ends. Ask who holds each account, the pixel and the customer data before the first campaign goes live.

2. Creative that reads like a translation. A campaign written in English and then translated into Thai can look right and still miss the tone Thai audiences respond to. Ask who writes the Thai copy, who approves it, and whether the plan includes LINE as well as the other channels.

3. A fee that hides the media budget. Some quotes show a monthly management fee but leave out ad spend, production or set-up work. Ask for one written quote that separates the agency fee, the media budget and the production costs.

4. Being approached by someone using the agency's name. DTK AD warns on its own site that people have used its name to ask for job applications and personal details through LINE, and says it only recruits through official company email. Check the agency's domain and contact details on its own website before you share anything.

How did we rank these agencies?

Four criteria, fixed before we checked which agencies meet them, and applied only to what each agency publishes on its own site. Before them sits one filter: a Bangkok address, office or team shown on the agency's own site.

1. Advertising at the core of the offer. Creative, media buying or campaigns must appear on the homepage as a main service, not as one line among web, print and events.

2. Named campaigns or clients. Campaign titles, client names or case studies that a buyer can check by visiting the site.

3. A readable method or commitment. Steps, a published price or a measurement framework, stated on the site.

4. Several channels. Film, social, media, search or performance work, rather than a single service.

The text we reviewed was checked on 6 November 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days, because agencies in Bangkok change names, teams and offers often. What we deliberately did not do: we did not use the award counts, Google ratings, client totals or "best agency" claims that some sites display. None of them can be verified from the outside, so where an agency calls itself the most awarded or the number one, we report that as its own description. We did not check any award with its organiser, visit any client or test a campaign's results.

The 10 best advertising agencies in Bangkok

Homepage of the Bangkok advertising agency CJ WORX
CJ WORX shows its projects, including the Netflix and KFC campaigns, on its homepage.

1. CJ WORX

CJ WORX describes itself as Thailand's most awarded independent advertising agency. Its office is on South Sathorn Road in Bangkok, according to its site. Its homepage shows branded, integrated and social projects, including the Netflix Lottery Ticket, KFC Checking for Chicken and Fresh air beans, and it says it was one of six agencies nominated for Global's Ads Agency of the Year.

Best for: brands that want creative ideas for film and social campaigns. The awards are the agency's own description, so ask for the case studies behind them before you rely on them.

Homepage of the Bangkok performance marketing agency Convert Cake
Convert Cake presents its performance-only approach and the Woo Tender Thailand results on its homepage.

2. Convert Cake

Convert Cake calls itself a performance-only digital marketing agency, with an office on Thonglor Road in Bangkok. Its services include paid media, creative, SEO, influencer management, app ads and AI SEO. Its homepage says it offers "no hidden fees, ever", shows a 30% increase in online sales beside the Woo Tender Thailand name, and offers a custom dashboard with real-time insights.

Best for: brands that want paid media judged on sales. The text we reviewed shows no price list and no step-by-step method, so ask for the reporting template and the starting figures before you sign.

Homepage of Hakuhodo International Thailand
Hakuhodo International Thailand highlights its awards for KFC Thailand and Telkomsel.

3. Hakuhodo International Thailand

Hakuhodo International Thailand is the Thai arm of the Japanese group Hakuhodo, whose site gives its Bangkok address on Wireless Road. The group says it was founded in 1895, works with more than 3000 clients and links over 150 offices in around 20 countries and regions. Its homepage highlights two Bronze awards at Cannes Lions 2026 for "The Kaprao Criminals", a KFC Thailand campaign, and a Grand Prix at the Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards 2025 for Telkomsel's "The Most Important Unimportant Call".

Best for: brands that want a large network behind a Thai campaign. Ask which people in Bangkok would run the account day to day, since the site speaks mostly of the group.

Homepage of Grey Thailand
Grey's homepage features network campaigns such as Pantene's Pet Pit and Coca-Cola's You Must Love Coke.

4. Grey Thailand

Grey Thailand has a Bangkok office on Rama 4 Road, according to Grey's site. The network says it ranks among the world's top advertising and marketing agencies and serves one-fifth of the FORTUNE 500, a claim made on its own site. The homepage shows network campaigns rather than only Thai work, including Pantene's Pet Pit, Coca-Cola's You Must Love Coke and the Bandhan Mutual Fund's The Equal Calculator.

Best for: brands that want a global network's creative standards with a local office. Ask which of the case studies were made in Bangkok, since the homepage mostly shows work from elsewhere.

Homepage of Cheil Thailand
Cheil's homepage presents its work for Samsung and its capabilities in brand experience.

5. Cheil Thailand

Cheil Thailand is the Thai subsidiary of the Cheil network, and its site lists an office in Empire Tower on Sathon Road in Bangkok. The network says it employs over 8000 people and offers brand management, e-commerce, retail, exhibitions, events and CRM. Its work page features Samsung, including a Galaxy AI campaign, and the Frenemies project.

Best for: brands that want experience and retail work alongside advertising. The site describes the network more than the Thai team, so ask for the Thai case studies and the people who would work on them.

Homepage of McCann Worldgroup Thailand
McCann's homepage highlights campaigns for L'Oréal Paris, Mastercard and Xbox.

6. McCann Worldgroup Thailand

McCann Worldgroup Thailand has a Bangkok office on North Sathorn Road, according to the network's site. The homepage shows work for L'Oréal Paris, including the film The Final Copy of Ilon Specht, and for Instacart, Mastercard, Xbox and Aldi. The site says more than 75% of people who saw the L'Oréal film said it changed their view of the brand, a figure we did not verify.

Best for: brands that want a large network's creative for emotional or purpose-led campaigns. The homepage is network-wide, so ask which Bangkok team would run the account.

Homepage of the Bangkok agency dotMATTERS
dotMATTERS lists its awards from 2024 and 2025 on its homepage.

7. dotMATTERS

dotMATTERS calls itself an optimisation studio, and its site gives its address as Wang Mai, Pathum Wan, in Bangkok. Its homepage lists awards from 2024 and 2025, including Best LINE Ads at the LINE Thailand Awards 2025, a Silver Award as Thailand Independent Agency of the Year 2025, and Rising Star in Branding Effectiveness at the Meta Agency First Awards 2025. It describes an approach that optimises creativity, media and technology using accurate data and marketing intelligence.

Best for: brands that want creative and media planning handled with a data-led method. The awards are listed on the site and we did not check them, so ask for the results behind the LINE and Meta work.

Homepage of the Bangkok agency Choojai & Friends
Choojai & Friends presents its projects for brands such as Rexona and Cornetto.

8. Choojai & Friends

Choojai & Friends gives its address as Sukhumvit 24 Road in Bangkok. Its projects page lists film and campaign work for Rexona, Cornetto, Wacoal and Srichand, among others, and the homepage shows its projects under their brand names.

Best for: brands that want short films and creative campaigns. The site says little about process or pricing, so ask for a written scope with the production steps and the number of revision rounds.

Homepage of the Bangkok agency Marketyze
Marketyze's homepage explains its three-month trial and its fixed monthly fee.

9. Marketyze

Marketyze is a digital marketing agency with an address on Sukhumvit 26 in Bangkok. It runs Meta, Google and TikTok advertising for e-commerce brands, service businesses and B2B companies, with SEO and AEO sprints alongside. Its site describes a three-month trial, then a monthly subscription with one month's notice, and one monthly fee agreed before work starts, with extras such as a shoot or a LINE setup quoted first. Its meta description says prices start from ฿59000 a month.

Best for: brands that want a small team on paid social and search with clear exit terms. Check who the project manager is, and what the fixed fee leaves out.

Homepage of MCIX Thailand
MCIX Thailand's homepage leads with its social content work and its #1 claim.

10. MCIX Thailand

MCIX Thailand is a social content and media buying agency. Its site gives the address of MCIX Thailand Co., Ltd on Soi Ramkhamhaeng 115 in Bangkok. The homepage calls it the #1 social media content creative agency for brands in Asia, a claim we report as its own. It offers social-first content and media buying across Meta, Google, TikTok, LINE and programmatic channels, says it works in Thailand, Singapore and Myanmar, and lists awards such as Ad Brand of the Year.

Best for: online brands that need social content made for TikTok and Meta at pace. The text we reviewed names few clients, so ask for a client list and results before you sign.

The 10 agencies compared on what matters to buyers

The four criteria were chosen before we checked who meets them, and each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own site. "Not published" means the text we reviewed does not show that information, not that the agency lacks it. Ask the agencies directly before drawing conclusions from a gap.

What should you check before signing?

Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any showreel, and each one matches one of the fears above.

1. Who owns the ad accounts, the pixel and the customer data? The answer should be in writing, and the brand should be able to move its campaigns to another agency without losing its history.

2. Who writes and approves the Thai copy, and does the plan include LINE? The quote should name the Thai writer and the person who approves each text, and say whether LINE is part of the plan.

3. Which result will be measured, and against what starting point? Agree on one or two indicators you already track, such as enquiries, sales or appointments, and record their level before the first campaign runs.

Where does this ranking stop?

Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.

It is built only on public information. We read what each agency publishes on its own site and checked the Bangkok address. We did not visit a client, verify an award or measure a campaign. An agency that communicates little and works well will be underrated here.

It cannot know your category. A hotel group, a consumer brand and a B2B software company do not need the same partner. The "Best for" lines matter more than the order of the list.

It ages. Agencies in Bangkok merge, change names and move offices, and the Bangkok filter depends on what each site says today. This page is reviewed every 90 days, and the review date is stated in the method.

What can an agency do that software cannot?

This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software on everything that requires understanding a brand's market in Thailand, making choices about tone and cultural detail, and taking responsibility for a result it does not fully control. Knowing which message a Thai shopper will read in LINE, deciding what to cut from a brief, and writing copy that sounds like the brand rather than a template are judgement calls. For a broader view of when hiring an agency makes more sense than running a channel in house, see our agency guide.

What no agency project solves on its own is what happens after launch. AI assistants and search engines read more than the homepage: they draw on guides, comparison pages and articles, and a site that is well made but never updated remains a weak source for them.

That is what Sorank works on. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site, and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.

Conclusion

If you want a single recommendation: CJ WORX for creative film and social campaigns with named work, Convert Cake for paid media that must answer to sales, Marketyze for a fixed monthly fee and a short trial, and dotMATTERS for creative work with a data-led method. Whichever you choose, ask who owns the ad accounts before you ask what the campaign will look like.

If you are still weighing an agency against running the work in house, our agency guide sets out the trade-offs, and the checks above will tell you quickly which Bangkok agency deserves a second call.
