The 10 best SEO content creators in France to follow in 2027: newsletters, YouTube, LinkedIn and blogs, ranked by regularity, depth, teaching and independence.

In short
Thibault Besson-Magdelain is the best overall choice among the best SEO content creators in France: his YouTube channel (532 videos) shows entrepreneurs and small businesses how to be visible on Google and in AI assistants, with concrete cases and tutorials. Dimitri Ageon is the alternative: his weekly newsletter « Le Dojo du SEO », his LinkedIn posts and his TikTok account @astuces_seo turn the latest changes (AI Overviews, the Google listing inside ChatGPT, AI agents) into actions a small business can apply in a few minutes. Aymeric Bouillat suits readers who want depth rather than frequency: his blog Yapasdequoi publishes few articles, but each one is a long, documented technical test. Jean SEO is the better fit for tradespeople who want to rank locally, and Lucie Rondelet for entrepreneurs who write their own content. The right creator depends first on your level and on the format you actually read, watch or listen to.

Following the best SEO content creators in France is the cheapest way to keep up with a field that never stops moving. Google itself says that in 2023 it ran 4781 launches and 719326 search quality tests, according to Google's How Search Works page on rigorous testing. Nobody reads all of that alone. This ranking brings together ten French-speaking creators who publish about SEO and, more and more, about visibility in AI assistants, checked one by one, and says for each which reader and which level they suit.
Creators are no longer a niche way to get informed in France. In its Digital News Report 2026, published on 16 June 2026, the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism finds that 29% of French respondents say they get some news from creators, while only 3% say creators meet all of their news needs, according to the France page of the Reuters Institute Digital News Report 2026, written by Alice Antheaume.
The same institute also shows that creators still play a smaller role in France than in many other countries: 16% of French respondents regularly pay attention to creators and influencers on social and video networks, against 24% for news brands and journalists, according to the Reuters Institute report Mapping News Creators and Influencers in Social and Video Networks (October 2025). In other words, a creator works best as a complement to reference sources, not as a replacement.
Four reasons, from the point of view of someone who wants to learn SEO and keep up with it.
Several creators on this list, such as Aymeric Bouillat and Alexandra Martin, also work as consultants. If what you need is someone to work on your site rather than content to learn from, our ranking of the best SEO consultants in France covers that case.
Four criteria, fixed before looking at who would come out on top, and applied only to what each creator publishes on their own pages and accounts. Every account on this list was reviewed on 22 October 2026.
1. Regularity. Dated content in 2026, and a rhythm you can count on: a weekly newsletter counts for more than a burst of posts followed by months of silence.
2. Depth and accuracy. Tests, sources and examples count for more than opinions. A creator who shows how they reached a conclusion comes before one who only states it.
3. Teaching. Content that a reader at a given level can apply, with a clear audience: beginners, small businesses, technical SEOs, writers.
4. Independence. Content that teaches something even if you never buy anything from the creator. Selling a service is fine; a feed that only promotes an offer is not.
What I deliberately did not do: I did not estimate any audience. When a creator does not publish a follower or subscriber count, the table says « Not published ». I did not keep any creator without public activity in 2026 in the top 10. I did not include brand accounts of publishers of competing SEO software. And I did not count likes or views, which say little about what you will learn.
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as someone who follows these creators every week, not a paid placement. I am Thibault Besson-Magdelain, founder of Sorank, and no creator on this page paid to appear in it.
Thibault Besson-Magdelain publishes mainly on YouTube, where his channel has 532 videos under the line « Je vous partage comment être référencé sur Google et dans les IA, simplement ». It is made for entrepreneurs and small businesses that want to be visible on Google and in AI assistants such as ChatGPT. His latest long videos mix concrete cases with tutorials: « SEO IA +22000€ de ventes sur Google et ChatGPT », published about three weeks before this review, a video on AI SEO articles built with your own photos about a month before, one on getting free backlinks about three months before, and one on a Chrome extension for SEO and GEO. He also sends a weekly newsletter on SEO and GEO news and posts on LinkedIn and Instagram. His published audience is 4.84k subscribers on YouTube; the other audiences are not published. He is the founder of Sorank, an AI SEO software.
Best for: entrepreneurs and small businesses that prefer video and want to see the method applied step by step. Advanced technical SEOs will find more depth in tests like those of Aymeric Bouillat.

Olivier Duffez created WebRankInfo in 2002, and the site presents itself as the largest French-speaking SEO community, with an active forum where readers ask for opinions on tools and agencies. He publishes in-depth guides on Google and, more and more, on visibility in AI assistants: in 2026 his dated pages include a guide to query fan-out (26 January), a GEO glossary covering RAG, tokens and embeddings (29 January), a list of AI crawlers (27 April), how to measure traffic from AI tools in GA4 and Matomo (16 June) and the Grounding Queries report in Bing Webmaster Tools (1 July). His guide on being cited in Google's AI Overviews and AI Mode was updated on 20 September 2026. He also writes the LinkedIn newsletter « Décryptage SEO » and has a YouTube channel. His audience is not published. He sells SEO and GEO audits and support as a consultant in Toulouse through WebRankExpert, and he publishes the SEO audit platform My Ranking Metrics.
Best for: beginners and professionals alike who want reference guides they can come back to, kept up to date as Google and AI assistants change. These are long dossiers rather than quick tips: readers who want a short weekly read will prefer a newsletter from this list.

Amandine Bart makes SEO accessible to people who are not specialists. Her newsletter « Apprendre le SEO sans migraine » promises simple, actionable SEO content by email, and its page states more than 18000 subscribers. Its rhythm is close to weekly: six editions went out between 2 September and 13 October 2026, on the Google update of October 2026, the new features of Search Console, the fourth pillar of SEO and what AI can and cannot replace in SEO tools; earlier editions covered AI Overviews and whether to do GEO. She also publishes on LinkedIn and on the YouTube channel SEO Sans Migraine (4.28k subscribers), with Shorts and long live replays such as « Comment fonctionne le SEO sur les différentes IA ? ». In February 2026 she published the book « SEO sans migraine » (Éditions Diateino). She is the founder of the SEO agency SEO Sans Migraine and created the writing tool Rédiger sans Migraine.
Best for: entrepreneurs and marketers who are not SEO specialists and want to learn step by step, without jargon. Advanced technical SEOs will find the content introductory.

Dimitri Ageon publishes on LinkedIn, sends the weekly newsletter « Le Dojo du SEO » and posts SEO tips on the TikTok account @astuces_seo. The newsletter is one of the most regular formats on this list: editions #43 to #48 went out between September and October 2026, the latest on 21 October 2026. His topics follow the news closely (AI Overviews, the Google listing inside ChatGPT, AI agents) and aim at actions a small business can apply in a few minutes. He has also produced the podcast « Zéro à Héros en SEO », which has 277 episodes, although no 2026 episode was found. His published audience is 21.1k on TikTok and 20.0k on LinkedIn. He is the founder of the agency Info Conception, which sells SEO services.
Best for: owners of small businesses and beginners who want one short, practical read a week. Advanced technical SEOs will find the content too introductory, and the podcast archive is no longer the place to look for the latest news.

Aymeric Bouillat is a technical SEO consultant who publishes long, documented tests on his blog Yapasdequoi, and shares his monitoring of the field on X and LinkedIn. In September 2026 he published a sorting of the Google search operators and URL parameters that still work, in articles of 14 to 16 minutes of reading published on 10 and 23 September 2026. His rhythm is spaced out, but each article is the kind French-speaking technical SEOs bookmark and come back to. His published audience on X is 3.0k. He also sells technical SEO consulting.
Best for: intermediate and advanced SEOs who want verified answers on how Google actually behaves. Beginners will need some background first, and readers who want a weekly update will find the rhythm too slow.

Jean SEO is a YouTuber dedicated to local SEO and to the Google Business Profile listing. He publishes long tutorials and Shorts on YouTube, and also posts on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. Between 18 and 30 July 2026, six videos were published on his site jean-seo.com, about the Google listing, Google's 2026 rules and ChatGPT, for example on how to optimise a plumber's Google listing. His surname is not published. His published audience is 11.2k subscribers on YouTube and 2.7k on TikTok.
Best for: tradespeople and very small businesses that want to be visible on Google Maps and in local results, and that prefer watching to reading. His content stays on local SEO: for a national site or for technical SEO, look elsewhere on this list.

Alexandra Martin is an SEO consultant in Nantes who publishes on LinkedIn and on her blog Miss SEO Girl. Her articles cover netlinking, internal linking and local SEO, with an approach she describes as ethical SEO. What sets her apart is the expert round tables she runs on her blog, such as « Les tendances SEO pour 2026 » and the netlinking trends for 2026, which bring together many voices from the French-speaking SEO community in a single page. Her published audience on LinkedIn is 11.4k. She also sells SEO consulting.
Best for: independents and small businesses that want an accessible view of netlinking and content, and readers who like comparing several experts' opinions in one place. A round table gathers opinions rather than tests: read it as a starting point.
Lucie Rondelet publishes YouTube videos on SEO writing, copywriting, content strategy and the impact of AI on web writing, and develops the same topics on Instagram and in her podcast « La Pause Rédac ». Her channel is the reference for SEO writing in French on video, with the largest published audience on this list: 37.2k YouTube subscribers, plus 6.6k on her personal Instagram account. In 2026 she was a guest on podcasts about web writing in the age of AI. The dates of her latest videos could not be read during this review. She is the founder of Formation Rédaction Web, which sells training in web writing.
Best for: entrepreneurs and freelance writers who produce their own content and want to write pages that rank. Her angle is writing more than technical SEO, and her recent publishing rhythm could not be checked.

Fabien Raquidel is a freelance SEO and GEO consultant who comments on Google updates, e-commerce SEO and ChatGPT on X, LinkedIn and Instagram. X is where he is strongest: with 24.2k followers, he has the largest X audience among the French-speaking SEO creators reviewed for this ranking. He also publishes 6.9k on LinkedIn and 3.2k on Instagram. He sells SEO and GEO consulting through his site referenceur-web.pro.
Best for: readers who follow SEO news on X and want quick reactions to Google updates, especially for online stores. Short posts are a news feed, not a course: pair them with a deeper source from this list. His publishing rhythm is not published.

Sylvain Charbit is a technical SEO consultant in Brittany who sends a newsletter every Monday on technical SEO and AI search, and also publishes articles and video tutorials. His 2026 articles cover the AI report in Search Console and an SEO and AEO strategy for 2027. He also offers small free tools, such as a checklist and simulators, which are resources rather than software. His audience is not published. He sells technical SEO consulting.
Best for: SEOs who want a weekly technical read that connects classic SEO and visibility in AI assistants. Complete beginners may find some topics technical.
Each cell reflects what the creator publishes on their own pages and accounts as of 22 October 2026. When a piece of information is not published, the cell says so.

Three habits that make the difference between scrolling and learning.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It is based on public information. I read what each creator publishes and checked their accounts on 22 October 2026. Some platforms, such as LinkedIn or YouTube, could not always be read in full, so some rhythms are marked « Not published ». A creator who publishes very well but quietly will be underrated here.
It reflects one reader's opinion. The criteria were fixed in advance, but the weight given to depth, regularity or teaching is a personal choice. Another SEO would rank some creators differently, and that is healthy.
It ages. Creators change rhythm, stop a newsletter or move to another platform. Check that the account is still active before you subscribe.
A creator explains what changes in SEO and in AI assistants, and how to think about it. They do not know your site, your keywords or your competitors, and they will not write and publish your pages every week.
That is what Sorank automates: after an audit of your site, the software finds your keywords, writes and publishes articles optimised for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. To see it on your own site, book a call. Many readers combine the two: creators to understand, software to apply.
The best SEO creator is the one who speaks to your level, in a format you will actually keep up with. For video tutorials on being visible on Google and in AI assistants, Thibault Besson-Magdelain. For one practical read a week, Dimitri Ageon. For verified technical answers, Aymeric Bouillat, with Sylvain Charbit for a weekly technical newsletter. For local SEO, Jean SEO. For writing pages that rank, Lucie Rondelet. For news on X, Fabien Raquidel. And if you prefer reading in your inbox, our selection of the best SEO newsletters goes further.
Other French-speaking SEO creators spotted during this review, outside the ranking, presented solely on the basis of what they publish.
| Creator | Main account | What they publish |
|---|---|---|
| Matthieu Verne | lesmakers.fr/newsletter | Founder of Referenseo and Les Makers: newsletter every Monday (« 22000 Makers » displayed), videos on Wednesdays and Sundays, and SEO guides on Referenseo between July and September 2026; affiliation, tools and freelancing also take a large share |
| Guillaume Guersan | SEO and Ads consultant publishing on LinkedIn, YouTube and his blog about SEO, netlinking and link-building platforms, with articles dated 25 September, 30 September and 14 October 2026 (more than 40k followers stated on LinkedIn) | |
| Vincent Brossas | LEPTIDIGITAL author page | Founder of the webzine LEPTIDIGITAL (2014), where he publishes SEO and Google news; in 2026 his author page covers the launch of AI Overviews in France, and he was a guest on the podcast DigitalMarketing4Pros about SEO and generative AI (13.0k followers on LinkedIn) |
| Alexis Rylko | newsletter.alekseo.com | Newsletter « SEO, Data & Growth » with studies on the answers of ChatGPT, AI Overview and Perplexity, including a study of 1200 « best » prompts on 14 October 2026; irregular, roughly monthly rhythm |

| Romain Pirotte | YouTube | YouTube videos on black hat SEO, netlinking and affiliation, for experienced readers; he also organises the House Of Business event |
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Thibault Besson-Magdelain is the best overall choice: his YouTube channel and its 532 videos show entrepreneurs and small businesses how to be visible on Google and in AI assistants, with concrete cases and tutorials. The alternative is Dimitri Ageon, whose weekly newsletter « Le Dojo du SEO » and LinkedIn posts turn the latest SEO and AI changes into actions a small business can apply in a few minutes.
Thibault Besson-Magdelain on YouTube for step by step videos on Google and AI visibility, Dimitri Ageon for one practical read a week, Jean SEO on YouTube for local SEO and the Google listing, and Lucie Rondelet for writing pages that rank. Aymeric Bouillat and Sylvain Charbit are better suited to readers who already have technical SEO knowledge.
Most of them sell something, such as consulting, training, agency work or software, and the ranking says so for each one: Thibault Besson-Magdelain, for example, founded Sorank, an AI SEO software. They were ranked on regularity, depth and accuracy, teaching and independence, and the ranking reflects the author's opinion, not a paid placement.
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU
