The 10 best French web design creators to follow in 2027: WordPress, Webflow, Framer and AI tutorials, ranked by regularity, depth and teaching level.

In short
Alex Borto is the best overall choice among the best web design content creators in France: through WPMarmite he publishes WordPress tutorials and plugin tests every week on a blog and a YouTube channel with 72.4k subscribers, plus a monthly podcast. Alexis FH is the alternative: his YouTube channel (71.3k subscribers, more than 560 videos) walks independents through WordPress, hosting and tools step by step, with the newsletter WP Origami for the news. Web Marketing Tuto suits beginners who want one long, free course from A to Z, Valentin Heinly suits freelancers who want to make a living selling websites, and Coriace and Digidop suit readers who build with Framer or Webflow rather than WordPress. The right creator depends first on the tool you build with and on your level.

Following the best web design content creators in France is the cheapest way to learn how to build a website and to keep up with tools that change every few months. The market they teach is huge: CMS-driven sites account for over 54% of observed websites, and WordPress powers roughly 64% of CMS-driven sites, according to the CMS chapter of the HTTP Archive Web Almanac 2025, published on 15 January 2026. This ranking brings together ten French-speaking creators who teach website creation with WordPress, Webflow, Framer and now AI tools, checked one by one, and says for each which reader and which level they suit.
Video and creators now sit right next to official documentation. In its 2025 Developer Survey, Stack Overflow found that 50% of respondents learned to code in the past year with videos not tied to a specific course, 34.8% with blogs or podcasts and 67.8% with technical documentation, out of 33454 answers to the question, according to the developers section of the Stack Overflow 2025 Developer Survey. The same survey counts 44% who used AI tools to learn, which matches what several creators on this list now teach: building a site with Claude Code, Framer's AI agents or Elementor's AI.
Learning fast does not mean building well. In its 2026 report, based on results from February 2026, WebAIM detected WCAG 2 accessibility failures on 95.9% of the top one million home pages, with an average of 56.1 errors per page, according to The WebAIM Million 2026. A good creator shows you how to finish a site properly, not only how to get it online in 20 minutes.
Four reasons, from the point of view of someone who wants to learn web design and keep up with it.
Several creators on this list, such as Florian Bodelot with Digidop and Julien Dumas and Julien Morthier, also run agencies. If what you need is a team to build your site rather than content to learn from, our ranking of the best web design agencies in France covers that case.
Four criteria, fixed before looking at who would come out on top, and applied only to what each creator publishes on their own pages and accounts. Every account on this list was reviewed on 22 October 2026.
1. Regularity. Dated content in 2026, and a rhythm you can count on: a weekly blog or a channel with a video every few days counts for more than a burst followed by months of silence.
2. Depth and accuracy. Complete builds, real tests and up to date versions count for more than lists of tips. A creator who shows the result on screen comes before one who only describes it.
3. Teaching. Content that a reader at a given level can apply, with a clear audience: beginners building their first site, freelancers delivering sites for clients, no-code builders, WordPress developers.
4. Independence. Content that teaches something even if you never buy anything from the creator. Selling a course or a service is fine; a feed that only promotes an offer is not.
What I deliberately did not do: I did not estimate any audience. When a creator does not publish a follower or subscriber count, the table says « Not published ». I did not keep any creator without public activity in 2026 in the top 10. I did not include brand accounts of publishers of competing SEO software. And I did not count likes or views, which say little about what you will learn.
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as someone who follows these creators every week, not a paid placement. I am Thibault Besson-Magdelain, founder of Sorank, and no creator on this page paid to appear in it.
Alex Borto is the founder of WPMarmite, which publishes WordPress tutorials, plugin tests and guides on a blog, a YouTube channel, a newsletter and a podcast. The rhythm is the most dependable on this list: about one blog article a week (13 October, 7 October and 30 September 2026), 681 videos on the WPMarmite channel with the latest on 20 October 2026, and the monthly podcast « WordPress côté business ». What sets WPMarmite apart is its breadth: it covers WordPress from the first install to running the site over time, for beginners and for service providers. His published audience is 72.4k subscribers on YouTube, a newsletter announced at 20.0k, 20.0k on Facebook and 8.0k on LinkedIn. His personal YouTube channel, more focused on business, is less active.
Best for: anyone who builds or runs a WordPress site and wants one reliable source to follow every week, from beginner to intermediate level. Readers building with Webflow or Framer should look further down this list.

Alexis FH publishes WordPress tutorials, host comparisons and tool tests on YouTube, where his channel has 569 videos, the latest on 16 October 2026. He adapts the same topics for TikTok and sends the newsletter WP Origami, which follows WordPress news such as WordPress 7.0 and new plugins. His videos are step by step builds that an independent can follow while building their own site. His published audience is 71.3k subscribers on YouTube, 12.1k on TikTok, 8.0k on the newsletter and 3.5k on Instagram. According to his Facebook page, he is linked to the host Copilhost.
Best for: independents and small business owners who build their site themselves and learn best by watching. Keep in mind his link with a host when he compares hosting offers.

Web Marketing Tuto is the YouTube channel that Julien Dumas and Julien Morthier have run since 2012, devoted to building WordPress sites and to web marketing. They publish complete, free courses for creating a WordPress site from A to Z, and they follow new tools: their latest video, on 20 October 2026, is « Claude Code : créer un site WordPress avec Elementor ». The channel has 286 videos, fewer than its neighbours on this list, but they are long and complete. Its published audience is 99.7k subscribers on YouTube, the largest in this top 10. The pair also run a digital agency and sell training through their academy.
Best for: complete beginners who want one long course to follow from start to finish. Readers who want a short weekly update will find the format heavy.

Enzo Gaillard is the founder of Easy WordPress and publishes simple, jargon free WordPress, Elementor and WooCommerce tutorials on his YouTube channel « Enzo - Les WebMasters 2.0 », which has 587 videos, the latest on 12 October 2026. His step by step videos, such as « créer un site professionnel de A à Z en 20 min », target entrepreneurs building a showcase site or an online shop for the first time. He also runs the Facebook group Club WordPress. His published audience is 67.8k subscribers on YouTube and 7.1k on TikTok. He sells the courses WordPress Mastery, Woocommerce Elite and Boosteur de Trafic, and trains freelancers.
Best for: entrepreneurs building their first site or their first WooCommerce shop. Advanced users and developers will find the content too introductory.

Valentin Heinly covers the business side of web design: selling websites, finding clients, setting prices and structuring a web agency, including analyses of other agencies' models. His YouTube channel has 357 videos, the latest on 13 October 2026. He is the only creator in this top 10 whose angle is the trade rather than the tools. His published audience is 33.4k subscribers on YouTube and 6.0k on Instagram. He is the founder of the Heinly Académie.
Best for: freelancers and small agencies who already know how to build a site and want to make a living from it. If you are still learning to build, start with a technical creator from this list.

Coriace publishes free video courses for building websites without code with Framer, Webflow and Figma, and more and more with AI tools. Recent videos include building a professional site with Framer's AI agents (28 June 2026), « Claude Design : créer un site de A à Z » (15 July 2026) and translating a site (8 September 2026), which works out at about one video a month. Its published audience is 17.6k subscribers on YouTube. The founder's name, Aurélien Gallier, comes from a third-party comparison; the Coriace site itself does not name him. Coriace sells no-code training and claims more than 13000 students.
Best for: designers, career changers and freelancers who want to build with Framer or Webflow rather than WordPress. The rhythm is slower than the WordPress channels above.

Florian Bodelot is the co-founder of Digidop, a Webflow agency, and its main face on video. With his team, he publishes Webflow tutorials in French on YouTube, TikTok and the Digidop blog, along with content on web design and the SEO and GEO of Webflow sites. The YouTube channel has 479 videos, the latest on 4 October 2026. The content is an agency's work, carried by several team members, and the Substack newsletter is written by Lucas Clairet. The published audience is 12.8k subscribers on YouTube, 7.63k on TikTok, 2.9k on Instagram and 1.2k on the newsletter. Digidop sells Webflow site creation.
Best for: companies and freelancers who build on Webflow and want the deepest French-language library on it. If you do not use Webflow, most of the content will not apply to you.

Cédric Dintimille is a website creator (Com64) and trainer who publishes WordPress and Elementor tutorials and tests on YouTube. His channel has 72 videos, the latest on 17 October 2026: « J'ai testé Angie (IA Elementor) », a test of Elementor's new AI tool for building pages. His videos are those of a practitioner who delivers showcase sites and online shops for clients. His published audience is 6.03k subscribers on YouTube. He sells website creation and training.
Best for: WordPress and Elementor users who want honest tests of new tools before using them on a client site. The catalogue is smaller than the larger channels on this list.

Carole Petithomme is a WordPress coach who publishes one practical article a month on the Mon Coach WP blog: 23 June, 15 July, 9 August, 11 September and 13 October 2026. Her recent topics include building a WordPress site with AI (October), migrating a site (August) and dangerous plugins (June). She writes for independents who manage their own site, which makes each article directly applicable. Her audience is not published. She sells WordPress coaching.
Best for: independents who run their own WordPress site and prefer one clear written guide a month to a video feed. Readers who want daily news will find the rhythm slow.
Grégoire Noyelle is a WordPress developer and trainer who publishes articles, a newsletter and videos on Full Site Editing, WooCommerce and the use of Claude Code and other LLMs with WordPress. His recent articles cover Claude Code with Gutenberg, Claude skills and WordPress plugins, and making a WordPress site ready for the MCP. Their dates are not displayed, so his rhythm is not published. He is one of the few French-speaking trainers documenting in detail what AI changes for WordPress site builders. His published audience is 1.665k on X and 0.396k on YouTube. He sells WordPress training and development.
Best for: WordPress developers and advanced builders who want to work with AI and the block editor. Beginners will find the topics technical.

Each cell reflects what the creator publishes on their own pages and accounts as of 22 October 2026. When a piece of information is not published, the cell says so.

Three habits that make the difference between watching and learning.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It is based on public information. I read what each creator publishes and checked their accounts on 22 October 2026. Some dates, such as those of Grégoire Noyelle's articles, are not displayed, so some rhythms are marked « Not published ». A creator who publishes very well but quietly will be underrated here.
It reflects one reader's opinion. The criteria were fixed in advance, but the weight given to regularity, depth or teaching is a personal choice. Another web designer would rank some creators differently, and that is healthy.
It leans towards WordPress. Most French-speaking creators who publish regularly teach WordPress, which shows in this top 10. Readers on Shopify, Wix or other builders will find fewer resources here.
A creator teaches you how to build a website and which tool to choose. Once the site is online, they do not know your market, your keywords or your competitors, and they will not write and publish your pages every week so that the site gets found.
That is what Sorank automates: after an audit of your site, the software finds your keywords, writes and publishes articles optimised for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. To see it on your own site, book a call. Many readers combine the two: creators to build the site, software to bring it visitors.
The best web design creator is the one who builds with your tool, at your level. For a weekly WordPress source from first install to running a site, Alex Borto and WPMarmite. For step by step videos and host tests, Alexis FH. For a full free course from A to Z, Web Marketing Tuto, with Enzo Gaillard for a first site or a first shop. For selling websites, Valentin Heinly. For Framer and no-code, Coriace; for Webflow, Florian Bodelot and Digidop. For AI and WordPress at an advanced level, Grégoire Noyelle. And once your site is live and you want it to bring in visitors, discover Sorank.
Other French-speaking web design creators spotted during this review, outside the ranking, presented solely on the basis of what they publish.

|---|---|---|
| Fabrice Ducarme | wpformation.com | Founder of WPFormation: WordPress guides on security, SEO and GEO, with pillar articles in 2026 on headless WordPress (March) and GEO for WordPress (February); a more spaced out rhythm in 2026 (6.838k on X) |

This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Alex Borto is the best overall choice: through WPMarmite he publishes WordPress tutorials and plugin tests every week on a blog and a YouTube channel with 72.4k subscribers, plus a monthly podcast. Alexis FH is the alternative, with step by step WordPress videos and host tests followed by 71.3k subscribers.
Coriace publishes free courses on Framer, Webflow and AI tools at about one video a month, and Florian Bodelot and the Digidop team publish hundreds of Webflow tutorials in French on YouTube, TikTok and their blog.
On four criteria fixed in advance (regularity, depth and accuracy, teaching, independence), applied to what each creator publishes on their own accounts as reviewed on 22 October 2026. No audience was estimated, and the ranking reflects the opinion of Thibault Besson-Magdelain, founder of Sorank, not a paid placement.
