The short answer

France has very few agencies that are genuinely app first. Four of them build their offer around mobile applications and app store optimisation, and the rest are strong digital agencies whose search and paid media practices serve app publishers among other clients. Ad4Screen ranks first because app marketing is the whole point of the agency, and because its offer runs from store optimisation to paid acquisition, creative production and retargeting.

Here is the full ranking, with what each agency says it does and the situation it suits best.

1. Ad4Screen. App marketing and mobile performance, end to end. Best for publishers who want one partner for the whole app.

2. Addict Mobile. Mobile performance, acquisition plus creative and ASO. Best for scaling paid installs.

3. Adenlab. The same group, positioned on every search surface at once. Best when the app is one channel among several.

4. AppASO. Store optimisation as the core trade. Best for a listing that needs work before any media spend.

5. Eskimoz. Global search acquisition across several countries. Best for apps launching in several markets.

6. Noiise. A broad digital agency with a deep search practice. Best for publishers who also have a web product.

7. Ad's up Consulting. Paid search, social ads and programmatic. Best for media buying at volume.

8. datashake. A digital acceleration group built on data and tracking. Best when measurement is the weak point.

9. Adelantee. Growth marketing across paid, organic and CRM. Best for smaller publishers.

10. Digitalised. Lead generation and tracking focused. Best for apps that monetise through sign ups.

Why app marketing is a separate trade in 2026

An app is the only product where a stranger decides in one screen, from a title, an icon and three screenshots. Nothing else in digital marketing compresses a purchase decision that hard. That single screen is why app store optimisation exists as a trade, and why an agency that is excellent at Google Ads is not automatically good at it.

The second reason is measurement. Between the store, the attribution tool and the paid platforms, an app publisher juggles three sources that rarely agree. Agencies that have worked on mobile for years carry that plumbing with them, and it is most of what you are paying for in the first two months.

The third reason is newer. People now ask an assistant which app to use for a given need, and the answer is built from articles, comparisons and reviews published outside the stores. Store visibility and web visibility have started to feed each other.

How we ranked these agencies

We used four criteria, in this order, and only what each agency publishes about itself.

1. Is the app the subject, or a client type? Agencies whose homepage is built around applications come first. Digital agencies that serve app publishers among others come after.

2. How much of the chain is covered. Store listing, paid acquisition, creative production, retargeting and measurement are five jobs. Agencies that own all five ask less of you.

3. Creative production in house. Mobile acquisition burns through ad creatives faster than any other channel. An agency that produces them internally iterates in days rather than weeks.

4. Whether the site is alive and clear. We looked at every homepage in our list, in August 2026. Agencies whose site was offline, blocked or reduced to a holding page were removed, whatever a directory still says about them.

We did not rank on revenue, headcount or client results, because those numbers are either unpublished or impossible to verify from the outside.

The 10 best app marketing and ASO agencies in France

1. Ad4Screen

Ad4Screen presents itself as an app marketing and mobile performance agency, and its expertise pages read like a full mobile stack: app marketing and growth, ASO next to SEO and generative search, paid search, social advertising, display and programmatic, CRM and retargeting, a creative studio for ads, user generated content and gamification, and a data, tracking and training practice. For a publisher, that means the store listing, the media buying and the creatives are argued in the same room.

Best for: publishers who want the whole app funnel handled by one team.

2. Addict Mobile

Addict Mobile describes itself as a performance marketing agency for mobile, organised around four blocks: acquisition with precise tracking, creative production tested and iterated continuously, user generated content, and a conversion and ASO practice that turns store traffic into revenue. The emphasis on creative volume is the tell of an agency that has actually scaled paid installs.

Best for: publishers ready to spend on user acquisition and needing creatives at that pace.

Addict Mobile pairs acquisition with continuous creative production and ASO.

3. Adenlab

Adenlab belongs to the same group as Ad4Screen and shares its expertise pages, but the positioning is wider: bringing every point of search into one strategy, from app marketing and growth to ASO, SEO, generative search, paid search and social advertising. Where Ad4Screen speaks to a publisher, Adenlab speaks to a company whose app is one surface among several.

Best for: brands whose app, website and store presence should follow one search strategy.

4. AppASO

AppASO puts its speciality in its name. It is one of the few French structures whose identity is app store optimisation itself rather than a mobile media practice. If your listing has never been reworked, that is where the cheapest wins are: the same paid traffic converts differently against a rewritten title and a first screenshot that answers the objection.

Best for: a listing that has not been touched since launch.

AppASO is named after the trade it practises, app store optimisation.

5. Eskimoz

Eskimoz positions itself as a global search acquisition agency, working across several countries with a service list that runs from organic search, generative search visibility and netlinking to paid media, retail media, conversion optimisation, data and a content factory. For an app that launches in several markets at once, the ability to run the same search strategy country by country matters more than mobile specialisation.

Best for: apps launching internationally that need search coverage in every market.

6. Noiise

Noiise is a broad French digital agency with a deep search practice: organic search and audits, netlinking, generative search, paid search and social ads, site creation and rebuilds, content marketing and web writing. App publishers almost always have a web product next to the app, and Noiise is built for that pair.

Best for: publishers whose app and website should be worked together.

7. Ad's up Consulting

Ad's up Consulting describes itself as a consulting firm for paid search, social ads, organic search and programmatic display, with a data consulting practice and a stated focus on media mix rather than single channel performance. For an app publisher, the useful part is the arbitration between platforms once the acquisition budget gets large enough to hurt.

Best for: publishers buying media at volume across several platforms.

8. datashake

datashake presents itself as a digital acceleration group covering paid search and paid social, organic and generative search, CRM, an AI creative studio, and tracking and data. Measurement is the part it leads with, and measurement is where most app acquisition budgets quietly leak.

Best for: publishers whose numbers never reconcile between the store, the attribution tool and the ad platforms.

9. Adelantee

Adelantee is a growth and web marketing agency whose services span paid search, organic search, social advertising, CRM marketing, affiliation and training. The interesting part for a small publisher is the training: an agency that teaches your team as it works costs less over two years than one that does not.

Best for: small teams that want to learn the channels while they are being run.

10. Digitalised

Digitalised organises its site by objective rather than by channel: getting qualified leads, tracking prospects and customers, taking decisions on data. Apps that monetise through a sign up rather than a purchase have exactly that problem, and an agency that starts from the objective is easier to brief.

Best for: apps whose conversion is a registration, not a payment.

Other agencies worth knowing

These agencies also serve app publishers in France, or in the case of Peak Ace from Berlin, in the wider European market. They did not make the ranking above because mobile applications are not a named part of their offer.

What to check before you sign

Three questions separate an agency that will help from one that will spend.

1. Which event do you optimise towards? Installs are the easiest number to buy and the least useful. A serious answer names an event further down: a registration completed, a subscription started, a purchase made after seven days.

2. Who owns the ad accounts and the attribution setup? If the agency owns them, leaving means starting the learning phase again from zero.

3. How many creatives per month, and who makes them? On mobile, creative fatigue arrives in weeks. An agency without an internal studio will either subcontract it or let performance decay.

The visibility that happens outside the stores

Everything above is about the store and the ad platforms. Meanwhile, a growing share of people looking for an app never open a store search at all: they ask an assistant which app does the job, and get back three names taken from articles, comparisons and reviews published on the open web.

That is a different game, and it is winnable without a media budget. Comparison articles, honest reviews and clear pages about what your app does are what those answers are built from. Publish them consistently and your name enters the shortlist before anyone opens the App Store.

That is what Sorank automates. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.

Conclusion

If you want one recommendation: Ad4Screen for a publisher who wants the whole app funnel in one place, Addict Mobile if paid acquisition is already running and creative volume is the bottleneck, and AppASO if the listing itself has never been properly worked.

Whichever you pick, fix the store listing before you raise the media budget. Every euro of paid traffic passes through that one screen, and it is the cheapest thing on this page to improve.

Frequently questions asked

What is the difference between ASO and app marketing?

App store optimisation covers what happens inside the store: the title, the keywords, the screenshots, the ratings and the conversion rate of your listing. App marketing is everything that brings people to that listing, from paid user acquisition to creative production and retargeting. A store listing that converts is worth little without traffic, and paid traffic sent to a weak listing burns budget, which is why most serious agencies sell both.

How much does an app marketing agency cost in France?

Agencies bill either a monthly management fee, a percentage of the media budget they buy, or a mix of both, and creative production is usually quoted separately. The number that matters is not the fee but the cost per install that stays a paying user after 30 days, so ask every agency to define exactly which event they optimise towards.

Can you do ASO without an agency?

Yes, and most publishers should start there. Store keywords, screenshots and a first round of review handling can be done in house with the store consoles alone. An agency becomes worth its fee when you start buying paid installs at volume, because that is where a wrong audience or a badly measured event costs real money.

Our clients' case studies

I specialized in GEO thanks to Sorank. The GEO Leaderboard allows me to show my clients their position vs competitors on ChatGPT. It’s a real commercial differentiator.

I’m a developer, not a marketer. My Shopify theme was selling only through word-of-mouth and ads. With Sorank I finally understood how to structure my SEO and write articles to rank. The audit showed my product page was too slow. In 2 months, my organic traffic doubled and I’m starting to appear in ChatGPT answers when people search for Shopify themes. All of that with about 2 hours per week.

I manage our dealership’s website and it had dozens of issues: slow pages, 404 errors, missing tags. We were losing rankings every month without understanding why. The Sorank audit detected everything in 5 minutes. I sent the report to our web provider with the priority fixes. We regained our rankings and traffic picked back up. Perfect for someone non-technical like me!

I’m a CMO for a SaaS and I manage acquisition in a very competitive market. We were investing heavily in our product but not working on our SEO. No visibility on our real competitors, no tracking of our presence in AI. Sorank showed us our positioning vs competitors, which keywords to target, and GEO opportunities we had completely ignored!

We are an Ads agency and we wanted to get our SEO back on track once and for all. Sorank gave us a clear view of our site, helped us prioritize optimizations, and properly structure our content. The tool is easy to use, well designed for a team, and very practical for centralizing tracking without having to juggle multiple platforms. A very solid foundation to start fresh with our SEO.

For 2 years, 100% of my clients came from LinkedIn. Posting daily, commenting, DM follow-ups… totally dependent on the algorithm. I knew I needed to work on SEO but always postponed it: too long, too technical, not my job. With Sorank, I finally took the step. In 4 months, I generate 15 organic leads per month without posting anything. It’s not 50/50 with LinkedIn yet, but I sleep better knowing I now have a second lead source growing on autopilot.
