Table of contents

A B2B data enrichment tool fills in the records of your prospects and their companies: business email address, phone number, job title, LinkedIn profile, industry, SIREN number (the French company registration number) or buying signals. Methods vary. Some vendors draw on their own contact database, others query several providers one after another, and others still generate and verify the address by algorithm, with no database at all. This ranking compares ten tools based on their sites: features, audience, limitations and billing.

The 10 best B2B data enrichment tools in 2027

  1. Apollo.io: sales teams that want the contact database, enrichment and campaign sending on a single platform.
  2. Lusha: teams that want verified contacts and buying signals, in their CRM or directly inside Claude and ChatGPT.
  3. Kaspr: sales reps and recruiters whose prospecting runs through LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or LinkedIn Recruiter Lite.
  4. Dropcontact: teams that want to enrich and clean their own files and CRM, without buying a contact database.
  5. Cognism: sales, marketing and RevOps teams targeting decision-makers in Europe.
  6. Hunter: anyone who wants to find and verify business email addresses, then launch their campaigns.
  7. ZoomInfo: organizations that want data, intent signals and sales, marketing and recruiting tools from a single provider.
  8. FullEnrich: teams that want to find as many emails and mobile numbers as possible by querying more than 20 providers.
  9. Clay: teams that combine several data sources and automate their own prospecting workflows.
  10. Pharow: startups, agencies and sales teams prospecting French companies.

Why does your choice of B2B data enrichment tool matter in 2027?

A company file ages at the pace of the economy. According to Insee, France's national statistics institute, 1,111,200 businesses were created in France in 2024, a record level. A prospect file therefore needs regular updates, and several tools in this ranking say they detect when your contacts change jobs or companies.

The official register cannot be read at face value either. According to Insee's blog, the Sirene register (France's official business directory) listed 13.7 million active legal units in 2022, meaning units not administratively closed. In industry, construction, retail and services, 5.5 million were considered economically active. Ask each tool which ones it keeps.

The second issue is legal. On its page about reusing publicly accessible online data for commercial prospecting, published in 2020, the CNIL, France's data protection authority, points out that this data, although publicly accessible, is personal data. A company using data scraping software must give the people concerned, at the latest at the first communication, the information required by Article 14 of the GDPR, including the source of the data. For direct prospecting by electronic message or automated calling system based on this data, the same page requires obtaining people's consent before acting.

For professionals, however, the CNIL accepts, on its page on email prospecting, sending without prior consent when the message concerns their line of work, provided you inform them and let them object, including when their contact details come from a third party. Before comparing prices, ask where each piece of data comes from, how the vendor verifies it and what it provides for informing the people concerned.

How did we rank these tools?

In October 2026, we read the vendors' homepages, features pages and pricing pages, without subscribing to any paid plan or entering into any partnership. For a buyer of business contact details, four questions set the order:

1. Where the data comes from and how it is verified. Own database, provider waterfall, algorithm or open web, and what the vendor says about its checks.

2. Coverage of your market. France, Europe or worldwide, emails only or mobile numbers too.

3. Integration with your tools. Browser extension, Google Sheets, CRM, API or MCP connector.

4. How readable the bill is. A free plan or a trial, simple credits, a price published in euros.

Left aside: the customer counts, ratings and reviews displayed by vendors. The discovery rates quoted are those the vendors announce.

The 10 best B2B data enrichment tools: the profiles

1. Apollo.io

Apollo.io brings together a B2B database, AI agents and sending tools on one platform. The vendor announces more than 240M contacts and 30M accounts, waterfall enrichment for more complete records, and buying signals such as intent, job changes or visits to your site.

Its Chrome extension works in Gmail, in your CRM and on a company's website, and its MCP connectors (Model Context Protocol, an open standard that links an assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT to external tools and data sources) let you search for and enrich contacts from within the conversation.

Best for: sales teams that want to find contacts, enrich their CRM and launch their email sequences without switching tools.

Strengths: a Free plan with no credit card, with 900 credits per seat per year, API access and CRM enrichment (100 a month); waterfall enrichment from the Basic plan; connectors for Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Limitations: the Organization plan requires at least 3 seats; the built-in dialer is American and uses credits; paid plans also bundle sequences, mailboxes and calls, which are of no use if you only want to enrich records.

Pricing: Free plan, then prices published in US dollars on the site, per seat.

The Apollo.io homepage describes a three-layer system: data, intelligence and execution.

2. Lusha

Lusha describes itself as the B2B data and intelligence layer for go-to-market teams, meaning sales and marketing, and for AI agents. The vendor announces more than 515 million verified contacts and 29 million companies, 77 fields per record and 26 buying intent signals refreshed every week.

A second layer, Deep Intelligence, learns your company's context to surface the right accounts and contacts. Missing emails, numbers and company details are added to your CRM, to your CSV lists, through the API or directly inside Claude and ChatGPT.

Best for: sales teams that want direct dials and verified emails, with buying signals to prioritize their accounts.

Strengths: a Free plan with no credit card, with 40 credits a month and one seat; bulk enrichment from Starter, then the API, CSV enrichment and webhooks (automatic sending of data to your other applications) from Pro; stated compliance with the GDPR and the CCPA (California's privacy law), with ISO 27701 and ISO/IEC 42001 certifications (standards for privacy protection and AI management).

Limitations: the Starter and Premium plans are limited to 5 buying intent topics, against 25 for Scale; SSO (single sign-on with your company credentials) and the dedicated success team are reserved for Scale, a custom plan available through sales.

Pricing: Free plan, then prices published in US dollars on the site.

3. Kaspr

Kaspr starts from LinkedIn: its Chrome extension gives access to mobile numbers and verified emails directly from LinkedIn profiles, groups and events. The vendor highlights European contact data, verified in real time and drawn from more than 150 sources.

Kaspr also enriches lists in bulk from a CSV file of LinkedIn URLs and exports records to HubSpot, Salesforce and other CRMs. The site names three audiences: sales, recruiting and entrepreneurs.

On December 5, 2024, the CNIL imposed a €240,000 fine on the company KASPR, in particular for collecting from LinkedIn the contact details of users who had chosen to restrict their visibility. Ask the vendor what has changed since.

Best for: sales reps and recruiters prospecting on LinkedIn, Sales Navigator or Recruiter Lite.

Strengths: a Free plan with no credit card, with monthly credits for B2B emails, phone numbers and direct emails; unlimited B2B emails on paid plans; Kaspr also works on Sales Navigator (Starter) and on LinkedIn Recruiter Lite (Business).

Limitations: phone credits remain capped (100 a month on Starter, 200 on Business); API access is limited on Starter and "available under conditions"; the page also mentions an Organization plan, reserved for annual subscriptions of at least 5 licenses.

Pricing: Free at €0. Starter at €45 per month per user billed annually, €59 billed monthly; Business at €79 billed annually, €99 billed monthly; VAT treatment not stated. Enterprise on a custom quote. Price checked on October 10, 2026.

4. Dropcontact

Dropcontact enriches the B2B contacts you already have: a company, a first name and a last name are enough to get a verified email. The vendor uses no database: its own algorithms and test servers generate named addresses on demand, verified in real time without any third-party service. It does not sell contacts.

The software also cleans up: merging duplicates, even without a common field, correcting first names, adding salutation, job title, LinkedIn profile and website. For French companies, it adds the NAF code (the activity code assigned by Insee), the headcount band, the VAT number and the SIREN, and it detects company changes: both of these features are part of the Growth plan.

Best for: teams that already have their files and CRM and want a clean database, processed on servers located in the EU.

Strengths: native integration with Pipedrive and HubSpot, with Salesforce announced as coming soon; file enrichment (CSV, XLS, TXT), API and MCP access and the Google Sheets extension from Starter; billing per email found, with any email not found credited back.

Limitations: the Email Finder (Starter and Growth plans) only searches for B2B email addresses; only the custom CRM integration offer announces mobile numbers, drawn from the history of internal mailboxes; company information enrichment applies to French companies exclusively; the Email Finder subscription and the CRM integration are two different plans, and the credits of the first cannot be used to enrich the CRM.

Pricing: Starter from €29 a month for 500 credits billed monthly with no commitment, or €24 a month billed annually (6,000 credits a year); Growth from €35 a month, or €29 billed annually; at 4,000 credits a month, Starter rises to €79 and Growth to €120 billed monthly; VAT treatment not stated. 50 free credits to try it out. Enterprise on a custom quote, from 200,000 credits a month. Price checked on October 10, 2026.

5. Cognism

Cognism presents itself as the leader in European B2B data. Its platform covers sales prospecting, CRM enrichment and data access through MCP and API, from Claude, ChatGPT or your own systems. The vendor highlights phone-verified direct dials and data suited to the European market.

Cognism offers signals such as hiring, fundraising or job changes. On the CRM side, it spots incomplete, outdated or inaccurate contacts and automatically enriches new prospects.

Best for: sales, marketing and RevOps (revenue operations) teams that want verified direct dials to reach decision-makers in Europe.

Strengths: 1 credit equals 1 unlocked contact, with no cost for browsing or for contacts already unlocked; the same contact serves prospecting, enrichment and the API at no extra cost; credits pooled at account level.

Limitations: the two plans shown, Standard and Pro, each include 5 licenses, so check what is available for individual use; on-demand mobile verification and intent data are reserved for Pro; CRM enrichment is an add-on module.

Pricing: on quote.

6. Hunter

Hunter finds and verifies business email addresses. Domain Search starts from a company name or website, Email Finder from a person's name, and Email Verifier checks an address before sending. Hunter states that its B2B data comes from the open web: every day, it visits millions of web pages to find companies' contact details.

The site also features an all-in-one cold email platform. For a need limited to data, the Data Platform gives access to search and verification through the API or batch jobs, with credits usable for 12 months. The people concerned can request the deletion of their data.

Best for: anyone mainly looking for verified business emails, from prospecting beginners to agencies.

Strengths: a Free plan with 50 credits a month, no credit card required; unlimited users on every plan; a repeated search counted only once per calendar month.

Limitations: with monthly payment, credits reset every month and do not roll over; paid plans include sending features (connected email accounts, sequences) that are of no use if you only want addresses; the Data Platform simulator shows its amounts in dollars.

Pricing: Free at €0. Starter at €49 a month with monthly payment, or €34 a month with annual payment (€408 billed per year); higher plans at €149 and €299 a month billed monthly, €104 and €209 billed annually; Enterprise on a custom quote; VAT treatment not stated. Price checked on October 10, 2026.

7. ZoomInfo

An all-in-one go-to-market platform, ZoomInfo covers contact and company data, buying intent signals, prospecting, marketing and recruiting. Its Professional plan gives access to mobile numbers and business emails, a Chrome extension, a mobile app and CRM integrations (HubSpot, Salesforce and others).

ZoomInfo automatically enriches and cleans contact and company records across all your tools, beyond the CRM alone.

Best for: organizations that want to bring B2B data, buying signals and sales, marketing and recruiting tools together under a single provider.

Strengths: a free trial; AI account prioritization, website visitors and intent signals from Copilot Advanced; separate offers for marketing and for recruiting.

Limitations: no published price, everything goes through a quote; the offer is split between sales, marketing and talent, to be scoped before the demo; real-time intent signals and custom signals are reserved for Copilot Enterprise.

Pricing: on quote.

8. FullEnrich

FullEnrich practices waterfall enrichment: it queries several data sources one after another to find a person's email and number, aggregating more than 20 providers from a single account. Providers are chosen according to where your prospects are located.

Each email goes through three independent verification tools that must agree, and each number is checked against the carrier's network. Landlines found are not billed. The vendor announces an average discovery rate of about 80%, varying by industry and geographic area.

Best for: teams that already have their lists and want as many mobile numbers as possible, including internationally.

Strengths: credits used only when verified data is found; unlimited users; an MCP server, an API and a HubSpot integration; credits rolled over for 3 months on monthly billing and 12 months on annual billing.

Limitations: the site has no French version; a mobile number costs 10 credits, against 1 for a business email; verification of the line holder's name only covers the United States and Canada; the "FullEnrich Inside HubSpot" integration is announced as coming soon.

Pricing: the pricing page, in English, shows amounts in both euros and dollars; confirm with the vendor. The free trial gives 50 credits, with no credit card.

9. Clay

Clay defines itself as the infrastructure for accessing any data, putting AI agents to work and launching your go-to-market workflows. It combines a marketplace of data providers, multi-provider waterfalls and Claygent, its AI web research agent, which generates custom data points. The site lists CRM enrichment and lead scoring among its uses.

Higher plans add automatic CRM enrichment and HTTP API integration.

Best for: teams that want to combine several data providers and automate their own enrichment and prospecting workflows.

Strengths: a Free plan with 500 actions and 100 data credits a month, unlimited users and multi-provider waterfalls; a 14-day trial; phone number enrichment and job change tracking from Launch.

Limitations: the Free plan stops at 200 rows per table; two separate counters, actions and data credits, need watching; SSO login and role-based access control are reserved for the Enterprise plan.

Pricing: Free plan, then prices published in US dollars on the site.

10. Pharow

Pharow reconciles data sources, intent data and business signals on B2B companies and prospects in France. It builds segmented lists, enriches them with emails and phone numbers, then exports them to your CRM and your sending tool. Targeting combines NAF industry codes, revenue, open positions, growth, team size and technologies used, with more than 80 "magic filters".

Pharow also identifies the companies visiting your site. Every day, it recognizes the contacts and companies already present in HubSpot, Pipedrive or lemlist, so you can set aside or reactivate the ones you already know. Dropcontact and FullEnrich are included in the subscription for enrichment.

Best for: startups, agencies and sales teams prospecting companies registered in France.

Strengths: email enrichment of prospects is included and uses no credits; credits do not expire; inactive companies, deregistered companies and those in insolvency proceedings are excluded from targeting.

Limitations: targeting excludes companies not registered in France, sole proprietors and SCIs (French property holding companies); a phone number enriched with FullEnrich costs 10 credits; each plan includes one user, each additional one costs €34 to €45 excl. VAT a month on Essentiel depending on the commitment, and the Personnalisé plan starts at 5 users.

Pricing: Essentiel at €105 excl. VAT a month with an annual commitment, €119 quarterly and €139 with no commitment, with 1,000 credits a month; Avancé at €169, €199 and €229 excl. VAT for the same periods; volumes of 2,000 or 4,000 credits cost more; Personnalisé on quote, from 5 users. 15-day free trial with 100 credits. Price checked on October 10, 2026.

What to check before you sign up

1. Where does the data come from, and can you tell the people you contact? Own database, provider waterfall, algorithm or open web: ask the vendor for the source of each contact detail. You will need it to inform people, as the CNIL points out.

2. What do you really pay for each piece of data found? A mobile number is worth 10 credits against 1 for an email at FullEnrich. Also look at what happens to a credit that returns nothing (credited back at Dropcontact) or goes unused (not rolled over with monthly payment at Hunter). If mobile numbers are what you need most, our ranking of the best phone number enrichment tools compares the options built for that job.

3. Does the coverage match your market? Pharow targets companies registered in France, Cognism and Kaspr highlight Europe, and FullEnrich picks its providers according to your prospects' region.

4. Is CRM enrichment included? Check that your CRM is among the native integrations. At Dropcontact, the CRM integration is a separate plan; at Cognism, an add-on module.

5. What does the tool produce on your own file? Run the same sample of known contacts through two or three tools, then compare how many contact details each one finds and how accurate they are.

Where does this ranking stop?

The figures come from the vendors. Contact volumes, discovery rates and validity rates are those each site displayed in October 2026: we did not run any file through these tools.

Our reading of the sites has gaps. Some pages were only partly read: any information missing from a profile should be checked with the vendor.

It covers finding and verifying business contact details. Tools whose core is sending email campaigns or automating LinkedIn are not included, even when they also enrich contacts.

Your file matters more than our order. A recruiter on LinkedIn and a team cleaning a large CRM do not need the same tool: start from the Best for line of each profile. Credit offers move fast; we will update these profiles whenever we spot a change, and each price keeps the date it was checked.

How do buyers missing from your prospect file find you?

An enrichment tool works on names you already have: it completes a record, verifies an address, finds a number. Buyers who appear on none of your lists arrive by another route: a Google search, or a question put to an AI like ChatGPT. To hand prospecting to specialists, see our ranking of lead generation agencies in France; to compare other sources of customers, see our selection of 50 acquisition channels for 2026.

Sorank takes care of this second route: research into your market's keywords, articles written with AI assistants in mind, earning backlinks (links from other sites) and tracking, prompt by prompt, the answers in which AIs cite you. Each feature is described on the GEO software page.

To find out what Sorank would do for a data vendor, an agency or a sales team like yours, book a call.

Conclusion

One recommendation per profile: Dropcontact if you already have your files and CRM, and want verified named emails and a cleaned-up database, with legal information on French companies on the Growth plan; FullEnrich if you already have your lists and are mainly after mobile numbers, checked against the carrier's network and counted only when found; Apollo.io if you want to find, enrich and contact your prospects on a single platform, starting with its Free plan.

Before subscribing, open two free plans or two trials with the same sample of contacts, then ask each vendor where the contact details it found come from. Keep the tool that finds the right people in your market, and whose data origin you can explain.

Frequently asked questions

What is B2B data enrichment?

It means adding the missing information to the records of your prospects and their companies: business email, phone number, job title, LinkedIn profile, industry or SIREN number (the French company registration number). Dropcontact, for example, starts from a company, a first name and a last name to supply a verified email, and Lusha adds missing emails, numbers and company details to your CRM or CSV lists. Some tools also add buying signals, such as hiring, fundraising or job changes.

Is B2B data enrichment GDPR compliant?

The CNIL, France's data protection authority, sets several rules. It points out that publicly accessible data is still personal data, and that a company collecting it with scraping software must inform the people concerned, at the latest at the first contact, in particular about the source of the data. Ask each vendor where its data comes from, and have your use approved by your data protection officer.

What is the difference between a B2B database and waterfall enrichment?

With a B2B database, you draw on the contacts the vendor has gathered: Apollo.io announces more than 240M contacts, Lusha more than 515 million. Waterfall enrichment queries several sources one after another to find a person's email and number: FullEnrich aggregates more than 20 providers this way. Dropcontact follows a third path, with no database, using its own algorithms that generate and verify addresses.
