The 10 best podcasting content creators in France to learn how to launch, grow and market a podcast: platforms, rhythm, level and what each one sells.

In short
Marco Bernard is the best overall choice among the best podcasting content creators in France: every Monday for about eight years, his show « L'Académie du podcast » has published a 20-minute episode on structuring, launching, measuring and making money from a podcast, with 453 episodes so far. Bertrand Soulier is the alternative: his weekly newsletter Podcasteur Pro and his show Podcast Business Club focus on growing an audience (statistics, Apple and Spotify rankings, calls to action), from nine years of podcasting of his own. Sarah François suits entrepreneurs who want to turn a podcast into a source of clients, Bastien Nicolaï communicators who want the weekly news of the podcast world, and Maud Calves readers who prefer a written guide to building a carefully made show. The right creator depends first on what you want your podcast to do for you, and on whether you prefer to listen or to read.

Following the best podcasting content creators in France is the most practical way to learn a craft that very few people are taught. In its study of podcast authors published in September 2024, the Podcast Observatory run by Arcom and the French Ministry of Culture found that 59% of the 174 authors surveyed had never followed any audio training, and that only 9% came to podcasting after a specialised initial training, according to the Arcom Podcast Observatory report on podcast authors. Most podcasters learn by doing and by listening to those who went first. This ranking brings together ten French-speaking creators who publish about creating, growing and marketing a podcast, checked one by one, and says for each which reader and which level they suit.
Listening keeps growing in France. In its Global Audio 2026 study, published in June 2026 and based on 4152 people aged 15 to 80 surveyed in February and March 2026, Médiamétrie finds that audio reaches nearly 50 million people in France every month, or 96% of 15 to 80 year olds, and that radio and native podcasts now account for 10% of total audio listening volume, up 2 points in one year, according to Médiamétrie's Global Audio 2026 page.
The format is also changing shape. YouTube announced on 26 February 2025 that it had passed 1 billion monthly active podcast viewers as of January 2025, and that viewers watched over 400 million hours of podcasts a month on TV screens in 2024, according to the official YouTube blog post by Tim Katz, Vice President, Partnerships, Podcasts. Video podcasts, Shorts and clips now sit next to classic audio: this is exactly the kind of change creators comment on week after week.
Four reasons, from the point of view of someone who wants to launch a podcast or make an existing one grow.
Several creators on this list, such as Marco Bernard, Bastien Nicolaï and Maud Calves, also sell training or podcast production. If what you need is a team to produce your show rather than content to learn from, our ranking of the best podcast agencies in France covers that case.
Four criteria, fixed before looking at who would come out on top, and applied only to what each creator publishes on their own pages and accounts. Every account on this list was reviewed on 22 October 2026.
1. Regularity. Dated content in 2026, and a rhythm you can count on: a weekly episode counts for more than a burst of episodes followed by months of silence.
2. Depth and focus on podcasting. Creators whose content is mainly about making, growing and marketing a podcast come before those for whom podcasting is one topic among others.
3. Teaching. Content that a listener or reader at a given level can apply, with a clear audience: beginners, entrepreneurs, communicators, producers.
4. Independence. Content that teaches something even if you never buy anything from the creator. Selling a service is fine; a feed that only promotes an offer is not.
What I deliberately did not do: I did not estimate any audience. When a creator does not publish a follower or subscriber count, the table says « Not published ». I did not keep any creator without public activity in 2026 in the top 10. I did not include brand accounts of publishers of competing SEO software. And I did not count downloads, likes or ratings, which say little about what you will learn.
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as someone who follows these creators every week, not a paid placement. I am Thibault Besson-Magdelain, founder of Sorank, and no creator on this page paid to appear in it.
Marco Bernard is a podcasting trainer who publishes « L'Académie du podcast » every Monday: a 20-minute episode on the structure, launch, measurement and profitability of a podcast, for entrepreneurs, coaches and consultants. He has kept this rhythm for about eight years, with 453 episodes and the latest one on 19 October 2026, which makes him the most regular French-speaking reference on this list. He also runs other shows, such as « Les 2 cents de Marco », and offers free resources: a launch plan, a profitability calculator and a GEO method. His published audience is 7.0k on his personal Instagram account, 6.7k on the Académie du podcast Instagram account, 6.6k on Facebook, 1.4k on YouTube and 0.6k on X. He sells training, including a paid community, Académie du Podcast Campus.
Best for: entrepreneurs, coaches and consultants who want to use a podcast as a marketing tool and like a short weekly episode. Producers looking for advanced sound or editing technique will find the angle more strategic than technical.

Bertrand Soulier publishes Podcast Business Club, a show about increasing the downloads and monetisation of a podcast (56 episodes, the latest on 22 October 2026), and sends Podcasteur Pro, a Substack newsletter that goes out every Wednesday. Its topics are very concrete: the podcast statistics to follow, Apple and Spotify rankings, calls to action, intros, scripts and AI. What sets him apart is experience: he has been podcasting for nine years and ran « Solopreneur en forme » for more than 769 episodes, before closing it in July 2026 to focus on podcasting. He also writes the newsletter Solopreneur Durable. His published audience is 0.37k on his personal Substack; the other audiences are not published.
Best for: podcasters who have already launched and want to grow their audience, with one practical read a week. Complete beginners who have not yet recorded a first episode will get more from Marco Bernard or Maud Calves first.

Sarah François presents herself as a Podcast Business Partner and hosts Message Personnel, a podcast entirely devoted to the business podcast: how to launch it, structure it and turn it into a source of clients. What sets her apart is transparency: she shows the listening figures of her own show to back her advice. In October 2026 she is running a challenge of one episode a day from 1 to 31 October, with the latest episode on 21 October 2026 at the time of this review, and she develops the same topics on LinkedIn and Instagram. Her published audience is 3.1k on Instagram and 1.8k on LinkedIn. She sells a paid offer, Podcast Hour.
Best for: entrepreneurs and freelancers who want a podcast that brings clients, and like hearing the behind-the-scenes of a real show. The daily rhythm is a one-month challenge: do not expect it all year long.

Bastien Nicolaï is a producer and the founder of Studio Podcast Montpellier. Every week he publishes Podcast and Com', an episode that decodes the news of the podcast world (Spotify, YouTube, video podcasts, AI, advertising) and what it changes for brands and communicators. The show has 22 episodes, with a steady weekly rhythm: episodes on 14, 20 and 28 September, then 5, 12 and 18 October 2026. It is one of the rare regular French-speaking shows on what audio trends mean for a brand podcast. His audience is not published. He sells podcast production through his studio.
Best for: communication and marketing professionals who run or plan a brand podcast and want a short weekly news update. Solo creators looking for a step-by-step launch method will find it more in Marco Bernard's episodes.

Maud Calves is a journalist and podcaster (Autochtone Studio) who publishes a weekly article of concrete advice on her blog creation-podcast.com, with articles dated 2, 9 and 30 September, then 7, 14 and 21 October 2026. Her topics cover the making of a show: planning seasons, choosing guests, building a sound identity, distribution and accessibility. She writes as a producer who makes podcasts herself; her own show Autochtone tells South American stories rather than talking about podcasting. Her audience is not published. She sells podcast creation training.
Best for: people who want to create a carefully made podcast and prefer reading a written guide to listening to an episode. Readers focused on audience growth and monetisation will find more on that with Bertrand Soulier.

Emma Potier is Head of Brand Content at Ausha, a podcast hosting and marketing platform, and presents Tips, its podcast of advice on podcast marketing. The show has 187 episodes, at roughly two a month (12 and 26 August, 9 and 23 September, 2 October 2026), on catchy titles, podcast SEO, Apple and Spotify rankings, and growth on YouTube and Instagram. She also runs LinkedIn lives where she answers podcasters' questions, and has been a guest on Le Podcast du Marketing and Le Café du Market. Her audience is not published. The content is published under the Ausha brand, so keep in mind that it comes from a hosting platform; Ausha is not an SEO software publisher.
Best for: podcasters who want practical marketing tips on visibility in the listening apps and on social networks. The content naturally speaks from the point of view of a hosting platform.

Safia Gourari is the author of the book Build Your Podcast, a guide to using the podcast as a marketing tool, and has hosted the business podcast Build Yourself since 2019, with 357 episodes. She has coached podcasters since 2019, and the podcast as a marketing lever comes back often in her content. She has the largest published audience on this list: 48.0k on Instagram, 29.5k on YouTube, 5.3k on TikTok and 3.7k on Facebook. That reach takes the idea of a business podcast well beyond the circle of podcasters. Podcasting is no longer her only topic: she now also talks about AI, online business and content.
Best for: entrepreneurs who are wondering whether a podcast fits their business and like a broad, motivating business show. Readers who want only podcasting advice will have to sort through the other topics.

Chloé Genicot is the creator of the studio Ōdace Podcast and hosts PŌD, a podcast of interviews with podcasters and experts from French-speaking Belgium. Each episode makes a podcaster talk about their launch, their economics, their sponsors or why they stopped. The rhythm is irregular: PŌD launched in February 2026 and has 11 episodes, the latest on 6 September 2026, after a series in August and September. It remains one of the rare French-speaking sources of concrete feedback from people who run a show. Her audience is not published. She runs a podcast studio.
Best for: podcasters who learn best from other people's experience, especially on the economics of a show. The guests are mostly Belgian, and the irregular rhythm makes it a podcast to dip into rather than a weekly appointment.

Christine Irabola is an SEO web writer in Pau who has hosted the monthly podcast On n'a qu'une voix since 2024, with 20 episodes and the latest on 13 October 2026. The show is a series of interviews about the voice rather than about podcasting. Her link with this ranking comes from her work: she supports entrepreneurs in creating their podcast and offers Playlist SEO, a service to help episodes be found on Google and in the listening apps. That angle, connecting podcasting and SEO, is rare and useful. Her audience is not published. She sells podcast creation support and the Playlist SEO offer.
Best for: podcasters who want their episodes to be found through search, and listeners interested in the voice itself. Her published content talks more about the voice than about podcasting technique.

Flavie Prévot hosts the podcast Le Board, for solopreneurs, and the video talk show Solo Nation. She has been podcasting since 2020 and publishes detailed guides on leboard.fr about the video podcast as a way to find clients: budget, equipment, rhythm and thumbnails, including an article on 13 February 2026 about launching a video podcast and finding clients. She also writes the newsletter Board Members. She shows by example how a solopreneur uses a podcast to attract clients. Her audience and her publishing rhythm are not published. Her main subject remains solo entrepreneurship: podcasting is one theme among others.
Best for: freelancers and solopreneurs who are thinking about a video podcast to find clients. Readers who want podcasting content every week will find it mixed with other topics on running a solo business.

Three habits that make the difference between listening and learning.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It is based on public information. I read and listened to what each creator publishes and checked their accounts on 22 October 2026. Several podcast pages do not show any audience, so many cells say « Not published ». A creator who publishes very well but quietly will be underrated here.
It reflects one listener's opinion. The criteria were fixed in advance, but the weight given to regularity, focus or teaching is a personal choice. Another podcaster would rank some creators differently, and that is healthy. The French-speaking scene is also small: Chloé Genicot speaks mainly from Belgium, and two creators on this list treat podcasting as one topic among others.
It ages. Creators change rhythm, close a show or move to video. Bertrand Soulier closed one podcast in July 2026, for example. Check that the account is still active before you subscribe.
A creator explains how to launch, structure and grow a podcast. They do not know your site, your keywords or your competitors, and they will not turn each of your episodes into pages that can be found on Google and cited by AI assistants.
That is what Sorank automates: after an audit of your site, the software finds your keywords, writes and publishes articles optimised for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. For a podcaster, that means the topics of your episodes also live as written content that search engines and the AIs can read. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. To see it on your own site, book a call. Many podcasters combine the two: creators to learn the craft, software to be found.
The best podcasting creator is the one whose goal resembles yours, in a format you will actually keep up with. For a weekly method to use a podcast as a marketing tool, Marco Bernard. For growing an audience that already exists, Bertrand Soulier. For a podcast that brings clients, Sarah François. For the news of the platforms seen from a brand's side, Bastien Nicolaï. For a written guide to a carefully made show, Maud Calves. For marketing tips on the listening apps, Emma Potier. And to keep up with SEO and visibility in AI assistants alongside your podcast, our weekly GEO and SEO newsletter goes further.

| Mélanie Vazeux | thepodcastbureau.substack.com | Founder of The Podcast Bureau (consulting and representation of audio talent) and co-founder of the network Women & Podcasts; roughly monthly newsletter analysing the podcast industry and the place of women creators (editions on 28 April, 27 May, 1 July, 31 August and 21 October 2026), signed by the agency rather than by her |
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Marco Bernard is the best overall choice: every Monday for about eight years, his show L'Académie du podcast has published a 20-minute episode on structuring, launching, measuring and making money from a podcast, with 453 episodes. Bertrand Soulier is the alternative for growing an existing audience, with his weekly newsletter Podcasteur Pro and his show Podcast Business Club.
A beginner who wants a method should start with Marco Bernard's weekly episodes, or with Maud Calves's weekly written advice on creation-podcast.com if they prefer reading. Sarah François suits beginners who want their podcast to bring clients, and Emma Potier gives practical marketing tips on titles, podcast SEO and rankings in the listening apps.
Most of them do, and say so: Marco Bernard sells training and a paid community, Sarah François a paid offer called Podcast Hour, Bastien Nicolaï podcast production through his studio, Maud Calves podcast creation training and Christine Irabola a Playlist SEO offer. Their free content still teaches a lot without buying anything.
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU
