The 10 best link building content creators in France to follow in 2027: who to read on LinkedIn, X and YouTube, at what level, and what each one sells.

In short
Axel Guyennot is the best overall choice among the best link building content creators in France: on LinkedIn and X, he shares concrete ninja linking and email outreach methods to earn backlinks without going through paid platforms. Geoffrey Borel is the alternative if you are on the other side of the market: a site publisher, he talks on X and YouTube about selling links and using expired domains, and about how link sellers adapt to Google's anti-spam updates. Gabin Thiebaut is a better fit if you want figures rather than promises, and Grégoire Miretti if you want hands-on tests of link building platforms. The right choice depends first on whether you buy links, sell them or earn them.

Following the best link building content creators in France is one of the fastest ways to learn a discipline that changes with every Google update. Link building is also the area of SEO where Google is the most active: the Google Search Status Dashboard lists four spam updates in 2026 alone, started on 24 March, 24 June, 18 August and 24 September. This ranking brings together ten French-speaking creators who publish on link building, checked one by one on their public pages, and says for each what level and what format they suit.
Creators are now a real source of information in France, well beyond SEO. According to the Reuters Institute Digital News Report 2026, France page, published on 16 June 2026, 29% of French respondents say they get some news from creators, while only 3% say creators meet all of their news needs. That is the right way to use the people on this list: as one source among several, not as the only one.
Link building platforms and SEO tools publish a lot of content, but they sell links or subscriptions, and their articles rarely say when a method stops working. Creators fill four gaps.
1. They speak from both sides of the market. Several creators on this list run their own sites and sell links on them. They know what a buyer pays for and what a seller delivers, which no sales page will tell you.
2. They react fast after an update. Google said in its webspam report published on the Search Central blog on 11 April 2023 that its SpamBrain system detected 50 times more link spam sites than at the previous link spam update. When an update hits, creators who publish their own results are often the first to say what still holds.
3. They test platforms with their own money. A test of a link marketplace by a publisher who uses it is more useful than its own promotional page.
4. They are free to follow. Most of what they publish on LinkedIn, X or YouTube costs nothing. Several of them also sell training or consulting: when they do, this page says so. If you are looking for someone to run your link building rather than to learn from, our ranking of the best link building consultants in France covers that case.
Four criteria, fixed before looking at who would come out on top, applied only to what each creator publishes on their public pages. Every account on this list was reviewed on 22 October 2026.
1. Regularity. A dated sign of activity in 2026 (a post, a video, a study, a podcast appearance) counts for more than an old archive, however good.
2. Depth and accuracy. Methods explained step by step, studies with their sample, platform tests with their results come before general advice.
3. Teaching. Content that a reader can apply on their own site, with the level it requires stated or obvious.
4. Independence. What the creator sells is stated in each entry, and their free content has to be useful on its own, without buying anything.
What I deliberately did not do: I did not estimate any audience. When a number of followers or subscribers is not published on the account, the table says « Not published ». I did not keep accounts I know to be dormant, and when recent activity could not be confirmed, the entry says so. I did not include publishers of SEO or GEO software that competes with Sorank. This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as someone who follows these creators every week, not a paid placement.
Axel Guyennot publishes on LinkedIn and on X (@Axxl_SEO) about ninja linking: getting backlinks through email outreach rather than buying them on paid platforms. His posts are concrete methods, not opinions. In August 2026, he was a guest on a French SEO and GEO podcast to explain why buying more links on platforms is no longer enough, which makes him a reference for « free » link building. His publishing rhythm is not stated. He founded NinjaLinking and Linkontext, a service that helps with link prospecting.
Best for: beginners and intermediate SEOs who want to earn links by outreach and have time to prospect. If your budget goes to buying links on platforms, his content will push you to change your method more than to optimise it.

Léo Poitevin publishes long videos on link building on his YouTube channel (4890 subscribers), including « NETLINKING SEO : Guide Complet 2026 », a nine-module masterclass on backlinks that covers both SEO and GEO, as well as case studies and question and answer sessions. His channel is active: he posted about ten videos in the two months before this review, on how to split a link building budget, which platforms to use or avoid and what makes a backlink valuable. He has managed large link budgets in competitive niches such as online casino, which gives him an experienced buyer's point of view. He founded the SEO agency Astrak and co-founded Linkavista, a link marketplace.
Best for: intermediate and advanced SEOs who buy links and want a method to choose, budget and measure them. As the co-founder of a link marketplace, he is not a neutral judge of platforms: compare his advice with independent tests such as Grégoire Miretti's.

Geoffrey Borel is a site publisher who posts on X (820 followers) and on YouTube (236 subscribers) about selling links, buying expired domains and Discover traffic. On 24 September 2026, the day Google started its September 2026 spam update, he was the guest of a French podcast episode on how link sellers bounce back after Google's anti-spam updates. His publishing rhythm is not stated. He also has a site in his name, geoffreyborel.com.
Best for: site publishers who sell links or are thinking about it, at intermediate level. If you only buy links for your own site, the seller's point of view is useful but indirect.

Grégoire Miretti is a niche site publisher with a YouTube channel (1130 subscribers), an X account (1060 followers) and a blog, whose latest article is dated 16 June 2026. He tests link building platforms such as Linkavista, shares his experience of selling links and explains metrics such as Trust Flow. His platform tests are concrete and serve both link buyers and link sellers. He also offers SEO coaching.
Best for: beginners and intermediate publishers who want to choose a link platform or start selling links on their niche sites. The pace of his blog is slower than that of his social accounts.

Gabin Thiebaut is a site publisher who publishes on YouTube (930 subscribers), on X (902 followers) and on his blog gt-seo.fr. He released a study, « Combien rapporte la vente de liens ? », based on 1677 sites with a profitability simulator, and a guide on reaching 1000€ a month from selling links. His approach relies on data, against the grain of quick money promises. He also runs a newsletter, « Édition de sites », whose address returned an error when I checked it.
Best for: publishers at any level who want to know what selling links really earns before investing. His content is about the seller's side, less about getting links for a business site.

Romain Pirotte is an SEO consultant and trainer who publishes on X and YouTube about black hat SEO, site networks (PBN) and link building. With 13000 followers on X, he has the largest published audience on this list. His publishing rhythm is not stated. He sells a training course, The Business Legion, which includes a large module on PBN and advanced link building, and his Malt profile presents him as an SEO consultant and link building expert.
Best for: advanced SEOs who want to understand site networks and aggressive techniques. These are the techniques Google's spam updates target: test them on sites you can afford to lose, never on a client's main site.

Jérôme Pasquelin is an SEO trainer who publishes on X (5000 followers) and Facebook (2530 followers) about expired domains and PBN. His publishing rhythm is not stated. He sells a training course on expired domain names (30 hours, with guest speakers) and another on sponsored articles, and offers a set of SEO utilities, Patator-SEO, some of them free.
Best for: intermediate and advanced SEOs who want to learn how to find and use expired domains. As with any PBN approach, the risk of a Google penalty is part of the method.
Benjamin Monnereau is an SEO consultant who publishes on LinkedIn (6000 followers) about technical SEO, link building, PBN, the Knowledge Graph and GEO. He also has an X account (628 followers) and a YouTube channel (22 subscribers). His site was updated in September 2026. Link building is one of his topics among others, not the only one.
Best for: intermediate SEOs who want to place link building within a broader technical and GEO strategy. If you only want link building, the creators higher up are more focused.

Paul Sanches is an SEO consultant since 2006 who publishes on LinkedIn and on X (@Seoblackout) about link building, advanced black hat and grey hat SEO, negative SEO, SEO automation and Google Discover. He speaks at conferences such as SMX Paris and SEO CAMP'us Paris, and on 8 July 2025 he was the guest of a French podcast episode on Google Discover and on external traffic as an alternative to traditional backlinks. He is also one of the guest speakers of Jérôme Pasquelin's expired domain training. His publishing rhythm is not stated and his activity over the last six months could not be confirmed. He co-founded the link building agency SEO Hackers and the SEO High Level training, and runs the agency Impact SEO.
Best for: advanced SEOs interested in site networks, large-scale tests and Discover traffic. His topics assume a solid SEO base, and link building is one of several of them.

Emmanuel Paolacci is a data content strategist who works on organic link building through data-driven PR: statistical studies that earn press coverage, and links with it. He publishes on LinkedIn and has written for the SEO magazine Réacteur on organic link building (September 2024) and on survey design (August and September 2025). He founded the agency Flashs. His activity over the last six months could not be confirmed.
Best for: intermediate and advanced marketers who want to earn links from the press rather than buy them. The method takes time and a budget for studies, so it suits brands more than niche sites.

Three habits that make the difference between following and learning.
Three limits, stated clearly.
It is based on public pages. I read what each creator publishes and the audiences shown on their accounts on 22 October 2026. I did not measure engagement or test their paid training courses.
It reflects one point of view. This is my reading of the French link building scene, as someone who follows it every week. Another practitioner would weigh black hat techniques or data-driven PR differently.
It ages. Creators slow down, change topic or start publishing again. Audiences and offers change. Check the account before relying on it.
A creator teaches you a method and shares what they see in the field. They do not write your content, publish it on your site or watch whether AI assistants cite your brand. Links help a page rank, but the page still has to exist and answer the question people ask.
That is what Sorank automates: after an audit of your site, the platform finds your keywords, writes and publishes articles optimised for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. To see it on your own site, book a call. Many site owners combine the two: creators to learn how to earn links, content that deserves them.
The best link building creator is the one who works on the same side of the market as you. To earn links without paying for them, follow Axel Guyennot. To sell links or exploit expired domains, Geoffrey Borel and Gabin Thiebaut, the latter for his figures. To choose a link platform, Grégoire Miretti and Cyril Jouault. For advanced and riskier techniques, Romain Pirotte and Jérôme Pasquelin. For links earned from the press, Emmanuel Paolacci. To hear where link building is heading with AI assistants, Derek Boixière. And to publish the content those links point to, discover Sorank.
Other creators spotted during this review, outside the ranking, presented solely on the basis of what they publish.
| Creator | Main account | What they publish |
|---|---|---|
| Cyril Jouault | cyril-jouault.fr | Blog with reviews of link building platforms and SEO tools and WordPress tutorials, by a WordPress SEO consultant in Caen who also sells PBN links |
| Derek Boixière | Et Toc SEO | Host of « Netlinking 2026 : les nouvelles règles du jeu », a podcast episode published on 6 September 2026 on how link building changes as AI assistants grow in search |
| Charly Rouget | heimdal.fr | Heimdal blog: reviews of link building platforms such as Linkuma and a guide to 9 ways of getting backlinks, with no dates shown on articles |
| David Muratori | Posts on link building and private site networks; co-founder of Perfect Website Network | |
| Baptiste Vason | YouTube | SEO and GEO videos and a newsletter, including an issue on ninja linking in January 2026; link building is a secondary topic |
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Axel Guyennot is the best overall choice: on LinkedIn and X, he shares concrete ninja linking and email outreach methods to earn backlinks without paying for them on platforms. Geoffrey Borel is the alternative for site publishers who sell links or use expired domains.
Gabin Thiebaut, for his study of 1677 sites on what selling links really earns, and Geoffrey Borel, who talks on X and YouTube about selling links and expired domains. Grégoire Miretti adds hands-on tests of link building platforms.
They are worth understanding, but they are what Google's spam updates target: Google's Search Status Dashboard lists four spam updates in 2026. Test these techniques on a site you can afford to lose, never on your main site or a client's.
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU
