In short

Point A Marketing tops our ranking of the best web design agencies in Luxembourg City: its homepage leads with web design and web development, and it names projects such as Rezco Asset Management and Alis Exchange. Addedsense is the choice for a WordPress site with hosting and maintenance from one studio, META suits companies that also want AI features and internal tools, and Interact fits large organisations that need portals. manes.lu combines web design with search optimisation and maintenance, Apporix is the option for a site connected to custom software or AI, and AR Digital suits businesses that want a site handled together with search and advertising. UX Capital focuses on usability and accessibility, Intrépide Studio brings branding, websites and marketing together, and Luxbisys publishes entry prices for a showcase site and an online shop. The deciding question is not who promises the most, but who will still look after your site once it is live.

Quick quiz

Agency, freelancer or in-house: who should run this for you?

Question 1 of 425%
What monthly budget do you have for this?

Choosing among the best web design agencies in Luxembourg starts with a simple fact: a website is rarely a one-off purchase. It has to be hosted, updated, kept secure and changed as the business changes. According to the Luxembourg government's press release on the Digital Decade Country Report 2025, published on 16 June 2025, 70.27% of Luxembourg's SMEs have reached a basic level of digital intensity, a level just below the EU average. Most SMEs in the country have therefore reached a basic level, and the real differences between agencies show up in what a site does after launch.

Why does a local agency matter in Luxembourg, and why does a top 10 help?

A local agency works in the languages, the rhythm and the rules of your market. Businesses in Luxembourg write to their customers in French, German and English, and sometimes in Luxembourgish, and a site built for one of those audiences is not automatically right for the others. A team based in the city can meet you for a workshop, review the content with you and come back quickly when something breaks, which is much harder to organise with a studio working from another country.

Local also matters for funding. The SME Digital scheme described below is granted by the Ministry of the Economy, and a project only qualifies if it meets its conditions. An agency that knows those conditions can shape a project to fit them, and asking about them is one of the fastest ways to test local experience.

That is why this top 10 counts only agencies whose own website shows an address, an office or a team in Luxembourg City. A national agency with no office in the city does not appear here, however good its homepage looks.

What are buyers actually afraid of when they hire a web agency in Luxembourg?

Four fears come back in almost every conversation about a website, and each one can be tested before you sign.

1. Paying for a site that stops working after launch. A website needs hosting, security updates and small changes every few months. Several agencies on this list publish hosting or maintenance next to their design work, and that is the part most often left out of a first quote. Ask what happens in month six, not only on launch day.

2. Paying the full price for something a subsidy would cover. The SME Digital scheme covers 70% of eligible costs for projects between 3000 and 25000 euros excluding VAT, according to the official SME Packages Digital page on guichet.lu, last updated on 11 March 2025. AR Digital, in the top 10, and ECOM LUX, in our honorable mentions, both mention this kind of funding on their homepages. Ask whether your project is eligible before you negotiate the price.

3. Launching a site that does not respect privacy or accessibility rules. Cookies, contact forms and the place where data is hosted all raise privacy questions, and an inaccessible site shuts out part of its audience. Ask where the site will be hosted, how cookie consent is handled and whether the agency tests for accessibility before going live. UX Capital, ranked eighth, sells accessibility audits as a core service.

4. Being locked in. If the domain, the hosting account, the source files or the content sit in the agency's name, leaving becomes expensive. Agree in writing who owns each of them before the project starts.

How did we rank these agencies?

Four criteria, fixed before we checked which agency would win them, applied only to what each agency publishes about itself. Every homepage on this list was reread on 6 November 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days, because agency offers and subsidy rules change.

1. Website creation at the core. Agencies whose homepage presents website creation as a main service come before agencies that list it among many others.

2. Named projects or clients. Projects, case studies or clients named on the site, so the work can be checked.

3. Support after launch. Published hosting, maintenance or support, because a website is judged over years, not on launch day.

4. A readable offer. Published prices, a stated starting point or a method in steps.

What we deliberately did not do: we did not reuse the Google review scores, project counts, growth percentages or performance multipliers displayed on these sites. They cannot be verified from the outside, and a number on a homepage measures marketing, not the quality of the website you would receive.

The 10 best web design agencies in Luxembourg

Homepage of the web design agency Point A Marketing
Point A Marketing lists web design and web development as the first two services on its homepage.

1. Point A Marketing

Point A Marketing is a web design and marketing agency based on Boulevard Prince Henri in Luxembourg City. Its homepage lists web design and web development first, followed by hosting, support and analytics, and it names projects such as Rezco Asset Management, Alis Exchange and Agulhas Fund Solutions. It also offers brand identity, digital marketing strategy and pitch deck design, and it presents itself as working for focused teams across Europe.

Best for: finance and professional firms that want a site designed with their brand and supported after launch. Its named work leans towards asset management and finance, so ask for examples from your own sector before you sign.

Homepage of the WordPress studio Addedsense
Addedsense presents design, hosting and maintenance as one package for small and medium-sized businesses.

2. Addedsense

Addedsense is a WordPress studio in Luxembourg City that says it has been building custom sites since 2005, mainly for small and medium-sized businesses. Its services come as one package: custom WordPress design, hosting in data centres, maintenance with regular updates and security monitoring, content changes on request, accessibility and search optimisation. Its projects section names CEC Luxembourg, Prévention Suicide and J. Wimpfheimer.

Best for: Luxembourg businesses that want one studio for design, hosting and maintenance. Its WordPress focus suits content-led sites, but a company that needs a custom application should look at Apporix instead.

Homepage of the digital agency META
META puts website creation first among its seven disciplines.

3. META

META is an independent digital agency based in Luxembourg City. Its homepage puts the creation of websites first among its seven disciplines, ahead of artificial intelligence, apps and internal tools, online marketing and cybersecurity. It names Mortgage.lu, Colors Business Center and Unicorn Real Estate among its references, and says it works for companies in Luxembourg and the wider Greater Region.

Best for: companies that want a website and AI features or internal tools built by the same team. With seven disciplines on one homepage, ask who will lead the website part and who you will speak to after launch.

Homepage of the digital agency Interact
Interact presents itself as the first digital native agency in Luxembourg, founded in 1995.

4. Interact

Interact presents itself as the first digital native agency in Luxembourg, founded in 1995. Its offer covers the design and development of websites and web portals, integration and analysis, and its office is in Bonnevoie, Luxembourg City. Its references include a web portal for Groupe Enovos, a website for Lëtzebuerger Arméi and a mobile app for BIL.

Best for: large organisations that need portals and institutional sites with many users. Its references are large names, which is reassuring, but a smaller business should ask who will work on its project day to day.

Homepage of the web studio manes.lu
manes.lu publishes web design, development and maintenance among its services.

5. manes.lu

manes.lu is a web studio on Rue Léon Kauffman in Luxembourg City, which says it has been working since 2000. Its homepage lists web design, development, SEO, brand identity, e-commerce, content and strategy, and maintenance and support as its services, and it names Autglas.lu among its local clients.

Best for: local businesses that want web design, search visibility and maintenance from one studio. Many services sit on one page, so ask which ones are included in the price you are quoted.

6. Apporix

Apporix works from Dommeldange in Luxembourg City and builds websites, applications and AI solutions. Its homepage leads with AI agents and cross-platform apps, with web development as a third main service, covering responsive design, SEO and GEO, and SSL and hosting. Its recent projects include Kannerstär, YesToYou and step2step, and it highlights an AI call agent called Anna.

Best for: businesses that want a website connected to custom software or AI tools. Because web development is one service among several, a plain showcase site may get less attention than it would from a studio that only builds websites.

7. AR Digital

AR Digital is a web and digital marketing agency based on Boulevard Marcel Cahen in Luxembourg City. Custom websites come first in its list of services, followed by social media management, search optimisation, advertising, lead generation and data visualisation. Among its recent work it presents the Taverne Gambrinus restaurant, and its homepage promotes the SME Package, which it describes as worth up to 17500 euros.

Best for: local businesses that want a website, search visibility and paid campaigns handled by one team. The offer spans many services, so ask for a quote for the site alone as well as a bundled one.

Homepage of the UX and UI studio UX Capital
UX Capital pairs site design with ongoing support and accessibility expertise.

8. UX Capital

UX Capital is a UX and UI design studio on Avenue Pasteur in Luxembourg City. It designs and builds websites and apps, sells full audits and accessibility audits, and offers an ongoing support plan to keep a site fresh and secure after launch. It says its websites are built to WCAG accessibility standards.

Best for: products and sites where usability and accessibility matter as much as the look. It is a strong choice for a redesign, and a less obvious one for a small brochure site on a tight budget.

Homepage of the web and digital marketing agency Intrépide Studio
Intrépide Studio brings branding, website creation and digital marketing together in one team.

9. Intrépide Studio

Intrépide Studio is a web and digital marketing agency on Rue Nicolas Bové in Luxembourg City, which says it has worked with companies since 2017. Its homepage places branding, web creation, digital marketing and photo and video content side by side, and it promotes work on SEO, SEA and visibility in AI assistants. Its project list includes Roisechamps, a website for holiday accommodation, and a website for luxury hospitality.

Best for: brands that want the website, the visual identity and the photos made by the same team. Hospitality features prominently in the projects we read, so ask for a B2B example before you compare it with the specialists.

Homepage of the web agency Luxbisys
Luxbisys shows starting prices for a showcase website and an online shop on its homepage.

10. Luxbisys

Luxbisys presents itself as a web agency, based on Boulevard de la Pétrusse in Luxembourg City. Its services are websites, WordPress and e-commerce sites, UI and UX design, applications, search optimisation and visual identity. Its homepage publishes starting prices of 599€ for a showcase website and 990€ for an online shop.

Best for: small businesses that want a clear entry price before the first call. A low starting price does not show what is included, so ask what hosting, maintenance and content changes cost each month.

The 10 agencies compared on what matters to buyers

The criteria below were chosen before checking who wins them, and each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own site as of November 2026. When an agency does not publish a piece of information, the cell says so rather than guessing.

Read the "not published" cells as a lack of public information on the pages we read, not a lack of competence. Several of these agencies almost certainly have more references and more support plans than their homepages show, and the honest way to find out is to ask them directly.

What should you check before signing?

Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any portfolio, and each one matches one of the fears above.

1. Who owns the domain, the hosting, the code and the content after launch? The answer should be in writing, with the accounts in your name or transferable to you. An agency that keeps the keys is not necessarily acting in bad faith, but you should know it before the first invoice.

2. What is included each month after launch, and what does it cost? Ask for the maintenance plan, the update schedule and the response time for a broken contact form. If you are a small business, also ask whether your project fits the SME Digital scheme before you agree a price, since the subsidy covers 70% of eligible costs for projects between 3000 and 25000 euros excluding VAT.

3. How will we know the site is working? Agree on one or two indicators you already track, such as contact requests or quote requests, and record their level before the launch. Without that starting point, no report can show whether the new site did better.

Where does this ranking stop?

Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.

It is built only on public information. We read what each agency publishes and checked that the sites were online in November 2026. We did not review any website's code, speed or accessibility, and we did not speak to any client. An agency that communicates little and builds very well will be underrated here.

It cannot know your context. A law firm, a hotel and a start-up do not need the same site. The Best for lines above matter more than the order of the list.

It ages. Subsidy rules, prices and agency offers change. The SME Digital figures come from a scheme page last updated on 11 March 2025, so check the current conditions before you budget.

What can an agency do that software cannot?

This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software on everything that requires understanding a business, choosing a design that fits its customers, and writing copy that sounds like the company. Deciding what a homepage should say first, which pages a visitor needs before they will call, when a redesign is worth it and when a fix is enough: none of that is easy to automate today, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something. For a broader view of when hiring an agency makes more sense than doing the work in house, see our agency guide.

What no website solves on its own is being found and recommended outside its own pages. AI assistants and search engines draw on articles, guides and comparison pages as well as on homepages, so a well-built site that nobody else mentions remains a fragile recommendation.

That is what Sorank works on. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. That last part is not decoration. A study by Aggarwal et al., accepted at KDD 2024 reports that generative engine optimisation can raise visibility in AI answers by up to 40%. It covers generative search engines in general, not the Luxembourg market. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.

Conclusion

If you want a single recommendation: Addedsense if you want a Luxembourg studio that designs, hosts and maintains a WordPress site, Point A Marketing if you want a site with support after launch from a team that has worked with financial firms, manes.lu if you want design, search work and maintenance from one studio, Interact if you run a large organisation and need a portal, and Luxbisys if a published entry price matters most.

And ask who will maintain the site before asking what it will look like. The sites that keep working for years have clear ownership, a maintenance plan and a team that answers. Frequently asked questions

How were the agencies chosen?

Only agencies whose own website shows an address, an office or a team in Luxembourg City were considered. They were ranked on four criteria fixed in advance: website creation at the core of the offer, named projects, published support after launch, and a readable offer. Everything comes from what each agency publishes about itself.

Is there a subsidy that can reduce the cost of a website in Luxembourg?

The SME Digital scheme, run by the Ministry of the Economy, covers 70% of eligible costs for digital projects between 3000 and 25000 euros excluding VAT, according to the official guichet.lu page. Check its current conditions before you budget, since that page was last updated on 11 March 2025.

What should you ask before signing with a web agency?
