Our ranking of the 10 best advertising agencies in Brussels in 2026, built on public proof, scope and offer, with sources and limits stated.

In short
Our ranking of the best advertising agencies in Brussels puts Federate first for creative campaigns, with named work for media and finance brands, followed by Hilarious for loyalty platforms and brand activations and Hurae for interactive and influencer projects. Equation is the strongest choice for strategy carried through to deployment by a team with a published Brussels address, Izoard suits small and medium businesses that want paid video ads run by one team, and Clyde & Bonnie fits brands that want a full-funnel digital plan. The deciding question is not the awards or reach an agency claims. It is whether the agency shows where its team sits in Brussels, how it measures results, and who owns the work once the contract ends.

Choosing among the best advertising agencies in Brussels means choosing a partner you can meet in the same city. According to the Brussels Institute for Statistics and Analysis (IBSA), as reported by BX1 on 24 June 2026, Brussels had 122725 VAT-registered companies in 2024, which is 25549 more than in 2015 and about 26% more. The same IBSA analysis was also reported by The Brussels Times on 24 June 2026. That is a large and growing base of businesses that need advertising, and a market where a local agency can be judged on its own published work.
Advertising is bought face to face. Briefs, approvals and last-minute changes happen in meetings more often than an agency's website suggests, and a team that sits far from the client is harder to brief when a campaign goes wrong. Location does not guarantee quality, but it decides who you can meet and how quickly an idea can be checked. That is why this ranking only admits agencies whose own website states a Brussels address, office or team.
The market is also moving fast. Belgian companies are adopting AI tools quickly: according to Statbel's 2025 survey on ICT use in enterprises, as reported by La Libre Belgique on 2 December 2025, more than one Belgian company in three (34.5%) uses at least one artificial intelligence technology. For an advertising agency, the question is no longer whether its clients will use AI, but who checks what it produces and whether the result still sounds like the brand.
Four fears come up again and again, and they share one root: a Brussels address is not the same thing as a Brussels result.
1. Paying for a presence that is only an address. Some agencies name a city on their website while the people who run the account work somewhere else. Ask where the account lead sits and who attends your briefs, because the Brussels label means little if the work happens elsewhere.
2. Awards and reach that do not turn into customers. Many agency websites display awards, follower counts or view numbers. These are the agency's own claims, and they measure attention rather than sales. A campaign should be tied to something you already measure.
3. Messages that work in one language and fail in another. Brussels is a bilingual city, and many of its buyers move between French, Dutch and English in the same day. A campaign written for one community and translated without care can damage the brand in the other. Ask how the agency plans its languages, not only which languages it speaks.
4. Advertising that breaks Belgian rules. Testimonials, influencer posts and comparative claims must be disclosed and must be provable. Belgium's advertising self-regulation, through the Jury d'Éthique Publicitaire (JEP), handles complaints about advertising, and a complaint can force a campaign to change. An agency that treats compliance as an afterthought exposes your brand to exactly that risk.
Four criteria, fixed before we decided who ranks first, applied only to what each agency publishes about itself. Every agency on this list was read through its own homepage text.
1. Creative or strategic advertising work. The agency designs campaigns or communication, not only media contracts or websites. Agencies that mainly build websites or sell media are placed among the honorable mentions instead.
2. A Brussels base stated on its own site. An address, an office or a team in Brussels, as the agency publishes it. We did not check company registries or verify who actually works where.
3. Proof published on the site. Named clients, selected work or case studies visible on the site. A logo wall counts for less than a project with a title and a description.
4. A clear scope. A stated focus and a list of services. We excluded pure SEO agencies and software tools that compete with Sorank.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not reuse the awards, ratings, view counts or growth percentages displayed on these sites, because they cannot be verified from the outside. This page was written in November 2026 and is scheduled for review every 90 days.

Federate is a creative advertising agency based in Brussels that says it has been taking care of brands since 2013. Its homepage leads with selected work: Keytrade Bank, Immoweb, Fluxys, De Standaard, BX1 and La Presse.be are among the projects listed, and it argues that smart creativity can win attention in an environment of constant distraction.
Best for: brands that want a campaign idea built to earn attention rather than buy it. The site lists its projects by title without publishing results, so ask for the outcomes of the work that matters to you.

Hilarious is an independent creative agency in Brussels, active since 2012, which designs the platforms, games and activations that bring customers back. Its published work includes campaigns and activations for Proximus, Toyota, Bic and L'Oréal, and projects such as Real Devils, eight months with the Diables Rouges.
Best for: brands whose problem is loyalty or a launch that goes unnoticed, and who want the audience to take part rather than just watch. Its site is strongest on activations and games, so a brand that needs long-term positioning work may need a second partner.

Hurae describes itself as a creative agency from Brussels that loves "innovating in communicating". Its work runs from creative content and influencer marketing to AR, VR and AI experiences, and its latest projects include the game Hacker Hotline, the Bisou Awards, and work for Geberit, Immopocket and Westtoer.
Best for: brands that want an interactive or playful project, such as a game or an experience, that draws people into the message. The site names its projects but describes few results, so ask for measures before you write the brief.

Equation is a creative communication agency with its address at Chaussée de La Hulpe 185, 1170 Brussels. It says it has been active across European markets for 30 years, and it works from strategic thinking and creative concepts through to full cross-channel deployment. Its published clients include Bentley Brussels, Porsche Centre Brussels, Sandvik Coromant and SBM Offshore.
Best for: organisations that need strategy, concept and execution from one team, especially in automotive and industry. Its client list leans towards car dealers and industrial firms, so check how it works with consumer brands before you commit.

Hula Hoop presents itself as an international strategic and creative brand laboratory, with more than 70 talents working across branding, advertising, social and influence, digital and media. Brussels is one of the cities listed among its offices, alongside Lyon, Paris, Montreal and Geneva. Its published references include Crédit Agricole, Bacardi and Asics.
Best for: organisations that want brand strategy and advertising in one agency, with access to a network across several cities. Ask which people in Brussels will run the account, because the network is wider than the Brussels team.

Curryketchup is a communication agency in Brussels that says it mixes digital strategy, graphic design, social media, website creation, content, press and creative campaigns. It says it has been working on this recipe for ten years, and its homepage lists clients including Pierre Marcolini, Quartz, Gran Chaco and Caroline Notté.
Best for: small and mid-sized brands that want visual identity, social media and press handled by one team. Its service list is broad, so ask which two or three channels it would focus on for your budget.

Creativeroom describes itself as a senior and agile agency for strategy, branding and digital in Brussels, working with organisations that face complex challenges. Its expertise runs from market analysis, brand audit and positioning to naming, visual identity, rebranding and copywriting.
Best for: organisations that must decide what their brand stands for before buying any creative, for example during a repositioning or a naming project. Its site describes its approach more than its results, so ask for examples from your sector.

Fauves is a branding and storytelling agency in Brussels that says it clarifies brands and designs their stories, identities and digital experiences. Its published projects include rethinking the brand system of the Belgian Red Cross, a launch campaign for a veterinary clinic in Bevet Boitsfort, and a project to turn a singular vision of travel into a strong brand for Sillage.
Best for: cultural, humanitarian and independent brands that need identity and storytelling more than a media plan. Its site shows little paid media, so it is a weaker choice for a performance campaign.

Izoard is a performance marketing agency in Brussels for small and medium businesses. Its studio makes video ads, its services cover Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, TikTok Ads and programmatic, and its homepage presents cases for Barket, BPI and Hairco. It also describes an internal tool that watches budgets, search terms and bids.
Best for: small and medium businesses that want paid ads and video creative managed by one team. The homepage makes strong claims about results, so ask for the reporting on the account you would run rather than the headline figures.

Clyde & Bonnie is a communication agency with its address at Cantersteen 12 in Brussels. It describes full-funnel work across SEO, GEO, Google Ads, social media and web, built around conversion, and says it has been operating since 2008 with a senior-only team. Its method is audit, strategy and execution, and it publishes case studies for clients in Brussels and abroad.
Best for: small and mid-sized brands that want a conversion-focused digital plan from first click to retention. It is more digital and performance-led than creative, so pair it with a creative agency if you need a brand platform.
The criteria below were chosen before we checked who wins them, and each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own site. When a site says nothing about a point, the cell says so rather than guessing.

Read "not published" as a gap in public information, not as a verdict on quality. Several of these agencies serve more kinds of clients than their homepage shows, and the honest way to find out is to ask them.
Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any showreel, and each one answers one of the fears above.
1. Which people in Brussels will work on the account, and where do they sit? Ask for names and roles. A Brussels address on a website answers this question only if the team you meet is the team that runs your campaign.
2. Which result will be measured, and against which starting point? Agree before the start on one or two indicators you already track, and record their level on day one. Without a baseline, no report can show whether the campaign worked.
3. Who owns the accounts, the files and the creative when the contract ends? Ask who holds the ad accounts and the rights to the creative, and how they would be handed over. An agency that answers clearly is one you can leave without losing your work.
Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.
It is built only on public information. We read what each agency publishes and did not audit any campaign, interview any client or verify any result. An agency that communicates little and works very well will be underrated here.
It cannot know your context. The agency that suits a consumer brand is rarely the one that suits a B2B firm with a long sales cycle. The "Best for" lines matter more than the order.
It ages. Agencies merge, move offices and change their focus. The Brussels figure in this article is for 2024, and the Belgian AI figure comes from the 2025 survey, so both will be updated as new data arrives.
This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software on what requires judgement about people: knowing which media a Brussels audience trusts, reading the tone of a French-speaking and a Dutch-speaking campaign, deciding when to drop an idea that looks clever but will not sell, and running a briefing where the client says what it really wants. None of that is automatable today, and anyone who says otherwise is selling you something.
What no agency campaign solves on its own is the content that AI assistants and search engines read when someone asks about your category. A brand praised in a few places but absent from the rest of the web remains a fragile recommendation.
That is what Sorank works on. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site, and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. Being quoted by AI assistants matters as much as being ranked. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.
If you want a single recommendation: Federate if you want a creative campaign that earns attention, Hilarious if loyalty and activations are the problem, Equation if you need strategy, concept and deployment from one Brussels team, Izoard if you are a small or medium business that needs paid video ads run by one team, and Clyde & Bonnie if you want a conversion-focused digital plan.
And ask who will do the work before asking what it will achieve. The best local agency is the one whose Brussels team you meet, whose results you can measure, and whose files you can take with you. These agencies also state a Brussels base on their own sites. They met the Brussels test, but the top ten needed a closer fit on the other criteria.
| Agency | Site | What they publish about themselves |
|---|---|---|
| Hungry Minds | hungryminds.be | Independent creative agency, listing Namur and Brussels on its site |
| Efluenz | efluenz.eu | Influencer marketing agency based in Lille and Brussels, with more than 10000 influencers and creators in its network |
| Clicktrust | clicktrust.be | Performance marketing consultancy in Brussels, combining media, data, training and AI implementation |
| Connexion | connexion.agency | Digital marketing agency with offices in Tournai, Brussels and Paris, which names Delhaize, Kiabi and Feu Vert among its clients |
| Marca Agency | marca-agency.be | Branding, web design and digital marketing agency in Brussels, working in Belgium, France and Morocco |
| Caracascom | caracascom.com | Communication agency with offices in Brussels, focused on cultural events, press relations and influencer marketing |
| Votre Site Pro | votresitepro.be | Web agency in Brussels offering website creation, Google Ads and Facebook Ads |
| Bluetime | bluetime.be | Web agency in Brussels, active across Belgium, offering website creation, SEO and advertising |
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Start with the address and the team the agency publishes on its own site, then ask who will work on your account and where they sit. A Brussels address shows where the agency has a desk, not who will run your campaign.
Agree on one or two indicators you already track, such as sales, sign-ups or requests, and record their level before the campaign starts. Without that starting point, no report can show whether the campaign worked.
Ask this before you sign. The agency should state who holds the ad accounts, the source files and the rights to the creative, and how they would be handed over if you stop working together.
