Table of contents

Review management software asks your buyers for feedback after their order, filters contributions according to written rules, then displays the ratings on your site, on Google and sometimes on your retailers' sites. This ranking compares ten platforms on four questions: who can post a review, how it is checked, where it is shown, and what the subscription costs. Each review relies solely on the vendor's site, read in October 2026.

The 10 best review management software in 2027

  1. Trustpilot: for companies that want a public review page, widgets and a free plan to get started.
  2. Avis Vérifiés: for brands and online retailers that collect product, brand and store reviews with moderation certified to NF ISO 20488.
  3. Trusted Shops: for online stores that want to combine reviews, a trustmark and buyer protection.
  4. Judge.me: for Shopify stores that want unlimited reviews on a free or fixed-price plan.
  5. Feefo: for brands that want to display only reviews from verified customers, requested by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
  6. Trustindex: for small businesses that want to show on their site the reviews already posted on Google and other platforms.
  7. REVIEWS.io: for e-commerce brands that want reviews, customer content and a loyalty program with no annual contract.
  8. Société des Avis Garantis: for French online retailers looking for prices in euros tied to their order volume.
  9. Opinion System: for service professionals (real estate, insurance, driving schools) who want reviews checked before publication.
  10. Bazaarvoice: for brands that want to syndicate their reviews to their retailers' sites.

Why does the choice of a review platform carry weight in 2027?

European authorities keep a close eye on the reliability of reviews published online. On January 20, 2022, the European Commission published the results of a coordinated screening of 223 major websites, carried out in 26 Member States, Iceland and Norway. For 144 of these sites, the authorities could not confirm that the operator was doing enough to ensure reviews were authentic, and they consider that at least 55% of the sites checked potentially breach the Unfair Commercial Practices Directive. And 104 sites did not explain how reviews were collected and processed.

Since then, European Directive 2019/2161, applicable from May 28, 2022, explicitly prohibits selling, buying or submitting fake consumer reviews to promote products. In France, Article L111-7-2 of the French Consumer Code covers anyone who collects, moderates or publishes online consumer reviews. They must give fair, clear and transparent information on how reviews are published and processed, state whether they are checked, display the date of each review and tell a consumer whose review was rejected the reasons for that rejection.

The timing of your review requests, your moderation criteria, how dates are shown and how negative reviews are handled are all set in your review tool. Before you sign, check that it lets you explain these rules to your visitors, on the review page itself.

How were these platforms ranked?

Four criteria, applied to the pages each vendor publishes and read in October 2026. No paid test, no partnership with any vendor.

1. Collection limited to real customers. A request sent after purchase, by email, SMS, WhatsApp or QR code, and a link between the review and an order.

2. Explicit checks. Published moderation rules, any certification (the NF ISO 20488 standard governs the collection, moderation and publication of online reviews), the ability to reply and to report a review.

3. Distribution where your buyers make up their minds. Widgets on your product pages, stars in Google and Google Shopping, social media, retailer sites.

4. An offer that reads clearly for a French buyer. French-language site, prices published in euros, commitment period and what makes the bill vary.

Review volumes, customer counts and ratings displayed by vendors are not used: they cannot be verified from the outside.

The 10 best review management software in detail

1. Trustpilot

Trustpilot publishes your customers' reviews on a profile page hosted on Trustpilot.com, which you feed with automatic invitations sent after purchase. For the first 90 days, a CSV import of your recent orders allows bulk invitations. Reviews then appear on your site through widgets, in your email signatures, and can make your ads eligible for Google star ratings.

The vendor states that automated fraud detection software checks the authenticity of each review. Its Enterprise plan also tracks your brand's share of voice with AI.

Best for: companies that want a public review page and to get started with the free plan.

Strengths: Free plan with no credit card, with 50 invitations per month; automatic invitations, widgets and e-commerce integrations from the Starter plan; reviews still shown on your profile page if you stop the service.

Limitations: paid plans require a 12-month commitment, payable in advance, and each domain is billed separately. Product reviews, location reviews and API access are add-ons, and the Starter plan is reserved for new customers whose revenue does not exceed $5 million.

Pricing: Starter from €79 per month per domain, Plus from €189, Premium from €479, payable annually (price checked on October 10, 2026, VAT treatment not stated); Enterprise on quote; 14-day free trial on the Plus plan.

2. Avis Vérifiés

Avis Vérifiés brings three types of review together in one tool: product reviews (rating, text, photo), brand reviews tied to proof of purchase, and store reviews for each point of sale. The platform automatically asks your customers for feedback after each purchase and lets you customize satisfaction surveys, with metrics such as NPS (likelihood to recommend) or CSAT (satisfaction score).

Collection, management and moderation are certified to NF ISO 20488 by AFNOR, France's standards body. Reviews can then be distributed online (website, third-party review platforms, social media) and offline. AI assists with replies and summarizes reviews, and the vendor also highlights the visibility of reviews on Google and in AI assistants.

Best for: French brands and online retailers that want to manage product, brand and store reviews with certified moderation.

Strengths: site and plan grid in French, with entry prices published in euros; Shopify, PrestaShop and WooCommerce integrations from the Mini plan; stars in Google (rich results, Google Shopping) and distribution on Pages Jaunes (the French Yellow Pages) via So'Local from the Starter plan.

Limitations: store reviews, photos and videos, and AI theme and sentiment analysis start with the Advanced plan, on quote. Multichannel satisfaction surveys and unified customer feedback management are reserved for the Premium plan, also on quote.

Pricing: Mini from €35 per month for 200 orders, Starter from €69 per month for 400 orders, VAT treatment not stated, price checked on October 10, 2026; Advanced and Premium on quote.

3. Trusted Shops

Trusted Shops rests on three pillars: the Marque de confiance (trustmark), the Trustbadge and customer reviews. The trustmark, awarded after a verification process of your store, gives buyers access to the Protection acheteur (buyer protection); the Trustbadge displays it on your site, on desktop and smartphone alike. Your customers leave their reviews on a store profile, which you bring onto your site with widgets, carousels or through the API.

Review authenticity relies on manual and automatic checks; a team handles irregular reviews, and you can flag to it any content that breaks the publication rules. The Social Media Creator, included in every subscription, shares your best reviews on social media. As options, the Reputation Manager splits your review requests between Trusted Shops, Trustpilot and Google My Business, and the Google Integration displays your stars in Google Shopping and Google Ads.

Best for: online retailers that want to reassure their buyers with a label and protection if an order goes wrong, on top of reviews.

Strengths: unlimited review collection from the START plan; trustmark and buyer protection included in the membership; iOS and Android mobile app to manage your reviews.

Limitations: minimum contract term of 12 months and a one-time setup fee of €99. The Google Integration comes with the PRO plan, on request, and unlimited product reviews and the Reputation Manager with the PREMIUM plan, also on request. The annual price depends on your annual sales.

Pricing: START from €99 per month excl. VAT, price checked on October 10, 2026; PRO and PREMIUM on request; 14-day trial with limited access to customer reviews.

4. Judge.me

Judge.me is a product and store review app built for Shopify. Review requests go out automatically, with an adjustable delay, and you can import your existing reviews from other apps, a spreadsheet, AliExpress, Amazon, Etsy or Google Business Profile. Reviews are displayed with text widgets, photo and video galleries, carousels and AI-written summaries.

The vendor also syndicates your reviews to Google Shopping, Google rich results, TikTok Shop, Meta Shop and the Shop app. Among its new features: product FAQs written from reviews and a dashboard of review requests sent.

Best for: Shopify stores, from the first sale to Shopify Plus brands, that want to collect reviews without their bill climbing with volume.

Strengths: a free plan with no time limit, with unlimited product and store reviews, photos and videos; a single fixed-price paid plan, presented as the most you will pay; widgets and emails available in 38 languages.

Limitations: site in English only. App designed for Shopify; AI replies, syndication to Google Shopping and automatic reminders require the paid Awesome plan.

Pricing: Free plan at no cost; Awesome plan published in dollars on the site.

Judge.me describes itself as the go-to review app for Shopify and offers to collect reviews for free.

5. Feefo

Feefo only publishes reviews from verified customers, requested after a transaction. Invitations go out by email in 34 languages, by SMS or by WhatsApp, with automatic reminders, and the customer can reply directly inside the email. Private, unpublished feedback complements product and service reviews.

Reviews appear on your site through more than ten widgets and feed into Google seller ratings and Google Shopping. Its home page also links verified reviews to greater visibility in AI assistants. AI-written summaries and replies are included from the first plan.

Best for: brands that want to display only reviews from verified buyers and to reach their customers on several channels.

Strengths: invitations by email, WhatsApp and SMS from the Essentials plan; more than 50 e-commerce integrations, including Shopify, Klaviyo and WooCommerce; reviews translated on display into more than 34 languages.

Limitations: site in English only. Each plan caps monthly review requests (200 emails on Essentials), and several features cost extra: migration of your existing reviews, Q&A on product pages, review syndication network, content from social media.

Pricing: prices published in pounds sterling on the site, excluding VAT; Plus plan custom.

6. Trustindex

Trustindex displays on your site, with no code, the reviews your customers have already left elsewhere: Google, Facebook, Tripadvisor, Booking.com and more than a hundred other platforms. Widgets are chosen from 36 layouts and 25 preset styles, and reviews update automatically.

The tool also collects new Google and Trustindex reviews by email, QR code or NFC card held near a phone, and suggests replies written with ChatGPT. It adds widgets for your social media and a page that gathers all your reviews.

Best for: small businesses and agencies that want to showcase existing Google or Tripadvisor reviews on their site.

Strengths: a free plan with no time limit and a 7-day trial of the paid features; unlimited sites, widgets and reviews on all paid plans; refund available within 30 days of purchase.

Limitations: site in English only. Automatic AI replies are billed extra, per source and per year, and SMS collection is announced as under development. The tool offers a filter for negative reviews at collection: check how you use it against the information rules on reviews.

Pricing: free plan; paid plans published in dollars on the site, billed annually based on the number of businesses managed.

7. REVIEWS.io

REVIEWS.io collects company and product reviews for e-commerce brands, with invitations segmented by location or purchase history. A reputation management tool directs part of the requests to third-party sites such as Trustpilot or Facebook, and your existing reviews can be imported from Yotpo, Okendo or Trustpilot.

On the display side, the vendor offers review widgets, shoppable galleries of customer content, review snippets placed near the buy button and Google stars. The home page also highlights presence in searches made with AI.

Best for: e-commerce brands that want to bring reviews, customer content and loyalty together, while keeping the option to stop any month.

Strengths: monthly plans, with no annual contract, and a 20% discount for annual payment; you remain the owner of your reviews and content, exportable at any time; free plan with 25 invitations and a 14-day trial.

Limitations: site in English only. The price is calculated per domain, each top-level domain counting as a separate subscription, and AI replies, API access and multilingual translation start with the Plus plan.

Pricing: prices published in dollars on the site, with amounts followed by the label AUD and a note that states them in US dollars: currency to confirm with the vendor.

8. Société des Avis Garantis

Société des Avis Garantis installs as a module in your store's back office and sends each customer a review request email after their order, with a configurable delay and trigger status. The customer first gives a review of the site, then a rating for each product ordered, and their input is saved as they go.

Site reviews feed a certificate of trust, a page hosted by the solution and designed to show up on searches such as "site name reviews". Product reviews are displayed with two widgets and generate stars in search results. The price grid also lists AI-written review summaries and reply suggestions.

Best for: French online retailers that want to pay according to their order volume, with no commitment, and with support in France.

Strengths: sales team, technical support and hosting based in France; no commitment, cancellation by simple email with 72 hours' notice; migration of your existing reviews offered.

Limitations: moderation is left to the merchant, so it is up to you to publish your rules carefully. Photo and video reviews, Google My Business reviews, Google Shopping stars and multilingual support are not in every plan, and each order beyond the included volume is billed extra (€0.09 on the Mini plan).

Pricing: Mini at €29 per month billed annually (€35 monthly) for 200 orders, up to Ultimate at €249 (€299 monthly) for 14,000 orders, VAT treatment not stated, price checked on October 10, 2026. First month free.

9. Opinion System

Opinion System defines itself as an independent polling institute, whose review collection and checking method holds three certifications from AFNOR, including NF ISO 20488 for online reviews. Each review comes from a documented transaction and is checked before publication, and the vendor specifies that no compliant review can be deleted by the professional being rated, whether it is positive or negative.

Reviews are shown on your site, on specialist sites for your trade, on social media and in your premises. A satisfied customer can also republish their review on Google in a few clicks.

Best for: professionals in real estate, insurance, mortgage brokerage, wealth management, driving schools and personal services who want reviews checked by a third party.

Strengths: every review checked before publication; a public directory where individuals find verified professionals; a free reputation audit and a demo on request.

Limitations: the professional cannot remove a compliant review they dislike, which is the very principle of the service. The site mentions no integration with an online store, and the sectors it presents are service trades.

Pricing: prices not published on the site; demo on request.

10. Bazaarvoice

Bazaarvoice organizes its offer into three solutions: Source to collect reviews, photos and videos, Display to show them on your own channels, and Amplify to syndicate them to retailers. The vendor publishes your content on the sites of the retailers in its network.

For a launch, Bazaarvoice connects you with its Influenster community, whose members test your products then write reviews and post photos. The platform adds Q&A, shoppable image galleries and sentiment analysis.

Best for: brands sold through many retailers that want their reviews to follow them onto every merchant site.

Strengths: home page and product page in French; review syndication to retailers in the Bazaarvoice network; sampling with testers to get reviews as soon as a product launches.

Limitations: the Ratings & Reviews API, the mobile app kit and syndication to retailers are reserved for the Enterprise plan. Each plan comes with a recommended setup service.

Pricing: prices not published; plans tailored to each customer by the sales team.

What should you look at before choosing?

1. Who is allowed to post a review? Some platforms only invite customers who have placed an order: Feefo advertises 100% verified customer reviews, Avis Vérifiés ties its brand reviews to proof of purchase, Opinion System starts from a documented transaction. Trustindex, for its part, mainly gathers reviews already posted on Google or Tripadvisor.

2. What happens to a negative review? Ask who moderates, under what rules, and whether you can remove a review. At Société des Avis Garantis, moderation falls to the merchant; at Opinion System, no compliant review can be deleted by the professional. A consumer whose review is rejected must be told why: check how the tool passes this on to them.

3. Where will your reviews be visible? List the places that count: product pages, stars in Google Shopping, social media, retailer sites, a public page on the platform. Check which plan includes each one.

4. What will push the bill up? Domains, orders, invitations or businesses managed: each vendor counts differently. Also look at the commitment period: 12 months at Trustpilot and Trusted Shops, no commitment at Société des Avis Garantis, monthly plans at REVIEWS.io.

5. Do you keep your reviews if you switch tools? Trustpilot states that your reviews remain shown on your profile if you stop, REVIEWS.io that you remain the owner of your reviews and can export them, and several vendors (Feefo, REVIEWS.io, Société des Avis Garantis) offer to import the ones you already have.

Where does this ranking stop?

It describes offers without having tested them. Every piece of information comes from the site of the vendor concerned, read in October 2026: we neither sent review requests nor measured response rates. A vendor that says little about its features or prices may look less complete here than it really is.

It leaves out two neighboring categories. Tools whose main product is local presence (managing the Google listings of your locations) or visibility in AI assistants, a field close to Sorank's, are not included.

It knows neither your sector nor your volume. A Shopify store just starting out and a brand sold through hundreds of retailers have different needs. Start from the Best for line of each review, the rank comes next; check prices and terms on the vendor's site before you commit. This ranking will be updated regularly.

Your reviews are collected: how do future customers find you?

The pages of your own site, articles and guides that answer your buyers' questions on Google or ChatGPT, are a separate project from your reviews. A review platform gathers and presents what your customers say about you; these pages explain what you do.

Sorank takes care of that content. The software first measures your presence in AI assistants and identifies the keywords to target. It then writes articles designed for AI assistants for your site and puts them online, after review as drafts if you wish. Depending on your plan, it also tracks 25 to 150 prompts in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini to show you when your brand is cited, as our GEO software page explains. To find out what this would look like on your site, book a call.

Conclusion

Three profiles, three choices: Avis Vérifiés for a French online retailer that wants product, brand and store reviews, certified moderation and entry prices in euros; Judge.me for a Shopify store that wants to collect unlimited reviews with a free plan and then a fixed price; Opinion System for a service professional, in real estate or insurance for example, who wants reviews checked by a third party before they are published.

Whatever the tool, start with your rules: which customers you ask, at what moment, how you handle a negative review and what you say about it on your review page. Only then, use the trial offered by Trustpilot, Trusted Shops, REVIEWS.io, Trustindex or Société des Avis Garantis to test the tool on your own customers.

Frequently asked questions

What is review management software?

It is a tool that asks your customers for a review after their purchase, gathers their responses, helps you moderate and reply to them, then displays them on your site and elsewhere: stars in Google, social media, retailer sites. Several platforms in this ranking, such as Feefo or Judge.me, add AI-written summaries and replies.

What rules apply to online customer reviews in France?

Article L111-7-2 of the French Consumer Code covers anyone who collects, moderates or publishes online consumer reviews. It requires fair, clear and transparent information on how reviews are published and processed, a statement of any checks, the date of each review and an explanation to the author when a review is refused publication. It also provides for a free feature to report a reasoned doubt about a review's authenticity.

Is there free review management software?

Yes, several vendors offer a free plan. Trustpilot lets you send 50 invitations per month with no credit card, Judge.me offers a free plan with unlimited reviews for Shopify stores, Trustindex a free plan with no time limit, and REVIEWS.io a free plan with 25 invitations. Advanced distribution features remain in the paid plans.
