Compare the 10 best web agencies in Geneva: published prices, Geneva presence, named client work and what to check before signing a website contract.

In short
BaseGraphic is the clearest on price for a small showcase site, with three monthly formulas from CHF 70. Élodie Castillo Studio suits independents who want one point of contact from the first call to going live. Digital Swiss Agency fits small businesses that want their website and their advertising run by one team, with the price announced before the work starts. fastdigital is the choice for an app or a SaaS platform built by developers, Atipik for custom business software in demanding sectors, and Affluence for a fast turnaround with marketing under the same roof. The deciding criterion is not the number of reviews an agency displays, it is whether it tells you plainly what you get, for what price, and who maintains the site after launch.

Choosing among the web agencies in Geneva starts with a fact about buyers: they increasingly shop online. According to Handelsverband.swiss's study with NIQ/GfK and Swiss Post, published on 12 March 2026, Swiss consumers spent CHF 15.8 billion online in 2025, up 6% on the year before. Whatever a Geneva business sells, its website is now part of how it is judged.
Geneva adds its own constraints. French is the default, English and German are often needed in international teams, and a price is read in francs by a buyer who may also compare it with suppliers across the border. This ranking therefore keeps only the agencies that show a Geneva address, office, studio or team on their own site. The top ten are described in full, and the honourable mentions at the end are other agencies with a Geneva base that came up in our reading.
A local agency is not automatically a better one. What a Geneva studio can offer is knowledge of how businesses in the city buy, which languages they need, and the ability to meet in person when a project changes direction. The canton's own economic analysis shows how much weight the sector carries here: published by the Canton of Geneva on 5 November 2025, it puts information technology and digital activities at 2.9% of Geneva's GDP in 2022, within five sectors that together make up 47% of the canton's GDP.
A top 10 is useful because it compares agencies on the same terms. Most agency homepages say the same things: quality, creativity, partnership. Set side by side on a price, a Geneva address and a published client list, the differences become visible.
Four fears come up again and again, and each one can be checked before signing.
1. Paying for a site they do not really own. The code, the domain name, the hosting account and the content can end up in the agency's name. Ask who holds each one and what you would need to move the site elsewhere.
2. Not knowing where the data sits. A contact form, a booking tool or a newsletter sign-up collects personal data. Swiss data protection law applies to Geneva businesses, and European clients bring the GDPR into the picture. Ask where the site and its forms are hosted, and who can read the data they collect.
3. Monthly fees that never seem to stop. A low monthly price can be a good deal or a long commitment. Compare the total over twelve to twenty-four months, and ask what happens to the site if the subscription ends.
4. Being left alone after launch. A site that is not updated loses its value quickly. Ask who maintains it, how quickly they answer, and whether the person you meet first is the one you will call later.
Four criteria, fixed before we looked at who wins them, each applied only to what the agency publishes about itself. We read the homepage text of each agency in November 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days.
1. Web creation as a core offer. Agencies that present website or app creation as their main business come before those that list it among many services.
2. A visible Geneva presence. An address, an office, a studio or a team in Geneva, shown on the agency's own site. National agencies without a Geneva base are not included.
3. Proof published on the site. Named clients or projects, and reviews or awards attributed to a source.
4. A readable offer. Published prices or named formulas, or a method presented in steps.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not count the review scores, ratings or growth figures displayed on these sites as facts. They are the agencies' own statements, and when we report one, we attribute it. Where a homepage does not show a price, the comparison table says Not published, because we did not look beyond the homepage.

BaseGraphic is a Geneva webmaster and graphic design studio that builds WordPress sites and handles their maintenance and search optimisation. It is the clearest agency on this list about price: its homepage publishes three monthly formulas. Starter is CHF 70 per month for a showcase site of one to three pages, with a mobile version and regular updates. Standard is CHF 140 per month for up to five pages, with basic SEO and training to manage the site. Pro is CHF 200 per month for up to ten pages, with premium design, advanced features and maintenance. It lists finished sites by client name, including Etude Rochat and Izakaya Kinjo.
Best for: small businesses that want a predictable monthly budget for a showcase site. The nuance is that a monthly fee is a commitment: compare the total over a year or two, and check the page limits, which matter as much as the price.

Élodie Castillo Studio is a Geneva WordPress studio for entrepreneurs and small businesses. Its homepage sets out what it promises: one point of contact from the first call to going live, training so the client can run the site without depending on the studio, prices displayed without surprises, and a website announced in seven days. It offers two formulas adapted to the stage of the business, along with WordPress audit and coaching and workshops. The homepage gives a starting price of CHF 1990 for WordPress sites, and it presents the studio's achievements.
Best for: independents and small firms that want a single, personal contact and a site they can manage themselves afterwards. The nuance is that a studio built around one contact depends on that person's availability: ask what happens during holidays or illness, and who takes over.

Digital Swiss Agency is a Geneva digital marketing agency for small businesses and independents in Geneva, Lausanne and across French-speaking Switzerland. It builds websites and works on search, paid advertising on Meta, TikTok, Google and LinkedIn, social media and automation. Its homepage describes four steps: a first exchange, a price announced in advance, the client's validation, then the site online and followed up. It names packages such as Express, Pro and Premium, promises an answer within 24 hours, and shows a 5.0 rating on Google. According to the site, its founder has worked in digital marketing since 2017 and previously passed through Publicis Media. Its published projects include SOS-Smart in Luins (VD).
Best for: small businesses that want a website and its advertising handled by one team, with the price announced before work starts. The nuance is breadth: a team that does websites, ads, social media and automation can spread its attention, so ask how much of the first months goes to the site itself.

fastdigital is a Geneva development studio for websites, mobile apps and multi-tenant SaaS platforms. Its homepage names the technologies it works with, including Next.js, TypeScript, React, React Native, Node.js, PostgreSQL and AWS, and lists five kinds of work: SaaS or web applications, mobile apps, custom sites, consulting and architecture audits, and maintenance. It says it works with independents, SMEs, startups and creative agencies, describes itself as made in Geneva, and cites a recent project, tobill.ch. It claims transparent pricing but shows no amount in the text we read.
Best for: startups and product teams that need an app or a SaaS platform built by developers, not a brochure site. The nuance is that transparent pricing is claimed but not shown on the homepage: ask for a written quote, and for the monthly cost of maintenance after launch.
EWM SA is a Geneva digital agency that designs websites, online shops and business platforms, and adds AI automation, SEO and advertising for companies in Switzerland. Its homepage has sections for projects delivered, years of experience, loyal partners and prizes and awards, but the text we read gives no figures for them. It highlights UI and UX design, and says its sites are fast, multilingual and ready for SEO.
Best for: companies that want a website connected to business software, process automation and multilingual content. The nuance is that its proof sits behind a project selection rather than on the homepage, so review that selection before comparing it with the others.

Atipik is a Geneva software studio that has worked in the city for 16 years, according to its homepage. It designs and builds custom applications, websites and business software that work on small and large screens. Its published work is in demanding sectors: a tracking platform for surgeons and medical research, a tool that produces billing statements for doctors, a large-scale digital transformation for GEROFINANCE, Régie du Rhône, and a smart metering rollout for the Services Industriels de Genève.
Best for: organisations with complex processes, public bodies and regulated sectors that need software built around their work. The nuance is that its homepage is about products and applications more than brochure sites, so for a simple showcase site, ask for a quote on the website alone.

Affluence is a web agency based in Geneva that brings site creation, digital marketing, branding and software development under one roof. Its homepage promises a custom, turnkey website in under three weeks, for showcase or e-commerce sites, and it offers SEO and Google Ads services. It displays a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from more than 50 reviews, and it offers a discovery call to start the conversation.
Best for: small firms that want the site and the marketing around it from the same team, with a fast launch. The nuance is that the three-week promise also depends on the client: ask what it requires from you, such as content and approvals, and what the review count is based on.

CHOCOWEB is a web agency for French-speaking Switzerland with a Geneva branch, and it says it has been building websites for 25 years. It covers showcase sites, e-commerce, redesigns, SEO and custom web design for SMEs and associations. Its homepage shows examples of websites built for clients, offers a free quote, and promises a preview of the future site in two minutes.
Best for: SMEs and associations that want an established studio with a Geneva branch and a free quote. The nuance is that no price list appears on the homepage, so the quote is the only way to compare: ask who maintains the site after launch.

Abonobo is a Geneva agency and engineering firm that builds websites and mobile apps, and integrates ERP, CRM, PIM, DAM and other business tools. Its homepage describes agile software engineering carried out by engineers, integrators and developers, and sets out four ways of working: autonomy and creativity, involvement and qualifications, flexibility and pragmatism, and support and coaching. It has sections for clients and testimonials, but no prices on the homepage.
Best for: companies whose website has to connect to systems they already run. The nuance is that its engineering profile suits integration work; for a simple brochure site, ask for the scope and the price in writing before committing.

CodeDev is a Geneva web agency that builds websites, custom business platforms and SaaS products, and maintains them after launch. Its homepage places the team in central Geneva, a short walk from the lake, and names clients through their logos, among them SIG and CHUV. Its published method starts with a complete audit of a digital setup in five parts: architecture and performance, code quality and security, third-party APIs, updates and dependencies, and infrastructure. It publishes no prices: the quote is the step to take, and the homepage promises a tailored estimate.
Best for: businesses that already have a site or platform and want it audited, secured and maintained, or that need a business platform built to measure. The nuance is that the homepage shows client logos and two testimonials without company names, and no prices, so ask for a written quote and a list of projects before comparing.
The criteria below were chosen before we checked who wins them, and each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own homepage in November 2026. Where the homepage does not show a piece of information, the cell says so rather than guessing.
| Agency | Stated focus | Geneva base | Prices published | Named clients or projects |

Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any portfolio, and each one answers one of the fears above.
1. Who owns the site, the code, the domain name and the content once you have paid? Ask for the answer in writing. If it is unclear, you may not be able to move the site without rebuilding it.
2. What happens after launch, and what does it cost each month? Ask who maintains the site, what a monthly plan includes, and what happens to the site if the subscription stops. A low monthly fee can leave updates, hosting or support billed separately.
3. What exactly is included in the price? Compare the number of pages, the languages, the copywriting, the photos, the training and the time before launch. Two quotes with the same price can deliver very different sites.
Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.
It is built only on public information. We read the homepage text of each agency and checked that the sites were online. We did not audit any site, interview any client, test loading times or verify a single result. An agency that communicates little and works very well will be underrated here.
It cannot know your context. A studio that builds WordPress brochure sites is not the right partner for an engineering firm integrating an ERP. The Best for lines matter more than the order.
It ages. Agencies change their offers, their prices and their teams, and new studios enter the market. This page is reviewed every 90 days.
This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software on everything that requires understanding a business, choosing what not to build, and making decisions with a client in the room. Asking the right question about a business before deciding on its design, cutting a feature that will confuse its customers, or taking responsibility when a launch slips: none of that is automatable today, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something. In Geneva, that also means checking, before you sign, which languages the team works in, whether you can meet the team in person, and whether the quote is in francs. For a broader view of when an agency makes more sense than doing the work in house, see our comparison of freelancers, employees and partner agencies.
What no agency solves on its own is what happens after the site is live. AI assistants and search engines read more than a homepage: they draw on articles, guides and comparison pages, and a site that is praised but never explains its own expertise remains a weak recommendation.
That is what Sorank works on. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. Being quoted by AI assistants rather than only found in a search depends on what your own site says, in a way that can be checked, and that is the part Sorank measures. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.
If you want a single recommendation: BaseGraphic if you want a clear monthly price for a small showcase site, Élodie Castillo Studio if you want one personal contact from the first call to going live, Digital Swiss Agency if you want the site and its advertising under one team, with the price announced upfront, fastdigital or Atipik if you need an app or business software, and Abonobo if the site must connect to systems you already run.
Ask what you own and what happens after launch before you ask what the launch costs. To place a new website among the other channels that bring clients, see the 50 best customer acquisition channels in 2026.

This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Ask for the answer in writing before you sign. If it is unclear, you may not be able to move the site to another provider without rebuilding it.
Ask who maintains the site, what a monthly plan includes, and what happens to the site if the subscription stops. A low monthly fee can leave updates, hosting or support billed separately.
Compare the number of pages, the languages, the copywriting, the photos, the training and the time before launch. Two quotes with the same price can deliver very different sites.
