In short
BeFound SEO tops our ranking of the best SEO agencies in Dublin: it puts SEO at the centre of its offer, starts with a diagnostic audit, and ties its reporting to leads and revenue. &Grow suits Dublin businesses that want SEO run alongside email and paid search by one team, First Page Digital fits service businesses that need a website, SEO and Google Ads handled together, Hello Digital is a fit for small businesses that want one senior consultant, and Canvas Marketing suits companies that want SEO inside a full marketing team. The deciding criterion is not the rank an agency gives itself, but whether it names its clients, shows its method and says plainly who does the work.

Choosing among the best SEO agencies in Dublin starts with a simple fact: Irish businesses are already online. According to the Central Statistics Office's Information Society Statistics for enterprises in 2025, 66.5% of Irish enterprises had goods, services or price information on their websites, in a release published on 6 February 2026. The real question is therefore not whether to be visible, but who will make the site visible and can prove it.
A Dublin agency is not better by default, but it answers a question buyers actually ask: who will be accountable for our visibility in our own market? Many people search for an SEO agency in Dublin because they want a partner who understands the Irish market and can name the Irish businesses it has worked with, not a package sold the same way in every country.
Search is no longer the only place where a Dublin buyer meets a business. The same CSO release reports that 74.2% of Irish enterprises used social media in 2025, so an agency has to think about where a customer finds a company, not only about its ranking.
A top 10 matters because Dublin has many agencies that say the same things about themselves. Ten agencies checked against the same evidence give a buyer a shortlist to test, not a verdict. Every agency listed below states a Dublin presence on its own website.
Four fears come up again and again in this market, and they share one root: SEO results are slow, hard to see from the outside, and easy to promise.
1. Paying for a Dublin label. Some agencies show a Dublin address but do the work elsewhere, or hand the account to a junior team you never meet. Ask who does the work, where those people sit, and who answers your calls. Our criteria require Dublin on the agency's own site, which is necessary but not enough.
2. Buying a ranking guarantee. Google decides its own results, so no agency can promise a position. Some agencies in this market use guarantee language anyway. Ask what is measured, and what the agency does in the months when results do not come.
3. Trusting proof that cannot be checked. Testimonials and case studies only help if a real person stands behind them. According to the Central Statistics Office data reported by the Irish Examiner on 19 December 2025, four in five people (80%) had doubts about the accuracy of information they saw or read online in 2025, up from 63% in 2023. Buyers are right to be sceptical, so ask for a named client you can call.
4. Paying for work you cannot see. A monthly fee for activity that nobody explains is a fear many buyers share. Ask for a sample report before you sign, and agree in writing on what will appear in it.
Four criteria, fixed before we checked which agency would win, and applied only to what each agency publishes about itself. Every homepage on this list was reread in November 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days, because local agency sites change often.
1. SEO as a main service. Agencies that present SEO as one of their core offers come before generalists that list it among many services.
2. Dublin named on the site. The agency's own website must say it is based in Dublin, has an office there, or has a team working in the city. A national agency with no Dublin mention is not listed, however strong its reputation elsewhere.
3. Proof published on the site. Named clients, case studies, or testimonials attributed to a person.
4. A readable offer. A method in steps, a free audit or consultation, or a published price or duration.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not reuse the awards, the "number one" claims, the ranking promises or the client counts shown on these sites. Those claims cannot be verified from the outside, so each one appears only as the agency's own statement. We also did not treat a missing price as a weakness: where a site is silent, the table says "Not published".

BeFound SEO describes itself as an SEO agency in Dublin that businesses have trusted since 2009, working with small businesses across Ireland and internationally. Its homepage sets out a three-step method: a Diagnostic Audit, then a Prioritised Roadmap, then Execute and Report. Its six services include local SEO, on-site SEO with AI, Google Ads management, SEO audits, link building and content marketing, and it invites visitors to see case studies. The site says its reports are tied to qualified leads rather than impressions.
Best for: Dublin and Irish businesses that want SEO judged on leads and revenue, starting with an audit before any spend. Its list of six services is broad, so ask which team members will run the technical work and who writes the content.

&Grow presents itself as a Dublin growth partner for ambitious Irish businesses and says it has been trusted since 2018. SEO is the first of its four services, followed by Google Ads, email and AI search. Its homepage shows examples, including making a Temple Bar pub visible on Google and 519% email list growth in eight weeks for Perpetua Fitness, and its first step is a 20 minute intro call.
Best for: Dublin businesses that want SEO run alongside email and paid search by the same team. SEO is one of four services, so ask how much senior time goes to organic search in your account.

First Page Digital is a digital marketing agency that presents itself as a Dublin option for service businesses that want more enquiries. It brings together website design, SEO and Google Ads, and its homepage lays out a four-step process: a free audit, a build, optimisation, then reporting. It names clients such as Midlands Workforce, The Body Shop and Flexistays, and has a testimonials section.
Best for: service businesses that need a website, SEO and paid search handled by one agency, and that want a free audit before committing. Ask to speak with one of the named clients before you sign.

Hello Digital is a Dublin consultancy written in the first person by a single consultant. The homepage describes a certified Google Partner with over 20 years of experience, including time on the Google Search team, who offers one-to-one advice to small Irish businesses on SEO, AI search, content, Google Ads and paid social. The first step is a free consultation.
Best for: small Dublin businesses that want one senior person to advise them directly, with no account team. The Google Search background is the consultant's own claim and cannot be checked from outside, so ask for examples of work and results.

Daily Digital says it is celebrating ten years of helping Irish businesses grow. Its homepage asks "Why Choose Daily Digital as Your SEO Company in Dublin?" and describes an SEO process that runs from research and auditing through to quality link building. Its wider range covers Google Ads, Meta Ads, social media, email, WhatsApp marketing and web design.
Best for: small and medium Dublin businesses that want SEO, social media and paid advertising from one supplier. A broad range can dilute focus, so ask who runs the SEO work day to day and how it is reported.

Dublin Website Solutions is a local agency for small businesses and start-ups in Dublin. It presents itself as local and hands-on, and offers website design, an SEO consultation with a clear plan, website audits and social media strategy. Its site includes a customer testimonials section and a FAQ on SEO consultancy and web design, and it invites visitors to book a free consultation.
Best for: Dublin start-ups and small shops that need a website and a first SEO plan on a budget the site describes as affordable. No prices are published, so ask for a written scope and price before you agree to anything.

Globe Boss describes itself as a Dublin SEO agency that helps businesses across Ireland grow through SEO, PPC and digital marketing. Its homepage offers a free audit and a free website SEO score, and it lists technical SEO, content strategy and local SEO among its services. Its homepage presents a data-first approach that it says has helped clients grow.
Best for: Dublin businesses that want a free audit before deciding anything. Ask for references and for a sample audit of a site similar to yours.

3R Consulting puts SEO and AI search at the centre of its offer, alongside Google and ChatGPT ads and WordPress websites. Its homepage is written for people searching for SEO consultants in Dublin, and it lists monthly SEO and AI search packages, a set-up package and a corporate option, with a "Get a Quote Now" call to action.
Best for: businesses that want a monthly SEO retainer and a website build from one supplier. No prices are shown, so ask for the monthly fee and a list of what each package leaves out.

Cian Murphy Digital calls itself a boutique digital marketing practice in Dublin that advises across the whole marketing mix. Its homepage carries a testimonial attributed to Seán M., who describes twelve years of work together, from large website clean-ups to new websites built from scratch and grown over time. It also has a short FAQ that explains the difference between SEO and PPC, and it asks visitors to book a consultation.
Best for: businesses that want a senior consultant rather than an account team. The practice is small, so ask how much capacity it has for your project and who covers when the consultant is unavailable.

Canvas Marketing describes itself as Dublin-based and working nationwide, bringing strategy, SEO, paid media, creative and web development together in one full-service offer. Its homepage lists press mentions, including Barchart and USA TODAY, and headlines about AI visibility work for a clinic in Perth, and about an Irish marketing couple who grew Australian beauty companies' profits by over €1.2 million a year.
Best for: businesses that want SEO inside a wider marketing team, including paid media and web builds. SEO is one service among several, so ask who leads the SEO work and how it is reported separately.
The criteria below were chosen before checking who wins them, and each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own site as of November 2026. When an agency does not publish a piece of information, the cell says so rather than guessing.
| Agency | Stated target | SEO offer | Published entry point | Prices published |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| BeFound SEO | Small businesses in Ireland and abroad | Technical SEO, local SEO, audits, link building | Diagnostic audit, proposal request | Not published |
| &Grow | Ambitious Irish businesses | Technical, content and local SEO | 20 minute intro call | Not published |
| First Page Digital | Service businesses | SEO alongside website design and Google Ads | Free audit | Not published |
| Hello Digital | Small Irish businesses | Local SEO, AI search, content | Free consultation | Not published |
| Daily Digital | Small and medium Irish businesses | Research, auditing, link building | Not clearly stated | Not published |
| Dublin Website Solutions | Small businesses and start-ups in Dublin | SEO consultation and website audit | Free consultation | Not published |
| Globe Boss | Businesses across Ireland | Technical SEO, content strategy, local SEO | Free audit | Not published |
| 3R Consulting | Businesses seeking more leads and sales | Monthly SEO and AI search packages | Get a quote | Not published |
| Cian Murphy Digital | Businesses seeking traffic, sales and revenue | SEO and PPC advice | Consultation | Not published |
| Canvas Marketing | Growing businesses in Ireland | SEO inside a full-service offer | Services and portfolio pages | Not published |
Read the "Not published" cells as a lack of public information, not a lack of competence. Several of these agencies probably serve more types of clients than their homepage shows, and the honest way to find out is to ask them directly.
Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any case study, and each one matches one of the fears above.
1. Who does the work, and from where? The answer should name the people on your account and the city they work in. A Dublin address with a team working elsewhere is the first fear on this list.
2. Which named client can I call? Ask for one reference from a business like yours, and ask what it measured before and after the work. A testimonial with a name and a company is worth more than an unnamed quote.
3. What will be measured, and against what starting point? Agree on two indicators you already track, such as enquiries, sales or branded searches, and record their level on day one. Without a baseline, no report can tell you whether the work paid off.
Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.
It is built only on public information. We read what each agency publishes and checked that the sites were online in November 2026. We did not audit any campaign, read any report, interview any client or verify a single result. An agency that communicates little and works very well will be underrated here.
It cannot know your context. A shop in Dublin city centre and a B2B software company selling across Ireland need different partners. The Best for lines matter more than the order.
It ages. Agencies in this market appear, change their offers and disappear. This page is reviewed every 90 days, and the reread date is stated in the method.
This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software on everything that requires knowing a city, a market and the people in it: understanding why a local customer chooses one business over another, deciding which local directories and partnerships are worth the time, and writing content that a Dublin buyer will trust. None of that is automatable today, and anyone who says otherwise is selling you something. For a broader view of when hiring an agency makes more sense than running SEO in house, see our agency guide.
What an agency cannot solve alone is the steady flow of pages that answers buyers' questions, and the monitoring of how AI assistants describe your business. That is what Sorank works on. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site, and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.
If you want a single recommendation: BeFound SEO if you want SEO judged on leads and an audit before any spend, &Grow if you want SEO run alongside email and paid search, First Page Digital if your website and SEO must be handled together, and Hello Digital if you want one senior consultant at small-business scale.
And ask how the agency will prove its work before you ask what it promises. The Dublin agencies worth hiring can name their clients, explain their method and say who does the work. For the other channels that feed your pipeline, read our 50 best customer acquisition channels in 2026.

This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
We checked each agency's own website against four criteria fixed in advance: SEO as a main service, Dublin named on the site, published proof, and a readable method or offer.
No. A Dublin mention is a condition for being listed, not a sign of quality. That is why the criteria also check named clients, case studies and a readable method.
Ask who does the work and where they work from, which named client you can call, and which indicators will be measured from day one, then get the answers in writing.
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU
