In short
Helsinki SEO tops our ranking of the best SEO agencies in Helsinki for local businesses that want a monthly contract without commitment and a free audit before they pay anything. iSEO is the agency to compare if you want a published monthly price, from 699€ per month. Intentio fits companies that want SEO and AI discoverability run together with paid media and judged on sales. DigiSilta is the choice for a small business that needs a website built for search at a known price, and Karhu Helsinki suits organisations that want a site rebuilt on user research. The deciding criterion is not the number of rankings an agency claims, it is whether it tells you what you pay each month, what you get for it, and how it will prove the result.

Choosing among SEO agencies in Helsinki means choosing a partner for a market where buyers look up a company before they call it. According to a Statistics Finland release published on 17 December 2024, 24% of Finnish enterprises used AI technologies in spring 2024, nine percentage points more than a year earlier. Search and AI assistants now sit between many companies and their customers, and eight of the ten agencies in this ranking list AI visibility among their services.
Local search still decides who gets the call. Before hiring a plumber, a dentist or a software firm, many people in Helsinki search for the company name followed by "Helsinki", or for the service itself. In 2021, 57% of Finns aged 16 to 89 had bought something online in the previous three months, according to Statistics Finland, so buying online was already routine well before AI assistants arrived. Helsinki is also a large market: the City of Helsinki's statistics release of 24 June 2026 counts 64028 residents in the 30 to 34 age group, the largest age group in the city.
A top 10 is only useful if it is limited to agencies that really work in the city. Every agency below has an address, an office or a team in Helsinki on its own website. An agency based elsewhere, or a national network without a Helsinki office, is not in this list.
Four fears come up again and again, and they share one root: SEO results take months to show, so buyers have to trust a promise they cannot check yet.
1. Paying every month for work nobody can see. A monthly SEO fee is only worth it if the agency explains what it does each month: technical fixes, content, links and reporting. A fee with no list of deliverables leaves you unable to judge the value.
2. Being locked into a long contract. Many buyers discover the commitment after signing. Look for the minimum duration, the notice period, and what happens to the pages and articles the agency wrote for you if you stop.
3. Shortcuts that Google punishes. Buying links from unrelated sites, or stuffing pages with keywords, can help for a few weeks and then cost the rankings you paid for. A good agency explains where its links come from and why each page exists.
4. Reports that show rankings but not business. A position on a search term matters only if it brings calls, quote requests or sales. Agree in advance which result you will measure, and record its starting level on day one.
Four criteria, chosen before checking which agency meets them, and applied only to what each agency publishes about itself. Every homepage on this list was reread on 6 November 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days.
1. SEO as a core offer. Agencies whose homepage presents search work as the main service come first. An agency that lists SEO as one line among many can still qualify, but it has to show that search is a real service and not a side product.
2. A readable offer. A published price, a monthly package or a free audit, with the commitment stated clearly.
3. Proof published on the site. A named client with a quantified result, or public reviews that can be counted on the site.
4. A declared AI or local search practice. Work on visibility in AI assistants, or on search in Helsinki and Finland, stated on the site.
What we deliberately did not do: we did not reuse rankings, traffic gains or client counts that cannot be checked from outside. When a case study or a review score appears below, it is quoted as the agency's own claim, with its date and, when the site gives one, the client's name.

Helsinki SEO is an SEO agency with an address at Mannerheimintie 1 in Helsinki, which says it has existed since 2014. Its homepage offers a free 24-hour SEO audit: it shows where the site ranks in Helsinki against three competitors, along with three quick fixes. Its services cover technical optimisation, content and local SEO. It displays a 4.9/5 rating from 64 Google reviews and says it has more than 90 clients in Helsinki. One case, not named, reports +174% quote requests in six months.
Best for: Helsinki businesses that want local SEO on a monthly contract with no commitment, after a free audit. The price is not published, so ask for it during the audit, and ask for the case to be named before you rely on it.

iSEO is a Finnish SEO agency with an office on Siltasaarenkatu in Helsinki, active since 2017 according to its own site. Its homepage shows SEO packages from 699€ per month and describes a clear monthly price with no hidden costs. Its services include an SEO audit, keyword research, link building from Finnish domains, technical and content SEO, and AI optimisation. It shows a 4.9/5 rating from 7 reviews.
Best for: Finnish small and mid-sized businesses that want a fixed monthly SEO fee and work built for the Finnish market. Seven reviews is a small sample, so ask for an example of the monthly report before you sign.

Intentio is a growth agency with an office on Siltasaarenkatu in Helsinki. Its homepage lists five areas: Sales Performance, Organic and AI Discoverability, Prospecting Performance, Performance Branding and Data and Insights. Its services section also covers paid search and paid social. It names Terveystalo as a client, in a case study its homepage titles "33% Share of Voice: How Terveystalo dominates AI search". It says it measures its work on incremental sales and profitability rather than on the conversions that ad platforms report.
Best for: companies that want organic search and AI visibility run together with paid media and judged on sales. Its paid media focus makes it a heavier choice for a business that only needs an SEO fix. Prices are not published.

Kasvuly is a B2B marketing agency with an address on Fallpakantie in Helsinki. Its homepage lists GTM marketing, SEO, GEO and AI search, performance marketing and landing pages, and says it works for professional services firms, tech-led products and SaaS companies with long sales cycles. It describes its process as human-led and AI-supported. The homepage text we read names no client and gives no result.
Best for: B2B companies with a long sales cycle that want SEO and GEO tied to a go-to-market plan. SEO sits next to strategy and ads on its homepage, so ask how much of the engagement would be search work. Prices are not published.

DigiSilta is a Helsinki agency that builds WordPress and Elementor websites designed for search, and it works on SEO for small businesses. Its homepage publishes a fixed price of 2000€ for six pages, delivered in four to six weeks, and maintenance at 60€ per month. It says it maintains more than 300 sites, and it shows client sites such as Meriturva, a state educational institution in Lohja, and Retronomi, an online shop in Helsinki.
Best for: small businesses that need a website first, with search built in, at a known price. Ask what is included after launch, since the published price covers the website itself.

ÁJAR Creative Digital is a content and search agency for small and mid-sized businesses, with an office at Konepajankuja 1 in Helsinki and a second one in Rovaniemi. Its first service on the homepage is monthly SEO, followed by content marketing, websites and brand building. It describes a 360-degree brand approach, says it makes decisions from data and analytics, and offers optimisation for AI assistants.
Best for: SMEs that want monthly SEO bundled with content and a site. The homepage text we read shows no price and names no client, so ask for both during the first call.

Karhu Helsinki is a Helsinki digital agency that designs, builds and maintains websites and digital services, and says its work rests on data and research. Its client stories name Vesivek, whose new site personalises content to steer visitors toward contact and sales, Adato Energia, for which it rebuilt a district heating price tool into a service that is easy to run, and Wihuri, whose redesigned group site it says performs in the AI era. It also lists SEO and optimisation for AI assistants among its services.
Best for: organisations that want a website or service rebuilt on user research, with search and AI optimisation as part of the job rather than the whole job. Prices are not published.

Blink Helsinki is an inbound marketing agency on Lönnrotinkatu in Helsinki that calls itself an experienced HubSpot partner. It offers growth strategies, creative concepts, technology and content, including SEO and AI optimisation. Among its client stories, it says that SEO-optimised content moved ICEYE from 80th to 4th place on Google for a very competitive search term in half a year. Another case reports +224% sales for Sokos Hotels S-Card after a redesign of its sales process.
Best for: companies that already run HubSpot, or that want SEO joined to a CRM and to marketing automation. The case figures are the agency's own and cannot be checked from outside, so ask for the reporting that would prove them.

Hion Digital is a digital agency with an address on Siltasaarenkatu in Helsinki. It builds websites, e-commerce and digital services, and lists SEO and optimisation for AI assistants alongside them. It argues that a modern digital service must serve both customers and AI models and agents. Its named clients include Veho, the Finnish National Opera and Ballet, and Tekniikan Maailma, where it says the redesigned magazine site lifted visitor numbers by 179%.
Best for: companies that want a site and an online shop built for shoppers and for AI assistants alike, with named cases to check. The emphasis on AI agents is the agency's own framing, so ask what it changes for a brief that is only about search. Prices are not published.

Digiteam is a digital agency for small businesses with an address on Mannerheimintie in Helsinki. Search marketing is the first service in its list, followed by social media, content, media buying and lead tools, and it has a GEO optimisation line alongside AI tools for content and marketing. It cites more than 50 years of digital marketing experience and quotes a client, Kattokeskus, saying that the value of the leads and sales its digital marketing generates is calculated in millions of euros a year.
Best for: growth-minded small businesses that want search, social and content handled by one team, with a GEO line included in the offer. The Kattokeskus quote is the client's own words and is not a verified figure.
The criteria below were chosen before checking who meets them, and each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own site as of 6 November 2026. When an agency does not publish a piece of information, the cell says so rather than guessing.

Read the "not published" cells as a lack of public information, not a lack of competence. Several of these agencies almost certainly serve more clients than their homepage shows, and the honest way to find out is to ask them directly.
Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any case study, and each one matches one of the fears above.
1. What exactly does the monthly fee cover, and what is excluded? Ask for a list of deliverables per month, with links and content counted separately, and for the minimum duration. A clear answer is a sign of a clear offer.
2. Where do the links and the content come from? Ask which domains the agency uses for links, who writes the articles, and whether you approve them before they are published. Links bought from unrelated sites put your rankings at risk.
3. Which result will be measured, and against what starting point? Agree before the start on one or two indicators you already track, such as calls, quote requests, sales or branded searches, and record their level on day one. Without a baseline, no report can tell you whether the work paid off.
Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.
It is built only on public information. We read what each agency publishes and checked that the sites were online on 6 November 2026. We did not audit any site, check any ranking, interview any client or verify a single figure. An agency that communicates little and works very well will be underrated here.
It cannot know your context. A shop in Helsinki's city centre, a B2B software company and a local tradesman need different agencies. The Best for lines above matter more than the order of the list.
It ages. Search engines change their rules, AI assistants change how they choose their sources, and agencies in this market appear, pivot and disappear. This page is reviewed every 90 days, and the reread date is stated in the method.
This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company. An agency beats software on everything that requires understanding a local business, choosing what to fix first, and writing content a Helsinki reader will trust. Knowing which neighbourhood page matters, when a competitor's move deserves an answer, and how to explain a result to a manager: none of that is automatable today, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something.
What no agency solves on its own is the measurement that tells you whether your company is being quoted at all. AI assistants answer from a mix of pages, guides and comparisons, so a site that ranks well but that AI assistants never cite remains a fragile asset.
That is what Sorank works on. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.
If you want a single recommendation: Helsinki SEO if you want a monthly SEO contract and a free audit first, iSEO if you want a published monthly price, Intentio if your SEO has to sit inside a sales-driven plan that includes paid media, and DigiSilta if you need a website built for search at a known price.
And ask how the agency will prove its results before you ask what it promises. The SEO work that lasts is made of clear deliverables, links you can explain and a measure your team already tracks. This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Ask for a list of deliverables per month, with links and content counted separately, and for the minimum duration. A clear answer is a sign of a clear offer.
Ask which domains the agency uses for links, who writes the articles, and whether you approve them before they are published. Links bought from unrelated sites put your rankings at risk.
Agree before the start on one or two indicators you already track, such as calls, quote requests, sales or branded searches, and record their level on day one. Without a baseline, no report can tell you whether the work paid off.
