The 10 best web design agencies in Kuala Lumpur, ranked on a stated Kuala Lumpur address and the web services each agency publishes on its own site. Public sources only.

In short
DEZGN STUDIO tops our ranking of the best web design agencies in Kuala Lumpur because it names recent projects and publishes its path from design to launch. Aleph Media and Invibe Digital suit companies that want a site built to convert visitors, Inspiren Network and Ideaone build WordPress sites and offer website maintenance, Ecompile covers corporate sites, SaaS platforms and e-commerce, and ETCTech Global keeps domain and hosting in the same offer. Cloudix Digital and BitQuest combine web work with search marketing, and Getright Digital brings UI/UX design workshops to web and mobile projects. The deciding criterion is not a rating or an award. It is whether the agency shows a Kuala Lumpur address and offers website building on its own site. Named projects and after-launch support are listed in the table only where the agency's own site shows them.

Choosing among the web design agencies in Kuala Lumpur means choosing among a crowded field. The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) reports that 74.4 per cent of establishments in Malaysia had a web presence in 2024, up from 72.7 per cent in 2023, in its Usage of ICT and E-commerce by Establishment 2025 release, published on 30 June 2026. Many of those businesses will sooner or later need a website they can change themselves, built by a partner who understands how buyers in the city search and compare.
A Kuala Lumpur website has to work in a city where companies often publish in Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese, and where services dominate the local economy. An agency that knows this context can plan the languages, the local search habits and the way a visitor compares a company with its neighbours. An agency based elsewhere may not. That is why this ranking applies one filter first: only agencies whose own site shows an address, an office or a team in Kuala Lumpur can appear.
The market is large and service-heavy. According to DOSM's Economic Census 2023 state and district release, with a latest release dated 1 December 2025, W.P. Kuala Lumpur had 137882 establishments in the 2022 reference year, and the Services sector contributed 93.6 per cent of the city's total value added.
Four fears come up again and again, and each one can be checked before signing.
1. Paying for a site they cannot change. A website built on closed tools, or on files the agency never hands over, leaves the company dependent on its builder for every text change. Ask who holds the source files, the domain and the hosting account before the first invoice.
2. A site that only works in one language. A Kuala Lumpur business may need Bahasa Malaysia, English and sometimes Chinese pages. A site translated late, or machine-translated and never read by a native speaker at the company, can cost more in credibility than it saved in budget.
3. Depending on one person who disappears. Small studios are often excellent, but a project run by a single person has no backup when that person is ill, busy or gone. Ask who else knows the project and where the files are stored.
4. A quote that leaves out what comes after launch. Domain renewals, hosting, security updates, content changes and taxes are often missing from the first figure. A quote should state its currency (ringgit, RM) and whether it includes SST (Sales and Service Tax), or it cannot be compared with another one.
Four criteria, fixed before we checked who meets them, and applied only to what each agency publishes on its own site.
1. Website building at the core of the offer. Creating sites is a real service on the homepage, not a line among hosting, print and social media.
2. Named clients or projects. Clients, case studies or projects that a buyer can check by visiting the website.
3. A published method for after launch. Steps, principles, maintenance, hosting, training or support after the site goes live, published on the site.
4. A stated Kuala Lumpur presence. This filter applies to every candidate. The site must show a Kuala Lumpur address, office or team. Agencies with an address only in another city, or a foreign base and no office in Kuala Lumpur, do not appear, even when they serve local clients.
The text we reviewed was checked in November 2026, and this page is scheduled for review every 90 days, because local agencies change names, teams and offers often. What we deliberately did not do: we did not reuse the Google ratings, award badges, project counts or "best agency in Kuala Lumpur" claims that several homepages display. None of them can be verified from the outside, and each one is only the agency's own claim.

DEZGN STUDIO is a design and development studio at One Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. Its homepage lists product design, web apps, mobile apps and websites, with featured work for Pod Savings, Inspect Accounting and Cydeas. It says it works end to end, from design to launch, and describes a design-first approach that checks whether a product is feasible early in the project.
Best for: businesses that want one studio to design and build a custom website or web app and explain the path to launch. The text we reviewed publishes no prices. Its FAQ asks about minimum rates, but no figure appears, so ask for a written quote.

Aleph Media is a web design company with an office on Jalan Gombak in Kuala Lumpur, according to its site. The text says the company was founded in Auckland, New Zealand, and that its team of digital experience architects covers the Asia-Pacific region. It lists web design, e-commerce, SEO and SEM, names clients such as Zolano, Insights Law and Samala Austin, and says it builds websites optimised for conversions.
Best for: companies that want a conversion-focused website with e-commerce or SEO under the same contract. Because the company was founded in New Zealand, ask which team in Kuala Lumpur will run your project day to day.

Inspiren Network is a web design and digital marketing agency with an address in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, and a presence in Penang. In its own words, its core expertise is WordPress websites, including corporate sites, responsive WordPress solutions and diligent website maintenance. Its homepage has sections for projects and happy clients, and it offers SEO and SEM alongside the build.
Best for: companies that want a WordPress site on a long-term maintenance arrangement. The text we reviewed shows no maintenance prices, so ask what the plan includes and who responds when the site has a fault.

Ecompile is a web design and development company whose site gives its address as Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Kuala Lumpur. It lists corporate websites, SaaS platforms, e-commerce, UI/UX and education projects, and its services include maintenance, hosting and support. The text we reviewed describes project types rather than naming individual clients.
Best for: companies that want a corporate site, a SaaS platform or an online shop with support after launch. Because the homepage names no clients, ask for case studies in your sector before you sign.

ETCTech Global is a web development company based in Bandar Sri Damansara, Kuala Lumpur. Its homepage lists three things that set it apart: experience, listening and advising, and customising. Its services include web design, mobile applications, e-commerce, backend development, and domain and hosting. It says it has 20+ in-house developers, a figure the company gives about itself.
Best for: businesses that want a custom build with domain and hosting handled by the same company. The text we reviewed names no sample clients, so ask for references before you sign.

Ideaone is a web design and development company with an address in Bandar Sri Permaisuri, Kuala Lumpur. Its services include custom web design, CMS and WordPress websites, e-commerce, website maintenance and SEO packages. Its homepage links to a portfolio of web design work and states a track record since 2008.
Best for: businesses that want a WordPress or e-commerce site, ongoing website maintenance and a portfolio to check. The statistics on the homepage are the company's own figures and are not verified here, so ask for two live references you can visit.

Invibe Digital is a web design agency with an office at The Estate, Bangsar South, Kuala Lumpur. Its homepage presents bespoke, brand-driven web design, SEO and digital marketing, mobile experience and conversion-centric e-commerce, and links to a portfolio. The site describes the agency as award-winning, a claim we did not verify.
Best for: companies that want a visually led website with e-commerce and SEO from one agency. Judge the portfolio rather than the awards, and ask which projects the team built directly.

Cloudix Digital is a digital agency with an address on Jalan Radin Bagus in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur. Its services include web design and development, social media marketing, Google Ads and SEO, and corporate branding. It says it builds custom web design solutions meant to generate leads, and its homepage has a section listing brands that have worked with the agency.
Best for: businesses that want a website and search marketing from one team. The homepage calls the agency a number one digital marketing agency, a claim we did not verify, so check the client brands yourself and ask for a website you can visit.

BitQuest is a digital marketing agency with an address in Innovation House, Taman Teknologi MRANTI, Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. Its service list includes website design and development, branding and graphic design, SEO, social media marketing and search engine marketing. Its homepage describes the agency as operating in Malaysia, India and Australia.
Best for: companies that want website work bundled with organic and paid marketing. Web design is one service among several here, so ask how many of the projects are website builds rather than campaigns.

Getright Digital has an office at Menara IGB, Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur, and a second office at The Hub SS2, Petaling Jaya, according to its site. It offers branding and UI/UX design workshops, mobile app and web development, and digital marketing for clients who need to market their digital products. Its homepage says it serves government, large corporations, small and medium enterprises and start-ups, and it has a section on official and media coverage.
Best for: organisations that want a web or app project preceded by a UI/UX workshop, including public-facing projects. The text lists many services but no prices, so ask for a written scope that names the team who runs the workshop and the build.
The four criteria were chosen before we checked who meets them, and each cell reflects what the agency publishes on its own site. "Not published" means the text we reviewed does not show that information, not that the agency lacks it. Ask the agencies directly before drawing conclusions from a gap.

Three questions separate a shortlist faster than any portfolio, and each one matches one of the fears above.
1. Who holds the source files, the domain and the hosting account? The answer should be in writing and should let you leave the agency without losing the site. If the files stay on the agency's servers, ask what happens to them if the contract ends.
2. Which languages are included, and who checks each version? If the site needs Bahasa Malaysia, English or Chinese, the quote should name each language, with the person who writes and approves each text. A translation that nobody at your company reads can do lasting damage.
3. Which result will be measured, and against what starting point? Agree before the start on one or two indicators you already track, such as enquiries, sales or appointments, and record their level on day one. Without a baseline, no report can show whether the new site worked.
Three limits, stated clearly, because a ranking that claims to settle everything is not usable.
It is built only on public information. We read what each agency publishes on its homepage and checked the Kuala Lumpur filter against the address shown on each site. We did not visit any client, test any site's speed or quality, or verify a single project. An agency that communicates little and works very well will be underrated here.
It cannot know your context. A law firm in Bangsar, a clinic in Mont Kiara and a shop in Cheras do not need the same partner. The "Best for" lines matter more than the order of the list.
It ages. Agencies in a city of this size merge, change their names and move offices, and the Kuala Lumpur filter depends on what each site says today. This page is reviewed every 90 days, and the review date is stated in the method.
This is the honest part, on a page published by a software company, and it applies to the agencies compared in the table above. An agency beats software on everything that requires understanding a client's market, making choices about tone and structure, and taking responsibility for a result it does not fully control. Knowing which page a visitor needs first, deciding what to cut from a brief, and writing a text that sounds like the company rather than a template: none of that is automatable today, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling you something.
What no agency project solves on its own is what happens after launch. AI assistants and search engines read more than the homepage: they draw on guides, comparison pages and articles, and a site that is well designed but never updated remains a weak source for them.
That is what Sorank works on. It is software, not an agency: keyword research, article writing, internal linking, publishing to your site and tracking how often you appear in the answers AI assistants give. That last part is not decoration. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. If you would rather talk it through first, book a call.
If you want a single recommendation: DEZGN STUDIO if you want a custom site or web app built by a studio that explains each step to launch, Aleph Media if the goal is a site that converts and the team can also run e-commerce and SEO, Inspiren Network if you want a WordPress site on a maintenance arrangement, and Getright Digital if your project is public-facing or needs a UI/UX workshop first. Whichever you choose, ask who holds the files before asking what the site will look like.
If you are still weighing an agency against doing the work in house, the checks above will tell you quickly which Kuala Lumpur agency deserves a second call. You can also read the Sorank agency guide before you start the comparison.
Kuala Lumpur has more credible names than a top 10 can hold. These agencies also show a Kuala Lumpur address on their own sites, and each line below comes from what they publish about themselves.
| Agency | Site | What they publish about themselves |
|---|---|---|
| Advisory Apps | advisoryapps.com | Custom software, mobile apps and AI and data work for Malaysian enterprises from Kuala Lumpur, with Perodua, JPJ and IKEA among the clients it names as trusted |
| AALA IT Solutions | aalasolutions.com | Software and web development from an office in Bangsar South, with named client work including Testable.io, Where's My Concrete and BookCorner |
| BrandForz | brandforz.com | Brand and integrated AI digital marketing agency from Menara UOA Bangsar, built around a PR-to-performance model |
| Global Line Network | globalline.my | Custom mobile apps, web portals and integrated systems from KL Eco City, citing over 100 projects in its own words |
| Digital Workie | digitalworkie.com | Digital marketing agency in Kuala Lumpur whose homepage focuses on traffic, SEO and social media marketing |
| Duplex Ventures | duplex-ventures.com | Digital agency for SMEs and startups from KL Gateway, offering SEO, social media marketing, web design and development and mobile apps |
| Brand360 | brand360.com.my | Boutique brand agency in Bandar Sri Damansara offering brand strategy, design and marketing, with a "Some Of Our Works" section |
| Brand Soul International | brandsoul.com.my | Brand strategy and marketing consultancy based in Kuala Lumpur, offering brand identity, animation, PR and inbound marketing |
| Emperikal | emperikal.com | Digital marketing and e-commerce agency at TRX, offering SEO, Google Ads, paid social and Shopify store optimisation |
| INKA Creative Agency | inka.my | Creative agency on Jalan Hang Tuah with branding, website and videography services, and a Malaysia headquarters with regional offices listed for Singapore, Jakarta, Surabaya and Bangkok |
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
The answer should be in writing and should let you leave the agency without losing the site.
The quote should name each language, and someone at your company should approve each text.
Agree on one or two indicators you already track and record their level on day one.
