The 10 best GEO content creators in France to follow: podcast, newsletters, daily news and LinkedIn, with rhythm, audience and level for each.

In short
Julien Gourdon is the best overall choice among the best GEO content creators in France: his podcast « Les petites histoires du SEO et du GEO » comes out about once a month and takes a critical, concrete look at how to get cited by AI assistants. Olivier Andrieu and his media Abondance are the alternative for anyone who wants daily news: several news items a day, more than half of them on GEO, AI Overviews and AI Mode in mid-October 2026, and a newsletter every Thursday. Thibaut Huertas suits readers who want one practical newsletter a month, and Josselin Leydier those who want independent tests run on real sites. The right choice depends on your level and on the format you actually have time for: audio, a daily feed, a monthly newsletter or LinkedIn posts.

Following the best GEO content creators in France has become the fastest way to understand how ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Google's AI Overviews choose the brands and pages they cite. Creators are now a normal way to get informed: around a quarter (27%) of respondents across 48 markets get some news from news-focused individual creators or influencers, according to the Reuters Institute Digital News Report 2026, published on 16 June 2026. This ranking brings together ten French-speaking creators who publish on GEO, the work of making a brand visible in AI assistants, and says for each where they publish, how often and for which level.
The shift is measurable. In the same Reuters Institute report, 10% of people use AI chatbots for news, up from 7% a year earlier, and 16% of under-35s do so. In the United States, about half of adults now use AI chatbots, up from a third in 2024, according to Pew Research Center's « Americans and AI » report published on 17 June 2026. And on 27 February 2026, TechCrunch reported that ChatGPT had reached 900 million weekly active users, according to OpenAI.
France follows the creator trend too: 29% of French respondents say they get some news from creators, but only 3% say creators meet all of their news needs, according to the Reuters Institute's France country page for 2026. In other words, creators are a complement, not a single source. That is exactly how to use the ten profiles below.
Four reasons, from what I see every week.
Most of these creators also sell something: consulting, training, an agency or a media subscription. I say so in each profile without making it the subject. If you are looking to hire someone rather than to learn, our ranking of the best GEO consultants in France covers that case.
Four criteria, fixed before looking at who would come out on top, applied only to what each creator publishes on their public pages. Every account on this list was reviewed on 22 October 2026.
1. Regularity. A creator who publishes on a rhythm you can check (a dated archive, a weekly newsletter, a monthly podcast) comes before one whose recent activity cannot be verified.
2. Depth and accuracy. Tests with figures, studies on real sites and dated analyses count for more than general opinions on « the end of SEO ».
3. Teaching. Can a reader apply what they read or hear the same week? Concrete processes and case studies score higher than commentary alone.
4. Independence. A creator who also sells a service is not a problem, as long as the content stands on its own and is not a disguised sales page.
What I deliberately did not do: I did not estimate any audience. When a creator does not publish a figure, the table says « Not published ». I left out inactive accounts and publishers of competing SEO or GEO software. This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion, as Thibault Besson-Magdelain, founder of Sorank, someone who follows these creators every week, not a paid placement.
Julien Gourdon is an SEO and GEO consultant who hosts the podcast « Les petites histoires du SEO et du GEO », also available on Spotify and relayed on LinkedIn. The podcast came out about once a month in 2026, with recent episodes on GEO such as « 6 tactiques on-page pour être cité par l'IA » (six on-page tactics to get cited by AI, 30 August 2026) and « L'illusion du GEO » (the GEO illusion, May 2026). What sets him apart is his critical, concrete view of optimising for large language models, a useful counterweight to the hype. His podcast page shows an audience of 5000, and he also publishes on X (1500 followers) and YouTube (161 subscribers). He sells his services as an SEO and GEO consultant.
Best for: entrepreneurs and marketers who want to understand GEO on their commute, with a sceptical eye. The audio format suits regular listening more than looking up a precise technique.
Olivier Andrieu founded Abondance, a French media outlet that runs a daily watch on SEO and GEO, with a weekly newsletter, videos and a podcast. Abondance publishes several news items a day, and in mid-October 2026 more than half of them dealt with GEO, AI Overviews and AI Mode. The newsletter goes out every Thursday and the site announces about 20000 subscribers. It is the most regular French-language source on search through AI. Abondance is a media outlet with several authors: Olivier Andrieu embodies it, but not every article is signed by him.
Best for: anyone, from beginner to expert, who wants to keep up with every change without searching for it. The volume is high: the Thursday newsletter is the easiest way in if you do not have time to read every day.

Thibaut Huertas is an SEO and GEO consultant who writes the Substack newsletter « 1-2-3 Marketing ». It comes out about once a month (the latest issue is dated 13 October 2026, according to its archive) and in 2026 it deals almost only with GEO and citations in AI assistants, with issues such as « Comment j'ai x6 les mentions IA de cette marque en 2 mois » (how I multiplied this brand's AI mentions by six in two months), « Comment apparaître dans AI Overviews ? » and « Les 6 bonnes pratiques GEO ». He shares processes and client cases that are easy to apply. He sells his services as a consultant on his own site.
Best for: marketers and business owners who want one practical read a month rather than a daily feed. Its audience is not published, and one issue a month will not cover breaking news.

Josselin Leydier has been an independent SEO consultant since 2006 and publishes on LLM-GEO.fr studies, tests and guides on GEO run on his own network of sites. He publishes several articles a month, on subjects such as how long a page stays cited by AI assistants, false results returned to tracking tools, or « Où s'arrête le GEO ? » (where does GEO stop?, October 2026), with a newsletter that comes out at most twice a month. His figures, measured on real sites, are rare and independent material. The site also offers small free tools; he sells his consulting services on josselinleydier.com.
Best for: SEO practitioners at intermediate or advanced level who want evidence before changing their methods. Readers new to GEO may find the tests dense without a basic grounding first.

Alexis Rylko is a technical SEO consultant and trainer who publishes on LinkedIn (4200 followers) technical breakdowns of how AI assistants work and of GEO, including tests on query fan-out. He also writes an SEO newsletter that shows more than 1000 subscribers. His technical, tool-based approach appeals to SEO practitioners who want to understand how large language models choose their sources. His LinkedIn rhythm could not be checked, as LinkedIn is not readable without logging in.
Best for: technical SEO profiles and advanced readers. Beginners will get more out of a general newsletter first.

Philippe Yonnet is a historic figure of French SEO with more than twenty years of experience, and director of the agency Neper. He regularly comments on LinkedIn (about 10000 followers) and on X (8000 followers) on changes to AI Overviews, AI Mode and AI crawlers. His experience gives weight to his analyses of GEO. His publishing rhythm could not be checked, as LinkedIn is not readable without logging in.
Best for: experienced SEO practitioners who want a seasoned, sometimes contrarian view of the latest announcements. The format is short commentary, not step-by-step tutorials.

Pierre Sauvé is a technical SEO consultant (crawl, logs) who publishes studies with figures on GEO. One of them, on how present brands are compared with how often AI assistants cite them, was picked up by Abondance on 13 October 2026. He also writes for the French magazine Réacteur. His data work gives concrete benchmarks on what gets a brand cited. His LinkedIn rhythm could not be checked, and his own site was being rebuilt at the time of review.
Best for: readers who prefer data to opinions, and brands that want to understand why a competitor is cited more than they are. His publishing rhythm is not published.
Guillaume Serre is an SEO and GEO consultant (Les Nicheurs) who publishes on LinkedIn (about 10000 followers) and in the newsletter Les Nicheurs (more than 1000 subscribers). Its 2026 issues include « Le Nom de Domaine influence les réponses IA ? » (does the domain name influence AI answers?) and « Comment fonctionne Chat GPT ? » (how does ChatGPT work?). His practical angle is aimed at website publishers and entrepreneurs, with a mix of SEO, affiliate sites and AI. The newsletter is irregular: the latest issue is dated 28 April 2026.
Best for: niche site publishers and entrepreneurs at beginner or intermediate level. GEO is one subject among several, so it is not the place for a weekly GEO watch.

Nicolas Mercadieu is a marketing entrepreneur (Shaka, GAM) who publishes on LinkedIn (6560 followers) and YouTube (326 subscribers) on GEO and on how to get a brand recommended by ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity. His angle is the brand's, rather than the SEO technician's. His company GAM offers a free AI audit. His recent activity could not be checked, as LinkedIn and YouTube were not readable for this review.
Best for: founders and marketing managers who want to understand GEO from a brand point of view. Readers looking for technical depth will find more with the profiles above.

Karine Abbou is a content strategist based in Miami who publishes on AI search for business leaders. Her newsletter AI Search Decoded came out about once a month in 2026 (latest issue on 2 August 2026), and she runs an AI Search masterclass in French and in English. She publishes on LinkedIn (8000 followers) and YouTube (871 subscribers), and is a guest on French-language podcasts about GEO. Her newsletter is written in English: her French content comes mainly through LinkedIn, the masterclass and podcasts.
Best for: executives and content managers who want a strategic view of AI search and are comfortable reading in English. Readers looking for French-only content will find more with the profiles above.

Three limits, stated clearly.
It is based on public pages. LinkedIn and some YouTube channels could not be read without logging in, so the rhythm of several creators could not be checked. A creator who publishes a lot behind a login may be underrated here.
It is an opinion. The criteria were fixed in advance, but the order reflects my own reading of these creators. Someone with a different level or format preference would put them in a different order: the Best for lines matter more than the rank.
It ages fast. GEO is a young field, newsletters stop and new voices appear. This ranking reflects the situation on 22 October 2026.
A creator explains trends, tests tactics and helps you think. But no creator can tell you whether ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity cite your brand today, for your own questions, against your own competitors. That takes measurement, every week, on your site.
That is what Sorank automates. Sorank is software, not an agency: after an audit of your site, the platform finds your keywords, writes and publishes articles optimised for Google and for AI assistants, and shows you when an AI assistant cites your brand. Pricing starts at 99€ per month, with 3 days offered and a card required at sign up. To see it on your own site, book a call. Many readers combine the two: creators to learn, software to measure.
The best GEO creator is the one whose format you will actually follow. To start and keep a critical eye, Julien Gourdon's podcast. For daily news, Olivier Andrieu and Abondance. For one practical read a month, Thibaut Huertas. For evidence measured on real sites, Josselin Leydier and Pierre Sauvé. For a technical deep dive, Alexis Rylko. And to receive a selection of GEO news in your inbox, subscribe to our GEO newsletter.
Other creators spotted during this review, outside the ranking, presented solely on the basis of what they publish on their public pages.
| Creator | Main account | What they publish |
|---|---|---|
| Alan CladX | SEO consultant known for black hat, gives talks in 2026 on manipulating AI answers, often in English | |

| Florian Zorgnotti | Blog | SEO consultant (Redback Optimisation), blog guides and comparisons of GEO tools |

| Indiana Aflalo | AI consultant in Nice (IndHack), publishes on LinkedIn and in Réacteur on visibility in AI answers | |

| Emmanuel Bismuth | SEO and GEO consultant publishing on LinkedIn for freelancers and entrepreneurs | |
| Michelle Blanc | Blog | Quebec digital strategy consultant, covers GEO within broader posts on generative AI |
This ranking reflects my own experience and opinion as an SEO expert with more than 7 years in the field. It is based on verified facts, but the order itself is my personal view.
Julien Gourdon is the best overall choice: his podcast « Les petites histoires du SEO et du GEO » comes out about once a month and takes a critical, concrete look at getting cited by AI assistants. For daily news, Olivier Andrieu's media Abondance publishes several items a day and a newsletter every Thursday.
Abondance's Thursday newsletter and Thibaut Huertas' monthly newsletter « 1-2-3 Marketing » are the easiest ways in: regular, practical and readable without a technical background. Josselin Leydier, Alexis Rylko and Philippe Yonnet suit more advanced readers.
No. Creators explain trends and test tactics, but they cannot tell you whether ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity cite your own brand today. That takes regular measurement on your site, which is what software such as Sorank does.
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU
