HR tech SEO is how an HR software vendor gets found by the head of people who searches "HRIS for 200 employees", the IT manager who checks "ATS SOC 2 and SSO", or the founder who asks ChatGPT for a payroll tool that covers Germany and Spain. One purchase, three readers, three sets of questions. Sorank finds those questions for each product line and country you sell in, publishes the answers on your website with a link to your demo or trial, and tracks which tools the AI assistants name.
Your product, your sales team and your legal review stay yours: Sorank works on the website.

"Best ATS for a 50-person company", "HRIS or HCM: what is the difference", "all-in-one HR platform or separate payroll": a people team compiles these answers into a spreadsheet before any vendor call. Sorank writes each comparison from the current top Google results, with a direct answer under the title and a table sorted by need, so your product appears with the use cases it serves best.
See how in the blog article generator.
HR asks "how to automate employee onboarding". IT asks "does this HRIS support SCIM provisioning". Finance asks "cost per employee of a payroll tool". In the Site Brief, you record your products, your audiences and their buying roles once, and Sorank uses that text to guide future articles, so each reader finds a page in their own vocabulary.
Set it up in brand voice.

Ask "best HR software for a startup in France" or "which ATS has a bias audit", and the assistant searches the web, then builds its own shortlist. Sorank asks your tracked questions every month, then shows each answer, the searches the model ran and the websites it used, so you can see where your product is missing and why.
Follow it in AI mention tracking.
WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Shopify or a custom front end through a webhook. Sorank reads your Search Console data, which shows the queries you already receive, including the login searches from your users' employees that you will want to set aside.
Recruiting, core HR, payroll, time tracking or performance; the company sizes you sell to; the countries you cover; your integrations and certifications. Sorank proposes keywords for each combination, starting with the modules that bring you the most demos.
Articles go live on your schedule, or wait as drafts when a topic touches employment law, candidate data or an AI feature. Your product marketer or counsel approves them, and every article ends with your demo or trial link.
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU

HR tech SEO is the work that makes an HR software vendor visible when a company looks for an applicant tracking system (ATS), a payroll tool, an HRIS (the central employee record) or a performance platform, on Google and in AI assistants. It differs from general SaaS SEO in three ways: several departments approve the purchase, employment law shapes what buyers ask, and a large share of your impressions comes from people who will never buy.
Interest in tools keeps moving as well. In the 2025 Talent Trends survey of SHRM, the American HR association, AI adoption in HR tasks rose to 43%, from 26% a year earlier, among 2040 HR professionals. Each new use raises questions a vendor can answer.
Usually four people, each with their own words:
At a small firm, the founder or office manager plays all four roles and starts with "HR software for small business". Our guide to B2B SEO covers purchases with several approvers, and buying-intent keywords helps you rank these searches by value.
Because buyers must answer for the tools they choose, and they turn to the vendor first. In New York City, Local Law 144, enforced since July 5, 2023, requires an automated employment decision tool to have had a bias audit within the year before use, a public summary of the results and a notice to candidates 10 business days before use. In the European Union, the AI Act lists AI tools for employment as high-risk, with CV-sorting software as its example, and the rules for this area now apply from 2 December 2027, after a date change that entered into force in July 2026.
A date that moved is exactly what a compliance lead searches for. Publish a dated explainer with what the rule requires and how your product handles it, have counsel check it, and update it when the text changes. Our guide to content refresh explains the routine.
Sort your Search Console queries into groups before you judge anything. HR platforms attract three audiences that will not buy: employees searching "your product login" or "how to request time off in your product", job seekers searching "HR manager salary", and students searching "what is human capital management". Reports that mix them can look healthy while demo requests stay flat.
Practitioner content still has its place. "Performance review template" or "PTO accrual calculation" reaches the people who will later use the tool, as long as the page leads to the module that does the job. Our article on branded keywords helps you set the login searches aside.
On pages that state plain facts about the product, and on the platforms HR people already use. We have no study of HR software alone. In the closest sector we measured, our consulting AI citation study (6375 answers, May to August 2026, mostly in French), Indeed is cited in 0.57% of answers, 2.4 times its general rate. Treat that as a direction: employment platforms count in this kind of answer.
Write down what an assistant needs to recommend you: company sizes served, countries covered for payroll, integrations, certifications, a price range if you share one. Then keep your profiles on review sites consistent with those pages; our guide to review sites and AI recommendations explains why, and GEO for SaaS goes further.

In each article, give the answer first, say which company size or country it fits and which it does not, and show the product where it helps. Avoid legal advice: explain the rule, link to the official text and tell the reader to check with their counsel.
Sorank handles keyword research by module, size and country, the writing and publishing of articles with internal links, backlinks from other Sorank client sites, monthly tracking of AI answers, and your Search Console data next to the visits sent by assistants.
You keep the product, demos and sales calls, security documents, audits and certifications, review site profiles, your LinkedIn presence and the final word on every legal statement. Sorank does not manage an audit or say that a tool complies. Neighbors in this market search differently: see our pages for recruiters, who sell placements rather than software, and software development companies, who sell custom projects.
Sorank costs $49 a month per website on the yearly Essential plan, or $99 without commitment, for 20 articles and 10 tracked AI prompts. A vendor with several modules or countries usually fits Pro: 60 articles a month for $129 billed yearly, with Grok added to the tracking. Business reaches 120 articles for $249 billed yearly. All plans start with 3 free days; details and the 90-day results-or-refund guarantee are on the pricing page.
Expect several months. Articles collect impressions first, then clicks, and HR software decisions often wait for a budget cycle or a contract renewal. After three months, judge each module on non-branded impressions and clicks, then on the demos and trials it brings.
Several months. New articles collect impressions in Search Console before clicks, and buyers often wait for a budget cycle or a contract renewal. Check non-branded queries after three months, then the demos and trials each module brings.
With Sorank, $49 a month per website billed yearly, or $99 without commitment, for 20 articles a month, after 3 free days. Vendors with several modules or countries often choose Pro, at $129 a month billed yearly for 60 articles.
No tool can decide what ChatGPT says. Sorank asks your tracked questions every month, such as "best ATS for a small company", shows the tools and sources cited, and publishes precise pages on your modules, company sizes, countries and integrations for the assistants to draw on.
The modules and company sizes where you already win deals, then the questions IT and finance ask about them, then compliance topics. Set aside login searches from your users' employees, which inflate reports without bringing buyers.
It can draft dated explainers that link to official texts, but it gives no legal opinion and does not certify your product. Keep these topics in draft mode so your counsel approves each article before it goes live.
It publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Wix and Shopify, and to any other site through a webhook, without touching your product. Your profiles on review sites, your LinkedIn page and any Google Business Profile stay with your team.
We don't. Sorank isn't trying to be another Semrush or Ahrefs. Those tools are built for data, Sorank is built to do the work. Instead of more dashboards to check, it turns SEO and GEO insights into actions: articles written and published, backlinks earned, technical fixes and AI visibility tracking. Less complexity, more results.
From $49/month per website on a yearly plan, with a 3-day free trial and a 90-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply). Every plan includes articles, AI visibility tracking and access to natural backlink acquisition; higher plans add more articles, more AI prompts tracked and more backlinks. No setup fees, no paying for seats you don't use.
You shouldn't need a full marketing team or expensive tools to grow. Sorank handles your entire SEO and AI visibility, so you save time and money.
