Aerospace SEO is how a machine shop, a special process house or a composites maker shows up when a buyer or a supplier quality engineer at a prime looks for a qualified source. They search by process, material and approval: "Nadcap heat treating titanium", "AS9100 5-axis machining Inconel", "chemical film or anodize for aluminum", and a growing number ask ChatGPT for a list of suppliers before they send a request for quote. Sorank writes the articles that answer these searches on your site, holds each one for your quality or export control lead, and tracks which suppliers the AI assistants name.
It suits tier 2 and tier 3 suppliers, NewSpace subcontractors and engineering teams who have no time to run a blog.

"Nadcap accredited NDT lab in Texas", "AS9100 certified sheet metal fabrication", "passivation to AMS 2700": a buyer who needs a second source starts with what the drawing requires, not with a company name. Sorank collects these searches from your Search Console data, from the suppliers you compete with and from the AI answers it analyzes, then files them into research topics, one per capability.
Each topic is built by keyword research on your processes and materials.
An aerospace article can go wrong in two ways: a tolerance stated wrongly, or technical data that should never have been public. Switch on expert mode and drafts mode in the scheduler, and each article waits in your CMS until your quality manager or export control officer has checked it. Your house rules go into the default writing instructions once, for example "never name a customer program" or "no drawings, no part numbers".
Both switches sit in the content planner.

Ask Perplexity for "Nadcap accredited chemical processing suppliers in the Midwest", then ask ChatGPT the same thing: the names differ, and so do the sources behind them. Sorank runs your prompts every month in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, plus Grok on the Pro plan, and ranks the domains each model cites with their visitors, keywords and Google position.
Compare the models in the GEO leaderboard.
WordPress, Webflow and Wix connect directly; a site built by your web agency receives articles through a webhook. Sorank reads Search Console to see which capabilities, materials and certifications already earn impressions.
Processes, materials, part families, certifications and accreditation scopes, the markets you ship to, and what must stay off the web. Sorank proposes the questions behind each capability, ranked by volume and difficulty.
Drafts wait for your quality or export control lead, then go live on the days you set, each one linked to its capability page and to your request for quote form. Impressions and AI mentions are followed month after month.

Aerospace SEO is the work that makes an aviation, space or defense supplier appear when engineers, buyers and supplier quality teams research a part, a process or a second source: in Google results and in the answers of AI assistants. For a supplier, it rests on capability pages that state what you make and to which standards, articles that answer technical questions in your field, and proof of approvals that a buyer can check.
The competition is wide. The Aerospace Industries Association reports on its industry impact page that the US aerospace and defense workforce supported more than 2.1 million jobs in 2025, and that supply chain companies account for roughly 1.1 million of them. Thousands of shops offer similar machines and similar certificates; the ones that get the request for quote are the ones a buyer can understand in a few minutes.
Rarely by browsing. A buyer needs a second source, a supplier quality engineer needs a shop approved for a precise process, or a startup needs a partner for its first flight hardware. Each of them starts from the requirement: the material, the operation, the specification, the approval. They check approved supplier lists and accreditation databases, then search the web to understand who can do the work, at what size and with what lead time.
Accreditation alone does not set you apart. According to the Performance Review Institute, Nadcap is an industry-managed program with 24 critical process accreditation programs, more than 4500 accredited suppliers and over 60 subscribing OEMs. When hundreds of shops hold the same scope, your site has to say what the certificate does not: the alloys you run every month, the largest part you can handle, the inspection you do in house and the programs you are allowed to mention.
Capabilities, processes, materials, standards and your quality system, yes; technical data tied to controlled articles, only after the proper approval. Under the US International Traffic in Arms Regulations, the definition of public domain in 22 CFR 120.34 covers information that is published and generally accessible, including information released for unlimited distribution after approval by the cognizant US government department or agency. Other countries have their own export control rules.
In practice, write about how you anodize, inspect or machine, never about the part you made for a named program. Sorank does not give export control advice: set your limits in the writing instructions, keep drafts mode on, and let your empowered official or export compliance lead release each article.
A small set of them, and rarely the social posts suppliers spend most of their time on. In our manufacturing AI citation study (2000 answers in July and August 2026, mostly in French), the three leading sources hold 65% of the citations counted, while LinkedIn appears in only 0.5% of the answers. Our LinkedIn AI citation study reaches the same conclusion across all sectors: posts build reach, but they seldom become the page an assistant quotes.
A precise capability page on your own site can. When an assistant is asked for "AS9100 shops that machine large aluminum structures in the Pacific Northwest", it searches the web, reads a handful of pages and lists the companies they describe clearly. Sorank shows those searches and sources for every prompt you track.
These are long-tail keywords with small volumes, and a single one can be worth a contract. Grouping them by capability builds the topical authority that our guide to B2B SEO describes.
The answer first, then the envelope a buyer needs to qualify you: materials, maximum part size, the tolerances you hold routinely, finishes and treatments, inspection equipment, certifications with their scope, typical quantities and lead times. A technical article adds the method, the standard behind each figure, the limits of the process and the point where your engineers should be consulted.
Name the author and the reviewer, and date every page: buyers and assistants both weigh signs of real expertise, which is what E-E-A-T describes. Articles written by people who run the process are the base of thought leadership content in a technical trade.
Sorank handles the keyword research by capability, the writing and publication of the articles with sources and internal links, backlinks from other sites of Sorank clients, the monthly tracking of AI answers, and your Search Console, Analytics and AI visits in one dashboard.
Your team keeps everything that carries a signature: certifications and audits, export control decisions, registrations on customer portals and supplier databases, capability statements, trade shows and the follow-up of each quote. Neighboring trades search differently, as our pages for aviation services, engineering firms and manufacturers show.
Sorank is priced per website. The Essential plan costs $49 a month on yearly billing, or $99 without commitment, for 20 articles a month and 10 prompts tracked in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. Pro ($129 a month yearly, $249 monthly) brings 60 articles and adds Grok; Business ($249 yearly, $499 monthly) brings 120 articles and 50 prompts. A 3-day free trial and the 90-day results-or-refund guarantee apply to all three, as the pricing page explains.
Longer than in most markets, because qualifying a new supplier takes time. Google gives no fixed delay: a new article first gathers impressions, then clicks, and a buyer who reads it this quarter may only send a request once a program needs a second source. Judge each capability after three months on its Search Console impressions and its AI mentions, then on the quote requests it brings.

Several months before articles bring steady visits, and often longer before they turn into quote requests, since buyers qualify a new source over many months. Judge each capability on its Search Console impressions after three months.
From $49 a month per website on the yearly Essential plan, or $99 month to month, with 20 articles a month and a 3-day free trial. Suppliers with many processes or several sites usually choose Pro or Business.
Yes. With drafts mode on, every article waits in your CMS until someone on your team releases it, and your limits (no part numbers, no customer programs) go into the writing instructions. Sorank gives no legal or export control advice.
Give it pages to read: capability pages that state processes, materials, sizes and approvals in plain text, technical articles signed by your engineers, and consistent listings in the directories buyers use. Then track prompts such as "AS9100 machine shops for titanium parts" every month.
No. Your Google Business Profile, customer portals and accreditation databases stay with your team. Sorank publishes articles on your website and tracks how the AI assistants describe you.
Yes. Sorank publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Wix and Shopify, and to any other site through a webhook. If your site runs on a closed platform, ask its provider whether it accepts a webhook.
We don't. Sorank isn't trying to be another Semrush or Ahrefs. Those tools are built for data, Sorank is built to do the work. Instead of more dashboards to check, it turns SEO and GEO insights into actions: articles written and published, backlinks earned, technical fixes and AI visibility tracking. Less complexity, more results.
From $49/month per website on a yearly plan, with a 3-day free trial and a 90-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply). Every plan includes articles, AI visibility tracking and access to natural backlink acquisition; higher plans add more articles, more AI prompts tracked and more backlinks. No setup fees, no paying for seats you don't use.
You shouldn't need a full marketing team or expensive tools to grow. Sorank handles your entire SEO and AI visibility, so you save time and money.
