SEO for eyewear brands is how a glasses or sunglasses label gets picked by a shopper who cannot try the frames on. They type "glasses for round face", "how to measure pupillary distance" or "are blue light glasses worth it", then ask ChatGPT where to buy prescription glasses online. Sorank finds these questions, publishes guides linked to your frames, and checks every month which brands the AI assistants recommend.
For eyewear brands that sell online, from a single sunglasses collection to a full range with prescription lenses.

"Glasses for round face", "what size glasses do I need", "what do the numbers on my glasses mean": a shopper who guesses wrong sends the frame back. Sorank sorts these searches into silos (face shape, frame size, lens type, sunglasses by activity) and gives each silo a priority, so your guides cover a topic from end to end instead of scattering across it.
The silos come from the topical cluster generator.
"Polarized vs non-polarized sunglasses", "progressive lenses online", "photochromic lenses pros and cons": lens questions decide what goes in the basket. Sorank writes each guide with your own product photos and links the frames and lenses you sell inside the text, with a product card showing name and price. Health promises stay out once you say so in your instructions.
Product links and images come from brand voice.

"Best place to buy glasses online", "affordable prescription sunglasses", "best glasses brand for a wide face": an assistant answers with a short list of names. Sorank asks your questions every month in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, plus Grok from the Pro plan, and ranks every brand and retailer cited with its visitors and Google position, so you see who holds the place you want.
The ranking is the GEO leaderboard.
Shopify, WooCommerce on WordPress, Webflow, Wix, or a custom store through a webhook. Sorank reads Search Console to see which frames, face shapes and lens questions already bring impressions.
Frame shapes and sizes, materials, lens options, the prescriptions your lab accepts, try-on and return terms, and the claims you never make. Sorank builds the silos and the brief from it.
Sunglasses guides go out before spring, screen and reading glasses before the back-to-school weeks. Each article links to the frames it names, and lens content can wait as a draft for your optician.
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU

SEO for eyewear brands is the work that puts a glasses or sunglasses label in front of shoppers while they choose: in Google's results and shopping listings, and in the answers of AI assistants. Online, the buyer cannot put the frame on, so the brand that explains fit, size and lenses most clearly earns the trust that a shop mirror would have given.
Practices that examine eyes and fit glasses in person face other questions, covered on our page for optometrists. Frames sold as an accessory also borrow from fashion brands and, for designer eyewear, from luxury goods.
They narrow by face shape and style, check the size, then look for proof that the brand delivers. AI assistants lean hard on reviews for that last step. In our fashion AI citation study, Trustpilot appears in 11.51% of answers, and in 19.16% of Gemini's. The study's advice suits eyewear: publish sizing, materials and returns information as text on product pages, and keep marketplace listings consistent with your own store so the assistants do not find two versions of the same frame.
Our article on ChatGPT shopping shows how these product answers are put together.
Most of these are long-tail keywords: modest volume each, a clear intent, and room for a brand next to the large retailers.
Yes, if the article reports the evidence as it stands. A Cochrane review of 17 studies with 619 people, published in August 2023, found that blue-light filtering lenses may not reduce short-term eye strain from computer work, that effects on sleep are indeterminate, and that none of the studies evaluated macular health. The American Academy of Ophthalmology does not recommend any special blue light-blocking eyewear for computer use, and suggests looking at something at least 20 feet away for 20 seconds every 20 minutes.
A brand can still sell these lenses as a comfort or style choice. An article that says so plainly, cites both sources and adds the 20-20-20 habit is also easier for an assistant to quote than one that promises protection.
They depend on the country. In the United States, the FTC's Eyeglass Rule requires prescribers to give patients a free copy of their prescription immediately after a refractive eye exam, which is what lets a customer order from an online brand. Under FDA regulation 21 CFR 801.410, eyeglasses and sunglasses must be fitted with impact-resistant lenses, tested by dropping a 5/8-inch steel ball from 50 inches, and the test records are kept for 3 years. Elsewhere, check the local rule.
Your articles can explain the customer's side: how to ask for the prescription, what it must show, and what your lab checks before it cuts the lenses.
The measurements, a way to check them at home, and what happens if the frame does not fit. Explain the three numbers printed inside the temple (lens width, bridge width, temple length), how to measure pupillary distance with a ruler and a mirror, and which widths suit narrow or wide faces, with photos of the frame on several faces and a link to your virtual try-on if you offer one.
Close with the return terms. Google can show return policies alongside products and in knowledge panels when a store adds return policy structured data, nested under its organization. Our guide to the ecommerce product page covers the rest of the page.

Sorank finds the questions, writes and publishes the guides with links to your frames, tracks ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini every month, earns backlinks from other Sorank client sites and puts Search Console, Analytics and AI visits in one dashboard. It publishes to Shopify and the other main store platforms.
The brand keeps its product and collection pages, the virtual try-on tool, the Merchant Center feed, reviews, the lens lab, returns, and any optician check of lens content.
Essential is $49 a month per site billed yearly, or $99 month to month: 20 articles a month and 10 prompts tracked in ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. A brand with many collections or several countries will look at Pro (60 articles, 20 prompts and Grok added; $129 yearly or $249 monthly) or Business (120 articles, 50 prompts; $249 yearly or $499 monthly). Details are on the pricing page; 3 days are free, and the 90-day results-or-refund guarantee covers every plan.
New guides usually need several months to rank. Publish sunglasses content two or three months before the sunny season in your market, and judge each silo on its Search Console impressions after a quarter.
No. Sorank writes and publishes articles, such as fit guides and lens explainers, that link to your product and collection pages. Those pages stay yours to write and update.
Yes. Present them as a comfort or style choice, cite the current evidence, and leave out promises about eye health or sleep. Write that rule once in your default instructions and every article follows it.
Publish clear sizing, lens and returns information as text, keep reviews coming on the platforms assistants read, and keep marketplace listings consistent with your store. Sorank then shows each month which brands ChatGPT names on your questions and which sources it quotes.
Yes. Sorank publishes to Shopify, WordPress with WooCommerce, Webflow and Wix, and to other platforms through a webhook. Articles go live automatically or wait as drafts, as you choose.
Sorank starts at $49 a month per site on the yearly Essential plan, or $99 month to month, after 3 free days. Agencies that specialize in eyewear usually bill a monthly retainer.
Plan for several months before new guides rank, and publish sunglasses content well ahead of the season. Compare the impressions and clicks of each silo in Search Console after three months.
We don't. Sorank isn't trying to be another Semrush or Ahrefs. Those tools are built for data, Sorank is built to do the work. Instead of more dashboards to check, it turns SEO and GEO insights into actions: articles written and published, backlinks earned, technical fixes and AI visibility tracking. Less complexity, more results.
From $49/month per website on a yearly plan, with a 3-day free trial and a 90-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply). Every plan includes articles, AI visibility tracking and access to natural backlink acquisition; higher plans add more articles, more AI prompts tracked and more backlinks. No setup fees, no paying for seats you don't use.
You shouldn't need a full marketing team or expensive tools to grow. Sorank handles your entire SEO and AI visibility, so you save time and money.
