SEO for weight loss clinics is how a medical program gets found by the patient who searches "what happens at a first weight loss consultation", the one comparing "medical weight loss cost" across clinics, or the one asking ChatGPT whether a compounded injection is safe. These patients have often tried other programs and been let down, so they look for facts rather than slogans. Sorank finds their questions for each program you offer and publishes articles on your website, held as drafts until your doctor has approved them.
Sorank promises no weight loss, and neither should your pages. Prescribing and medical decisions stay with your clinicians.

"Do I qualify for a medical weight loss program", "what does a program cost from start to finish", "what happens when you stop GLP-1 medication": patients ask long before they fill in a form. Sorank groups these searches by program and intent, one keyword per article, so your medically supervised program, your dietitian support and your follow-up each get their own answers.
Build the list in keyword research.
An article on "semaglutide side effects" or "who should not take tirzepatide" should not go live unread. Switch on draft mode and each generated article waits on your site until your medical director has corrected and approved it. You choose the publishing days, so the review fits around clinic hours.
Set it up in the blog planner.

Ask an assistant "is medical weight loss worth it" or "how to choose a GLP-1 clinic", and it picks a few websites to quote. Sorank shows which ones it picked, model by model, and the searches it ran first. If a telehealth brand or a review site speaks for your city's patients, you know which question to answer next, with your own doctors' words.
Follow it in GEO optimization.
WordPress, Webflow, Wix, Shopify or a custom site through a webhook. Sorank reads your Search Console data to see which programs and questions already bring impressions.
Medical supervision, nutrition support, medication if you prescribe it, follow-up, and the qualifications of your team. Add a standing instruction for every article, such as no weight figures, no named prescription medicine if you are in the UK, and always a referral to a clinician.
Drafts wait for your medical director. Once approved, the article is published with its date, its sources and a link to book a consultation, so your team can see which ones to reread when a drug label or a rule changes.
THEY TRIED SORANK BEFORE YOU

SEO for weight loss clinics is the work that makes a medically supervised program visible when someone looks for help with their weight, on Google, in the local results and in AI assistants. The subject is health, the patient is often vulnerable, and medication has brought regulators into the field. Your content must therefore be accurate first and persuasive second.
This page is for clinics with a medical team: physician-led programs, clinics that prescribe, and those that follow patients after bariatric surgery. Practices led by a dietitian will find a closer fit on our page for nutritionists.
They compare safety, total cost and staff, and public health bodies tell them to. The National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (United States) tells patients to ask about the total cost from beginning to end, possible harm and staff training, and to distrust promises such as "Lose 30 pounds in 30 days!". Answer those questions on your site and you meet the checklist directly. The same page says experts recommend an initial goal of 5% to 10% of starting weight within 6 months: a reference you can quote as general guidance, never as what your patients will achieve.
Assistants lean on reviews here. In our wellness AI citation study, the nearest sector we measured (3375 answers, May to August 2026, mostly in French), Trustpilot is cited in 4.59% of answers, 1.7 times its general rate. For health advice itself, our healthcare AI citation study recommends plain practitioner pages and warns that the models tend to skip promotional claims.
Only what is true of the exact product you supply, and the word "approved" needs particular care. The FDA states that compounded drugs are not FDA approved, and reports 990 adverse events associated with compounded semaglutide and more than 730 with compounded tirzepatide as of May 31, 2026.
In a warning letter dated June 8, 2026, the agency called a weight loss clinic's website representations about compounded products false or misleading, including the phrase "FDA-approved pharmacy": compounding entities are not FDA-approved. Have your prescriber check each sentence that names a medicine, and read how to fact-check AI content before you set up the routine.
Far less than a US clinic. Prescription-only medicines cannot be advertised to the public in the UK, and the Advertising Standards Authority says this reaches your own social media and other online ads. Naming the medicine breaks the rule, and so can "skinny jab", "weight loss pen", "weight loss injections", pictures of pens and references to GLP-1 as a class.
A consultation may be promoted, provided the ad does not suggest that a prescription-only medicine is the likely outcome. The ASA mentions a small exemption for the inner pages of a clinic's own website, not for the homepage or landing pages you link to proactively. Check its website advice before publishing. Other countries have their own regulators: ask yours, and write your rules into Sorank's default instructions.

Only if they are real, typical and backed by evidence. In July 2025, the Federal Trade Commission (United States) announced a $150000 settlement with the telemedicine firm NextMed. It alleged an unsubstantiated claim that members lose 53 pounds, before and after photos of people who were not customers, fake testimonials, fake positive reviews on Trustpilot, and monthly prices that left out the cost of the drug.
That list works as a list of things to check on your own website. Sorank collects no reviews or patient stories, and your default instructions can rule out figures and testimonials in every article. Asking real patients for reviews stays with you: our guide to getting more Google reviews explains how.

Sorank handles keyword research, writing, publishing in draft or live mode, internal links, images and sources, backlinks from other Sorank client sites, monthly tracking of AI answers, and your Search Console data next to assistant visits.
Your clinic keeps diagnosis and prescribing, medical review, legal compliance, reviews, your Google Business Profile, city and location pages, and booking. Sorank offers no legal or medical opinion, so keep draft mode on: nothing goes live until your team says so. Neighbors search differently: see med spas, which often add weight programs to aesthetic care, and cosmetic surgery clinics for body contouring after weight loss.
Sorank costs $49 a month per website on the yearly Essential plan, or $99 month to month, for 20 articles and 10 tracked AI prompts, plenty if your doctor reviews only a few each month. Pro, at $129 billed yearly, gives 60 articles and adds Grok to the tracking; Business, at $249 billed yearly, gives 120. Try it for 3 days at no cost; plans and the 90-day results-or-refund guarantee are on the pricing page.
Plan on several months, and allow for your review time, since a draft in a queue ranks for nothing. Health topics are competitive, so start with the questions your front desk hears every week, then measure impressions, clicks and consultation requests after three months.
Several months, plus the time your doctor needs to review drafts. Articles collect impressions in Search Console before clicks. Look at them after three months, then at the consultation requests they bring.
With Sorank, $49 a month per website billed yearly, or $99 month to month, for 20 articles a month, after 3 free days. Local work, such as your Google Business Profile, stays with you.
No. Your Google Business Profile, reviews and city pages stay with you, and they weigh heavily on "weight loss clinic near me". Sorank covers the articles that answer patients' questions and tracks what AI assistants say about your clinic.
Nobody can guarantee it, and health answers are handled with caution. Sorank asks your tracked questions monthly, such as "how to choose a medical weight loss clinic", shows the sources cited, and publishes factual pages on your programs and team for the assistants to use.
It depends on your country. In the US, the FDA states that compounded drugs are not FDA approved, so your wording must match what you supply. In the UK, the ASA bars promoting prescription-only medicines to the public, with a small exemption for inner website pages. Have your clinician and adviser check first.
Sorank promises no weight loss figures, and your default instructions can rule out figures and testimonials in every article. Your clinic decides on photos and patient stories with its adviser, and they must be real and typical. Use draft mode so nothing goes live without your doctor's approval, whichever site builder you use.
We don't. Sorank isn't trying to be another Semrush or Ahrefs. Those tools are built for data, Sorank is built to do the work. Instead of more dashboards to check, it turns SEO and GEO insights into actions: articles written and published, backlinks earned, technical fixes and AI visibility tracking. Less complexity, more results.
From $49/month per website on a yearly plan, with a 3-day free trial and a 90-day money-back guarantee (conditions apply). Every plan includes articles, AI visibility tracking and access to natural backlink acquisition; higher plans add more articles, more AI prompts tracked and more backlinks. No setup fees, no paying for seats you don't use.
You shouldn't need a full marketing team or expensive tools to grow. Sorank handles your entire SEO and AI visibility, so you save time and money.
