Use HubSpot with Sorank

Sorank does not yet offer a direct integration with HubSpot. However, you can still publish your Sorank articles on your HubSpot blog in just a few steps using the CSV export and import method.

How It Works

The process is simple: you export your articles from Sorank as a CSV file, then import that file into HubSpot using their built-in blog import feature. This lets you transfer your titles, meta descriptions, article body, and other SEO data directly into your HubSpot blog.

Step 1: Generate Your Articles in Sorank

Before exporting, make sure your articles are generated and finalized in Sorank. Go to SEO Content > Articles in your Sorank dashboard. Review and edit each article as needed: check the title, meta description, slug, and content body. Once you are satisfied, your articles are ready for export.

Step 2: Export Your Articles as CSV

In the Articles list, select the articles you want to publish on HubSpot by checking their boxes. Click the Export button at the top of the list. Sorank will generate a CSV file containing all the structured data for your selected articles: title, meta description, slug, author, post body in HTML, and more.

Save this CSV file to your computer.

Step 3: Prepare Your CSV for HubSpot

HubSpot requires specific columns in the CSV file for blog import. Make sure your file includes the following fields:

  • URL: the target URL for each blog post.
  • Title: the article title.
  • SEO title: the title optimized for search engines.
  • Author: the name of the article author.
  • Meta description: a brief summary of the article for search results.
  • Publish date: the date you want the article to be published.
  • Post body: the full HTML content of the article.

If needed, you can also add optional columns like Featured image (as a URL) and Categories/Tags (comma-separated).

You can download HubSpot's sample CSV file to use as a formatting reference before uploading.

Step 4: Import Your Blog into HubSpot

  1. Log in to your HubSpot account.
  2. Click the settings icon in the top navigation bar.
  3. In the left sidebar, go to Content > Blog.
  4. In the Current view section, click the dropdown menu and select Import blog.
  5. Click Import new blog (or Start new import > Blog posts if you have already imported before).
  6. Select CSV file upload and click Next.
  7. Choose your blog platform from the dropdown (or select "I am not sure").
  8. Select the HubSpot blog where you want the posts to appear.
  9. Upload your CSV file and click Copy blog posts.

Step 5: Map Your Columns

After uploading, HubSpot will ask you to map each column from your CSV to the corresponding blog property. For each field, select the matching column header from your file. Once all fields are mapped, click Next. The import will process in a few minutes.

Step 6: Review and Publish

Once the import is complete, go to your HubSpot blog dashboard to review the imported posts. Check formatting, images, and metadata. When everything looks good, publish your articles.
