Looking to switch the website linked to your Sorank account? It is not possible to change your website once it has been set up. Here's why, and what you can do instead.

Why You Cannot Change Your Website

When you connect your website to Sorank, we perform a deep analysis behind the scenes. This includes:

• Full site crawl: we scan every page to understand your site's structure, content, and technical setup.
• Market analysis: we identify your industry, competitors, and target audience.
• Custom AI prompts: all our SEO and AI recommendations are built specifically around your website's data.
• Ongoing monitoring: we continuously track your site's performance to refine our suggestions.

Every article we generate, every SEO recommendation we make, and every audit we run is tailored to your specific website and market. Changing the site would invalidate all of this work and could lead to inaccurate analyses.

Pooled credits usage

All your credits are shared across your sites. When you add a new site to your existing subscription, all your prompts, articles and audits are pooled and available across every connected site. You can manage your budget flexibly, with no per-project silos.

Regardless of whether your subscription is cancelled or still active, your credits remain pooled for the entire current billing period, either 30 days for a monthly subscription or over the year for an annual subscription.

What to Do If You Need a Different Website

If you want to work on a different website, you have two options:

Option 1 : Add another site to your account (recommended)

Simply add a new subscription for the new website. This way, Sorank can run a fresh analysis, understand the new site's market, and generate accurate content. You can cancel the previous subscription if you no longer need it.

Option 2 : Create a new account, sign up with a new account dedicated to the new website.

We recommend adding a new site directly to your existing account. This allows you to keep all your data in one place while letting Sorank perform a complete analysis of your new website — from crawling and market research to building personalized AI prompts for your content strategy.
