When Sorank publishes an article, it uses the default author of the account you connected, often shown as admin. The author is not chosen article by article inside Sorank. You set it in your own CMS. Here is how to change it on each platform.
Sorank publishes under the WordPress user you connected. To change the author, either reassign the post to another user with the Author menu in the post editor, or rename that user. The displayed name comes from Users > Profile > Display name publicly as. See the official WordPress guide.
On Shopify, a blog post author must be a store staff member. Open your blog post, go to the Organization section and pick the author from the drop-down (the store owner or a staff member with admin access). To show someone else, add them as staff first. See the official Shopify guide.
Sorank publishes under your blog's default writer, the admin profile. To change the name and photo shown on your posts, edit that writer's profile in Wix, or reassign the post to another writer. See the official Wix guide.
In Webflow, the author is a reference field on your blog Collection that points to an Authors Collection. To change it, open the blog post item in Webflow and set its author field to the right author, or change the default. See the official Webflow guide.
If you publish through the webhook integration or your website is self-hosted and custom-built, the author is handled on your own site: your developer controls how it is stored and displayed, so the change is made on your side. For a self-hosted site, you can also set the author directly in your Sorank settings.
