One client, then twenty five

In 2024, our founder Thibault Besson-Magdelain started an SEO agency with one client and one promise: bring in traffic that turns into revenue.

Two years later, the agency was running more than 25 client sites at once. E-commerce brands, local businesses, software companies, in several countries. The method worked, the clients ranked, and referrals kept coming.

The method became a system

By the end of the first year, the work had a shape. The same sequence produced the same results, whatever the market: find the queries that carry intent, map them to pages that deserve to exist, write something better than what already ranks, link it all together, publish, measure, repeat.

We ran it on a jewelry store and on a software company in the same week. Same sequence. Same outcome.

A serious retainer starts around $2000 a month

That is the honest going rate for a team doing this work properly, often with a twelve month commitment on top.

‍It is fair for the agency and out of reach for most businesses.

The founders who called us anyway

Telling them "come back when you are bigger" made no sense. They needed the traffic precisely so they could get bigger.

Every week, someone reached out with a real product, real customers and a real reason to be found: a shop owner, a coach, a two person software company.

They had everything except the budget of a company ten times their size.

We wrote the agency down

At the end of 2025, Thibault handed the agency over, left France for a fresh start in Budapest and wrote the whole thing down there.

Every checklist, every rule of thumb, every judgment call made across two years and hundreds of client conversations.

Then came the obvious question.

While we were building, search changed for everyone.

People started asking full questions to ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and getting one written answer back with a handful of sources cited.

Being one of those sources is the new front row.

We had a choice: treat that as someone else's problem, or make it part of the same engine. We made it part of the engine.

Today Sorank works on both fronts at once: classic search, where the clicks still are, and AI answers, where the decisions are increasingly made.

It finds, writes and publishes

Sorank identifies the queries that carry real intent in your language and your market, then decides which pages deserve to exist.

Content that no human would read is not an asset

Volume without quality fills an index with pages nobody visits. We would rather publish less and publish something worth citing.

Automation should remove work, not add settings

Internal linking, keyword targeting and topic selection are decided by the system.
